Good Product. Foam quality is cheap. Bit firm and plastic feel.
Good quality foam roller with the added benefit of electric vibration, what an upgrade from my traditional foam roller. For someone that works out regularly, my muscles certainly need some focused attention. The addition of vibration really does help loosen my muscles and reduce the feeling of DOMs. Multiple settings allow for varying muscle groups and personal preference also.
Fully rechargeable unit, each charge takes a few hours and lasts a long time as i only need to charge it about once every 1-2 weeks dependent on exercise and use at the time. The product page mentions USB charging but this comes with a dedicated adapter so be careful not to lose or break it as i am not sure how easily replaceable this is, a USB cable is a but more universal and would have been better.
Just under 60 (at the time of review) which sounds expensive for what it is but it really suits me and benefits my exercise regime. Highly recommend.
4 stars out of 5
This is a firm roller with hard ridges designed to assist in rolling out sore and painful muscles. The difference between this roller and the other ones that I have tried in the past is that this one vibrates at 1 of 4 different levels in order to more thoroughly soothe and release sore muscles.
My experience with this one is that it works well although I did find the ridges to be a little painful at times because they are so hard, especially in spots that are usually extra hard for me to roll out, like my hip area. That being said the vibration did seem to help to roll out parts of my body that were tighter than usual and I did feel some muscle knot release.
This charges quickly and the battery seems to last a long time without needing a charge. This package includes everything that I needed to get started and overall seems to be a good value product perfect for those who work out regularly and experience muscle soreness.
I had faith that this product would be as good as expected. It just looks comfortable to lean back against! The “foam roller” vibrates and feels great. You can use this for other areas, but I found it most useful on my lower back.
The wife stole mine for her office chair, she liked it so much. Definitely recommended.
I’m a Registered Massage Therapist, and I’ve used a foam roller for years. When I saw this new innovation in foam rolling, I had to try it out.
The massager is well built. It’s a competent roller on its own; in fact, both of mine are. I have the big fat circular one (think standard roller) and a thin spiky one. The battery does, in fact, last a couple of hours minimum. I’ve never run out of charge. The 4 levels are genuinely powerful enough, which I worried about given the price. But I stick to the uppermost exclusively (3 and 4).
The results are… fine. I don’t know that the massager adds a significant amount of relaxation, but it’s certainly more versatile. I’m a big compression-based person. I don’t like to “roll,” rather I like to use the roller to compress on difficult spots. For example, I “roll” my lats/teres major out all the time by compressing on a single site of tension, waiting for it to relax, then moving on to another. I’ve done this with and without the massage component. The massage does feel nice in this position, and it allows me to hang out while my mind drifts a bit.
All in all, it’s interesting. I don’t think you NEED the massage component to affect relaxation of your musculature, but for some, it feels nice… and that’s all that matters. It might even be preferable for people without a deeper anatomical background.
I’m still a little undecided about this product, but I know this. I turn to it every time instead of my standard foam roller.
WOW. This vibrating foam roller is incredible! I’ve used similar foam rollers in the past and they don’t compare. In comparison to my non-vibrating rollers, this one is heavy duty. It’s a tougher material than the others I’ve tried, which I like for cracking my back in hard-to-reach places. I like to stretch my back with this and just lay still on it while it vibrates. The vibration is out of control. I initially assumed there was only one mode of vibration, but there are four different intensities. The motor and batteries are housed inside and controlled by a button, while the four speeds are indicated by a set of LEDs on one side. So far, I haven’t had any issues with battery life, and it produces a decent hard vibrate when incorporated into my cool down routines; hopefully, with more use, it will be able to work out some of my deeper knots!
Pros:
– Helps my muscles relax
– Relives muscle tension and soreness
– Bigger than I thought it would be
-Battery lasts a long time, charges quickly
– 4 speeds
I have read alot about these vibrating foam rollers, they are super popular right now in the fitness world. This is a great thing to have at home. I work construction. My muscles are often exhausted from a hard days work, this foam roller really helps me relax after a long day. I really like the four different intensities of vibration. This foam roller provides deep muscle relief for my back, my legs and my arms. I feel like it really helps the circulation in my legs. This foam roller provides the relief I need after a long day, I like to use it when I am unwinding watching TV.
I saw non-mechanical ones used by my Physical Therapist to help stretch and loosen up my upper back. They did help provide some relief, and so I got one for myself at home instead of paying $$$ to go to the PT and use it.
Then I got myself this vibrating one to see how it would differ, but before doing so, I got my therapist’s blessing first. He looked at it, had me give it a try with the vibration function — which, by the way, felt a bit weird — and he said, paraphrasing, “Looks good. This should work better for you as the vibration will relax your muscles more.”
Again, the vibration felt odd, but I kept with it for a few days, and surprisingly, I got used to it and increased the vibration strength. Once I was done with my exercises and turned off the vibration, that tingly sensation continued with my back and eventually I felt a bit more relaxed than with the non-mechanical foam one.
The material is sturdy and solid, and for some, it may not be firm enough. It was worth the investment for me to be used each night (and some mornings) to help stretch. My toddler loves joining me whenever he sees me using it, it’s quite cute.
If you’re looking to bring your foam rolling stretches to a new level this vibrating foam roller by Body Bolt is a good option.
Pros:
Thick foam that doesn’t lose its shape after weeks of usage
The foam roller is lightweight
The foam roller is a good length. Its long enough to be able to use to roll out your back but at the same time short enough to fit into most gym bags
Has grooves to provide a deeper tissue massage
4 intensity speeds that can easy be adjusted using the power button
Super easy to clean. I usually wipe down the foam roller with a cloth after every use.
Cons:
I don’t like how the middle part of the foam roller does not have the deep tissue grooves
I would have liked this to have a longer battery life than 3 hours so I wouldn’t have to remember to charge it mid week.
The charging cable is a proprietary one not a micro usb or usb c. Which means one more thing you have to remember to pack and if you lose the cable then you’re out of luck.
This is the first foam roller I’ve tried that is made of mainly Styrofoam. I have tried the other BodyBolt foam roller which is spiky (textured) with a smaller diameter. Out of the two, I actually prefer the spiky one, even if I don’t like the smaller diameter so much. This mostly smooth but very, very dense foam roller is un-textured/ridged/spiky, which doesn’t make as much of a ‘dent’ in the areas I’m trying to pinpoint, it’s a much more diffuse experience. I wouldn’t say it’s bad or ineffective, it’s just a milder form of SMR massage therapy rather than a deep-tissue massage for self-administered myofascial release (SMR). It doesn’t dig into my tension and muscle knots as much.
The vibrating effect is new to me, it’s like they combined the vibrating effect of a percussion massage gun with a foam roller for a better effect. I like it! The intensity of the vibrations (4 levels of intensity) can be adjusted via the button on one end of the roller. I would have preferred separate buttons for each power level so I wouldn’t have to cycle through each to get to the preferred setting depending on the area I’m working on.
The battery life is excellent, suitable for multiple massage sessions so you don’t have to recharge it after every single use. It recharges via an AC power adapter, not a USB charging cable.
I got three of these in to try. I’ve used massage guns before but my trainer had recommended rollers. This one is bigger than the other two… it’s thick but it’s fairly soft. It barely has any bumps so you are mostly relying on the vibration to help. Out of the three it’s my favorite but to me it’s not as good as a massage gun. I suppose it can be more helpful for select muscle groups though especially if you don’t have anyone to use a massage gun on you. Overall good product.
The best of the best vibrating Foam Roller because in a few words it reliefs the back pain whilst doing yoga or stretching exercise with it. Above all it has an amazing battery and rechargeable. It consists of multiple speed settings. An amazing new idea and I truly recommend it for Yoga and Exercise lovers.
He is using it to manage his back issue. He, claims as per his chiropractor advise, rolls on it all over the living room, claiming to open up this, or stretch that. Quality is good. Helps hubby with his back issue. He has not used the vibration option yet. Not to large so easy to store.

I’ve had opportunity to use a few vibrating foam rollers and I think this one is well priced for what it offers.
Most foam rollers you need to manually roll backwards and forwards to essentially self-massage yourself. When you find a tight spot, you typically stop and apply pressure (weight) to that area.
This type of foam roller allows you to be a little more lazy and perhaps more effective with your massaging. All you need to do is turn the foam roller on and roll back and forth as you typically would whilst it vibrates. You get a real feeling of it penetrating into the muscles when you do this. In addition, when you find a tough spot you stop the vibrations really dig into this area when you stop on it and give you that extra bit of relief compared to a standard roller.
This foam roller specifically has four speeds that are very different from each other. The lowest one is very comfortable whereas the top one is quite vigorous. That said, it won’t compete with the much more expensive foam rollers such as the Hyper Ice one, but for a third of the price it’s not too far off and I’m not sure to be honest you’d want/need any higher of a speed. To cycle through them you just hit the power button on the side and there are small blue LEDs to let you know what speed you are on.
The materials the roller is made of are rather firm. They are much less spongey than the ‘soft’ foam rollers although not quite as hard as the Amazon-branded one I have. This is probably about right for this kind of roller as the harder ones would be very noisy, whereas the softer ones would absorb too much of the impact. I’d say this is about right for me. The little grooves on the roller seem to help it grip slightly to both the floor and person using it, so it doesn’t slide away too easily.
The quality of is fine overall, although I would say that the roller does look a little cheap compared to some others I’ve used. It probably won’t affect functionality at all, it’s just cosmetically it looks a little cheap and plasticky, but probably not a big deal for most. The actual electronics seem solid enough, there’s no rattling, and the plug charges it quickly and easily.
Overall, I think for under 50.00 (at time of writing) this is very well priced and seems a good option for anyone looking to upgrade their foam roller and benefit from the added vibrations.
This foam roller is amazing. I love the vibrations (3 speeds) that causes great circulation to target areas.
I feel like I have poor circulation in my legs so the vibrations help and my legs feel amazing! The foam roller is nice and firm and the vibration is a bonus!! Love it! Happy with my purchase and it comes with a battery charger.
This vibrating foam roller is amazing! I’ve tried similar foam rollers before and they don’t compare, especially on price.
I personally use foam rollers to roll out my thighs and hamstrings after a workout and occasionally roll out some knots in my back. I have defintely noticed a difference when using this roller and the different vibrating settings compared to conventional rollers.
Overall: Amazing value, outstanding results.
Vibrations get deep into the muscles and works better than a standard roller.
Charges quickly and has different speed/vibration settings according to your needs.
Slightly smaller than a standard roller but I actually found this prefable.
Really good quality. I’m pleased with my purchase, would recommend
This roller is very firm and seems to be well made. It last a long time on a charge (a week being used every day for 10-20 mins). Very happy so far with product, brother has also bought one and found it very helpful.
Might be a bit to firm for certain areas but overall very happy with the foam rolle
This is a great product, much more comfortable than a regular foam roller. Would recommend!
Bought this item for my son’s birthday, who is a competitive gymnast. The design and texture are really good and it appears very well built, a very sturdy item. When turned on the max setting, it is really powerful. No problems with the charging unit or battery length. Would recommend thoroughly.
The product is qualitative and good looking. Material is pleasant. Would be superb, if there could be USB charger instead of specific circular one, as it would be more comfy and mobile.
I ordered the Body Bolt Vibrating Foam Roller – Electric Foam Roller with 4 speeds – Deep Tissue Trigger Point Sports Massage Therapy, High Intensity Massager Roller, 3hr Battery.
I have to say that this is impressive. I have always used a normal foam roller for muscle soreness and to get out aches and pain. The vibrating just adds another level of intensity to the whole thing.
When my partner was using it upstairs I did initially think it was the start of an earthquake.
I wouldn’t want to go back to a normal foam roller after this! The product is sturdy and provides the right level of intensity.
I would recommend this product.
Body Bolt Vibrating Foam Roller is really good! I have back problems and I never found a solution how to help myself. I thought that maybe the pillow is not right for me so I changed it, I even bought a new mattress, but these things didn’t help. And the as I was scrolling I stumbled across this roller and bought it because there was nothing to lose. I am now using this roller every day and my back got better. I don’t know if it is because of exercising more or this roller, but I am really happy that I bought it. This roller has 4 different speeds so you can choose whichever you want. It really can relieve tension in your muscles. Also I have to mention that i adore the size of this roller. It is not too big, but also not too small.
This has been great for my workouts and i am very surprised with the effectiveness of the vibration. When it arrived, I thought it would be battery powered but NO, its rechargeable! its a good weight and also a good side, ribbed and with plenty of variations across the cylinder.
The motor and batteries are inside, and operated via a button and the four speeds are denoted via a set of LEDs one one side. so far i haven’t had any issue with battery life and its produced a decent hard vibrate when incorporated into my cool down routines, hopefully with more use it can get some of my deeper knots out!
It’s a great aid to anyones workout routine.
