I wanted a compact but sturdy, easy to use sit-stand desk converter as knee surgery prevented me from sitting at my desk for too long. This is the perfect answer. Just the right size, very easy to switch between sit and stand position, sturdy enough to hold a large monitor and laptop. No assembly required, just cut the retaining cable and it’s ready to use. Does exactly what it says.
Would highly recommend this having bought it after suffering from a bad back and pain in my glute and hip flexors whilst sitting down to work nearly all day. This has transformed my working day and I am less sedentary and in a much better postural position to work. It’s easily transportable so can use it working from home or whichever office base I am at that day. I also took it to my nail tech who kindly obliged with my request to do my nails stood up and afterwards commented on how much better it was for her as well

The quality of the Sit- Stand Desk Converter is excellent and look great. I am very pleased with it and the different height positions allows you to correctly find the height that feels comfortable. The finish on the table area is nicely finished and with a hard surface that will resist light knocks. The mechanism is smooth and you can easily adjust the height without your laptop or monitor feeling like it would fall off the table.
N.B. Keep the foam piece of packaging that came with the table placed between the work surface and height adjustable lever. After setting the height and with your PC sitting on the table, place this back in position to prevent the catch being depressed by accident.
Working from home has all kinds of highs and lows, I’m lucky my spare bedroom turned into an office with proper desk easily as first lockdown approached. A colleague recommended this to me and it’s been an enormous success. Adjustable heights to suit individual needs, sitting or standing. Solid firm base for the Laptop, safe and secure, stable. It does take up quite a lot of space on the desk, but still had room for a small printer.

This has improved my bad back massively, as I can now stand and use my laptop. Too much sitting was really painful. It’s sturdy enough to use with my laptop, big enough for that and a note pad and adjustable to different heights. Highly recommended.

This is absolutely great. I bought it on the strength of the reviews, so thought I ought to leave one too.
Seems to be very sturdy so you can lean on it no problem, which makes it very comfortable. The up/down mechanism is very good. It’s a nice size – not too big, but can easily fit my laptop and one or two other bits.
The only reservation I’d have is that I’m not particularly tall (5’9), and when raised to the maximum this is just right for me. If you’re taller it may be too low, though that would also depend on the height of the table you have it on.
Can’t really fault this at all. It’s easy to adjust the height, it’s sturdy and big enough so that I can use a laptop and mouse and have room for a cup of coffee and a calculator! I’m a (very mature!) student and was having a lot of problems with my shoulders and this has essentially solved them. I should probably use a riser and a keyboard, but on it’s own this has been a game changer. Plus it keeps my desk at a height away from small children’s hands! The only potential negative is that I sometimes lift it and carry it to another table and the handle for adjusting the height is just where you’d pick it up – a couple of times I’ve inadvertently extended the legs whilst I’m moving it. However, for most people that probably isn’t ever an issue. I have absolutely no idea why I didn’t invest in one earlier and saved my back and shoulder a lot of stress. Given the trend for working at home I should imagine I’ll be using this for the foreseeable future.
I received this product in the week and tried it out a few times, I purchased because I didn’t want to spend as much money on a full sit-stand desk so this seems like the next best thing! It is so easy to use and fits on my current desk nicely, allowing me to adjust positions
Easy to set up and to lower when i need to sit. I’m 5’8″ and its ideal for me, if I was taller I would need to make the screen slightly higher I think. However for me it’s perfect!

I am now standing to work after severe bout of sciatica nerve pain. This converts my regular desk into a standing one. It comes up to a good height. Bigger than expected but that’s my inattention to dimensions. Good size work surface. Easy to use straight out of the box. Heavier than expected but very solid.

The item is exactly as described, it even turned out slightly bigger than I expected (it matched the given dimensions, though). It was despatched immediately and delivered next day even with a normal service, so this was a pleasant surprise. No assembly needed, really, open and use it! The mechanism is very smooth and quite. It feels very sturdy and the working space is more than enough for a laptop, mouse and a notebook (not sure if it will fit with a monitor though). Super happy with the desk!
I needed something to stand my laptop on,so that I wouldn’t be reaching down and straining my back. This is both solid and nicely balanced. You just push the lever on top inwards to raise it,and do the same pushing down gently and evenly on the main surface to lower it.Releasing the lever locks it in place.A little heavy.

After months of sitting down all day working from home, this desk converter allows me to easily raise or lower my work area so I can stand up for some meetings. It’s really easy to use and move up and down, strongly recommend it.
I am very impressed by this. This week is my first time back working full time (after furlough and half days) and I’ll be working from home long term. I find my back getting stiff with being seated for back to back calls and decided to order this as I don’t have space for another desk.
This is great. It can hold my monitor stand and monitor. Space for keyboard and mouse. Adjusting it up and down is really easy, no effort and very smooth. I was worried that it might be heavy with the stuff on it but no issues at all going up and very controlled coming down (again, worried that it might come down very quickly). I’m loving it already and can’t wait to use it on Monday!
It has a few ‘levels’ or height that it locked on and in this picture I showed the highest and the half way height.

Very good product. Small for a Laptop, additional Monitor and Keyboard, but works and is sturdy and easy to move up and down, even with extra load. I am moving my keyboard/mouse onto normal desk when sitting. This works well as sitting position, the topper would be too high to type on.
A solid desk which would have been ideal for me except the height can only be set at fixed points with the lowest point being too high for me. I’m 5’6″ and couldnt use this on a standard desk at its lowest setting. Very disappointing as it seemed to be a good piece of kit otherwise.
I use a standing desk adapter in work, much needed due to back issues. I needed something similar now that I’m working from home.
This is perfect. It is a great size, my laptop fits easily and there’s still room to the side for writing on at least an A4 size pad.

Out of all the desk converters, this was the best value for money I could find. The height goes further than most others. It is just big enough for my large laptop, mouse pad and a cup of tea, Easy to go up and down, but be aware, it has pre-set heights you must use. Seems to be very good quality, and quite minimalistic in style, which is great. No big ugly branding. Mouse also works on the plastic surface fine.
Excellent product very easy to use, robust and good for my back pains
Pretty happy with this purchase, I waited for it to be on offer and got it for 53. It has increments for height settings that click into place, I give it a shake to ensure it’s in the right place. Only slightly annoying things is sometimes it rattles or jingles with the springs under it if you move it or lean on it like I do.
BEWARE when opening you have to cut the cable tie under it and I managed to press the button in so when I cut it open it shot open with a lot of force and smacked my window. Could break a bone I reckon if in the way and I thought it had cracked my window so be cautious!!

Love it. I work with a screen, a laptop, a keyboard and a mouse. The desk surface is large enough for these. Also it’s very easy to switch between sit-stand and the height as you like. I recommend this for anyone who works from home and is already feeling the harm of sitting all day!
I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and it’s perfect. Sometimes I work sitting down and other times standing up. It’s very easy to adjust the height between the two. It’s a very sturdy piece of kit that looks good too. Good value for money.
Got this due to the working at home situation and I love it.
I can easily do alot more than sit when working and this makes this happen. When doing presentations I tend to stand in front of an audience and this helps to make this happen.

I got this recently as Working From Home has become a pain in the neck in more ways than one. This little sit stand table convertible stand is amazing. Really easy to use was already ready to use.
You have little leaver on side you must press to go up or down. This fits my small narrow desk perfectly.
Does the job, as expected.
Suggest you put pads on the bottom as it did scratch out table a little bit.

I bought this as I had a problem with Nerve compression behind my knee after months of lock down and working from home. The desk converter gives me the flexibility to either stand or sit for work. Its easy to use and is height adjustable and sturdy. The desk top is large enough to accommodate laptop, Mouse, Phone Light & pad & paper (should I need it. Oh and Yes the knee is recovering!

This desk of a superb quality and I absolutely love it! I am currently working at home and was spending hours and hours sitting down right up to the point when my back said enough! I searched for a standing desk and came across this one. Didn’t hesitate to order one for me and have not regretted my decision even for a second since! It’s big enough to comfortably accommodate my laptop with a hard drive and a mouse, and my elbows. If I want to sit down for a while, I do not need to move anything from this desk, I just simply squeeze the lever and bring the desk down – it goes so smooth and easy! In my opinion, this desk well worth every penny.

Pulled the trigger once I saw it on offer to replace some DIY solution I’d put together. It’s perfect size, loads of room for laptop on riser, keyboard and mouse. I hang it on the back of the door when not in use (heavy duty hooks needed as it weighs a bit) and drilled an additional hole in the metal bracket as typically my ideal height was between the heights available – easy to do (size 8 metal drill bit and you’re away). Recommend highly if you want a standing desk solution when WFH.

I bought it because I have back issues and I need to stand up time to time. It is perfect size and sturdy. The size is just for an iMac with the keyboard and a mouse, as I have it. Often small and compact means fragile and flimsy but not in this case. I had a Varidesk when working in my company office, which was a monster – extremely heavy, ugly and frankly not very reassuring in the stability stakes. This is the opposite – Neat strong, smooth operation and only adds a couple of inches to the desk height when folded flat. Well pleased as it fits my home sized desk perfectly. I’ve managed to squeeze a laptop and 2nd flat screen on it with a keyboard and it copes absolutely fine
It is surprisingly easy to use and works very well. It is a good size and I find myself spending quite a bit of time in the day working on my computer standing up – which was the whole reason for getting it.
It took me a while to decide to buy this product as there are quite a few similar models out there. This was the most reasonably priced and also seemed to have the best reviews. Other more expensive models had reviews complaining of the stand shaking while typing so I was quite anxious to receive this and test it out. As soon as it arrived I could tell it was going to be a sturdy design as it felt quite heavy in the box. I was not disappointed; it is very sturdy and I started using it immediately. It is very easy to adjust and has a number of pre-set height settings which suit very well. The only word of warning I would give is not to stand at your desk all day as soon as you receive your product. If you’re not used to standing for long periods it will wear you out so phase it in gradually.

This is a strong and sturdy product and a perfect size for standing up and working on a laptop with plenty of space for a mouse/drink at the side. Good choice of varying heights with flat option for sitting down. Good value compared to others on the market.

This stand is just better designed and built than the cheaper products I have seen, the X frame and the rectangular base give it a good solid structure.
The top surface has a nice touch and looks good.

1. I already had a sturdy desk and did not want to spend 100’s pounds replacing it and then having to get rid of the old one.

A few weeks on and I can truly say it has made a massive and positive difference to my working at home.
A. No more RSA in my left shoulder and arm.
B. I am standing and moving about during the day, so do not feel so sluggish and feel better
C. The pop-up desk is great for my laptop, extension block, fan, mouse mat and mouse. I do not feel cramped and can work all day.

It’s not as sturdy as the big one I have at the office, and there is a tiny bit of wiggle if you lean on it, but not so much that I think it’s going to collapse or anything. At the price I paid, I can live with that.

I bought this after developing piriformis syndrome in the new year 2020. Originally I was going to take it into work, but was lucky enough to inherit a sit stand desk. Now working from home due to the Covid 19 situation, and this has turned my dining table to a decent workstation for home working. I find that using this I stand most of the working day, and helps to combat other perils of home working – like not having a proper chair, or the dining table being not quite the right height for home working. It is sturdy – and heavy! but has been a life saver. Would recommend.

I have a 28″ gaming monitor on it and it adjusts fine with a bit of effort as the monitor is a bit heavy. Just watch out if you have a large keyboard and mouse pad, you may struggle for space, but just measure everything before you buy.

So glad I got this. It’s nice and sturdy and plenty of room for my desktop pc, keyboard, mouse and paperwork. It took a bit of manoeuvring up and down at first to get it going but now it’s working brilliantly and doing my back the world of good.
Easy to use and does the job well. Easily copes with an iMac, keyboard, trackpad, external drives and various desk bits and pieces.

I was surprised at how sturdy this table us. I can lean on the table with one elbow without any flex.
