Easy to take measurements, simply point the dot at the target and will measure from the back of the unit – so hold against the wall etc. Two measurements and it will work out the area (great for carpets or how much paint you need!). It also remembers the last 10 measurements so no need to write as you go (but remember the order you measured!)
Batteries included and ready to go – great piece of kit.

Have used this in the garden as well as indoors, when measuring paths and patio areas. It’s been so much easier than using a traditional measuring tape. I believe it can also measure volume but I haven’t used it for this yet.

The manual is comprehensive but the basics can be picked up quite fast.

As a BOSCH product it exudes quality and should, I hope, last many years. You can of course go cheap and cheerful and buy something generic but this is a quality brand and I am able to trust the accuracy of it.

Also comes with batteries which is handy.

Es pronto para evaluar el UniversalDistance 50 de Bosch debido al poco tiempo que lleva en mis manos, pero me ha sorprendido por lo pequeo que es y la precisin en sus mediciones.
La medicin contnua o permanente segn se mueve el objeto o tu te mueves es sumamente til para mi trabajo, as como incluir o no incluir el aparato en la medicin tambien es til.
No tiene mas que cuatro formas de medir adems de sumar y restar.
Repito que llevo poco tiempo con el producto y no se si fallar algo pero su sencillez de manejo, tamao y precisin me ha sorprendido.

Me ha gustado mucho este medidor por su funcionalidad y precisin.
Tiene bastante precisin, pudiendo medir de forma exacta hasta 50 metros de distancia.
La parte que empieza a contar para la medicin es la trasera como ocurre con todos los medidores de este tipo. Tambin se puede configurar que empiece a medir desde su parte delantera.
Tiene una pantalla digital de 1,4″ en la que se ven los resultados de las mediciones muy claramente.
Es capaz de memorizar hasta 10 resultados para poder comprobarlas posteriormente.
Adems, puede hacer sumatorias o incluso el volumen, calculndolo a partir de la medicin de los 3 ejes.
Se puede configurar muy fcilmente desde su interfaz y con los botones que tiene.
No es el ms barato, pero es un precio justo para su calidad.

It comes with batteries and its easy to set up and use.

I admit, the first few measurements I took, I double-checked the old fashioned way with a measuring tape. But it was spot on. Highly recommend.

Bosch Laser Measure. I’m not sure why we have not bought one of these before, what a brilliant and easy way to measure – well almost anything in your home. The machine is light and easy to manage, it competently measures distance, volume and area and in particular is great for measuring places that are tricky to reach. You can do all of this without assistance and ensure an accurate measurement. I’ve been using it for picture hanging which I usually do by eye (not great if you get it wrong) but with this it makes finding the central point so easy.
I found the instructions a little confusing and I’m not sure that they are quite correct, however it is not too complicated to work out. Just put in the provided batteries and press the on/off button and the mode comes up and can be changed by using the top left hand button and is well displayed It also retains and recalls up to 10 measurements. Great piece of equipment to have around.

This is a pretty clever gadget once you get the hang of it. It’s smaller than I expected and as such fits perfectly in my pocket while I’m working. I’ve not got to the more advanced area- and volume-measuring modes yet, but for measuring up ready for buying furniture it was a breeze to use. I’m not sure it’s sufficiently better than a tape measure to justify the 10x price but it certainly satisfies my fascination with clever gadgets!

Bosch is a well-known brand that I have used in the past and currently have a few items from presently.

I used to own a similar device a couple of years ago but it was a very basic version of this.

This laser is very easy to use and it makes jobs so much more easier and saves a lot of time! I’m currently in the process of turning my attic into a bedroom and this has been a massive help!

To measure, press the red button in the middle once to turn the laser on, then press again when the laser is pointed at the at the required place to record the distance.

This takes x2 AAA batteries which are provided with the device which is great – saves me having to go out and buy some more!
It is very quick to power on once the button is pressed – turns on and gets through the loading screen within a second or two.

The laser is very bright and can easily be noticed, even in a well-lit room. This way, it can be focused on a specific point and you can exactly tell the distance between objects.
In terms of accuracy, it is extremely accurate when measuring. The device can also take into account its own length and can take it away from the overall measurement if needs be.
The measurement type can be cycled between length, area, volume etc which can be very useful.

It is very light and small enough to fit inside pockets which means there’s potential to misplace it.

The manual is pretty thick but if people get put off, I have added some pictures of the manual which show exactly what each button does and a page about the specifications of the device, which should hopefully be useful to others.

Most of us will have seen gadgets such as this used by estate agents, and I would credit them with having greatly improved the accuracy of agents’ details.

Besides measuring linear distance, this laser measure can also provide instant read-outs on area and volume of an enclosed space — e.g. a room. It can also add and subtract values, and measure a desired distance as you walk towards or away from a fixed point, using the ‘continuous measurement’ function.

There are some other sophistications too, such as including or excluding its own length, and its memory store of the last ten measurements, even after the instrument has been turned off and later back on again. Some of the accessories that can be bought as extras (in particular, the laser target plate) would be useful for certain applications, especially outdoors, or if you need to measure spaces bounded by glass. (‘Useful’, not ‘vital’, as in many cases you can improvise with, e.g. a pad of notepaper.)

The instrument itself, loaded with two AAA batteries, plus its carry case, weighs 97 grams. At 161 grams, the 32 language instruction book weighs two-thirds more! Fortunately, the English language instructions run to only 13 150 mm x 105 mm pages, plus three pages of diagrams.

You can always rely on Bosch products, always well made and work well. This Bosch laser measure lives up to the usual Bosch high standard. The fact that it measure up to 50 metres means that whether you’re a keen DIYer or a professional this will meet all your needs.

I may be being dim, but the instructions are not quite right.
It says click once on the measure button to take the measurement – but I appear to need to click twice.

Otherwise – it measures, it has laser light, it is in standard Bosch green, is very light and comes with a handy carrying pouch.

Great little device, and really much smaller than I was expecting it to be (it fits in the hand like an old candy-bar mobile phone). It can measure length, area or volume, and stores the last few readings so that you go back through them. In the length mode you can either include the length of the unit or not; by default it adds the length so that you can have the back rested against the wall and then it allows for the laser being mounted at the front. You can also measure a distance in sections and have the unit add them up, and you can also get it to subtract to readings. Altogether it seems very well thought out in the user interface, and it’s very small and easy to carry.

I was pleased to sample and test this Bosch Laser Universal Distance 50.
Having used Bosch products previously, I have always been impressed with their robustness and reliability.

This device can be put to a whole host of different uses and I particularly liked that it can be deployed
all around the home for measuring distances between walls, cupboard units, height in fact the whole
range of length, volume or area.
It can recall previous measurements which are incidentally all presented in metric.
It can store up to 10 measurements and can even add or subtract from others.

The device comes with a set of batteries, so it is ready to go and with a small carry case for it ti be stored.
The measurements are displayed on an easily visible screen.

I can state that it provided accurate measurements right across the home including the garage.
For those who are house hunting, with the vendors permission of course, you can check the size of rooms.

In operation, I found it easy to use, but for those with bigger hands, you have to be a little more careful
as the activation button, whilst in the centre of the device, is a little small. Not a big issue but one
observation I thought I would mention.

Overall, a quality device and it certainly takes away all the hassle with holding measuring tapes!

Appareil lger, intuitif et facile d’utilisation ! Trs bon rapport qualit-prix ! Je le recommande.

Pour ne plus avoir galrer avec un mtre ce tlmtre est super ! Il est petit donc facile ranger. Il est lger … un peu plus lourd avec les 2 piles videmment mais a reste correct. L’cran est de trs bonne qualit. Le faisceau est plutt fin (sans danger sauf si exposition dlibre) et se voit bien (plus difficile en plein soleil videmment). La mise en route et la prise en main sont faciles (plusieurs fonctionnalits bien explique dans le manuel). Les mesures sont trs prcises (mieux de le poser pour viter de bouger pendant la mesure). Concernant le prix (environ 90), a me semble tre un prix plutt correct au vu du prix de ceux sur pieds.

Un trs bon tlmtre qui a vitre remplac mon ancien de marque gnrique.
Dj une prcision de 3 chiffres aprs la virgule le rend trs pratique pour des mesures au cm prs.
La mise en service et l’utilisation sont trs facile et intuitif.
Un dtail trs bien pens il peut prendre la mesure soit tout l’avant du tlmtre soit tout l’arrire. Pas de risque d’approximation ou de confusion avec.
Dernier point trs positif : la qualit de l’cran qui est trs lisible. A voir par contre si cet cran rsiste bien.

Dans un format trs rduit, lger, facile glisser dans une poche ou la ceinture ce tlmtre Bosch est prcis et permet d’effectuer en un instant des mtrs de surfaces ou volumes. L’appui du fond de l’appareil sur la surface de dpart est le rglage par dfaut mais d’autres possibilits sont offertes ce qui en fait un outil polyvalent pour des mesures rapides et prcises. Un outil prcieux aux applications frquentes.

Ce petit tlmtre Bosch est vendu avec sa pochette de rangement et de transport. Simple utiliser, lger et bien lisible, il devient vite indispensable ds que l’on veut amnager / emmnager / rnover…

Les deux piles AAA sont fournies par Bosch et la notice en franais est claire. Les mesures sont obtenues par un laser rouge qu’il faut utiliser avec prudence car comme tout laser il peut tre dangereux pour les yeux.
Les mesures sont obtenues selon les rglages depuis le clavier et visibles par des symboles l’cran : longueur, surface, volume, mais aussi longueur variable. Cette fonction est trs pratique quand on doit installer quelque chose une distance prcise : on dplace le tlmtre jusqu’ trouver la bonne place.

Dieses Lasermeterma ist wahnsinnig praktisch. Niemand muss mehr auf die Leiter, um die Hhe bis zur Decke zu messen und man muss auch nicht mehr auf dem Boden rumkriechen um das Meterma weiter zu schieben etc.
Hier wird ganz einfach der Abstand zwischen dem Gert (inklusive Gert und exklusive Gert) und einem ausgesandten Lichtpunkt gemessen. Das heit aber auch, wo kein Punkt auf einem “Hindernis”, da auch kein Messen mglich. Im Garten muss man dann eben eine Latte in den Boden stecken oder einen Stein hinstellen etc. bzw. Hindernisse (Pflanzen) weg binden oder entfernen …
Das Gert ist sehr leicht zu bedienen. Mit ein bisschen Herumprobieren versteht man die Arbeitsweise recht schnell und braucht noch nicht mal eine Gebrauchsanweisung 😀
Neben einfachen Lngenmaen ermittelt das Gert auch das Flchenma (Quadratmeter) und das Volumen, was wir, zum Renovieren eher nicht brauchen.
Es gibt 10 Speicherpltze.
Tasche und Batterien liegen bei – Preis: Bosch eben, aber durchaus akzeptabel, finde ich, bedenkt man die Genauigkeit und die Einfachheit von Messungen 🙂

Verarbeitung, Materialanmutung, Handhabung und Funktionalitt sind ganz hervorragend. Auch bei der Ausstattung wurde nicht gespart. 2x AA Batterien sind dabei, soda man sofort loslegen kann. Auch an eine robuste Grteltasche wurde gedacht.

Der Messbereich hat ein Maximum von 50 Meter und dabei eine Messgenauigkeit von bis zu +/- 2 mm laut Hersteller.

Ver Knopfdruck knnen die diversen Modi durchgeschaltet werden. Wie allgemein blich, bietet das Gert folgende Modi:

-Distanzmessung
-Dauermessung
-Addition
-Subtraktion
-Flche
-Volumen

Dabei knnen bis zu 10 Messungen gespeichert und spter noch mal abgerufen oder gelscht werden, soda man nicht immer Stift und Papier dabeihaben mu.

Das 1,4 Zoll Farbdisplay ist zudem sehr gut ablesbar.

Insgesamt betrachtet eine hervorragende und einfache Lsung, soda ich angemessene fnf Sterne vergebe, zumal das Preis- / Leistungsverhltnis ebenso ganz hervorragend ist, denn vergleichbare Gerte von Stanley kosten ca. 30 mehr, wenngleich deren Gerte auch noch Handy-App Funktionalitt bieten, was aber aufpreispflichtig ist.

Der Bosch-Entferungsmesser ist nicht ganz billig, aber berzeugt ind er Praxis.
Zwei AAA Batterien oder Akkus braucht das Gert und es liegen auch welche bei um so sofort los zu legen!
Ansonsten gibt san Zubehr eine Grteltasche mit Klett um das Gert griffbereit und geschtzt zu haben.
Das Gert selbst ist leicht, liegt gut in der Hand und besonders die gummierte Flche macht es einfach das Gert zu halten und irgendwo abzusttzen ohne etwas zu verkratzen.
Meine Testmessungen ergaben dass das Gert recht zuverlssig ist und fr fast alle Untergrnde geeignet ist.
Besonders nett, dass man einstellen kann ob die Lnge des Gerts mitgelesen wird oder nicht.
Durch die Knpfe lsst sich alles schnell einstellen. Rechenfunktionen etc brauche ichpersnlich nicht.
Mit Handschuhen ist es nicht ganz so gut zu bedienen, geht aber noch. Es ist fast Selbsterklrend. Etwas strend ist dennoch, dass es eine fast 2 cm Dicke Anleitung in zig Sprachen gibt, obwohl der Teil den man braucht weniger als 20 Seiten sind. Ich hab keine Lust eine so dickes Buch aufzuheben.
Alles in allem ein Prima Gert und sein Geld wert!

Aktuell baue ich zusammen mit meinem Vater ein groes Gewchshaus. Dabei sind natrlich sehr przise Messungen im Vorfeld ntig.

Mit dem Bosch Laser Entfernungsmesser sind die Messungen im Handumdrehen erledigt.

Die Bedienung des Entfernungsmesser, ist sehr bersichtlich und extrem leicht zu bedienen. Die Zahlen lassen sich auf dem Display sehr gut ablesen.

Je nach Anwendung gibt es verschiedene Modis. Eine : Lngen-, Quadratmeter-, Messung, sowie eine Volumenmessung des Weiteren eine kontinuierliche Messung.

Auch bei Tageslicht drauen im Garten ist der Laser sehr gut zu erkennen. Messbereiche von bis zu 50 Metern, ist kein Problem. Insgesamt sehr przise und arbeitserleichternd.
