The GLM 50 C measures distances, angles and helps level within a working range of 50 m to within 1.5 mm. The measured data can then be transferred to the GLM MeasureOn app via Bluetooth.

I bought this for our design firm. I like the quality of this but it is not for beginners.
Does what it’s supposed to. Easy to use and several handy functions
I used this to create floor plans for estate agents and homeowners and it works perfectly. I tried the app, but that’s just too cumbersome and bulky; perhaps if one used a large tablet but app not good using Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. But tool is super!
As an interior designer this is a must have for me. This Bosh Bluetooth laser measure is the business!
Small, lightweight and simple to use. It connect to my device easily and assists me to have pre measured floor plans in no time. Arrived in good time. Highly recommend!
Works well, and as accurate as the manual. Beam seems very strong in daylight.
A delightful product to use, it’s quite fast, near instant and it takes batteries, so much better than those USB six month to death models and it seems quite good on batteries too.
I absolutely love the rotation feature.

What I liked The compactness easy to put in your pocket or bag or the gloves box of your car but don’t leave it there due to excessive heat during the summer months , it’s well made and the booklet that explains how to use it and the technical information on the screen. It’s easy to use,just use the function button then press the +or – button and select the function you want. Then press the laser activation button and there you go. The booklet is quite thick but it covers 36 languages, there only 10 in English. They screen is clear a cool blue and easy to understand once you have read the manual, the colour of the unit itself is also blue with a rubberized black edging to assist with holding the unit in your hand . It’s got bluetooth feature that I have used once, but I have to familiarize myself again to explain it but it usefull as in the measurement are recorded on your phone and if you have a note pad there as well so you will have a electronic recording as well as a hard copy if you want to use this tool this way. The measuring unit has seven functions I won’t explain them because they are in the instructions manual. It comes in a carry case that’s very convenient and useful. When not using it for any long periods of time take out the batteries which will extend the life of the batteries and avoid the risk of the batteries leaking into the unit with the affect of damage to the measuring system. Overall very useful if you need to find the area for the new carpet that your going to buy, or too work out the number of kitchen cabinets you will need to replace the old units, or the area of your ceiling if your going to buy new plasterboard for replacement of old or the height of a building . Just useful for places where a tape measure just can’t go. Dislikes None yet but i am looking.
I am new to this career and this laser measure is best purchase I have brought. It is easy to use, no need to write the instructions leaflet. Just put the batteries in and away you go. Not sure about Bluetooth Connectivity I will need to look into that. I never leave home without it.
As a Building Surveyor it’s ideal.
Compact lightweight, good quality build and not brimming with butons and lights so that’s a result.
Just need to get up to speed with al the things it can do ! 🙂
Used this for working out square meterage and the length of long stud work so much more accurate then a tape
The product is an excellent choice for anyone requiring a device for quick and accurate measurements, the only let down I found was the battery dies quite quickly which is very disappointing. After I was finished measuring out a 3 bed semi including doors and windows, the battery’s needed replacing.
Was amazed how accurate this bosch measure is.
Also the Bluetooth app surprised me how well it worked with the rough drawing I put in. Excelle
A true workhorse of accuracy. An exceptionally useful and dependable tool.
This works really well. Have been using it throughout a self build house extension along with ther ,ensuring tools – have found to be really accurate and easy to use. Don’t think I’ve used all the functions but it has many easy to use ones – have used both indoors and out doors on fence installations and works really well.
If your after a laser measure can’t go wrong with this – easy to use, well made, robust and compact.

I bought the Bosch measure to replace a cheapo 20 “amazon special” laser measure that went missing and having used the Bosch would not go back. I’ve been using the unit for a few weeks now to measure up commercial buildings for refurbishment and very happy with the unit and the bluetooth link.
Likes: (so many but the main points)
-Green laser works in bright environments and reads much faster than the previous red laser I owned.
-Clear easily readable screen which rotates to whichever orientation you are using the unit
-Bluetooth link to phone with the Bosch app makes it simple to sketch floorpans directly to a phone rather than lots of different sketches and paper notes
-The features – aside from the usual length/area you can do continuous measurement, stakeout and indirect measurements which I rarely use but incredibly useful whenever the need arises.
-USB-C rechargeable so no more running out then trying to find AAA batteries. There is the ability to use AAA batteries but I just use the rechargeable pack and USB lead
Dislikes:
-Maybe the price (but its worth it if used frequently)
-The floorpans in the app are limited. Hopefully this will be improved in future updates.
Overall this is a fantastic laser measure and well worth the upgrade from the basic red laser measure I used to have. The bluetooth link for recording measurements and floorpans means I am no longer looking for that piece of paper. The measure is also fantastic when being used on its own, Bosch have nailed it with the QOL features like automatically rotating the screen to keep it readable when you hold it on its side so no more measure/rotate/measure/rotate when working. I would definitely recommend if you can justify the price

Placed the order and it arrived on time as expected.
This tool is brilliant, it has a Bluetooth option which allows the unit to be activated by the users mobile device. (When setting out alone for instance)
Bosch have released an app for their Bluetooth units which allows users to set out plans of rooms to be measured, the user draws on the screen with their finger and the app squares the sketch then measurements can be added to the diagram. The app also imports photographs (to which dimensions can be added)
There are other uses for the app but I’ve not ventured any further.
The unit itself has numerous modes which will calculate square areas and room volumes, it even has a setting that allows setting out equidistant fence posts or other work that requires multiple set distances to be achieved.
It even works as a spirit level and angle meter.
It retains the last 30 measurements too.
The only CON I have found so far is the case that is supplied.
I find the case to be slightly small and it fits the unit very snugly. Because of this, it takes more than a moment to stow the unit with one hand when the case is on users belt.
To sum it up..
I am more than happy with this unit, I love the Bluetooth connectivity and the options and additions it brings.
The various modes on the unit and the ease of use have been both surprising and amazing.

Needed this for our site surveys. really pleased with it. Bluetooth works fine but do you really have to have it?
I use this for everything atm, even measuring stuff that I could use a tape measure for. It is such a handy tool. And for 150 it’s amazing
Greta , fast and accurate. Rotating image to help you read the measurement is a great idea and the built in spirit level is genius. A fantastic tool :not too many bells and whistles that you can’t work out how to use it . Definelty a pro tool that works like it should.

As an electrician working from plans this is a very useful device to use .
Out of the box the Inclinometer is 0.7 out however once calibrated that goes down to 0.1, which is extremely good for this price point given that it’s an add on feature of the laser measure.

Great bit of kit from bosch very accurate but for some reason it’s delivered as a bladed article from amazon so need to show id to recieve the item

Yes,for building survey and engineering woks. We have to handle like an egg when you repalace the batteries. We don’t keep them in show room. We take them to the site work. Manufacturers should undrstand the basic things in order satisfy the cutomers. Also, pouch is too small and very tight. Did they know, how meny times we open the pouch during our working hours !!!
If they can correct the mistakes I will give 5 stars.

I’m a surfacing foreman for probably the most well known surfacing company in the uk , predominantly nightshift , use the Glm50 c for taking average widths of carriageway , so I can calculate tonnage required for site. take widths on the Glm 50 c then download them and either send them to my phone or tablet through excel and excel works it out within a few clicks . Usually I’d have to take a width every 10metres write it down in a book, add them all together manually (time consuming) then get an average from there , the accuracy is bang on and it makes my job 10times easier , cracking bit of kit , highly recommended

Works well. Easy to use for the basics, bit of learning for other functions. Nice and small too. Connected via Bluetooth to phone, tablet and laptop. Works well with the floor planning software I’m using (you can download the Bosch app too)

It is lightweight but feels solidly built, and works straight out of the box using the included 2xAAA batteries. It accurately takes measurement from a variety of surfaces and can be set to measure from the back, front or middle of the device with a dedicated button for this setting.
I have checked the measurements with a tape measure to ensure it was calibrated correctly and it is accurate (Bosch quote a tolerance of +/- 1.5mm which is fine for most applications). The screen is clear, easy to read and displays the angle you are holding the device. Navigating the menu is straight forward (read the manual for what each icon represents) using the Function key and left and right arrows.
Pairing the Bluetooth to my phone was easy. I have not used the Bosch app but have used another floor planning app and the measurements transfer seamlessly to that. The storage pouch is a nice extra.
