Bosch Professional GAS 25 L SFC Corded 240 V Wet/Dry Dust Extractor – Blue
Bosch Professional GAS 25 L SFC: A Compact, Lightweight Dust Extractor
Small, powerful and very handy: The GAS 25 L SFC Professional is intended for professional users, who travel a lot and work at the customer’s premises. The particularly compact design makes this tool easy to transport and, since it weighs just 12.7 kg, it is also very easy to load. The wet/dry dust extractor with a container volume (net) of 20 L or 16 L with water, is equipped with the semi-automatic filter cleaning system SFC and in accordance with the EU standard for user protection, is designed for dust class L. It is therefore suitable for extracting soft wood dusts, such as spruce, fir, pine and corian dust. With this tool, workshops will be able to meet the increasingly high requirements for occupational health and safety effortlessly. Professionals will no longer be bothered by dust as they work.
Powerful 1200 W Turbine for High Suction
The GAS 25 L SFC Professional is equipped with an enhanced filter system, which is located in the upper part of the suction head outside the dirt trap area and the water fill level line. Stones and other foreign objects can no longer destroy the filter or damage the turbine. The integrated water fill stop also protects the filter and extends its lifetime considerably by automatically shutting down when the container is filled during wet extraction work. The powerful 1200 W turbine also generates high suction force. The integrated electromagnetic Plus-Clean-System ensures that the dust is shaken out of the filters very thoroughly and gently, thanks to the large distance between the individual folds. The GAS 25 L SFC Professional is also supplied with two 0.5 m long suction tubes, a 3 m long hose, a multi-purpose nozzle, polyester filter and a coarse dirt nozzle.
Compact Design
The GAS 25 L SFC professional from Bosch is a user-friendly tool, not only due to its compact design and low weight of 12.7 kg. The filters can also be easily replaced: The user simply folds up the housing cover and pulls out the filter without causing dust to swirl around. During wet extraction work, the tool automatically shuts down off when the container is full. If the dust extractor is connected to a power tool, it switches on automatically when the power tool is switched on, thanks to the remote automatic switching. When the power tool is switched off, the GAS 25 L SFC Professional wet/dry dust extractor continues to run for approximately seven seconds, until the hose is thoroughly drained. The 25 L container does not have any edges and is therefore very easy to empty.

Brilliant ! I use it with my Bosch professional sander and it works a treat (and the garage is dust free !!) I only up cycle furniture but it was definitely worth the investment to me as I don’t need to wear a mask, get covered in sanding dust and have to clean everything in the surrounding area anymore. A bit noisy but then again so is the sander ! and as the Bosch professional sander takes less time then I get the job done quicker ! win win.
A very powerful suction and easy to carry around the site. Normally as I’m using the power tools there’s dust all over but with this the dust is kept to a minimum. So glad I got i
Excellent vacuum for either workshop or site. Great power and holds a lot before needing emptying. Connects easily with a large range of Bosch professional tools. Haven’t used the wet function yet as I have a separate vacuum for that so can’t comment on how well that performs.
The Bosch GAS25 is basically a re-badged Starmix which is a good thing; Starmix are German made dust extractors. I bought my GAS 25 back in the day when they were M rated for extraction. That was almost 14 years ago. It is still working perfectly which is a testament to the very durable build quality. It is particularly robust and often used as a saw horse. It remains my go to portable extractor over the years. It’s not flashy, doesn’t have the highest airflow but it is very durable and just keeps working.
For those that want to add a Systainer/L-boxx: see the Starmix UNIFIX Adapter plate
Excellent quality as always from professional Bosch equipment.
I read the reviews and although some reviewers said “it’s just a vacuum cleaner” I disagree.
For me it’s a game changer. No dust, even when sanding very fine gesso. Which used to be horribly dusty. Turns on when the equipment starts up. I very pleased indeed with it.
This bosch vacuum is ready good it’s a lot better than my current one. The filler cleaning on it is great. And stop start is really good as well . Brilliant for the price

I’ve had one of these for 6 years and it’s still going strong despite plenty of abuse. Suction is strong and the motor has taken plenty of abuse and yet still runs.
The bags can be had for about 4 each and have a very large capacity, about 3 or 4 times that of a henry. You can buy zipped bags or if crafty cut the bag open to empty and then stich it shut again.
The post bag filter is tough paper fibre encased in plastic and i’ve never bothered replacing it, I just wash it in soapy water and then let it dry. They’re about 60 for a replacement new.
You’re supposed to buy a plastic post bag filter if using in wet mode, but I don’t bother and just use the fibre one being careful not to overfill with water or spill it. Works a treat.
The power dial has 4 settings: off, on, power takeoff and ‘thump’ mode
Thump mode bangs the filter somehow so that fine dust falls off and allows it regain suction.
Power takeoff overruns by a few seconds to continue clearing dust from the tool/hose after turing off the attached tool.
I’ve used this unit to help with:
1) repoint my house (fitted to an angle grinder) – filled many bags with dust
2) sand my decking
3) decorate my house and stripping old paint
4) attached to a mitre saw
5) and general cleaning up duties

Got this as a dedicated vac for the mitre saw. And it’s great for the task. It’s worth addressing the negative comments here which are unfair and uninformed. Firstly, one reviewer states with this vac, Bosch are trying to be like Festool? Err…no. The GAS 25 and GAS 20 are Bosch’s budget vacs. The GAS 35 L is the model in the price ballpark of Festool vacs and it includes tool storage and the ability to attach an L-Boxx to the top etc like the Festool’s. If you want a Festool but are only prepared to pay for a Bosch GAS 25 L, well, you get what you pay for!! The other low score review states this is just a “Hoover” or a “Henry”. Well, the Bosch Gas 25 has a larger capacity, is a proper wet and dry vac, has auto filter cleaning and a power tool socket for auto starting when power tools are plugged into it. Hoovers and Henry’s don’t. The reviewer also states you have to buy attachments to connect to power tools. You don’t. The vac already comes with Bosch’s rubber power tool adapter on the end.
All in all, for a basic shop/site vac, the GAS 25 is worth considering. I’ve found it completely reliable.

Worth the price to have an efficient filter system. I like the feature that you plug in your sander so that it starts the vacuum when you start sanding
