I bought this as my old fidge freezer was on its last legs. I’m low on space in my home so I had to raise a kitchen cabinet to ensure this fitted. I’m glad I did. Not only do I now have a sizable third drawer I also have an extra 5cm wider in all the drawers. This makes a massive difference. I used to have to take items out of packaging to fit into my old freezer.
The fidge freezer is practically silent. I can’t say I’ve even heard it once.
Let me go a little bit off topic here, but bear with me because I get there in the end. I used to work for a large manufacturer that advertised their products were suitable for use in all washing machines. To prove their point they had a lab with a representative machine from every manufacturer. On the odd occasion when I worked late, I would bring some washing with me and over a period of several months, I tried the thirty or so machines they had. Without a doubt the best machine in the line-up was the Candy. It was quietest and best engineered of the bunch. And judging by the amount of use it got, so did everybody else. When my twenty year old Bosch washing machine came up for renewal I decided on a pairing of a new fridge and washer, with Candy products. I cannot say either are poor quality, but neither are they particularly outstanding. Neither are certainly not the Candy quality I expected, and yes, I am a little disappointed.
I recently bought a Braun electric shaver and was immediately disappointed with the build quality. That’s because Braun is no longer Bruan, it’s Proctor & Gambol. What you have in fact got, is a cheapo Proctor & Gambol product. It wasn’t until I read the user-manual for the Candy washer, that I realised the company is now owned by Hoover. Which is a manufacturer that builds renowned budget products for decidedly budget conscious consumers. So what I have here is not the Candy at all, that I was expecting. It’s a Hoover. Would I buy Candy again? No. I don’t want a Hoover in disguise. The same as I don’t want Proctor & Gambol in disguise when I buy Braun. I can see a future where we will be returning to stores to have a look before we buy. If the stores offer free next day delivery, so much the better.
No space for a full sized fridge freezer in my kitchen so this was perfect.
You lose a bit of space in the freezer, but it has drawers rather than shelves so everything is easy to get at. The fridge seems just as big as my old under counter one.
Some of the reviews say its a bit noisy, but I’ve not noticed that.
I was under the impression from the pics that this was a 50/50 fridge freezer, but I would say it’s more 60/40, however, I was not using the freezer space so much in my old Candy appliance anyway, so it was not a disappointment at all. Had it nearly a week now and works perfectly, very good value for money. Would highly recommend.
I would have preferred a ‘Grey’ colour Fridge Freezer but only offered Black Only installed it yesterday so not had it long enough to give it good trial.
The only thing I dislike is I thought it had 4 compartments for freezer.only had 3.

I never knew Amazon sold large appliances. All the other big online retailers didn’t have any good priced Fridge Freezer in stock. Anyway I found this on Amazon and I’m really glad I bought it. We are on the first floor and they came and installed it for free and took away the packaging and my old broken one as well, at no additional cost. The Candy Fridge Freezer was really good value for money because the price I paid was the cheapest by far from any other online retailer and it was the best one in the price range.
Looks good as expected and described by seller, however took the place of a 13 years old fridge which was still working fine so… will see how this one is working in the next few months and will update review 🙂

Only one of two makes that produce this size so not much choice. Opted for Candy as Italian brand, subsidiary of Haier. Good looks clean lines just what was needed.
I don’t like the fact that it’s a little short for me opening the door but other than that it’s fine.
Fits in my tiny kitchen brilliantly. Just a perfect size and the deeper width and depth make this little fridge freezer super roomy and can accommodate a lot. I paid extra for it to be unpacked, put into place and all packaging taken away with the old appliance. Quick efficient and very polite guys. Thoroughly recommend.
Motor very noisy through vibration on the floor. also needed extra shelf which I purchased.

This item was ordered with free installation/removing of packaging. Can’t comment thus far on the fridge freezer because at 75 years and unable to lift large items I can’t use it! The delivery men x 2 refused to unpack/install saying that wasn’t included in the order. It was!
What do I do with a new fridge freezer stuck in the middle of the floor – which I cannot get to use – while the old one is unplugged/ready to go???
Phone call to amazon.co.uk results in this answer: ‘it will take 24-48 hours to get back to you’!!
Amazon – this is not an option.
UPDATE – problem now resolved by amazon and the product seems to work fine.

It’s great value for money, sometimes randomly has fits of being quite loud though. If it wasn’t for that it’d have 5 stars.
It’s a fridge-freezer and it cools things, not much else to it.
The delivery was appalling – it was “dumped” in the kitchen, still fully wrapped and we didn’t even know the men had left the building! It was left for disabled pensioners to remove the packaging and get into place – NOT what we expected at all
Sadly I found some damage to the side of the fridge at chest height. Didn’t notice until the lads put it in my lounge. The lads were great so no disrespect to them at all.
After a month or so you can hear the compressor run, quite an irritation!
Upon delivery it had scratches on the black paintwork particularly the door ?
This is a 50/50 fridge freezer! the freezer to me is not the same capacity as the fridge which I was a bit disappointed with but they all appear the same.
The fridge is a good size but came with only one shelf which limits the amount of product you can easily store. With these faults it still is a good fridge/freezer for two persons however any more and the freezer will be too small in my opinion.

Then, looking for a cheap blu ray, to add to an order I was putting together, the first one came up at 65.25 followed by another at 37.10 – in what universe are those cheap blu rays? So i’ve cancelled the entire order. I’m seriously considering cancelling Prime and having nothing more to do with Amazon – it’s just too much hassle. But the fridge is fine.
