I took a leap of faith on this one, and am not disappointed at all. My previous laptop was an Asus, and I was looking for another Asus but I also wanted an IPS screen. This laptop is fast, good storage, sets up in a minute, but you better like Microsoft because this is very geared to MS products like One Drive and Office 365. It suits me perfectly. Plus I got an additional 100 off from Amazon and honestly it was a great price for what you get. Recommend for anyone who works remotely, it’s perfect, lightweight, not flashy, and films look great on it. Good amount of USB ports, plus HDMI for screen so you can set up with a wireless keyboard, mouse etc.

Extremely simple to open the chassis and change. Literally 10 seconds to add another slot of Ram into the spare slot.
Bad things
It does come installed with Windows Home, but on a dodgy product key, have seen others in reviews say the same. However it is under 20 to purchase a windows home product key. Bit naughty really from them here and I expect this wasn’t a mistake.
American keyboard layout, but the give you some gummy English keys to put over it if it bothers you.
The up, down side arrows and the return key are goofy shapes and will take some getting used to.
The manual it comes with is an absolute joke, and they offer no proper user guide on their website, it’s not that important now but if there is ever a driver issue, or someone wants to muck around in the BIOS they have left unlocked, this sort f thing is very useful and I would have expected better documentation.
The answers to questions on this page have at least 2 things wrong:
1) It does come with a charger
2) It does only come with 8GB of Ram (as advertised)

I am still very happy with this purchase and maintain that it’;s excellent value for money but some more good / bad things
Good things: Honestly with the fans it is really making the most out of the cpu
Slightly annoying things
I still haven ‘t gotten used to some of the strange sizes for the keys. The number pad on the right is too small and the up down left right keys are weird shapes.
The indicative graphics performance for games, while conservative is overstated a bit. It claims to run witcher 3 on a low graphics settings. I don’t really play games much but I have been running divinity 2 on this which has lower performance specs, on it’s lowest settings the game can jam up and freeze when there is a lot going on on the screen.
GPU is soldered on – tjis is completely normal for laptops but i was hoping it wasn’t.
Nonetheless take into consideration the following:
It’s a bit noisy. It doesn’t bother me, but consider it.
The battery life is very short. Approximately a couple of hours if used intensely
If you do programming, the keyboard is not
very comfortable since the right shift key is short and the character is not present.
Nice laptop but only used a few times and the screen has gone blank so not able to use. Before this it was good for my daughter to do homework on and play games.
Excellent value for money, Premium built quality and has some features not usually found in this price range such as the Back-Lit keyboard. The only downside experienced while setting up was that it did not recognise the pre installed windows key, however after contacting Chuwi support I was provided with a new one.

Very good laptop considering the specs I bought an extra portable hard drive to keep it tidy..the order came on time and fast..for the price and specs this laptop is worth much more so grab it while you can..for use in editing software it may not do certain things as fast..but will still do the task. The backlight on keyboard is great and the keyboard skin to stop keyboard getting dirty is a fab extra to have.. make sure you get a legitimate Windows 10 key..and whatever else you need to work with this great laptop highly recommend.
The laptop was fast for basic work like I required and the screen has a 2k resolution which made the background and watching videos look amazingly pleasant during breaks. However over a short period of time the fans have started making a loud buzzing sound and does become annoying but other than that this laptop is well worth the money.
This is just the right size and works brilliantly for everything I do, from emails to playing games
I was impressed with how well it was packaged. I use the slip cover all the time. I didn’t need the extra floppy keyboard thingy, as, I found the @sign quite easily and when you’ve typed it a few times, it becomes natural.
The set up was very easy with Cortana talking me through the whole procedure.
It is so….quick, from switching on, to a working p.v. is almost instant. Very happy..
The battery has an excellent life, used it for nearly all day and still had life left.
So far can’t find anything negative.
Build quality is good, it looks and feels like a much more expensive laptop, and it comes with a keyboard overlay to account for having a USA keyboard layout – note, some fast touch typers may find this a pain. Battery life is OK, and the screen is excellent – very clear and bright. Sound quality is also very good for the money.
Setup process was simple to follow and worked a charm with no issues
Downloaded and installed MS Office (using a license I already had) and it runs very well so far.
All in all, a very good choice for a value for money school or simple Office laptop
