Excellent price – very fast delivery. Needed the item quickly to cut boards in the loft – did the job how it should. Highly recommend this product – no need to think twice if you need a saw this is the one.

    Such a breeze to use.
It came in a box which could be used for storage. But I tend to leave my tools loose on a shelf.

I have a few projects like boarding the loft to do. So this thing is great. It’s lightweight and sturdy. Which is what you want with a power tool.

The laser is interesting. And I’m looking forward to doing some big cuts. I tested the saw out on a piece of wood and it was a breeze.

I found some of the other reviews confusing. It comes with 6 blades. 2x wood. 2x wood/plastic. 2x tile/backerboard/cement. As written on the blades themselves. See picture. There is no hss blade. Which in the instructions says not to use.

I’m left handed. I feel the start buttons better suit right handed but got used to it pretty quick.

The cable is long enough. And it does have some fancy tools/add-ons which I want to try. Specifically the width guide.

Definitely a thumbs up from me.

    Such a breeze

A very good bit of kit ideal for professional or the DIY user. We should all take note that most circular saws rotate in a clockwise direction which is important to remember to when trying to get a clean cut. When cutting wood make a initial cut about a quarter of the thickness of piece and then make your main cut, this method prevents blow out or splintering.
In long cuts is 8x4ft sheet only cut half way through ( for a rough cut ) then second finishing cut. This will prevent putting the saw under too much strain casing overheating or jamming. I would like to see an additional handle to give better control, as if like me you are right hand dominant you will tend to pull to the right easy to correct with 2 handle operarion.

I needed a smaller and cordless circular saw than my mains powered one, to cut timber on a flat roof I was building. I finally decided on this one and have been very happy with it. It’s well made and has cut everything I have thrown at it. I would have preferred a hard case instead of the bag, but I guess you can’t have everything!

To be honest this purchase was my first venture into power saw usage I was a little nervous of the saw and using it for the first time. However it was extremely easy to use and very simple to operate. Just got to remember to keep hand, fingers etc well away. Really cut through the plywood very well. Excellent product I would highly recommend.

This is great! A lot better than a jigsaw for cutting straight lines, particularly in awkward places. I used it to cut through 18mm ply flooring in the back of a lorry and it was at its limit, jamming more than once, but backing off and taking it easy got me through it. The laser is battery powered, which is annoying – I left mine on by mistake and had to change the batteries – in the process, I’ve somehow set the laser off to one side and I can’t see how to get it straight again, but it’s still perfectly usable.

So far, this saw was used to cut softwood timber fencing panels, and 3mm plastic cladding sheets. No issues, easy to use, the built in laser guide helps a lot.
I would recommend this saw to anyone wanting to do DIY jobs at home for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, no dust bag is provided, which would have been the icing on the cake.

Really good little saw, I have cut down doors and have used it quite a lot since buying it, only one thing when you need to fit the guide you have to use the Allen key it would have been so much easier to have had a butterfly bolt, laser is a nice touch, very happy with it.

Easy and safe to use with a laser guide to ensue that you stay on course. The dust extraction duct is adjustable and its lightness make one-handed use a safe option. I’m really impressed!

I am putting up blinds in the house and needed a tool that could trim them down to size in order to fit the windows. Wanted something that would be good for all types of different jobs around the house. Bought a circular saw as I have always wanted one.
Decided to go for this product after reading the reviews and comparing with other similar products, this is not too heavy, easy to hold and so simple to use.

Very pleased with this saw. Although it’s quite big it’s well balanced and sits in the hand comfortably. Only used it once so far cutting 25mm pine and it was ideal. The big surprise was that the laser line was spot on. I’ve never trusted a laser before but out of the box this was perfect. Bonus. Have just killed my second worx saw and fancied a change. Wouldn’t go back to worx again. I’m a bit mean knocking 1 star off but a case for the saw would have been handy.

Golden Review Award: 74 From Our UsersGreat little circular saw, very versatile and powerful.
Great to be able to go to the garage and use the chop saw when needed but to be able to take that saw around with you when you can’t take the wood or tile to the garage is a winner.
I like that you get three blades with this out of the box for different materials and cuts (nice, fine cut on timber, even with the rough cut blade on). Very easy to set up and if you don’t want too much of a mess, you can always attach the vacuum parts to it. Simple to get constant angled cuts and the laser makes following that pencil line a breeze.

I have been reluctant to purchase a circular saw due to a previous family accident.
But I needed one, so chose this model as I wanted something that would keep my hands well away from the blade.
It seems to work well easily cutting 1″ ply, cutting much faster and straighter than the jigsaw I was formerly using. It sometimes gets caught on the wood so I need to twist is slightly to restart. It feels safer in use than the usual circular saw design although you have to remain vigilant for plunge cuts as you hold the guard away, quite close to the spinning blade.
As it is made in China I was expecting it to be cheaper, but I didn’t find anything similar at a better price.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersSo been looking at getting one of these for a while and looked at several, including reviews. This was on a price reduction and cheaper than the 500W model. It arrived the following day on standard postage, which was a bonus. Not used it in anger yet but fitted a wood blade to try it out on scrap wood. Blade fitment was easy but you need to be aware the fixing bolt is LEFT HAND THREAD. Safety features are good, spring drop down guard and duel buttons for starting. On cutting wood it worked a treat but some people might find it heavy after a while. It’s worth noting it has a decent cut depth, some other makes are not so good. An additional attatchable handle would have been useful so you could hold it firmly with both hands. Also I noted the other model came with a carry case, this one didn’t but I have ordered a 24″ canvas tool bag to keep it in. The saw was supplied with 6 blades, 2 x wood, 2 x soft metal and 2 x ceramics which was good and it looks as it replacements are readily available. Overal the build quality looks pretty good. I have given it a rating of 4 only because I haven’t used it a great deal.

Golden Review Award: 30 From Our UsersTIP: the laser already has batteries installed, so you receive a spare set. To replace you unscrew the top. When replacing the top be careful to line up the catch otherwise you will break it.
TIP: when installing the blades you only have to remove the screw, the washer and the brushed steel washer with the lock symbols. The blade goes on top of the removable spacer be careful not to lose these pieces.

I bought this as a replacent to my old conventional circular. Something blew inside.

I opted for a mini as it was something new and I loved the fact it has a laser sight. Probably the hardest part of using a power saw is lining it up correctly. This laser gives you reassurance and lets you get the job done quicker.

I was really pleased it came with a handful of blades so you can get straight to work

    Setup is easy,

    Install blade,
Insert dust extractor port if using
    Insert saw guide rail.
    Plug it in

Adjust depth and angle of the blade.

    Start cutting.

The blades are sharp and strong and made quick work of the wood I was cutting.

The saw is relatively loud, so I would recommend using ear protection along with necessary eye protection.

It is a similar weight to my old one. Like most power tools they arent light but once it is cutting most of the weight is taken by the wood.

It’s a very handy saw that is a welcome addition to my man cave.

Powerful circular saw, the laser is a bonus.

Golden Review Award: 33 From Our UsersFantastic little circular saw. Saves getting the big saw out for smaller jobs.

Seems fairly powerfully enough, cut through floorboards no problem. Nice laser beam too so you can follow a straight line. Also you can adjust the cutting depth and the curing angle which will come in handy for future jobs.

Seems really good quality. New discs are easily available, just make sure you get the ring size adapter to fit this saw. You can connect a vacuum to the saw too which sucks all the wood dust up leaving a mess free work place.

Great piece of kit and would recommend, does the job perfectly, nice size too for smaller jobs. Lightweight compared to the full sized saws.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very powerful saw. Ideal for smaller jobs. I used for floorboards.

Golden Review Award: 36 From Our UsersFantastic little circular saw. Saves getting the big saw out for smaller jobs.

Golden Review Award: 34 From Our UsersAfter getting sick of using hand saws and then getting a loan of an electric saw from my father in law, when I handed it back I decided to go for 1 of my own as I hate using the hand saw. I’ve got a few things to do in the garden (new gate to build etc) I chose this. Thought it was cool to have a laser guide attached to it (pictured) which probably won me over plus the fact that it is a wired saw you don’t need to worry about batteries being charged which I much prefer.

The saw comes with 6 different blades (2x Cement, 2x Wood and 2x Wood/Plastic), a couple of which I probably will not use and I generally only cut wood, but they might come in handy for me 1 day.
Take note, wear safety gloves as the instructions tell you as the blades are really sharp and will not take much to cut your hand open.

Also remember that when attaching the blades to screw the blade in anti-clockwise rather than the normal screwing a normal screw clock wise. Don’t sit there for 2 minutes like I did thinking the threads were busted from the get go.

The function of the saw feels very smooth and it has a decent handle for gripping while sawing. The scale ruler also come in very handy and screws tight so it won’t move while working although this screws in clock wise this time.

    Very happy with my purchase.

Got sick of using hand saws – Just the ticket for me
