I’ve had all the “Top” brands over the years and one thing that is clear is that all dishwashers pack up after approx 5 years. Based on this I thought I would take a punt on this unheard of make and save a lot of money.
Currently, it’s working out well. The dishwasher installs like every other dishwasher. It works like every other dishwasher and the removal of debris, dirt and general cleaning is the same as every other dishwasher.
I like the fact that it opens itself after washing as well. Sentient technology at’s it’s best although it would be better if it put the dishes away as well!
We are almost up to a year now and it’s going strong. If it lasts the anticipated 5 years than it’s been worth it.
We always had a full size dishwasher in the past, but when we moved into a newer property a few years ago the old dishwasher was left behind and we decided that as there were only three of us, it probably wasn’t worth the expense of installing another one in the new property and so commenced a few years of hand washing with varying results and a drainer constantly spilling over with crockery. I hadn’t even considered a small dishwasher like this, simply because I didn’t know such a thing existed, so when I stumbled across it on Amazon, I thought it might just be worth a punt. I’m so glad I did, the results from this dishwasher are outstanding, the cups and glasses in particular come out clean, dry and absolutely smear free to a level that really can’t be achieved by hand washing. There are a sufficient amount of programmes to suit the various tasks you might want to throw at it and all perform very well. It only has one rack, however there is ample space to cater for an average two to three person household, cutlery, plates, bowls, cups and glasses. I generally tend to wash my pans by hand as these do take up a lot of room on the rack, however they can be washed in the dishwasher should you choose to do so and they come out just as clean as everything else. This dishwasher can be sited on a work surface and connected to a tap with an additional connector (not supplied, but easily and cheaply resourced) and although it works very well this way, I chose to hide mine in a kitchen unit and plumb it directly into a mains supply, this also virtually eliminated any sound when the washer was going through its cycle. I do use Finish products as recommended by the manufacturer and have consistently good results, however I’m sure there are other cleaners out there that would perform equally well. Overall, I’m really pleased with my purchase and wouldn’t hesitate recommending to other potential buyers.
I’m extremely impressed with this dishwasher from COMFEE, a brand I haven’t heard of before. It’s a perfect fit for m kitchen, it’s easy to adjust the height to get a perfectly flush fit under the counter and it’s also straightforward to mount the door so that it looks hidden when closed.
The dishwasher itself works really well, it’s got plenty of space and comes with the basket. It also has handy accessories in the top basket for maximising washing space and it has eight different wash cycles to select from that you choose to best suit your needs.
The dishwasher even comes with app control so you check / set your programme and start / stop the wash. It also tells you how much energy was used per wash.
It’s all very clever, the price is great and the value for money surpasses that of anything I’ve seen in my local curries.
The COMFEE’ KWH-BD1215P-W Fully Integrated Dishwasher is a standout appliance that offers top-notch quality and convenience without breaking the bank. From its sturdy construction to its user-friendly features, it’s a reliable addition to any kitchen.
This dishwasher can handle a generous load of dishes with its 12 place settings capacity, making it perfect for families or those who entertain often. Plus, dishes come out clean and dry thanks to the extra drying feature, saving you time and effort.
Installing the dishwasher is a breeze, and once in place, it seamlessly blends into your kitchen decor. Its delay start function adds flexibility to your schedule, allowing you to set wash cycles to suit your needs.
Overall, the COMFEE’ Integrated Dishwasher is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for quality and convenience at an affordable price. It’s a reliable workhorse in the kitchen, making dishwashing a breeze and leaving you with more time to enjoy the things you love.
Brilliant, love this machine. Took us a while to get it plumbed in. We only had the unit for about half a month now and everything is going well.
We have found it excellent for us, all dishes and cutlery are clean and dry even on the express setting, the glasses shine with no spots and stains, and even the dirtiest pans come out perfectly clean.
Great size internally and it is very quiet when running, there is a flexible loading option and I love the large basket that can take loads of cutlery. Good choice of different programs and is easy to understand, I tend to use ECO, which only takes 30 minutes and is so much cheaper too. Very satisfying to have it in my kitchen.
Well, sure arrived well packed, but is it easy to install? Not really if you are not DIY very experienced. For all integrated appliances, it takes time to install it properly, but there is the step-by-step instruction anyway, easy to follow but do your homework!
I would say it’s well made and the quality is superb, looking nice, working properly and it comes with nearly all functions you need from a decent dishwasher. I normally put all dishes into it and run it overnight, all dishes clean and dry overnight, no hassle, and peach of mind. I found the delay start function really useful.
It’s versatile with plate settings, probably could meet everyone’s need, individually. Compared with my old dishwasher, I love the auto sensing wash, which ensures it can run in a most economic way, hence saving money and resources.
It’s relatively quiet, and very impressive with 44dB noise level. Not sure of the tech, but COMFEE has done well in my opinion.
All in all, I’m happy with this COMFEE. So far so good, and hope it lasts.
It might be a reasonable price (in comparison to Bosch) but note that you will need to already have or buy 25cm dinner plates, otherwise they don’t fit. Other than that, I can’t grumble.
Slightly small, we have to handwash pots and pans. Everything else can all be washed by this tiny machine. Washing quality is good, 1 hr wash is more than enough for our all day dishes. great product, 10/10!
This is my second counter top dishwasher as I just have no space. I loved my first one and was pretty devastated when it stopped working. I think most of these washers are pretty much the same with varying interfaces. This one is lovely. You can for so much in especially if you loads carefully and use all the space. In fact it’s surprising how much you can get in it if you don’t want to wash the dishes yourself!
I like that the screen counts down for you so you know how long it has left.
Overall really impressed. Easy to install and dishes pop out clean and dry. Love not washing up- It’s like having a little best friend in the corner of your kitchen!
Current Comfy Dishwasher KWH-FD1435E-W in use since 20th July 2023.
1st machine purchased: paperwork stated 12 month warranty. I telephoned Helpline number which arrived with instructions. I spoke with Andrew, and then, David who confirmed Amazon machine purchase details on site stated 24 month warranty (still stated 24mth warranty when I purchased 2nd machine). This 1st machine then developed problem: ‘automatic door opening’ function did not open. Spoke to Amazon Chat Help and Amazon swiftly processed return/refund. Meanwhile I purchased 2nd Machine, same model.
Pros: Swift, safe, delivery for both machines. Prompt removal of 1st faulty machine.
Dishwasher easily installed, following instructions. Gradually worked through all programmes, all working fine on 2nd machine. No problem with quality of wash/using usual wash tablets/filling with salt etc. Door on 2nd machine opens automatically (but can b altered) on designated programmes once wash is complete. Configuration of shelves/cutlery basket = flexability when loading variable contents. All my enquiries were dealt with efficiently/helpfully.
Cons: I have v large dinner plates. I adjusted the top shelf to accommodate these but this meant that the clip-on–shelf (for cutlery/support for stems of wine glasses) needed to b removed from the top shelf (-shelf designed to easily clip on/off) as, on pulling out the top shelf, knives ‘jumped’ out of the clipped on -shelf – I suspect the -shelf edge/it’s contents were catching on the inside ceiling of the dishwasher as the shelf sits at an angle, rising upwards from the clip-on edge.
Solution: unclipped & removed the -cutlery-shelf. I’m quite happy with the usefulness of the cutlery box in the lower shelf. Which cutlery box can be moved about in the lower shelf to a few positions to accommodate space when filling up with varying dishes/pans in lower shelf.
I’d point out that my dinner plates (now the obvious ‘serial’ troublemakers!) Cannot fit nx to each other in-between every ‘rung’/space allocated to take crockery in the lower shelf – they need an empty ‘rung’/space between each plate due to their thickness, but we’re a household of 3 adult people + occasionals n this doesn’t cause me any angst, I get my own back by stacking them upright nx to each other when they’re resting in my cupboard organisers!
Overall: I had same Mle dishwasher for approx 10yrs, previous to purchasing this Comfy one. Comparison: this is lighter built (door is much more ‘flexible’ on this machine). Washwise=new technology means I get same wash/dry as previous machine for a LoT less . Loved my old machine. B very happy if this one outlives it’s 24 month warranty = I’d consider it good value for money.
Installed this dishwasher in our static caravan holiday home and once we got used to the difference between this and our usual dishwasher, re filling and settings, from the one at home we are very pleased with the results.
Great to have a dishwasher. Cleans well. Was a bit faffy to set up. Needed a different tap where the end unscrews to add the facet diverter and then that needed and adapter for the inlet house. Once set up very happy to have a dishwasher again.
Removal of old dishwasher and delivery/installation of COMFEE dishwasher (at an additional 50 charge) by two stellar gentleman. They met with great difficulty removing & installing due to the bizarre plumbing under the kitchen sink, but remained patient throughout before finally triumphing! The result is my new dishwasher fitted perfectly, runs smoothly, and is a whole lot quieter than the old one. There are a few bizarre wash cycles on it (one lasts for 3 hours – 3 hours!) but I’ll just be using the 30 minute Quick Wash, so all’s good. Money well spent – and the two unstoppable delivery men earned every penny of that 50 delivery/installation charge!
Currently moved to a new country and into a smaller home with no washing machine and I must say after washing dishes by hand and changing to this machine is a life saver. Much faster and cleaner.
Pros:
– Fast
– Cleans pretty well
– 6 different modes
Cons:
– A bit loud
– Even though is big it doesn’t take big plates
– My unit came completely wet and with a small dent (Amazon gave me a 50 gift)
Excellent product does the job great.
Had one wee problem when I first started it. One of the wires to the solenoid of the water inlet had come loose during transport. luckily I’m a technician so popped open the bottom of the unit to discover that the blue wire had been taped to high up the wiring cluster so no strain relief was given to it. Came up with E1 error on the screen.
Always had a table top dishwasher as I live alone ..This is fab ..
I like it all it seems perfect for what I need and I’m very pleased with i
Beautiful and works well dishes are sparkling clean thank you would recommend this produc
Literally just installed and tried out the 30 min programme.
In the pic the amount of washing it took (plus a mixing bowl, and about 5-6 long kitchen knives and utensils), and the cutlery basket. Mind that the pan in the picture is almost 26cm in diameter and had to slanted a little. My largest dinner plates are at 24ish cm diameter, but I feel that another 0.5-1cm may fit in still.
The dishes were not perfectly dry from the 30 min programme, but I’m OK with that.
I personally wanted a Bosch or a top-tier one. I researched a lot and, with the new energy rating system, 99% of tabletop dishwashers will be an F. I’m not sure I would have bought the Comfee at its full price of 209 (you can get other better known brands at that price), but at the 167 of the Black Friday offer I’m absolutely good with it even if it doesn’t last beyond the warranty year. Essentially, only a Bosch gives you two-year warranty, and the price is more than double.
Faucet/kitchen tap wise, I got these products:
1) 3/4″Male/Female Thread Hose Tap Faucet Adapter Easy Connect and Release Adapter 1 Set (2Pcs) Brass Quick Connector
2) Multi tap connector:
Hozelock HZ2274P9000 Mixer Tap Connector
Height-wise, I’m lucky that it fits under my cupboard, however when I measured the space when ordering, I think you may need to overestimate the height of the appliance by at least 0.3-0.5cm to be on the safe side of it fitting in your space.
Hopefully will come back with good updates.
Noise-wise, it’s less noisy than my 16L dehumidifier, which should be at 38dB but you can still hear it over mildly loud music, whereas this dishwasher is in the distant background noise-wise.
I bought this to replace my old dishwasher and its very easy to install and use.
So far very happy with my dishwasher. I’ve used it about 6/7 times. So quite and easy to install also all the plates, cups and dishes are exceptionally clean. It’s easy to operate even without always reading the instructions. My old dishwasher lasted 20yrs so I’ll be happy if this one lasts as long.. so far I’m very happy with my purchase
Fine for a small kitchen and a single person would buy agai
I had been looking for a table top dishwasher for a long time. I am posting this for a person who might not able to choose one. First of all it is washing perfect and for 3 people family this has enough capacity. It saved my life from washing the dishes. It was easy to establish. We have only bought extra one tap for connecting drain to the washing machines’ hose and it worked error free. Recommend to anyone interested.
Now I finally received it and got it installed it’s running well. Not easy to stack bigger plates, but other than that no issues.
Not impressed with the delivery company- Arrow XL. Terrible customer service and communication from them. Delivery time was more than twice as long as advertised and in the day it was finally delivered I was told it would be there 7-11am. It arrived at 4pm.
Thank you for reading this review, I purchased this dishwasher because of living in a tiny small upstairs apartment, and to be honest, here are my initial thoughts
On the day of purchase, the Delivery team was very helpful as it came very packaged even a tall 6’5 delivery driver from amazon looked like he had not come prepared for it and I received the message to come to meet him outside to help him
After gaining the item into the property i found it straightforward to unbox,
Lots of poly form to protect the dishwasher and majority of two boxes
now here where the problems with my kitchen lay to fitting the dishwasher
I had only one sink trap on my bend under my piping which ment 2 options
the first option after so much hassle, was to attach the waste-pipe to empty into the sink using a U bend holder,
We took this first option whilst we ordered a Y piping cold water splitter from amazon (Note do not use the plastic ones as stated on here they are useless and go for the brass ones to feed to cold water to dishwasher and other device like a washing machine for example)
we then have the device sat next to the sink (for now as we are considering moving it into a unit or old cupboard but that means ordering a new drill and making some bore holds to connect up to piping simple 10 min job once we get a new heavy duty drill to do
downsides to this dishwasher so far
when using this washer is Fab and have no mention on the operation so far, and it’s working just fine, Just make sure you use some also some dishwasher salt and not just dishwasher tablets and liquid to get a great finish and shine,
The only issues is this is a small dishwasher inside and needs to be plumed in to work,
You cannot fit large plate trays in but usually can do an echo wash from 0.30 mins to 2 hours timed and free up time, Normally that time used and wasted by looking for other items to top up with the dishwasher lol
Large plates over 10mm Don’t fit and you have to angle them or arrange a setup where you can fit them but things like small plates to stained cups are not a problem and they can be sparkly clean
this dishwasher also can dry the plates ect but after every wash i like to leave, open the door once complete so far i have had no issues with dishwasher just being in an old property and renovating the kitchen was the stumbling block for my family and me,
Also avoid using basic plastic type cups the type you can get from Walmart for drinking soda in these dishwashers and novelty type cups from Etsy for example
this dishwasher chips away the plastic but i think it is the poor design of these type of cups or drink holders
so far can on its own wash many things, and its bulky (looks quite nice mind) but thrilled with purchase
Not much to say yet, other than that it works great and was very easy to install myself, with no real plumbing experience. It’s quiet and I also find half a dishwasher tablet seems to be good enough! Will hopefully remember to update review if there’s ever an issue, but very happy so far!
I have one issue and that’s that the internal height could be maybe another 10cm .
Tilt the plates
I had placed this on my counter top and drilled a hole to place hose down on to water pipes, easy to install and works a treat. There are 6 programmes to choose from. Some noise especially when programmes beginning but doesn’t continue and becomes quiet. Beeping sound when programme finished to make you aware. I am very pleased I purchased this item and would buy it again.
Does what it’s ment to do and cleans everything perfectly, but everything tastes of salt. I’ve run it on empty and I’ve done all the necessary checks, ive even changed to different salt products, but everything taste of salt and my items are turning to rust and leave a horrible after taste in your mouth
The best thing I’ve bought in ages! It was easy to install, and really easy to use.
Surprisingly spacious and saves me alot of time standing at the sink!
This dishwasher is well made and has a good range of programs. It can take as little as 30 mins to do a very quick wash; and as long as 2 hours 50 mins for a pan wash. It has a limitation of what size of dinner plate it will take, but you can arrange 10 or 11 dinner plates (along with the other stuff), and it will take a good amount (6 place settings). It sits well on the worktop and leaves good space between the top of the dishwasher and the bottom of the cupboards. The dishes come out gleaming!! I had a bush dishwasher that had a window and all of the seals went just after the guarantee ran out. This dishwasher has no windows and the seals look to have a fair amount of years of life. I got an extended 3 year guarantee for 20 extra.
Background:
We always had a dishwasher in our mums house so I never new how crap it was doing dishes until I moved out. I’ve spent 8 years staring at dirty dishes, making boke noises while I wipe the dried in crap off, having to go to the shop to get those metal scrubbers for the real bad stuff! In the rare event I was ever stupid enough to cook a fry, Sunday dinner or god help me, bake with my son, I was basically committing to 3 hours of constant washing and drying standing at the sink! Please do not think I’m joking when I say this, it is the worst part of my life. “I’ve not had a very hard life.”
Present day:
So comfe has been with us just under a month, and I can safely say in the event of a fire the order of saving would be, 1. Son. 2. Dog. 3. Comfe. 4. Boyfriend. Because at least comfe helps with the dishes. I actually couldn’t live without her now like I don’t know how I did it for 8 years!
I’ve waited near a month just to make sure it wouldn’t clog up or leak or explode or something! But she is still perfect in every way, I come home from work to clean warm dishes, And it’s really quiet I don’t have to leave the kitchen when it’s on! I do with my new washing machine that was 100 more than my dishwasher and sounds like a lorry! But that’s only making me appreciate the the thought process behind my dishwasher more, like for 100 less they made a better machine than an extremely well know brand of washing machines.
Installing in small kitchen is also really easy I did it myself, you need a y splitter off Amazon, YouTube a video and if the value they show isn’t under your sink it’s probably plumbed behind your washing machine.
Moral of the story:
They lived happily ever after.
Had it a week.
Bought this because I was fed up of having dishes in the sink.
( 2 young adults yet to move out )
So decided to purchase the comfee dishwasher.
Best decision i’ve made in ages.
No dirty dishes left for me to wash.
It will take a 10 inch plate. Barely.
Careful how you load it.
And everything comes out spotless, no streaks.
I plumbed it in. So easy and I’m not a plumber.
And I’ve only had to use the 90min setting.
Even baked on stuff is cleaned off.
Brilliant.. so far so good.
I like everything about the dishwasher, the only downside was that delivery took 3 days than the usual two since it was bought on a Sunday.
Otherwise I’m fine with the item.
This dishwasher is the best buy of the year for us. It is the ideal size for the two of us and is so easy to use. It usually gets used on the 30 minute eco wash on a delayed start so it is washing at about 3am. We have had no problems with it and it cleans very well. It is also quieter than I thought it would be. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone who doesn’t need the extra space a full size dishwasher has!!!
Excellent product and excellent customer service experience
Works straight away, dishes cleaned lovely, you need rinse aid salt dishwasher tabs and water supply to use,.it is very quiet and fits in too of cabinets really easilly.
Easy to unpack, easy to install, easy to use. Only downside was waiting for the courier company to get in contact about arranging delivery.
Didn’t have enough room for a full sized machine, but this little table top dishwasher fit perfectly. Full sized plates do need to be put in at a slight angle, but that’s not a huge downside. It’s been a huge timesaver and so worth the money.
This is by far one of the best dishwashers I have used. It is easy to fit and is fast and effective. It washes and dries. The only downside I had was the cost changes all the time so definitely keep an eye on it before you buy. The size is great as a table top dishwasher but definitely wont fit under your sink.
Nothing to dislike about this dish washer I didn’t have room for full size dishwasher so bought table top 1 was not disappointed
Value for money
Easy use
Easy installation
love this product best thing I have purchased in a long time
A great product! It is really successful in terms of being easy to set up and use.
It fits the expectation we want from a normal dishwasher. (Of course, it would not be right to compare this product with normal-sized dishwashers.)
I bought this product by taking advantage of Black Friday deals. My advice to you would be to follow the discount periods if you are not in a hurry for the discount. Different colors are available. It came in a bigger box than I expected. However, the box and shipping were really successful, so I did not encounter any problems.
It contains all the cables and parts necessary for installation. What you need to do is to adjust the clean water faucet and the dirty water outlets. It meets the daily dishwashing needs of a family of 3 people.
I recommended it to many of my friends. A product that I am satisfied with.
Edit: I have been using this product for nearly 5 months, I have never got a problem with it. A quick reminder do not forget to use good quality dishwasher tablets.
Absolute perfection just what I needed as only have a galley kitchen but fits perfectly on the counter top, good size, easy to operate, as a single person I only put on once a day but easily copes with weekend family meals and roast dinners recommended
I have a love hate relationship with this dishwasher. If you stack things exactly the right way, then most of it will get cleaned on the right settings. But overall you can’t fit that much in there and sometimes after spending over 5 minutes stacking everything perfectly, I probably could have washed it up in that time. It also doesn’t fit normal-sized dinner plates, only smaller ones, so if you don’t eat on smaller plates then you’ll still be washing up your big dinner plates by hand. And because of the size, you can’t really get many pans in there. So I normally wash them by hand as well. It’s best for small plates/mugs/cutlery. Overall though, I’m glad I made the purchase it helped me when I had surgery and I needed some extra hands. If you put it on the longer cycles, everything will come out clean and fresh. It can also use low energy on some of the settings as I tested with voltage metre. If you’re looking for a small dishwasher, I think they’re probably all the same in terms of their drawbacks and I don’t think you can go far wrong with this 1 compared to the rest.
Dishwasher door lies flat when open
Good selection of programs to wash
Clear digital image, quiet when working. Plates can be no bigger than 9 inch. Slots on back rail and Bottom keep plates up right, may need dishwasher aid.
Very pleased!! Haven’t installed yet as old one started working again! But I’m happy – product looks great, arrived on time and was great value
Fits great on my sink top and does an amazing job with all dishes sparkling and dry. (Open the door once cycle is finished and leave for 10 minutes, and they will be dry.) Highly recommended.
Don’t hesitate, just buy it.
If, like me, you don’t have enough space for a full sized dishwasher, you will find this wonderful gem just perfect.
I plumbed this in myself and it was very straightforward. I made a hole at the back of the worktop and trailed the cold water feed to below the kitchen sink and using a ‘Y’ split connector replaced that to the cold water feed to my washing machine. So now both the washing machine cold feed and the dishwasher cold feed could both be attached. And it works perfectly.
The outlet / drain pipe from the dishwasher just trails across the top of the worktop and rests easily in the kitchen sink. The washing machine is close to the kitchen sink as many are, and the new compact dishwasher sits on top of the worktop above it.
I never thought I could have a dishwasher, but I do now. There was no way I could fit a full size dishwasher in anywhere, but this is the perfect solution. And it holds a fair amount of dishes, it is enough for a small household of two. The wash cycle I use take 90 minutes and the dishes are warm, clean and dry by the end of it.
I’m so happy I can’t begin to tell you. I wish I had bought this sooner. I had it in my wishlist for ages.
The dishwasher is a great size. It is as wide as a full size machine, but perhaps half the height.
It is brilliant, just brilliant. Highly recommended.
I like this convenient over the counter dishwasher, my only concern is that it is hard to close it as sometimes you have to press hard to close it . not sure if mine is defective or that how it is supposed to work. everything else working great.
Best purchase I had so far. I have very small kitchen and always wanted to get a dishwasher, but the smaller ones that I looked seems to be dodgy. This one works great as proper dishwasher in a small version. Highly recommended
There is absolutely nothing bad to say (that I can find) to say about this dishwasher. We are a family of four and my partner has very recently been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and I work night shifts whilst having an allergy to doing dishes. Enter this brilliant little dishwasher, plumbing in was extremely easy infact I fitted a Y valve to where the washing machine was plumbed in and from there was able to feed the waste pipe to the same outlet as the washing machine, plugged it in and put in the dishwasher salt and rinse aid. At this point it is worth searching the water hardness for your area as this needs to be set on the dishwasher. Me being me, I wanted to see how good this could perform so its first wash was with a pan that had been used to make a roast dinner. The results were outstanding. It also handled all the family plates, utensils, cups, glasses and some other bits in one load with ease and again with brilliant results. Additionally being able to mount this at countertop height meant ease of use for my partner who wants to remain independent as possible. Amazingly enough my allergy to doing dishes has also been cured which is a miracle.
I’d been meaning to get a dishwasher for a long time but I finally did and I think you should to!
This dishwasher is very easy to use, does an amazing job of cleaning dishes, far better than I ever could!
The door is nice and sturdy and shuts tightly, you have to press until the lock clicks into place.
It holds a LOT of dishes and cutlery and really any other ‘dishwasher safe’ items.
Only downside is that it only supports plates up to 250mm but you can still wash bigger plates if you place them at a more shallow angle.
It’s only noisy when you first turn it on because of the pump but it quietens down quickly enough.
Also, I love how it was packaged, just lift the box off and ta-daaa! 😀
Installation:
If you’re like me and only have one inlet hose and no way to use a tap/faucet fitting then do what I did:
You’ll need to buy these separate and ofc you’ll need a wrench for tightening.
1x washing machine hose, 1x 3/4″ male to male adapter, 1x 3/4″ Tap ‘Y’ splitter, 1x PTFE tape.
Turn off your water at mains, unscrew hose from washing machine, add PTFE to the 3/4″ adapter and screw onto the hose, add PTFE to the Y splitter and screw that onto the 3/4″ adapter.
Then screw on one hose and attach it to your washing machine, do the same with the other hose but attach it to the dishwasher. As for the drainage hose, you can buy a pipe fitting so you can fit both dishwasher and washing machine onto the same drain pipe, or just do what I do and switch the hose with whichever device you’re going to be using.
Other things I recommend you should buy:
Dishwasher salt: It’s used to reset the water softener in the machine, do NOT use table salt or you risk damaging your machine.
Rinse Aid: Helps dishes dry quicker as it prevents the water from sticking to your plates/cutlery…etc
Some tablets claim to not need rinse aid, but trust me, use it anyway 🙂
Dishwasher tablets: I personally use ‘Fairy Platinum All In One’ as they do a great job! I’m sure other brands are good enough too though.
Anyway I highly recommend this dishwasher it’s a lifesaver! I’m personally really glad I bought it!
If you found this review helpful please considering slapping that helpful button! 😀 Really helps a lot!
Purchased this as a replacement for faulty 3 place dishwasher. We went for 6 place one because we learned we can plumb it ourselves and the smaller one was just too small and awkward to place things in — we use loads of lunch boxes/bowls so not the upwards space but depth and width we need. After only a few days I can confidently say we made the right choice. Its excellent — we can fit so much more stuff in it! Don’t be put off by the 25cm max plate size warning, our plates are 27 and 27.5 and we washed them many times already, just tilt them so they lean on something like built in plastic shelf. I did buy a few smaller plates too – for convenience and hopefully it will help with portion control . If you consider buying a dishwasher — whatever size and water intake suits you — do so, so great not having to wash dishes by hand and waste hot water. In regards to electricity consumption the leaflet states its very efficient – I ordered electricity consumption meter and I will check if this is accurate and update the review.
Update: I measured electricity take on 90 mins wash – it’s about 0.71 kwh, not much more than eco. On nigh time tariff 90 mins wash costs 3-4 pence.
Well I’ll admit I was rather dubious about buying a white appliance of the internet,I usually buy in store so I can see it first hand and with something like this I was worried about it getting bashed about on route.
Item arrived within the specified time with regular updates from the driver via the Amazon app, which was most handy.arrived nicely packaged as well just two sturdy tapes to cut and then lift of the heavy duty cardboard lid and hey presto there’s the machine like a little early Christmas present waiting to delight you.no bash’s or bangs evident on the box or the machine itself so away we go.had to have a plumber install it,but that was more personal choice as I wanted the installation done correctly so I didn’t have to worry about pipe work issues later on.finding the right water hardness was also key to my house as I know from previous experience my area is a hard water area. easy enough just to google to find it out.load with salt and water aid and a wash tablet and kick of the first load on a 30 minute cycle, very impressed,in no time at all I’d done 5 loads of pots that would normally take me a couple of hours stood at the sink leaving me with a lot of body pains.it took some wrangling to figure out certain angles to put things.the top left hand side shelf I am using for extra long knifes or tongs.the cutlery holder is brilliant,I found that angling certain things like chopsticks or graters was better and I could get more in,but being able to flip one side of that holder over and open is most helpful in the variation that can go into it.haven’t used it on a longer cycle yet but if it carry’s on performing this well than I have no complaints at all,I have gone from a grungy grotty kitchen on a daily basis that leaves me worn out and tired even looking at it to a useable kitchen that makes me wonder what else I can whack into the dishwasher.to give people an idea of how small my kitchen is,it basically is 10ft long by 5.5ft wide.so you cannot swing a cat in it and doing any kinda of pots situation was a nightmare.but no more.it’s a two person household so this machine is more than enough capacity for us to use on a daily basis and fits nicely into the kitchen
Highly recommend the payment instalments,as for me this was an exspence I didn’t really need this close to Christmas,I also got the 3 yrs insurance coverage just to be on the safe side.
Would I recommend buying this if you have a super small kitchen space like mine,oh yes most definitely
If you have a small space or counter top available. This is ideal. I load mine up throughout the day, then put it on. It’s great to have clean crockery, cutlery and sparkling glasses.
Small kitchen, couldn’t get a slimline or fullsize dishwasher as no space to install. Now this one is really a perfect fit and no more washing dishes. Just connected it to the garden hose using a connector and done!! Will think of some permanent solution to connect to hose to the mains under the sink.
Did the first with 80% load and very happy with the dishes coming out clean!! Just that glasses came out with a few marks. Does the job, fits the space and is obviously value for money !!
I do love having a dishwasher, I just wish it was easier to install to the water system! I had to go b&q and buy an outdoor hose attachment and link it up to my sink but it’s always leaking water and is quite loud listening to running water constantly!
What can I say? It does its job brilliantly, was a pain to install but that’s more to do with my kitchen than the appliance. All our stuff comes out sparkling.
Seriously. This thing is magic. Saves all fights over the dishes, and easy to install even for me- and absolute first timer. It’s now snugly under my sink and I don’t have to look at dirty dishes!
Really pleased with this dishwasher, reasonably easy to use , sits on the worktop next to the sink .
This gives me a choice of washing up by hand or loading the machine,
So far the only issues I have met
have been due to errors on my part.
Very satisfied customer.
Love this little dishwasher, my kitchen is small and there is not enough room for a full size dishwasher but this is the perfect size to sit on the counter top next to the sink. I hate washing dishes and they always end up piled up because I just don’t want to do them at the end of every day but with this it is a breeze to just pop things in as you’re done with them and pop it on before you go to bed.
It was very quick to get to us and very easy to install. My boyfriend did it on his own and its worked great for the month that we have had it, with almost daily use.
It is small but you can get a days worth of dishes in and a pan or a couple of baking trays if you angle them right. I have some very large plates (they don’t quite fit in the cupboards of our new house) and they fit in fine if at an angle.
Can’t recommend enough, if you live along or just with a partner, perfect size and super convenient.
I waited a while before reviewing..well what a dishwasher..took 20 minutes to install..it washes really well..some plates are too big for it..but put them at an angle it’s fine..and for 177. Mi
Its a cheap dishwasher so you do get what you pay for. Yes it’s small, so you wont fit in the average large dinner plate at a vertical angle, you have to position it on the side with a mug holding it up so it stays still.
Mine arrived with dents on every corner and the handle was broken on the cutlery holder. I did contact amazon and send them many images but apparently they ‘couldn’t see the damage on the 5 images i sent’ The dishwasher isn’t packaged amazing either, you will see when it arrives how the box doesnt really protect the product. However for a small cheap dishwasher it does the job. You need a Y shaped piece so that you can fit it in and have a washing machine connected to your sink pipes. I leave the waste water hose in the sink, its a little messy looking but as Im living in a rental home, I cant drill through the work tops to hide it.
Excellent machine first time dishwasher make sure to read the very easy instructions and put in dishwasher salt essential for proper working love it price wise taking in the plumbing I’m taking the long view very happy with produc
Had a plumber to fit it. He didn’t appear to have any problems. Once I understood it it’s easy to use
Very good small machine – ideal for family of 4. Wife is happy – what I can wish more:)
Was some issues with installation ,but thiswas related more to kitchen not good design to install any aditional kitchen gadget.
Far too wide for any kitchen cupboard of mine. Had to put on the worktop, where it only just fits. Confused by the energy rating as one says A and one says F. The quickest wash is 30 minutes and didn’t clean the dishes. After that it’s 1hour 30 minutes, which left them perfectly clean.
I love this little dishwasher, its been 11 years since I last had one in my life and now I’ve got this little fella I’m wondering why on earth I waited so long to get another one!!
Easy to plumb in, I just bought pipe spliters and installed it above my washing machine on the kitchen work top. Everything I have fits in this dishwasher, even my largest stockpot pan, large plates and pan lids will go in on there on an angle to, it just means an extra load for any big stuff being washed, I especially like the little 30 minute wash there is, really handy for when I’m dotting around in the kitchen and I’m wanting things done fairly quickly. This is honestly the Best purchase I’ve made in years!!
Lovely machine, easy to use and install, does all my daily dishes and for additional pots and pans I just run it again. It’s a big help, definitely would recommend.
Fantastic table top dishwasher, leaves all glasses sparking and greasiest plates – clean. Can fit so many plates and cups – it’s a great size for two people. I can fit even large plates (27cm), just on a little angle. Very happy!
Yeah it’s pretty awesome probably the best purchase I made recently in terms of convenience. It’s relatively inexpensive into some of the other ones that I’ve seen but it’s effective easy to install all and just makes life easier.
The dishwasher was so easy to set up. I was surprised at how much you can get inside. It fits nicely on the draining board & is really quiet. We just put the dirty items in the dishwasher, out of sight, then turn it on after our evening meal. It’s all clean & dry before bed time! I’d thoroughly recommend it.
Bought for my daughter who rents a tiny house with nowhere to put a dishwasher. Had a faulty one delivered but Amazon customer service was amazing and sent out a replacement and arranged collection the very next day. My daughter is made up with this as she has a baby too and this helps use her time better. This machine is sooo easy to use and it cleans everything amazingly. Loads of space in it and sits neatly on a counter top. I’d go so far as to say it’s better than my slimline dishwasher. I wouldn’t hesitate to get one of these in future as there no bending up and down with a counter top one! Landlord didn’t have plumbing in for this and no hole in the countertop. So we just got an extension pipe which sits at the side of the dishwasher and under the counter top neatly by the dishwasher and a splitter under the sink for the filling water and draped outlet pipe down the sink behind taps. There’s no force with water when emptying so it doesn’t need to be held in place. Works brilliantly. Excellent machine. Daughter has a permanently tidy kitchen and extremely clean everything.
This is small and compact very easy to use and is just a small hum whilst working much less noise than a washing machine, it cleans perfectly and is plenty large enough to accomodate our needs (family of 4). highly recommend
Arrived in very good packaging and easy to unpack installing was very easy . Sadly that is where the machine stopped,it would not change program. A quick talk with Amazon and Pocahontas arranged for the next day and a new machine arriving the day after. New machine arrived and worked a treat. It takes a bit of work to arrange when filling with crockery it you soon learn how to get the best from your dishwasher. The was is very good and comes out nice and clean and shiny. So nice to hear squeaky clean plates and shiny shiny glass’s. Before disgraceful machine we had a full sizebwasher. Filling the rinse and in the full size machine was arkward, this table top machine is so way simpler. Assuming it carries on to clean as it does then this dishwasher will be great.
By handwashing, our pots and pans looked dingy and not very clean but now, our Comfee dishwasher is installed and everything is back sparkling again.
Very easy to install but would be better with levelling feet as the instructions indicate!
Fits well on my draining board, was easy to install , just had to buy a double adapter for the cold water feed , works perfectly and does a great job
ever had a dishwasher but finally gave in and tried this – it works really well and was very easy to set up (I already had a spare water feed under the sink) I just have the drain pipe running into the sink for now and it works fine.
I am very impressed with the cleaning quality even on the quickest wash (30 mins) I live in a flat and barely notice it when running, even while in the kitchen it is not particularly loud
definitely recommended
It was very easy to install. Just needed a power point to plumb it in and a sink nearby No plumber required. Only draw back is large dinner plates don’t fit in so having to use smaller ones. I’m very pleased with it.
Great little dish washer, fits on the work top and easy to install. Washes the dishes great, good for small property with little space.
I bought this machine on a bit of a whim. I’d normally always opt for brand names for the security and reliability. There are some things I will take a gamble on but I normally wont with white goods because if they go wrong, it’s just too stressful and I usually assume not so well known brands don’t have the same track record on reliability in general.
But when my last table-top dishwasher broke, I was facing a wall of dish washing and not being physically able enough to keep up, I had limited funds and it appeared if I wanted anything any time soon; a limited number of machines. I could get this machine, a slightly more expensive also unheard of brand if I was prepared to wait a few days longer, or I could pay more than double and get a Bosch…and also wait a few more days… I took the gamble. Normally it wouldn’t. The reason I’ve included this in my review is to give you a little context- this machine arrived already having to prove itself before it even got out of the box. I have a low threshold for things not working, I have high expectations and a low budget. It was a lot to ask.
Now; I will say, the first machine went wrong. Exactly what I had feared- it stopped working at 3am and the alarm wouldn’t stop until I unplugged it from the socket. It had a leak.
I contacted both Amazon and the supplier- at 5am. Both responded within the hour, I think actually in minutes, and for that I cannot fault the communication (Amazon by phone, Comfee’ by email). I wouldn’t have expected both to respond or with trouble-shooting ideas and in the end, a new machine and pick-up-arranged returned faulty one.
I can’t say the whole experience was stress free, it really wasn’t. There was also a delay in getting the old one taken out, new one installed and collection date. I do think I lost out there. I did have to know my rights and what to expect, but fact is if a machine is faulty within a certain period you are due a full refund or exchange, it felt like if I hadn’t argued for this I’d have lost out. I was in two minds about trusting another of these machines, but I took the gamble. Again.
Luckily second time around it was a better experience.
Pros of this machine:
-Very easy to install (I am told). Didn’t take a lot of elbow grease or technical wizardry. My previous machine had fittings which worked with this one (Indesit machine if that helps). I didn’t do this myself but bought someone in to, this is what I was told by them.
-Very easy to use. You get to select from 6 different cleaning options ranging from the 30 mins quick once-over to the full 2 and a half hour deep clean. I’ve tried them all, I actually get the results I need with the 30 min mode, very rarely there is any debris and this comes despite some pretty ground in food. I never see coffee or tea marks still on my cups which was a big issue for the Indesit if I’d ever used less than the most robust cleaning mode. I just chalked that off to being in a hard water area but this machine hasn’t that issue.
-I like that there is a programme time display on the machine to show how much longer the wash has to go. Really useful.
-The machine actually does a really good job of cleaning. I was suprized how well it did it’s job- everything so far has come out sparkling clean with the shortest of cleaning modes. I’m genuinely really impressed with what I have seen so far. I’ve had this machine a few weeks now, it still appears to be cleaning perfectly still.
-The machine is easy enough to understand. I don’t need to get the book out each time, it just makes sense; a point-and-shoot type thing. I’d need to understand what the different symbols mean but there’s little to need to make sense of.
-Noise level; really a quiet machine. I hear the alarm beep fine, but the wash itself isn’t loud. I can have a phone conversation on speaker in the same room and it not be an issue. I think my microwave may be on a par in terms of noise level. In comparison; my washing machine (a Bosch -which isn’t known for being super loud) is much louder. I’d say it’s maybe the same or slightly quieter than the previous Indesit table top dishwaher machine it replaced
-Despite the initial machine having been faulty, the service response of the Comfee’ team was very good. I’d not expected them to respond or even offer to replace the machine themselves. I took Amazon as my option to replace though as I know the consumer rights I have sit with Amazon and not the manufacturer, but Comfee’ did step in to offer a replacement and refund of shipping if I had chosen that option (shipping to a UK address by the way in case anyone was alarmed at the idea of shipping to China or elsewhere!)
Cons
-Now; I am happy with this machine- and was happy enough with the build to have reordered. But be aware that you are not getting a luxury all singing all dancing model here; the machine build does feel a little…thin. The door when I pull it open (a fairly strong ‘yank’ is needed) does splash water back at me if I’ve chosen the 30 min non-drying mode and if I don’t get my face out of the way, end up with a splashed face. And it could do with a stronger door if I am honest, it’s the one main concern I have. I am a little worried, but not so worried I wanted a different model when I had the option when the first went wrong.
-The inside plate filing system isn’t so easy to use- the plates wont stand up. No matter what their size or style, it isn’t easy to keep them standing upright without a now well-practiced balancing act where now the edges of my plates need to lean on each other to keep them from falling. Tall glasses are similar. But mugs, bowls, cutlery? All very easy to deal with and I will say again, despite the effort required to get a wash set up (it’s really not that terrible!) I do still end up with brilliantly clean results, so I must be doing something right!
-I’d say that despite the concerns over the build, it is putting up with some pretty robust cleaning. I regularly do 2 washes a day, sometimes one within an hour of the first and the machine shows no issue with this. Still the same results in terms of cleanliness, nothing seems to be telling me off and I’ve not run out of salt or dishwashing aid yet despite getting through what I would say is 3 months use out of 1 month.
That’s pretty much as far as I am able to comment, if I experience anything out of the ordinary, I will update but as yet, I’d recommend this machine for people who want to make a saving and are not after ALL the bells, whistles and matchy-matchy kitchen white-goods!
This is not as easy to load as my previous work top dishwasher and there is no way I could fit the crockery for 6 people in one load. Cooking a Sunday lunch for just two people required the washer to be run twice.
Really impressed with this machine. It cleans very well, and is pretty quiet in use. Cycles take a long time but there is a rapid wash setting if you need. The delay timer function is really useful, as is the ability to connect it to an outside tap and just run the waste pipe out to the sink instead of fully plumbing it in. All in all, very pleased with it. It solved a problem and works well!
This is just the right size for my small kitchen so easy to use. The programs easy to understand
I’ve only had this for a few weeks now but I think it’s brilliant, it was a bit large to fit under the sink but it sits nicely on the counter. Installation was easy, I used a 3/4inch Y tap splitter to connect it to water mains along with my washing machine. I let the waste go straight down the kitchen sink too so I didn’t have to faff with extra installing. So far it gets the dishes sparkling clean, I have large dinner plates which will only fit on a slight angle, if the machine was 2cm taller they would fit standing straight but it’s not a huge bother. Overall its a great machine and very useful for those who don’t have space or are renting and can’t get a full size or integrated dishwasher.
Really impressed with this perfect washes the dishes spotlessly.
The short cycles aren’t the best but I find the 90 minute wash perfect.
It’s very quiet as well highly recommended.
Easy to install. Works great. Quieter then I thought it would be. Larger plates can go in at an angle. Need to get a longer inlet hose. But pretty cheap so no problem. Great produc
We have limited space so this has been great, hubby is happy as no washing up only of very large, or wooden items. Its been the best buy ever. Easy to use too so thats a plus
Never had room in my kitchen for a dishwasher. I’m so impressed with this. I have placed it next to my sink and was able to easily plumb it in with the water hose provided. The drain hose is in the sink. It is so easy to use with various programmes to choose from. Everything comes out sparkling clean with fairy tabs. It is very quiet when running and it beeps when finished. Holds a good amount of crocks, glasses and pans. If you have large dinner plates then just angle them so they fit. Just don’t know what I did without one of these. Get one, you won’t regret it!
It’s easy to use fits perfectly on my countertop washes very well when placed plates and pans in the correct place I’ve had no issues. I wish I bought this sooner!
come with big bash in side back end not plummed in yet so give a review when it is
Very good… very quite when in use I would recommend this item if cannot have a full-size dishwashe
I should start by saying that I have never had a dishwasher before, so have nothing to compare this to. Having said that, I’m finding this a great wee appliance.
First, as others have said, genius packaging! What a pleasure not to have the usual cardboard and tape battle to begin.
Installation was a doddle. Connect a couple of hoses, plug it in, and off we go… Though I did use a jubilee clip on the outlet connection, just to be sure.
The photo shows it in a (new) b&q 600mm standard cabinet. I slightly miscalculated and thought the cabinet door would fit, but it’s just too deep – I think if I’d gone for a full cupboard, rather than drawer line set up, it would have fit perfectly.
The appliance itself seems sturdy, well made and the fuss-free design is pleasing to the eye. The door opens and shuts with a satisfying clunk, the basket rolls smoothly, and the compartment for tablets/powder seems robust enough.
Using is a doddle too. Press one button to cycle through the 6 preset programmes, and another to start. The digital display shows the length of the cycle, and counts down time left, which is handy as I don’t need to remember which cycle is which.
Over the couple of weeks we’ve had it, I’ve tried a few of the cycles. For day to day cups, crockery and cutlery, the 30 min cycle is perfectly adequate. It doesn’t have a “drying” component, but then the longer cycles don’t really leave things “dry” anyway. The 90min cycle has handled oven dishes with cooked on gravy and sticky crumble juice. It’s quieter than I expected (now I’ve realised that noise is the powder compartment opening, *not* a hose popping off!).
For such a small appliance, it does seem to hold a fair amount. With a bit of thought, it’ll easily hold a whole day’s washing up for the two of us – I’ve not completely filled it yet, even on Xmas day, and we get through a LOT of mugs!
All in all, I’m really impressed with what I’ve got for my money. Obviously I can’t comment on longevity yet – I’ll update if we run into any problems. The missing 5th star is just due to the basket design. I would have liked the slots for plates to be just a little bit deeper to hold them better – we have Denby crockery with thick lips, and it can be a bit fiddly to position them so they don’t fall over.
I bought this as a Black Friday deal and was expecting it to just save the hassle of doing the normal dishes, with the sink still being needed for everything else, so, after a bit of mucking around to plumb it in without drilling a hole in the sink unit, after sitting it on the draining board, it was put to work.
First off it’s quiet and has the bonus that it uses very little water, even compared to the traditional washing up bowl, and you can just leave fill it and leave it to do its thing while you get on with something else, so it does save time the time you’d otherwise spend up to your elbows in hot water, scrubbing away.
I know it says it’s a 6 place setting machine, but I genuinely can’t leave dishes that long, so I’ve never used it in that way. NB. it takes 3 – 4 normal sized mugs plus a wine glass, when loading the left hand side and will accommodate what I class as normal dinner plates, but you can’t put cutlery with wooden handles in it, and for some reason a lot of all stainless knives seem to have extra long handles, that won’t fit if places in the basket, so I just lay these on the mini rack, above the mugs.
However, where it’s really paid for itself has been with the Christmas dinner.
I’ve been able to wash mixing bowls, sauce pans, oven dishes and even a large Ikea roasting tin and rack in it, with no problems. This has meant that, rather than doing a bit of cooking, washing dishes, cooking, washing dishes and repeating ad nauseum, I’ve been able to carry on cooking and preparing ingredients, while the machine did the cleaning. Genuinely took so much of the mind numbing effort out of the festive meal.
Only thing I wasn’t able to fit in was the BIG stock pot I used for boiling the turkey carcass, to make soup stock, after stripping it, but even the sink struggles with that.
I can genuinely recommend this as an appliance that does exactly what you’d want it to do.
I’ve had my new Comfee dishwasher for a week and already I don’t think I could live without out it!
It’s a great fit for our small kitchen, we didn’t have the room a full size dishwasher, so this is perfect and I think it looks great too!
The instructions are easy to follow, and setup was pretty straightforward, we already had a water & waste connection under the sink so it was un-boxed and ready to go in 15 minutes!
It’s a great size for the 2 of us, we can get a full day’s dishes clean at the end of each day.
It’s easy to use, with different settings depending on what you’ve got in there, and how quick you want the wash to finish.
It’s performance has been great too, leaving our dishes sparkly clean!
I think it would be fine for up to 3 people, but 4 or more and I think you’d either have to go for a full size dishwasher, or just hand wash the bits that don’t fit in.
This dishwasher gets 5 stars from me!
Well to be honest the first thing that impressed me was the way it was packaged, really well and the box just lifted off, very clever. No wondering how to get it out the box.
My husband actually repairs appliances for a living and he was impressed by ‘the way it was put together’ and thought it was a ‘good piece of kit’.
It’s a great machine especially if you are a couple or on your own, definitely worth the money.
