I got my office chair yesterday, however, setting it was a bit difficult for me but at the end I was able to figure it out.
The chair looks very comfortable and relaxingit is always advisable to read reviews before buying anything especially, on line. In this case if I had only relied on the photo reviews, I wouldn’t have purchased this chair.
My simple advice to anyone, the chair is good, strong and durable. If only you don’t use it as a swing or a SEA SAW UP AND DOW, I bet you it would last a long time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Comfortable

The chair is comfortable and looks good. Was more difficult to assemble than expected and getting armrests attached was no joke. But at the end of the day I have found this to be good-value-for-money. Would not recommend for using other than as a chair for sitting.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBought the same chair before, everything is good. Particular the support of back is wonderful.

Just bought a new one recently, found that the design is changed and the base (legs) required assemble. This is almost impossible to fit by hand no matter how hard it tried. Finally I need a hammer to hit hard to fix in the legs.

  4. Anonymous says:

     United Kingdom

You need to be strong to get the legs into the base, I couldn’t manage it myself. The arms were quite fiddly to get in the correct position, and the tilt/heigh mechanism got in the way when tightening one of the bolts. But apart from the legs/base I was able to assemble myself. It’s very comfortable and so far doesn’t squeak as some people have said, but I’ve only had it up a few days. I am disappointed that the tilt mechanism doesn’t work – I can manage maybe 1cm (if that) but no more. But overall I’m happy with my purchase.

    Pros –
    Modern design
    Easy to assemble
    Great customer service

    Cons
    -Poor lumbar support
-Lift mechanism failed after 2 years (this was replaced easily, for free, so i’m hesitant to add this as a con)
    – Chair creaks an awful lot.
    – Not great if you move a lot and need to dissemble the chair multiple times, as the screws lose the hex pattern in them and as a result it becomes increasingly more difficult to screw back in / unscrew.

I would recommend this chair for anything other than long-term extended periods of use. Do your back a favor and get something with lumbar support that forces good posture – your back will thank you. Other than that, a very decent chair.

When my old office chair can the the end of its time I bought one of these. I like the support it gives, the fact you can move the arms up and down which helps create space and the overall look is smart.

So much so when it was time for my wife’s chair to be replaced she orders the exact same one.

Instructions that come with the chair are easy to understand and to assemble it, but most importantly the chair is super comfortable and provides great support! Definitely recommend getting it for office use or studies or taking those 3 hour exams. This chair is a life saver!

I like how easy this was to put together and it only took me half an hour from start to finish. The shape of the chair allows for comfortable seating and the back rest is a good shape too. The mechanism is simple to use and if you wish to rock back and forth you can do that as well. There seems to be a good range of heights for you to adjust and keep your legs from tiring too quickly. Very happy with the price too.

Was searching for a home office chair for a while and came across this one! Fantastic price and fantastic value for money!
Very easy to assemble, took around 10mins & instructions easy to follow.
Very comfortable and great for my posture working from home! Arm rests can lift up to fit under desk!
    10/10! Great product! No complaints!

Great chair. I bought due to back and hip pains caused by sitting for long periods of time in my old desk chair. They have all but disappeared since buying this one (original one bought last year). My husband tried a multiple of chairs for his office, and finally I just bought him this one and he’s really pleased with it. A little tricky to attach back to arms but that’s the only negative. Both of us have been homeworkers for years, and I would say this is the best chair I’ve ever had.

I’m a short person, so it’s helpful to have a chair that is adjustable to my height. I put it together myself with my 9 yr old daughter, without any problems. It’s so comfortable to sit in and the wheels glide effortlessly around on my laminate floor. It’s now a constant race between my husband and kids, to try and sit on it first. So happy with this purchase.

A comfortable chair with good back support (I’m 5’7, so I don’t know if taller people will feel the same or not).
Assembled it by myself, which was simple enough apart from attaching the back, which was a little awkward. Although instructions do suggest having 2 people for assembly.
Overall I am very satisfied with this chair, and with the 84 price tag I payed in a sale, this was an absolute bargain.

  17. UlrikeFong says:

The chair is great for the proce but the instructions need to be done in a different order, so using the instruction sheet do steps 1, 2 then do step 5 – because of the angle to get the back to attach to the arms, then do step 4, which is very easy, then do step 3. The reason is the mechanism lever means you can not easily attach the arms to the seat as stated in the sheet (step 4) as it is in the way and you can not tighten the bolt properly
The chair is properly marked with front so no risk there and it is comfortable and looks well.
    Trust me, do 1,2 5,4,3 then 6

Great Chair, rubbish instructions, see correct order below

You will need another person to help you assemble this chair as it is a little heavy if you do it by yourself. Overall, it is a nice looking chair and a good size. The seat is padded well, however, it doesn’t really do a lot to support your back. I like it but in hindsight I probably would have looked into one which provides more back support as I work at my desk quite a lot. It’s a nice colour though.

Package was delivered on time and packaging was good.
Product was easy to assemble with the simple instructions manual guiding basic steps.
The chair feels good and comfortable. The product quality is ok not too great – don’t feel like stretching it too much as the base where ‘mechanism’ is installed looks good but could have been sturdier.
Other than that it’s nice and comfortable. Easy to handle.

Ive had this for a few weeks and like it. Quiet comfy for what it is. My only minor gripe is when assembling getting the back on correctly was a total pain but I got there in the end. I should point out that I did this solo style so it may have been easier if there was assistance.

I looked at a lot of chairs before choosing this one. I loved the idea of a white slinky looking chair to make my office look pretty but ultimately they were all made of fabric where I knew I would stick to it or get sweaty. So I switched to material and this very breathable one. It’s not really a light silver grey liked I’d hoped. It’s a darker grey. It depends on what colour is behind it on the wall. A white wall will help it look lighter grey. It’s comfy for a few hours. I haven’t done longer yet. I’m happy with this purchase for my home office.

Golden Review Award: 124 From Our UsersI was a bit sceptical initially on the quality and support claimed by the product. But I was wrong, it’s made of good quality material and the seats with mesh makes it really comfortable to sit for prolonged hours when you are working from home now a days.

Took about 15-20 minutes to assemble once you have gone through the assembly manual. Make sure you see the marking ‘Front’ under the seat and mechanism and assemble it facing forward. Otherwise the chair will be inclined forward and the rocking wont work.

Overall satisfied with the purchase. Recommended.

Pretty straight forward instructions to assemble the chair. Need to be very careful to ensure that the arm is fitted perfectly and with precision, else there is a bit of shake to the chair. Once you correct any mistakes, this is a wonderful piece of work.

Had a 30% discout and paid it just 55, for that price you can’t go wrong. The chair is amazing, a bit challenge to assemble but don’t follow the guide 100%, it was easier to put the tilt mechanism at the end and put arms with back support first and the attach everything to the base and then eventually put the mechanism to attach to the wheels because if you follow the guide it will be a disaster. The pictures of grey chair are a bit misleading, I thought it was grey with some contours of white but it’s full grey, not a problem but just so people are aware.

Golden Review Award: 46 From Our UsersThis is a very good chair for the price when you consider the prices places like Argos and Ikea charge for something similar. Assembly was fine besides one step where I needed an extra pair of hands to hold things steady (though the instructions do recommend two people).

The seating position itself is quite upright and forces your back into an ergonomic position, which is both good and bad I suppose depending on your preferences. You can lean back with a classic tilt, but the tilt itself is quite springy and resistant, so you definitely have to muscle in some effort should you want to lean.

The base itself is quite shallow, meaning longer-legged people may feel slightly uncomfortable with a relative lack of thigh support. Overall, though, for the price you pay, you’d find it tough not to be at least slightly impressed with this chair.

The chair is fairly easy to assemble and the quality is pretty decent for the price too. For something described as an executive chair it is a tad on the small side but it is quite comfortable with easy adjustment for height. It can also be tilted but it took me a while to work out how to do that. I particularly like the folding arm rests, which make it easy to store under a desk. It also makes a great guitarist’s chair!

Instructions are in the wrong order – was saved by a youtube video review
Should be 1 2 3 5 4 – Put the back onto the armrests and then the armrests onto the base
If done as per the sheet, the back is too wide to fit onto the “armed” base

I have a had a nice chair for many years which unfortunately broke soon after everyone started to work from home.

In search for a desk chair, I came across many there cost several hundred more than this! After reading many reviews, I decided to give this one a try.

Assembly was very simple. I was able to put it together myself within about 10 minutes while constantly leaving the room to check on the stove.

The chair itself is very comfy. I did have some initial concerns about the lumbar mesh/net wearing away rather quickly. However, ive now had it over a year and it still provides ample support with no signs of wear.

Unfortunately there is one very annoying issue I found with the chair: the armrest material!!!
I find the armrest fabric soooo coarse! My elbows were sore after the first day of use! Fortunately I had some spare cotton fabric which I wrapped around them it looks silly but no more issues and no chance of thick calluses growing my elbows!!!

In conclusion, for the price, this is a great chair! I can barely tell the difference when compared to my chair in work. which so happens to cost 6 times as much!!!

I bought this as a replacement for an old leather effect chair. It’s cheap and cheerful and pretty comfortable. I like the fact the arms can be lifted up out of the way, as i sometime like to practice guitar and the arms don’t get in the way. When I first started using the chair it felt a bit strange compared to my old chair and I wasn’t sure I’d made a good decision to buy. However having used it now for a few weeks, it doesn’t seem strange anymore, and is actually pretty comfortable. I work from home and spend all day in the chair and can confirm it does the job.

This chair is really comfy and good quality for money, but the instructions make assembly much more complicated than it needs to be. The instructions say to attach the arms to the bottom of the chair and then slide the back in but the gap isn’t big enough and, despite trying for 20 minutes, I couldn’t get this to work. I ended up attaching the arms to the back and then to the bottom of the chair and it was so much simpler.

Golden Review Award: 121 From Our UsersI was able to put this chair together on my own in approx 35 minute. I am really impressed with the build of the chair, it is solid, it has adjustable height settings and more importantly, the arm rests are adjustable so you can flip them up if you need to be closer to your desk/table. The back support is so comfortable that I tend to use the chair when I am watching TV as well as after working. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

Comfortable nice looking chair. I like the pale grey, it lifts the room. The chair was quite squeaky and creaky from the start. Sounded like a heavy person had been sat on it for some time. Doesn’t glide very easily and have to push a bit sometimes. However, I can sit quite comfortably for 8+ hours a day with no aches and pains. I’m 5’2 and 9 stones. Husband is nearly 6′ and 14stones and he does not find it as comfortable. Fold up arms are great. It rocks a little but I don’t feel very secure doing this.
Overall a nice comfy chair for a price that is maybe a bit more than it should be due to demand.

Lovely chair for the price. Was getting backache using my dinning chair so this has offered better support and eased the discomfort. Fairly easy to assemble, managed on my own but two people doing it would be a bit quicker. Only slight annoyance is that the lever is quite far back and not easy to reach but that’s minor really. Generally made working from home more comfortable!

Needed a fuss-free chair with proper back support for my home office and this delivers. This was easy to assemble by 1 person. Just a tip though: don’t tighten the screws for the armrests at the bottom until after you’ve put on the back of the chair. leave it slightly loose at first so you can slightly move the armrests to the side. It’s easier to align the screw holes of the back part and the armrests that way.

I wish the material for the cushion is better though. The mesh feels a bit scratchy. Not a problem if you’re wearing pants or long skirts, but a bit uncomfortable if you’re in anything shorter.

Golden Review Award: 72 From Our UsersIf you are looking for a high quality chair that looks and feels like it is made of premium components then I would suggest that this is not the chair for you. That is not to say that there is anything wrong with this chair, it is absolutely fine. Just know what you are buying.

We needed a chair with flip up arms so that it would be able to be pushed right up to the desk. I spent a lot of time looking at all the different options on Amazon and in the end I decided to go for one of the cheaper options as I could not see a significant difference between this and the more expensive ones other than lumbar support.

This chair has no adjustable lumbar support but the back of the chair is shaped in such a way that I find it supportive and comfortable anyway. The arms flip out of the way as expected and they are padded , which quite a few other chairs in the same price band are not.

The padded seat itself is nothing special but it appears to be comfortable for now. How long it stays that way remains to be seen but I’m hopeful it will be fine for a good while yet.

The look of the chair is fine but the back looks cheap due to the amount of plastic used. It’s not awful by any means but it does look and feel cheap. It’s the sort of chair I would expect to see in a conference room in a low budget hotel, and there is nothing wrong with that.

To sit in, it is quite pleasant actually. It won’t blow you away but it will do the job.

One plus point for me is how incredibly smooth the castors are on this. I don’t know if our old chair had seized up a bit but as soon as I sat on this I felt like I was gliding on ice. It’s buttery smooth.

It’s also worth noting that this chair’s lowest position is slightly higher than my previous chair but we took this as a plus point as our old chair seemed to go far too low to be useful. This seems to bottom out at a reasonable height and still fits under the desk.

If you are looking for a cheap(ish), practical, no-frills desk chair with flip up arms then this is a sound purchase. If you are looking for something that looks a bit classy or a step above the norm, then I would keep looking.

I wanted to buy a much more expensive chair but could justify it but I needed to sit on something more comfortable than the dining chairs whilst working at home. My body would be screaming at the end of the day. I researched and found Comhoma chair thinking I could justify dumping it if it was no good! It is brilliant – easy to assemble, not too bulky so I can push into a corner when not in use and it’s very comfortable. I bought some caster cups to save my wooden floor and all in all I’m delighted with the purchase and so is my poor old body!

Had this for a couple of weeks now and it’s pretty perfect. I got the grey as I’ve turned my dressing room into an office space so doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb too much. So my views…
    – Not bad looking
    – Good back support
    – Comfy cushion so far (although don’t think it’ll be comfy in summer on bare legs due to the material but I’ll just sit on a old tshirt or blanket)
    – Cushioning on the arms but same material as the seat, not the comfiest on bare skin
    – Arms are a little low I think but as they tilt upwards I leave on an angle for a slightly higher support
    – Wheels not the greatest on laminate but it’ll do
    – Adjustable seat height is fine and tilting/rocking back ( I don’t use it but seems to work fine)
    – Easy to put together (other half did it in less than 15 mins but make sure you listen to other reviews and don’t tighten the arms before putting the back on)
    – Not sure how long the chair will last but for the price if I get a year out of it I’ll be happy
I put 4 for everything as it isn’t perfect or the best chair you can get but for the price it is definitely worth it. No issues with speaking, tilting forward, rips or anything like some other comments…maybe I was just lucky.

The chair is great, I bought this in the lockdown while doing work from home and getting a sore back from working at a desk all day. This chair provided good support and feels fairly sturdy. Not bad value for money. The assembly was easy and didn’t take too long. The only issue I’ve had was the arm supports came a little lose but that could be down to my assembly skills…

I would recommend this chair for students as it has been particularly useful for a few hours of study. However, if you’re working long days (+5) I don’t think this chair would provide quite enough support as the bottom of the chair does become uncomfortable to sit on after a few hours – perhaps a more supportive chair is appropriate for you.

I had been using my old wooden kitchen chair since the COVID kicked off. My back was terrible and I decided to get a new chair from Amazon. After I searched for several days, I wanted to get this one as the price and explanations were okay.

The item was delivered within 1-2 days after I bought it. First all, it is easy to assembly which makes me fantastic as I don`t have the required stuff at home. Besides, the allen key was included inside the box. We just assembled within 10 minutes as the explanations are really easy to follow. We couldn`t first adjust the tilt as we assembled the main mechanism of the chair in the wrong direction. Be careful about that. Otherwise, you start to think that the chair is terrible and you feel as if you fall down from the chair

I have been using the chair for 3 days and I love it. It is really comfortable and handy. I will definitely recommend those of you who work at home and use old wooden chairs.

Arm rest, back support, height wise everything looks good. Pneumatic also works fine at the bottom so far to adjust the height. Only pushing back is not that comfortable. Rest everything is excellent. Over all it is a great and comfortable chair to have at home especially it is very useful for the people who are working from home.

All I can say is that it worth every penny . I suffer of sciatica and in the last 5 years I think I have bought and changed 20 chairs for my desk . Spend 200-300 pounds for them but none of them helped me with my lower back pain . I have seen this chair and for the price I said is going to be last one and I can tell you that this chair is the best one so far . Is cheap but it helps my back so well. I can sit for hours on it and it supports my back so nice . Very easy to assemble and is a small and so comfortable chair . My pregnant wife loves it as well. Great value, comfortable and stylish chair. Just make sure you put the bottom of the chair on the right way! I initially put it on the wrong way and the chair had a slight lean forward and couldn’t be tilted backwards at all ( I’ve seen many reviews complaining about this as well- this is because it is put together wrong and it is not a fault with the chair). Once I had it the right way round, it’s very comfortable, can be adjusted in height easily and can be tilted back a lot if you pull the lever out rather than up and down. It also looks stylish in my kitchen with my grey table and chairs. No complaints for only 90!

This chair is OK but not the best out there. The back tilts backwards but not fully so it’s not as comfortable as I thought it would be. Assembling it is not the easiest thing in the world. Step 5 should be done before step 4 (Kudos for one reviewer who pointed this out – it’s practically impossible to do step 4 before!). Overall, this is a good chair for its value.

  57. BillLeggeydk says:

TLDR: Requires some force to assemble. Arm rests not even when in the up position. Looks great. Comfortable.

Overall, great chair and a big upgrade from my previous chair. Comfort is great and it looks really good.

Material could be a little more grippy to prevent your bum sliding forward but I’ve not used a mesh chair until this one so it could be normal. This is only slight and not a big deal.

My only real issue was assembly. It’s reasonably straight forward, but getting the back piece to line up with the arms in order to bolt it on was very awkward and took considerable force to pry the arm rests apart in order for the holes to line up with those on the back rest. It felt like the back was too wide for the rest of the chair. When the arm rests are the in the up position, one arm rubs against the side of the back rest while the other one doesn’t. Slightly aggravates my OCD. Luckily I rarely need to raise the arms so it’s not really a big deal.

PROS: The chair is very comfortable, I use it for at least 8 hours a day and have no complaints there.
CONS: The main problem is the awful noise it makes when you tilt forward or back, the first time I heard it I was sure the chair was cracking in two. Its so bad that when I’m on calls, I can’t move at all because the noise is so bad. I’ve taken it all apart and put back together to make sure the parts were not broken but its just very creaky.
The chair was hard to put together, the back would not connect to the arms with the seat already attached… ended up switching the instructions around and attaching the back to the arms before attaching the seat.

Provides reasonable support for the price paid, alignment for screw holes slightly out had to a little bit of force to get to line up. Overall comfort of chair good, although the back rest adjustment when spring tension fully off was still quite stiff to move to a more reclined position.

Nice chair! Was unsure when I first sat In it. Others thought the same when I had them test it, that you felt like you wanted to be further back into the chair. I’m a music producer rolling between different keyboards and guitars and long periods of mouse and keyboard editing. Over 2 weeks and not been a problem. Good chair in all, would recommend!

Very good chair. For the price I feel like it could have a few more features abs slightly better quality for the seat and mesh back.

I found the assembly to be straight forward until it came to adding the back on, found it extremely difficult and hard to get it into place.

Other than that I would say it’s definitely a good product and is comfortable for sure, only comfort issue Iv had is that the high is slightly low on it and it occasionally dips down a bit when sat on.

Does what it says it does.

This chair save my days. I started to feel pain like sciatic because of the chair I use home since I work remotely, so I bought this. Honestly it is a great addition to my home, very light, soft, solid and confortable. My pain was reduced and the flexibility of the chair allows me to stretch a bit so I’m not too static. I would definetly recommend to buy this chair if you are low in budget but want a classy decent chair for long hours working.

The chair is comfortable, although I wish it lifted an inch or so higher, and is so much better than using my dining room chair to work from home during lockdown. It was easy to assemble alone (I’m a 50 year old woman) and seems sturdy enough. Its quite heavy so you might want to put it together in situ.

Bought this as desk chair for myself – I am only 5 ft and found that in order to use the chair on the lowest height setting, the lumbar support pressed into my buttocks exacerbating back pain. Hence 4 stars. Gave to my 6.3 ins grandson who says its the most comfortable chair he has ever had… airmesh structure, ergonomic back support – all as on sellers website… I feel that they should just add that this fantastic chair is more suitable to medium to tall people

i got the chair specifically for the arm folding feature, and tilt mechanism. my chair does not tilt despite trying what instructions say, making it not so comfortable for my back. the wheels are also not smooth rolling. materials look a bit cheap too, overall expected more from it, feels a bit like false advertising.

Great chair , when building put the arms on the back then the combined arms & base to the seat base, it’s easier than putting the arms on the seat then squeezing in the back as per the instructions , just a tip. Good chair though , very comfy for my large posture.

Golden Review Award: 46 From Our UsersI also have the other popular COMHOMA chair (URL below) so I shall compare them; it will be referenced (C2) in the text.
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/COMHOMA-Ergonomic-Flip-up-Armrest-Support/dp/B08BHT6PTZ/ref=pd_rhf_sc_p_img_13?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=CAYY5D4QTG33QBX9V460

What I like about this chair (C1) is:
    1. it’s lightweight and easily moved over all surfaces (as is C2).
    2. the seat is quite comfortable though a little wider, thicker and more firm than (C2) which has a softer seat.
    3. the padded armrests fold back out of the way (as do C2).

    Observations about both chairs:
    4. they are very easy to assemble.
    5. the chairs use the same base and the same gas lift piston.
    6. the chairs are supplied with spare bolts & washers.
    7. there’s no lumbar support on either chair and that suits me.
    8. (C2) appears marginally more robust than (C1) due to the arrangement of the seat-to-back connection.

What I dislike about chair (C1) is:
    9. the armrests have an unnecessary gap between the lower support and the upper padded section enticing exploration by little fingers that could get caught, which is bad enough, but made worse by the sharp edges of the unfinished moulding hiding inside. These are easily filed down but please make sure you do before the inquisitive children arrive eager to use you PC..

What I dislike about both chairs is:
    10. they use only an 8″ gas lift piston that gives only about 4″ of height increase that’s too low for my 6′ frame especially when when the PC screen is on a raised platform on the desk. So I replaced both pistons from BiMi.
It’s a pity that COMHOMA don’t offer a piston length selection especially as the difference is only a few pounds, but I was aware of the likelihood of this and the chairs are still good value overall. Besides I have renewed an otherwise constantly sinking old chair with one of the now spare pistons.

So which chair do I prefer? I really cannot choose, both are comfortable enough for long term use; I can only hope my comments help someone.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersNow, once and for all, there’s nothing wrong with this chair! It’s VERY comfortable and supports your back properly while you’re working at the desk. And (at the moment at least), it’s not expensive.
    1. How can you fit the seat the wrong way round? There’s a sewn-in label marked “Front” on the underside of the seat, and the mechanism you attach also has “Front” stamped into the metal.
    2. As with all such kits, DON’T fully tighten the bolts until you have ALL of them in position. That will allow you to adjust the position of the arms as you fit them to the seat and the back.
    3. No, you can’t adjust the rake of the seat back — it’s fixed as it comes. The word “Tilt” is a bit misleading as all you can do is to pull the seat lever out one inch and rock the whole seat backwards and forwards. Who knows why you should want to do that — it serves no purpose! If you must do it, then you might need to fully undo the large adjustment knob under the seat, otherwise the rocking movement is very stiff.
    4. Yes, the cushion is not very deep from front to back. Personally, I like it like that, and both my wife and I find it very comfortable although she is much smaller than me.

I have bought this for daily home office use and this chair has been very comfortable. For heavy weight users too, this has a wide seat base and is build from good quality materials making it risk free and reliable.

The only thing I am unhappy about is the back, there is solid support, or decent curves to give your that relaxing feeling when you lean back on it – it feels cheap when you lean back. The net fabric I suppose needs to have a structure supporting its curves to press against your shoulder blades and spine for that back cracking and relaxing feel. However, its minor and you can oversee it in daily use. You won’t notice it, I did.

Easy to assemble and decent stuff. Was shipped from Germany but is a Chinese make.

Cons: 1. Had a couple of minor chips when taken out of the packaging. Nothing serious so did not call up the seller. But when buying new, wouldn’t expect it to be there.

    2. Its decently strong but not quite as sturdy as the chairs found in offices. Been using it for 2+ months (full-day) now and it does the job but could have been stronger.

Bought this chair to replace my old one, as I’ve been working from home since late-March. The armrests on my old chair were plastic with no cover and was causing me a lot of pain on my elbows. I bought this one on a lightning deal and once assembled, it’s a comfortable chair with padding in all the right places. Having the armrests swivel up is a massive plus, because I can fully tuck the chair under my desk, saving more space in my room. The only negative for me is that the chair just isn’t high enough at it’s highest setting. I’ve had to lower my monitor to compensate. Other than that it was a worthwhile purchase.

    UPDATE
I bought a new standing desk and this chair is simply not high enough. I ended up having to buy a new gas cylinder that will take my chair higher. Still a comfy chair but I wouldn’t recommend for anyone whose height is close to 6f

Golden Review Award: 114 From Our UsersIt arrived very quickly, was well packaged and the basic pictorial instruction sheet was easy to follow and all the screws and allen key are included.
I had no problem assembling the chair but two people will make the job much easier. It took approximately 20 minutes to complete.
The seat is comfortable and the gas lift mechanism works well. The tilting doesn’t lock into place (I’m not sure if it’s supposed to) and it moves when you push against the chair back but it doesn’t feel like you’re going to fall backwards..!
The swivel arm rests are perfect for tucking the chair under your desk/table and they lift up and down easily, also the chair wheels move easily over carpet.
Back support is very comfortable for me and the different seat height settings are good (I’m 5’5″).
As I’ve only just got the chair I can only say what my first impressions are so will update this review in a month or so but I’m impressed!

Golden Review Award: 186 From Our UsersThe main reason I went for this one was the different and unusual back design, and the foldable arms.

I will say the quality is only fine, it’s not very premium but is ok overall. Little rough around the edges but it’s been working mostly fine so far for me.

I’ve noticed a few reviews saying it leans forward when sitting on it, if that’s happening it means the base of the chair has been attached the opposite way around. I found the instructions seemed to indicate that way, but the bottom of the chair and metal bracket of the base contains arrows showing the right way to mount it.

Only one issue I’ve noticed is the height I’ve set it at sometimes goes down when I sit on it, other times it stays locked at the height I’ve set.

A good and comfortable desk chair overall.

    Good quality chai

Decent value for money of you want a light use office chair. The seat hasn’t got enough padding to be comfortable for more than an hour or 2 at a time though which is a shame. Its stable and adjustable height and no wobble between the seat amd the base unit. I’ll need to find an alternative for working at home simply due to the lack of depth or support in the seat padding.

This chair is easy to assemble, would be nice to add a link to a video setup. I was surprised how comfortable the chair is and easy to manoeuvre. The only thing I am currently struggling with is the tilt, this feature does not seem to be working and I do not want to force the back of the chair. I still consider it a good buy without the tilt feature.

Package arrived in under 24h. Took about 45 mins to assemble including 15 mins unpacking. Everything was well wrapped and the instructions easy to follow. A few reviews have commented that they did step 5 then 4, I don’t think it matters so long as you half tighten the screws on each step then fully tighten once the back of the chair is in place.

I haven’t used the chair in anger yet but first impressions are that is much more comfortable than anything I tried at a similar price point in Ikea, back feels well supported and the base has ample padding, the lifting arms are a nice handy touch. Hopefully it stands up to daily use as my first impressions are very positive

Golden Review Award: 62 From Our UsersThis chair is easy to assemble. Personally I don’t know why it says it needs 2 people to build it but maybe I’m just a really good chair assembler! I have given this 3 stars because the chair has a slight forward tilt which I don’t think can be rectified. I feel like I’m permanently bending forward. I have started with a bad back but it would be unfair to say it was due to the chair. I have also been doing some DIY which involves bending over and using muscles not used in years. Why mention the bad back? Well just in case it is caused by the chair. You can’t then say that I didn’t mention it!
Edit: I put the bottom frame on the wrong way round, hence the tilt! Pretty sure I followed the pictures but hey I own up to that mistake. Now its on right, it’s much better and gains a star. Still only 4 because the arm rests are a bit uncomfortable, like the padding isn’t thick enough.
Edit 2: I’m obviously not a master chair builder as implied above.

he chair is comfortable and very easy to assemble. the only downside is that it does not lift very high and leaves you feeling rather low when sitting at a standard height desk or table to work on a computer or laptop I bought this because the hydraulics on my previous chair had failed but this chair is the same height when fully raised as the previous chair in the lowest position.

I am really pleased with this purchase, after looking at numerous chairs online I was apprehensive about buying without trying (due to lockdown). But the chair is exactly as described, looks better in real life than in the pictures, is comfy and was easy to assemble on my own. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a working from home chair. I like the slim design and the arm folding feature makes the chair easy to stow away under the desk. The only feature the chair does not have is the ability to lock the angle of the backrest, but I haven’t found this an issue for me personally, as the backrest does tilt and you can adjust the flexibility of the tilt from loose to tight.

Got this to replace a basic a basic crappy school chair in my dorm. It has a larger than I’m used to ‘seat’ and combined with the tilt function and the raising arm rests it allows for some of my awkward sitting positions.

My only concern is the arm rests are feeling slightly weaker than when I got it a week ago. Probably my fault as I tend to lift myself out of the chair using them occasionally.

The back rest can be awkward for slightly taller people like myself (186cm) as it arks forward and has no cushioning but so long as you keep an upright back you’ll be fine.

Golden Review Award: 117 From Our UsersAfter 8 years of having a chair that I thought was ideal. This has smashed it. The cushion is so comfortable and I love the mesh. The chair is amazing. It has a rocking feature that I love and as soon as I sat on it I felt soothed. It’s very airy and light, but very relaxing. No weird leather passing it’s all cloth. A real ergonomic chair. The cushion is very nice as are the arm rests. This is a chair for productivity, forget those crappy ceo chairs made of fake leather pvc. Some of you may have looked at the ikea flintan. The flintan is complete garbage compared to this. Lastly the seller GTPlayer is an amazing seller, quick response too. I work nights so I’ve messaged them early in the morning and got a response within 20 mins. I believe they’re based in China so their time is 8 hours ahead. The seller is real and will deal with any query and help. So don’t be worried at all.

I didn’t have any expectations for this chair but I’m very surprised.

It’s a lot comfier than I thought it would be, it seems like it will last a while (I will try to remember to update after about half a year)

It’s fairly easy to assemble, it suggests 2 people build it but it’s easy enough by yourself. It isn’t too heavy once it’s built but it does feel fairly sturdy.

The instructions aren’t incredibly clear on which way to place the lean back feature thing, and so i originally put it the wrong way, but it was an easy fix (even after its been fully built)

I enjoy sitting in it, I hope it lasts because if it does. I’ll continue to shop with this seller.

    Positives
    * At this price point you won’t find a better chair on amazon
    * the cushioned arms rest and lumbar support are top notch
    * looks great

    Negatives
    * There are certain fabrics which stick to the backrest and can leave cotton buds attached after sitting down.
    * By fat the biggest gripe is the chair does squeak when I adjust my position a lot more than other chairs I’ve had in the past which can make it feel cheap at times.

    Overall 8/10

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersNo more neck and shoulder pain. Yay. Very comfy indeed. Didn’t think I’d like the rocking mode, but yes I do. It’s so relaxing. The flip up arms mean it can be tucked under the desk at the end of the day. Would have liked the the arms to have been height adjustable but can’t complain for the price. The front of the seat doesn’t tilt as I expected and is a tiny bit high for me (5’1) but I need a foot rest anyway so that’s sorted. Assembly was fun being a lone person, but not too arduous, & managed it in about 20 mins. It comes with everything you need. No hunting for a screwdriver etc. It did start to creak after a week or so of prolonged daily use, but a bit of WD40 sorted it out. Very happy with this chair.

I am only 5ft4, size 12, so may not be suitable for taller or bigger people as the seat is not very deep.
