Don’t use on wallpape
These were recommended by my daughter so they definitely work on painted surfaces.
Unfortunately, I wanted to put pictures up on a papered wall. They stuck for a little while and then fell off. They do warn you in the instructions. Only knocked a star off because they didn’t suit my purpose
I read the reviews before I bought these strips, but went ahead and tried them anyway (on a painted wall I didn’t care about). I really wanted to see if there was a way to hang pictures without damaging walls. They worked for me woo hoo! But ONLY after I worked out the technique. The strips come with specific, simple instructions, so follow them to the letter. The one thing that perfected the system for me is: the first time you “click” the Velcro strips together (if you follow the instructions you’ll understand this bit), do it very lightly (not thoroughly like I did the first time I tried). The reason being that immediately after you first stick your picture to the wall, the first thing you have to do after that is gently take the picture back off again, leaving one set of sticky strips on the wall. If you’ve clicked your strips together initially too thoroughly, it will take all the strips off the wall at this point, with paint! Assuming you’ve taken the picture back off the wall successfully, follow the rest of the instructions: rub the wall strips firmly for 30 seconds each and leave for an hour for the glue to “cure” before putting your picture back on the wall. I did this – then left my picture for 3 days – it was very secure, then took it off the wall I didn’t care about and removed the strips left on the wall per instructions. Amazing! Neither I nor my partner could believe it! No damage whatsoever. Make sure you use the correct strips (and the correct amount of strips) for the size and weight of your pictures.

So easy to use on materials. I used it to stick up wood letters on the wall, they were up to 500kg and these were perfect, stuck 3-4 on each letter and stuck them to the wall with ease!! No complaints. And I love how easy they will be to remove too!
Far better than the cheaper alternative!
These hooks have been in place for 6 months now, and haven’t budged at all.
We initially used a budget version, and they began to fail the very next day.
I haven’t rated the ‘ease of removal’ due to not yet removing them, however previous use of these many years ago worked very well when the time came to remove them!
worked well for me.
very house needs these in that draw with all the other bits and bobs…. when you need them you need them… and they are a life saver. used for many thing in our house from securing balloons to a wall on birthdays to xmsas decorations just to simple photo frame hanging… and remove without a single mark!

One of the standout features of Command Strips is their incredible ease of use. The application process couldn’t be simpler. Perfec
Love that I no longer have to hammer nails in my walls to hang pictures. I even hung a wooden coat hanger and it’s still on the wall. Would definitely recommend
Moving into a new rental house these are perfect to help put up pictures etc to make it your own and I love how they can be removed with now damage at the end of the tenancy.
Always use these
I use these even if im hanging something with a picture hook, to secure the bottom of the frame to the wall which means it doesn’t move or rattle in high wind. I use them for all kinds of things not just pictures and they are brilliant, just don’t stick them on wallpaper!
Good product for light wall hangings
Reasonably prices alternative to putting nails, screws, fixtures, etc into walls, esp plasterboard. Easily hung up a light (<1kg) picture with only two strips. Be interesting to see how many strips heavier pictures take, and if the paint doesnt come off when removing down the road...
I used these command strips on 3 large A1 prints and frames. I have recently decorated the bedroom and didn’t want to be drilling holes in the wall. I used two command strips on each wooden frame and they have held perfectly. However, the frames I have are on the lighter side as they are perspex fronted as opposed to glass so you may need to use more. The package does indicate that they can hold up to 7KG if the correct instructions are followed. I’ll be using these in future.
Super easy and worked perfectly
Hung up several frames in my room, super easy to do and so happy with results
Perfect for hanging things up where you don’t want to drill holes and/or may want to remove in the future.
I was pretty dubious about them before I bought a pack. Now I can’t wait to find places to use them. The video shows an Ikea pegboard I’ve put on the side of my storage wardrobe in my study.
Another place I’ve used them is to secure pieces from my exhibition stand where previously I had to manually screw each piece in. Using these command strips has more than halved the time it takes to put the stand together and is more than secure enough for its use.
I’ve seen third party copies of these but personally I’d be too nervous to use them in case they aren’t great quality. At this price, I’m happy to not take the risk and stick to the OEM brand.
Best brand
Great hold these are the best brand I’ve used but I’ve not taken them off so wouldn’t know if it takes off half the wall with them like previous brands I’ve used of the stickers
Picture hanging
Very useful – does what it says on the packe
These have been my product of choice for hanging pictures for some time now. I love how easy they are to use and so far have not let me down.
What I like:
– easy to peel the backing off and position on the frame and the wall
– incredibly strong and do allow an element of adjustment once adhered to the wall
– so far they have never damaged any wall not even leaning any mark or residue on the painted surface
– love the fact I don’t have to hammer nails into the wall
What I don’t like:
– as you need two for each corner they’re not the cheapest of hanging solutions
– also due to using two via the velcro, they can make your pictures sit slightly proud of the wall
– they can cause a little anxiety at first as you’re unsure whether they’ll hold or come crashing down in the nigh
Does the trick, every time!
I’ve used these religiously since my collage days (when I lived in student housing and couldn’t put nails in the wall). We’ve had a lot of earthquakes recently in Iceland and everything stayed in place
Amazing
I use these to hang photos around the home
Rather than using a hammer
They are with it and can hold some heavy pictures with the more you use

So far so good :)
I’m incredibly easy to use, have hung x4 mirrors with them and they don’t seem to be going anywhere. Perfect for not putting holes into walls.

Very good
I’ve used these a few times now and I’ve never had anything fall down.
I think you need to use common sense if you feel something needs a screw to hold it up it probably does if its something without too much weight then these should work fine.
Game changers
Amazing product and only your imagination is the limit, I have used these to put up whiteboards, blinds, mirrors – anything you can name is possible to do with this key ingredient, no screwing into walls needed. For big items, I just use loads in a series. Nothing I have put up has gone down yet, It’s been over a year.

Holds up my pictures
I always use more of these than recommended around the picture frame otherwise I find they do not hold as well and over time pictures fall off so make sure you buy more than you think.
I Only Wish I Found These Sooner. Perfect For Mark/Stain-Free Hanging.
Used these to hang some Acoustic Foam Panels from ArrowZoom without damaging the underlying wallpaper/paint, and they work like MAGIC.
Before, I used Double-Sided Tape or Black Sticky Pads which kept failing when the room gets too hot or humid, and had a bad time removing hideous marks on the walls after taking those off that practically fused to the wall better than they held up the panels – or even resulted in the horror of tearing the Paint/Wallpaper.
I have all my panels hung using these Commands Strips now ( Just 1 pair of medium or large strip per panel since they are inexpensive, 1 on the back of the panel and 1 on the wall).
They have never fell off, stuck on quickly and easily after cleaning the surface with Isopropyl Alcohol.
When removing all it took was a swift pull in the direction of the arrow shown on the back and they came off super easy with NO MARKS!
I only regret that I didn’t use these before, now ANYTHING going on a wall without drilling will be done so with these strips because I now know that it has amazing adhesion to hold it well whilst being able to be removed easily without leaving any marks.

incredible!
had 4 lovely mirrored pictures to hang in a 2×2 orientation. These are not light at nearly 2kg each and had two d loops on the back for a picture wire . Previous experience told me that hanging these accurately and nicely aligned with picture wire is almost , if not impossible. I wanted a very neat and precise solution. I bought the large mounting strips for extra security. Fitting was a breeze, following the instructions exactly.
I used 4 pairs of strips per picture , but I believe I could have got away with only 2 pairs now fitted. The connection is via almost stickle brick type connection between the two halves. Providing you hear them crunch together these provide an incredibly strong connection.Very neat and secure! Highly recommended
Great if you're rubbish at DIY! (Like me)
Command strips are on walls in almost every room in our house. I think we have around 20 pieces of artwork hanging with these. Being rubbish at DIY, means these are a godsend. No nails required and they hold up some pretty heavy pictures.
These strips use 3M adhesive which is pretty-much the best you can get. It doesn’t ruin the walls but it does leave a mark and can take the paint off if you snatch them off.
The velcro fastening is sturdy and has never failed me. Just make sure you push the picture firming onto the wall so you can hear the velcro on the picture, fasten into place with the velcro on the wall.
The only downside to these command strips is if you are in an old house. Our house is 150 years old, has cold brick walls. The glue on the wall strip sometimes doesn’t like being hot, cold, hot, cold, on the walls where you may have a matt or gloss paint. I’ve had occasions where I come back from holiday and a piece of art or a picture is on the floor. On a couple of times it has crashed to the floor, damaging the skirting board and then breaking the picture frame.
Would I trust them with the Mona Lisa? No. But they are great if your photos or paintings are fairly lightweight or if you live in a house where the walls are plasterboard, and not cold brickwork.
Recommended. 4/5
Definitely capable of holding heavy stuff
I live in a rented flat and don’t want to drill any holes in the wall, since I’ll have to cover them up when I leave. Because of this, I had my IKEA Skadis pegboards precariously leaning on the radiator, which wasn’t ideal.
One day I just decided to try these picture hanging strips. I’ve used them for artwork before, but never something I deemed heavy enough to make me afraid it might just fall and break into pieces. Well, I’m here to say the heavy ones (“for up to 8kg,” they say) work wonderfully. They’re still above the radiator, but now they’re properly on the wall and I can use them without fear of dropping anything. The pegboard works fantastically, too.
Potential knock-off produc
These arrived in a lovely envelope but they were not in their original packaging. Not sure if it’s a knock-off or parts from a larger multipack. They seem to work okay so far though.
Excellent quality
Excellent quality product. Have used quite a lot of these for picture hanging. One accident suggests taking 7.2kg weight capacity may be overly optimistic, but for general photo frames and canvas prints works very well. Easy to put up, easy to take out. Price could be lower….but may be quality justifies the cost!
No more drilling!!
Great for hanging light pictures to the wall. Only left this for stars as when I took the picture down to swap it with another it pulled the strips from the wall too. I have no doubt the picture would of stayed up had I not disturbed it. Will be using these all the time now to save drilling.
Fantastic, but needs a very flat surface
I used these to hang wine bottle holders on the wall (2 bottles at a time). They stayed up for a year with no sign of an issue. After that I wanted to move them to the opposite wall so I used the command strips again. A day or so later wine started falling off the wall. Short story – it’s because the opposite wall is not perfectly flat, very lightly wavy in it’s finish. I had to screw the holders in the end becaue I’m not confident that the wine bottles will be onuncy after numerous falls of about five feet.
I’ve used command strips for numerous other things in other parts of the house uncluding the little shelf/holder things for the shower that come with them and they are perfect for the job.
There’s nothing wrong with command strips I’m just saying that you should check that the surface that you intend to mount them on should be checked first else you’ll be testing how well the things that you hang can bounce.
They really work!
My new house is a new build property and I’m not allowed to put any fittings into the wall so I done some research on sticky items and these strips seemed to be the best. I am so surprised at how well they work! Each item in the pictures has 4 strips on them and have been up for about a month. I made sure to follow the instructions and actually left them overnight before I put them up rather than the recommended hour just to be double sure they were settled. I am really impressed at how secure they feel. The canvas and clock are pretty big but not that heavy but seems to be holding well with the 4 strips.
Great for Hanging photos on walls.
I got these to hang photos on puzzle frames on walls. The instructions are quite easy to understand and the adhesion is very good. I did put extra strips for larger frames for extra security and piece on mind.
The only downside from these strips is it can rip away the paint if you ever do wanna pull these strips off or if you accidently stick it to the wrong place.
But overall i am quite happy with this product and it saves me from putting holes in my wall.
Good for hanging pictures.
I had not seen these before until a family member recommended them to me. I had just decorated my new flat and did not want to spoil it with nailing things to hang my pictures. I used these and they are really good easy to use and remove if you need to reposition them again, for the price I think they are a great idea. I will use them again and have recommended them to friends as well.
Deliverys was good as always.
Standard, easy to use
I would never use nails to hang on pictures, again.
Good stuff
First of all item was left outside where any body could take it. Fortunately no one stole it. As for the item itself. I’ve used them before and do the job.I bought them to put up acoustic foam panels to the walls and some on the ceiling. Don’t remove From the surface you’re sticking it to more than once as they lose their stick IE the sticky pa
Amazing
Super easy to use and really good when you can’t drill the walls to hand frames.
Simple objects.
Few weeks in .. No problem so far. After reading so many negative reviews i wasn’t too sure but to be honest some lacked common sense. Why would anyone use these little stickers for a risky object like a glass mirror is beyond me. Simple frames or canvas is best and it has worked for us.
It sticks very well
I use this item to hang pictures on the wall. You’ve got to be careful of the weight of the frame, as to which size adhesion you use. The bigger the frame, the bigger the adhesion. Other than that it sticks very well.

I use these all the time now for hanging pictures, they are an amazing product, whoever invented them are genius!!!
It’s not fallen off the wall ye
It’s still stuck to the wall so it works at least. I’ve not tried taking it off yet though
These are fantastic
Makes life easy, hung a few canvas prints on the walls, it’s so simple. No mess or fuss.
Brilliant produc
Bought 3 packs already!
Great stuff. Just moved into an apartment and didn’t want to use nails. Placed many little and small pictures up with these! Best part is; I removed one (A5 size) as I didn’t like the placement and using the same adhesive managed to place it elsewhere. Not only did it come off ridiculously easily, it didn’t leave any mark. Amazing how such little things have that much power. I haven’t used on anything exceedingly heavy like a mirror, but highly recommend for small and bigger picture frames.
Best I have found
Always use Command strips for picture hanging and they are great.
The only downside is that over time (im talking over a year), they adhesion to the wall may give up. This may be the way I am using them as sometimes I have been guilty of using larger ones than can fit on a frame edge so air may be getting to the adhesive and drying it out.
All in all though I am very happy with them, and these packs are good value as they come in OEM packaging.
Perfect for damage free picture hanging.
These are incredible, easy to use and remove, with no damage.
Worth noting that with canvas pictures it’s best to trim the edge back and adhere to the frame. Other than that it’s an easier, kinder way to decorate. No more lining up hooks, pictures falling or sitting at angles, or damage to walls. A fantastic invention.
Love these
These are so easy to install and stick very well! The only potential issue is if you dont clean the surfaces properly as instructed then they won’t stay quite so well. So make sure you follow the instructions carefully!

Using this for acoustic foam is brillia
Each strip could support a full x24 box of acoustic foam, so cut each into x4 smaller pieces x2 per tile ideal for a box of 24 acoustic tiles
Very good alternative to no more nails or actual nails and screws
Excellent product. Strong adhesive properties, simple to use with adequate instructions provided. I used mine to hole up a full length mirror on a painted bedroom wall. Used four large strips, one on either corner. Lasted a very long time, 18 months+ (think it may have been longer) before finally falling off, and that was where the velcro had given up, not the adhesive backing on the wall. I then peeled off the old ones from the wall, and to my great surprise, they come off smoothly and left no marks!!! I have since used a fresh set (used 6 this time) and there is no sign of my mirror moving anytime soon. Highly recommended product, even at full price. At my time of purchase they were cheaper on amazon than anywhere else, Argos, screwfix, wilkos etc. I got them on offer so even better. My only negative was the package was broken when delivered but thankfully the strips backing protectors were still attached and all strips were present and accounted for. I will be using these deffo in the future for picture frames etc.
Use but check regularly
I’ve have a love/hate relationship with these things. The most common item on my subscription list for the longest time, but I had a couple of occasions where they just stopped working and fell off the wall.
So now I periodically make sure everything is pressed to the wall firmly to avoid accidents.
Right now everything on my walls is mounted with these things, so being woken in the dead of night by something crashing to the floor isn’t a pleasant experience.
So use them but check them regularly!
Used to hang everything!
We’ve been using these for a while now and I’m so happy I found them. The pictures are secure and are easy to remove too.
As described
14 pairs as described.
The best thing to put up canvases on the wall or stick up almost everything even on furniture as a desk. I’m happy wirh it.
Just what I needed.
Hard to drill holes in my home so these do the job perfectly and don’t ruin the paint work if you want to move things around or change pictures in the frames.
Fantastic
I love these they hold up all my pictures and I’ve never had one fall off.
Easy to use and easy to remove leaving no sign they were ever there.
Perfect 🖼
These are so good if like me you want to hang a picture near a light switch and you’re not quite sure where the wires are in the wall! There’s no way I’d use a nail so with these I can hang them anywhere with no worries. They are super strong and hold even heavy picture frames easily! My go to product that I always have in the DIY drawer.
Does what it says on the packe
I must admit I was a bit dubious about these at first. They didn’t seem very sticky and we’re difficult to line up. I measured and marked up where to put the strips on the wall and frame. Definitely need to allow them to dry and takes a bit on lining up and pressure for them to stick but have put 4 photos up now and all stayed up. No damage to newly painted walls either.
