Cannot recommend this too highly. The second I have used. They are silent, the fan often not moving for long periods, the vent over it barely warm. Power supplies are the most important thing when building a PC, economising on them is silly. They come with an adaptor plate if your case requires ATX. They are fully modular, so you don’t clutter up a small case with lots of unused cables. I have had several psu issues in the past but confidently expect these ones to outlast the machines they are installed in. Perfect for a mini itx system.
The short cables makes it difficult or impossible to wind behind the case. I’m sure this depends on the case, but mine is on the smaller medium side so I feel like is should be possible. Other than that, it is compact and functions well.
This power supply from Corsair is a must for anyone who wants to build a Small Form Factor PC. The cables are a plus… They are flexible and easy to manage. Great for small pcs. Also, 750w is enough to handle even a power-hungry RTX 3090… I couldn’t be more satisfied with my purchase!
Installed in a Lian Li ITX case with 3 fans, a Aorus motherboard, 3600 AMD CPU and a RTX 2060.
Zero problems and no noticeable noise well at least nothing I can hear over the GPU.
I guess you should not notice a PSU if it doing its job and does not break. Well this is sure the case with this PSU in my set up. Glad I paid the little bit extra for a quality platinum given how much energy costs have increased.

Was replacing my old PSU due to fan noise issues, and I can safely say that the fan in this PSU is outstanding. It turns off completely when not under load, and even under load it is barely audible.
On to the strange issues, my PC posted just fine after swapping out power-supplies but then refused to post more than once. Tried again in the morning and it was fine, but it was definitely the power supply as I had not touched anything else in the system at all. Either way, all is well now and I am really happy with this unit, Corsair has become my new PSU manufacturer of choice.
Running aN AMD 5700X CPU, 3080, 32gigs of ram and tons of fans and it works well.
Seems like a good unit. Cables provided are wrapped in what feels like a good sturdy sheath but the cables themselves aren’t very long at all, I needed to buy an extension kit to be able to use the psu and unfortunately it doesn’t come with spare screws for using the mounting bracket should you need to. I had to scavenge some spare ones from an old pc to be able to mount the psu and bracket to the chassis. Other than that it’s grea
I bought this PSU to replace an old & oversized 850W Gold unit.
Absolutely amazing how much power you can fit into 1/3 the volume!
And I have never been able to hear it even when powering an RTX 3080.
More than anything though, the Corsair SF750 Platinum is essential when building into a small case because the bundled cables are like buying high-quality sleeved models! Very soft & malleable, and just short enough for most 20-30L cases.
The cables and the 7-year warranty are enough to justify the premium price. It will last you for many builds!
It installed perfectly into my Corsair 5000D Airflow, even after a few months I still can’t hear the exhaust fan and the connector markings are supreme I extremely recommend this.
The zero rpm mode is wonderful and even while gaming i can barely hear it over the GPU fans. Modular cables means no extra cable clutter!
Owned many gold and platinum Corsair PSUs, never had any issues at all. This is no different. Small and compact, adequate cable options for main power and peripherals. Cables are nicely wrapped. Good construction and power where you need it. Also pretty much silent operation – I have never noticed the PSU over case, CPU or GPU fans. Well worth the money.
Bought for a small itx sized server build and silent operation is important to me. Don’t think I have even heard this PSU spool up once so filling that need. A little expensive but I guess you get what you pay for and I have always found Corsair to supply a quality product.
Can’t really vouch for the noise/wattage usage, I’m using this to run a R5 3600 and GTX 1650. Got the 750W to have that upgrade headroom in the future.
Sometimes I check if the fan is even running, because I don’t think I’ve ever heard it before. Incredible how quiet it is compared to my old PSU.
The 8-pin CPU connecter was a bit short for me, but just barely makes it in. The cable management is much easier with the full modularity.
Great PSU, I got it at 99 offer new so it was cheap as chips.
Enough power for all the parts I use and great braided cables.
Easy to work, silent, platinum, what else to ask…..
Excellent build quality
Nearly inaudible
Easy to install
It can handle easily high end cpus and gpus. It needs to be refreshed though with pcie 5 connectors etc.
If you need the best sfx psu, buy this and never fail
Very good reliable company trustworthy product I tend to stick to what I know all my systems have corsair parts good reliable PSU compact fan will only spin on load
If you want to trust each part of your special build pc, get one of these. I have the 450w and now the 750w. Smaller pc’s get a little hotter so it isnt just about the power drain, it is the temp it has to work in. As a person with four Seasonic psu’s in atx size for workstations, I trust two brands, and this product has the right setup.
I purchased this for my Dell i7 PC, I had one for another machine where the PSU had died, I was so impressed with that one that I thought why not go for one on my main PC.
It has 7 HDD/SSDs in, along with the controller card and and a decent nVidia GPU, so I needed the extra power as the 180W PSU in it was a bit rubbish, and the machine would reboot.
Needed a different cable to MB, small price to pay for a modular PSU where you don’t have cables hanging about that aren’t used!
Worth it? Hell Yes!!
This is a nice power supply. Its platinum rated so is at the upper end of energy efficiency but very competitively priced. I wasn’t sure 450w would be enough as it was replacing an older 600w one but this had no trouble with a quad core i7 and 750Ti GPU. The modular cables are very handy.
This is SFX (SF450) form factor so the holes wont line up with ATX mounting holes. Thankfully it comes with an SFX to ATX adapter plate which is really handy particularly if you didn’t notice that when buying it!
first time i’ve converted to itx form factor and man this this is small, efficient and quiet, not a huge corsair fanboy but this is easily the best itx psu you can get with individually sleeved cables (unlike the SF600),psu is fully modular and as anyone who has tried/likes itx you don’t have much space to having a fully modular psu is a must, would easily recommend the SF750 as the number 1 choice.
This is one of the best reviewed SFX PSUs on the market.
Fully modular cables are nice and soft/flexible unlike the gold version which were very stiff.
The unit clicks when it turns on/off which was annoying at first but actually useful
Fan is a bit loud and mine rattled for a while but settled again and hasn’t been a problem since.
Wish Corsair would include a PSU self tester though
I’m running a Ryzen 7 3700x and an RTX2070 on this and it doesn’t break a sweat. Totally silent, I haven’t seen the fan spin up once except briefly at the start of a POST.
Swaps straight in, same outputs as the sf450, don’t even have to unplug components. higher efficiency than 450 and will be perfectly comfortable with a more powerful GPU… if you can get one that is.
These had been out of stock for some time before I got the chance to buy them in January. The PSU itself is a lot smaller than normal ATX PSUs, and I was coming from an RM750x. The PSU comes with braided cables that a lot of people praised but I couldn’t really be bothered about it if it was braided or not since it’s hidden away.
The PSU does come with an ATX adapter, so this PSU is hopefully going to be staying with my for 7+ years and with the warranty.
Top quality reliability, braided cables and a good warranty. The only downside is the lack of longer cables for use with an ATX motherboard. You will need extensions for this purpose. I would recommend this item over the SilverStone SX800-LTI 800W. This was a replacement for the SilverStone PSU following an RMA.
Put this into a Mini ITX build and don’t regret buying this. I could have saved circa 20-30% going with lesser known brands, but without the confidence that it wouldn’t fail on me at some point.
This is packaged well, feels like a solid product – includes all required modular leads and will last hopefully a long time to come.
Very happy with purchase. A little pricey but you only get what you pay for I guess!
Hard to get hold of throughout the pandemic, but very glad I finally managed to get my hands on one. Quiet and efficient, it works great for my SFF PC with a 3080FE and 5600x. Good build quality and the cables that came with it were nice, individually sleeved. Absolutely no complaints.
This is a really quite power supply, the cables are really made although the some of the cables were a little bit short in my Nr200 build. I could not route some of the cable where i wanted, so had to make some compromises. However for the money it’s a steal. Really pleased with my purchase.
A really nice PSU, really quite when work load is low, and considering the size of it, highly recommended.
However, the cables are short as i use it for a Maxt case, have to buy extensions for this.
I’d appreciate this is designed for sfx, but it’d be great if Corsair could provide extra extensions for 24 pin MB / 8 pin cpu for those who need it. Sure this PSU isn’t limited to itx cases only.
I always buy corsair PSU’s as I have always found them reliable and quiet and this one certainly didn’t disappoint. The fan rarely spins up so I can keep my tiny ITX build quiet Cables are modular and flexible so work well and it looks great. I just wish SFX PSU (or PSUs in general these days) weren’t so expensive!
It’s probably the quietest one I have ever used. For a SFF case like Dan A4, the cable management is very difficult (still doable but it requires a lot patience). Overall I am very happy with this SF750. Highly recommended
Bought this back then it was on stock on amazon eu. I could not find any stock at all from the USA and had to resort to buying in the EU. Item was legit all you need is the USA plug because it come with eu power plug.
My config is:
Ryzen 5 5600XT
RX 6800
16GB 3600MHz DDR4 RAM
144Hz 1080p monitor
The fan never turned on when I am watching Twitch and web browsing, or using MS Office. In games and in Solidworks (3D CAD designing), it is as quiet as a cucumber.
Very impressed, the cables and unit are very well made but I would invest in some cable combs to make the look complete if you PC has a window.
One other thing to note, there was a recall on these buy it only effects certain serial numbers, so it’s worth checking as these are not exactly cheap power units.
While Corsair PSU are more expensive than the contemporaries, the quality and warranty makes up for the cost in my eyes.
Upgraded from the SF600 to SF750 due to RTX3080 wattage requirements. Very little visual difference with the exception of the extra PCIe cable and braided cabling. The noise is not noticeable for me.
Excellent all around PSU for SFF PCs.
This is a somewhat unusual 5* review.
I bought this back in Feb as had always been happy with the quality and performance of previous Corsair PSUs, and when I needed a new little one, happily gave them my money.
Last week it made a very exciting ‘bang’ noise tripped my RCD and was quite categorically ‘dead’.
“Arse”
At this point I girded myself for some convoluted repair process and consulted the Corsair warranty site as to my options. The nudge seemed to be to “try where you bought it from” – so with little hope I decided to engage with amazon’s online help feature the product seemed to have.
Within maybe 5 mins, I’d got a full credit to my account (no return required) and had a replacement ordered to arrive the next day – which as it’s a modular PSU, took about 5 mins to install.
Quick google didn’t reveal that there was some faulty batch of PSUs out there, my dead one was just a freak anomaly (stuff happens, I can accept this). What really impressed me was how Corsair (and/or Amazon) had put in place customer service that dealt with it in the most pain-free way I’ve ever experienced with any faulty product.
It’s really a quite magnificent feat of customer service, that I’m leaving a 5* review for how they handled a failure, when I couldn’t be bothered to leave one when the product was just working as I expected.
Was waiting for this to come back in stock for a while, and Amazon even got it before Corsair’s own website. Imo this is the best SFX power supply you can get, and despite it having a smaller fan than SFX-L PSUs it is far quieter. Waited for this one specifically due to the short braided cables that look great and allow tidier cable management. I came from a 750w ATX psu and this one for the same price is quieter, more efficient (platinum) and fully modular, with 600w being more than enough for most builds.
Cracking little thing, nice paracord sleeved cables which are a suitable length for sff builds, and a fan that can run silently when not under load (which is why you might consider buying this over a smaller PSU)
One thing I would have likes would be a selection of cable lengths, even if just the 24 pin. I think a short one, a full-size ATX one and a normal sff-lenfth one would be something I’d be willing to pay extra for. Heck, just sell it as an add-on, whatever.
I have this powering a GTX 1070 and Ryzen 7 2700. At system idle the fan doesn’t even spin up and during gaming it doesn’t increase the noise over my CPU/GPU coolers.
Cables were nice and come sleeved on the SF600 that I bought. I’ve got it installed in a DAN A4-SFX and the cable lengths are fine. I had to curl up the main 24pin, but this is ok. With it being made for ITX builds, it would be nice if it came with a shorter 24pin cable rather than so many additional unused power cables for SATA and PCIe, which will never get used.
Overall a great PSU, silent and no whine at all from mine. Can strongly recommend.
Having bought an SF450 direct from Corsair in 2016 for a budget micro-ATX build which has proved reliable, energy efficient and quiet. When another PSU of 550 watts failed in a very cluttered HTPC case Corsair’s SF range seemed the natural choice. They are fully modular, come with an SF to ATX form factor adapter plate included, which makes installing them as upgrade unit easy.
The advantage of the modularity and the compact size is that you only install the cables you need, rather than trying to tie up and hide unused cables or buy extension cables (or as some do cut off spare cables and invalidate their warranties) and that because the PSU is smaller, the volume of the case is less restricted allowing for better airflow and cooling. The fact that the fan in these SF PSUs only spins up when absolutely needed reduces the overall power consumption of the PC. The Corsair CP-9020186-UK SF750 80 Plus Platinum efficiency rated which makes it pricey but eco-friendly.
In a more spacious full tower build I have a Corsair CP-9020072-UK Professional Platinum Series HX750i ATX which has a motherboard link cable which allow you to monitor the PSU via Corsair Link/iCue software which would be a nice to have on this unit. But the additional circuitry would likely come with reliability downsides in such a small unit and possibly make it even more expensive, so you have to work out which compromises you are prepared to make…
Very lovely PSU. I’ve installed many over the years, but this is the nicest I’ve had. Thoughtful fan setup doesn’t spin up unless it needs to, and the cables are fabric covered rather than plastic – not that you see them once installed, but they make installation nicer.
Like the SFX form factor too – didn’t know it existed before I accidentally bought a case (Silverstone) that needed one. Have ended up with a super quiet little box for running VMs etc.
Fully modular too so can do a neat install.
This is my second SF series PSU. The first one (an older model with no gold/platinum cert) is happily tucked away on a mini-itx build and has served us well for 3 years now. This one (SF600 platinum) is now replacing a blown BeQuiet PSU on a full sized PC build. Comments on the latter:
* The cables are absolutely too short for a full sized build
* The provided ATX bracket (platinum only) works perfectly
* Absolutely silent, provided you’re not drawing a ton of power. When it spins is very quiet
On the subject of cabling, they’re fine on a mini-itx build as long as your sata drives are close to the psu. You will need to extend each and every cable if you’re doing a full sized build, and the cost of some of the cables can be in the 25 region, so factor this into your buying decision. Also, if you decide to go for the gold version you’ll need to buy the adaptor bracket separately. In addition to atx and cpu cable extensors you’ll probably need gpu and sata extensions. The connectors are the same. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07C74PWF7/ref=pe_3187911_185740111_TE_item works fine on the sata front – it’s the same 8 pin connection and it clips fine into the PSU itself.
Works fine, but cables are very, very short. In a miniITX case that has the PSU mounted at the bottom (just below the slots), the 24-pin won’t reach unless you run the cable in front of the motherboard. The 8-pin CPU power just barely reaches to the top of the board.
Otherwise, it’s fine. I just used an Akasa 24-pin extension so it would work in my Riotoro case (a tiny tower case). Runs a TUF-B450I board, 2700X and a 1080Ti no problems at all. I’m using this PSU to give my GPU more ‘breathing space’ compared to a normal ATX PSU.
…unlike me!
OK … i’ll get straight to the point here. If you build PCs (and I do a few each year) then unless you need really high wattage PSUs then these SFX PSUs are so much smaller and so much more convenient (in that they same so much space in a case even if you don’t have to use an SFX PSU) that nowadays I will use an SFX PSU by default – they’re definitely worth the extra purchase cost!
In this case this is a 750w PSU and as such will run most systems that aren’t insane from the outset – for me this one went into a 32GB i7 machine with a GTX1080, Samsung 500GB NVMe ‘boot’ drive and Corsair 2TB SSD ‘data’ drive but I could have got away with a much smaller PSU in hindsight … but sod it, it works beautifully and I’ll be buying this again the next time I build another PC.
This is an amazing little psu, super small form factor, fits in the palm of my hand. Very well made, quality finish and top of the market parts. I only went for the 600w as I wont be using dual gpus or much additional hardware but I wanted the option to add more in the future if I wanted.
I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for future proofing their machine and looking for the best power stability at this wattage and form factor on the market.
You can trust Corsair power supplies to work, every time, all the time.
Arrived very fast and in working condition. I believed from the photos that the product (600w) featured the cheap plastic cables and had planned to buy some braided ones but was happy to find the higher quality braided cables included as standard which made working in a mITX case far easier. Also included a nice felt bag which was a nice bonus to keep my unused cables in and some velcro straps for really nice cable management.
Overall very happy and would definitely recommend. I’ve not tested thoroughly its efficiency but having used Corsair Platinum PSUs before I expect it will be as good as usual.
Would recommend.
Really nice PSU. You probably know the deal, you get all the gubbins to put this thing together but the key stand out feature was the braided cables. Very nice quality feel to them and all the wires individually braided. Look if your going to want to present a PC you’d make the cables yourself right? But for the average joe these looked great and it made my SFF PC a doddle to put together.
My only constructive comments would be to make the cables slightly longer but this really will comes down to what case you use. I have a Raven V2 case and whilst I had enough length, it is tight in places, namely the CPU power cable.
