couchmaster cycon

The Couchmaster represents nothing less than a true revolution in gaming. With the smart CYCON², you can game in a relaxed position at home on the sofa, or even in your bed. The generous couch gaming desk can be used for input devices as well as with a notebook. Thanks to its ergonomic sitting position, no signs of fatigue or tension appear while gaming on the couch, even after hours of use. The Couchmaster CYCON² is versatile and can be used perfectly with a PC, Mac, notebook or game console.

Compared to a conventional lap desk, the Couchmaster CYCON² consists of a generously dimensioned desktop, which is placed on two high-quality cushions made of memory foam. Since the two support cushions are not fixed to the tabletop, the Couchmaster can be individually positioned to fit any body size. In addition, getting up is significantly easier, as you can easily move the support board to the side. When the gaming session comes to an end, the Couchmaster can be quickly stowed away, thanks to its three-part construction.

I was hesitant to purchase it at first because I have quite a small couch and I wasn’t sure if this would work as a set-up. It works perfectly. I love RTS games but I have no space for a desk in my flat and after looking for something like this for a long time I have to say this ticks all my boxes: comfy, good arm support, convenient and well made. The price point seems high at first but it absolutely makes sense once you’ve got the product in hand. Quite literally a game changer.

    Game Change

The ease… the comfort… the laziness (for me lol)

My hubby and I built my first pc together, and I am the definition of a couch (bed?) potato. The lapdesk is lighter than its predecessor which my husband has, and a tad bit thinner. It is more visually appealing to me than the original one, but my only complaint would be the lack of screws on the back to keep the panels over the wiring on. The connection cable always wants to separate the panels from the lapdesk which isnt a huge deal, but definitely a little bit of a downside compared to the first version. Other than that, its wonderful! It actually lines up well with our recliner and the other chair I use when I actually sit somewhat closer to my screen – which is also a tv.. lol.

Overall, once my hubbys cycon1 dies out, I’ll definitely be buying him a cycon 2 🙂

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our Users(Update since I sent my review to nerdytec I LOVE THIS THING: I have used this for PC gaming with my keyboard and mouse, I’ve used this to set my laptop on with mini keyboard while I was on my PS5, I’ve used it for art space. Sure it’s sold for PC gaming, but it really is a portable anywhere desk I can do anything with that I need a desk for. Super happy!)

I just wanted to say thank you for inventing something like this.
My bedroom is also my PC/Game space and I prioritized having a bigger bed over a desk.
I currently use a 65in TV as my monitor and just sit against the wall on my bed. I can use the computer sure, but it never had the feel and ease of just being at a desk like it used to.
I’ve had this on my wishlist for some months to give a try and with a bonus from work I finally made the purchase.

It arrived today and it feels like I’m using a desk again, but on my bed and I couldn’t be more happy. I don’t have to flake on friends who want to PC game anymore in favor of a console.
I like that I can adjust it to how I need for being able to adjust my legs since I usually sit cross legged and this accommodates that.
My only input is that maybe making the board 2 or so inches longer on each side would account for people who sit cross legged and you could label it the XL version.

    Super happy this exists though!

    Not just for the PC

First off, this thing is great and I can’t believe I went without before. I could never go back to not having one.

My only niggle is that the two bottom compartments are only held on by a center screw, this results in it being loose and catching, a little irritating but I plan to make my own food for this.

This is a great product, it is very comfortable and well built. The internal storage area is well thought out and provides enough room to stash away the longest of peripheral cables.

I would definitely recommend this for couch gaming or even turning a comfy chair into a functional work area.

My only complaints, and they are minor would be:

    1. The cushions are made of a synthetic suede type material, in black. This is the worst possible combination for picking up ‘bits’. Nothing that a lint roller won’t solve of course.

    2. It would have been a nice addition to be able to attach a thin padding layer to the bottom centre of the tray. This would make using the board more comfortable when not resting on the cushions.

The above complaints are minor, I would absolutely buy this again.

Brilliant bit of kit. For anyone thinking of getting this just do it. You won’t be disappointed. PC gaming on your OLED on your comfortable sofa is a gamers dream.

Stopped working after 8 hours. Contacted customer service and they shipped a replacement within 2 days without having to send broken one back. Working perfectly ever since! Really please.

I mean, the price tag for 2 pillows and a lap desk is pretty steep. But if you spend a big part of the day on your couch or a recliner, this is a great lap desk. The cable management compartments are amazing. But the cables they send you are ridiculously long. No doubt because the expectation is you use this with a console, not a computer.

You can buy shorter cables (which sucks because you already paid a lot for this solution) and use this perfectly with a computer, i do recommend a good desk fan pad If you’re gaming on it, If you’re using it for work you’ll be fine with it as is.

I would buy it again no questions asked. I just wish I had more bang for my buck here.

    Great unit overall,

6 USB 3.0 ports, 2 top side above the keyboard location. 4 on the inside behind panels on the underside. but here is the issue, the panels are held shut by a single screw in the center of their panel. from a design standpoint it is bothersome because the edges of the panels keep popping open, Magnets or even a small tong and grove interlocking design would fix this. it isn’t super noticeable when using the board with the included cushions, but they are cumbersome and only tend to get in the way.

Would I recommend, yes, it is a sturdy lapboard, the included mouse pad is feels well made, and includes a 3M backing to keep it in place, and the cable management is robust. as is the included powered USB 3.0 cable.

Things I would add, I would recommend after market hook/loop mounting for the keyboard. to keep it from sliding around or falling off when you are moving it around. and removable/replaceable port covers for the top side cable passthroughs, and the side ports that you can route the powered USB cable trough. along with either magnets or a tong/grove for the underside panel covers.

The arm rests are a perfect hight, two sown on pockets for controls, headphones etc and one pocket you can add yourself with provided velcro tape.
Can be adjusted for any size person and the desk lays at a perfectly comfortable height.
For couch PC gaming this product cannot be beaten, no roccat sova or corsair lap board really compares.
4 usb’s in underside panel for all wired tech.
2 USB on top for extra, chargers etc.
    It is, amazing.
The price for these cushions, a large piece of plastic (designed well though) and the integrated usb’s is still, far too high.
If you have the money, yes this is the couch desk you need.

The device itself is just fantastic. I had an issue where the USB hub was damaged, they almost immediately jumped on this and (by my choice) sent a new one out for me to fit. This is now working perfectly, and has transformed my front room FPS forays. Highly recommended, only drops one point as it wasn’t perfect out of the box!

This does exactly what it says and it does it well. Its easy to clean, and it makes using my gaming PC on my TV workable. Its also very effective for gaming in bed if you are bed-bound like I was after heart surgery. I find myself dragging the tabletop all over the house now for creative uses and I discovered that it works way better over the tub as a table than those weird-shaped bamboo designs that are so common. But I digress. There are a few things I would tweak. I wish the cord that comes out of the tabletop to connect to the cabling was retractable because I’m lazy like that. I also wish that the the two USB ports on top of the tabletop were on the back of the tabletop instead. Having something plugged in there limits how far you can scoot things back and makes it more difficult to use with a laptop. I would like to see a little cable wrap mounted inside the cable panels so that it makes it easier to store excess cables for a clean look without popping off the magnetic cover. Yes it comes with screws but ain’t nobody got time for that if you want it to be continuously customizable. I wish the pockets on one of the cushions were on the other side of the cushion. I’m kind of obsessive so it bothers me that the zippered end has to be exposed to “the world” in order to orient them so that the little pocket are on the outside on the right which is where I need them being right-handed. Those little pockets are invaluable for keeping track of my mouse and the tv remote. The only consideration is make sure you have a place for the cushions and table top to live when they are not in use. They take up some space and if you live in a small place like I do, they can turn into that thing you just move “out of the way” all the time instead of having a good home.

I have been using this product for a year now, i bought the CYBERPUNK edition. I did not write a review immediately as i was very skeptical of this thing actually being useful. so after a year i can honestly say i dont know how i ever gamed on a laptop without it.

My setup is holding my alienware area 51m R2, along with all my accessories, elgato stream deck, and laptop cooling pad. it has served me so well both of my son’s wanted one too, so we purchased one for them too.

if you are considering this for gaming on a tv, laptop, or anything else it is worth it…
I also decided on purchasing this one and not the LAPTOP version because on the bottom of this unit i can hide all my alienware charging wires (mine requires 2) also it has a built in USB 3.0 hub i connect my razer mouse to it, my stream deck, xbox controller adapter, and my headset.
TRUST ME BUY IT, ITS WORTH IT. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH…

here are some pics and videos of my setup and my son’s setup, will upload the third setup once its here. hope this helps 🙂

    Worth the purchase price

Really cool product. It’s not inexpensive so it’s nice to know that not only does the product feel solid and of a high quality, but the post-sales support is absolutely outstanding in the case something does go wrong. Really enjoyed dealing with the team whilst trying to resolve a rather unique issue.

I recently got a new laptop and and live in a very small space so I didn’t have the room for a computer area/desk. I would have the laptop resting on my lap, from my couch, and it was uncomfortable during long sessions. The weight of it, the heat, it wasn’t pleasant.

Enter the Couchmaster Cycon2: All the weight is now off my lap and on the couchmaster, I have comfortable armrests on either side, I have a much better mouse surface and a mousepad, the pouches on the side are nice for my snacks, phone, earbuds, etc. It’s basically a desk from which I can use my laptop from my couch. Simply put, it has made my life incredibly more comfortable and ergonomic.

Unfortunately, I was not too happy with the price. I, personally, think it’s a rather expensive item for what it is. I mean, it’s essentially two pieces of foam and a recycled plastic top that sits on them and it has a built in USB hub. I guess NerdyTech has nice dominance in this niche space of couch gaming desk solutions. To their credit, it really is the best item of it’s kind or at least that I’ve seen.
I think that a year or two from now when I’m still using this amazing couch desk setup I won’t mind the price I paid. Overall, it’s a no brainer if you’re in a situation like mine or just want to PC game from the couch comfortably. Cheers to NerdyTech!

Perfect for working or gaming from home. Upgraded entry makes plugging in cords a breeze. Also, redesigned unidirectional, high powered plug is perfect! I love the additional top-facing USB plug. Quality, product, well thought out. This is the 2nd one I’ve purchased. I love this product. I use it in my livingroom with my Alienware computer hooked to my TV. This time I purchased the add on clips and am thrilled with the practicality and ease of use. Whether I’m playing WoW and using the tablet to figure out how to solve the quest or I’m working and on a zoom meeting and need additional information or to text someone not there this allows me to play or work in compete comfort. (Important when you’re 66 years young). As you can see in the pictures the Clips that hold my phone and tablet are great. I purchased a second phone holder to use for my zoom camera… perfect angle works great. Worth every penny! I also got the full length mouse mat; I realized from the first one u owned that the added length was worth not worrying about where I had to keep the mouse on the table. I also did not add the mouse pocket on, since it made it difficult for me to lift and maneuver the tabletop off my lap and not the stand by the sofa, but that’s just me. I did like the mouse pocket on my version 1.0 so thatwould be a personal preference, just a consideration.
    Highly recommend everything!

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersLet’s be honest, if you’re at the point where you’re reading reviews on this page you aren’t really thinking “Should I be paying ~$200 for something like this when I can get a cheaper product that just sits on my knees?” You’re actually thinking “I want to sit on my couch like a slug for hours on end, and I need something that keeps my arms/hands in a comfortable position while leaning waaaaay back and staring at my tv, can I achieve this with this product, and is it worth the cost?”

I’ve been living the couch slug life for a few weeks now, and the answer is yes. You can comfortably sit on your couch with this product for an extremely long time, and you will not feel strain in your arms or wrists, and it allows you to recline back without losing optimal position.

    Pros:
Very comfortable, keeps elbows supported and wrists in a good position to prevent strain
Powered USB hub, allows you to route the long extension cable out of either the left or right side.
Cable routing works well, allows you to use wired kb/mouse with no negative impact on response time.
Pouches are convenient. I keep a bottle opener and some remotes in mine
Desk isn’t actually attached to the arms, so it can be slid forward and back as necessary
Comes with velcro tape so you can secure your keyboard to the desk if you feel like it

    Cons:
Magnets werent attached when I received the unit, easy enough to fix with super glue but pretty clear QA oversight.
Cables connecting internally for providing USB + power are pretty tight, they seem to want to bow out, concerned about how that could wear over time. An extra few inches on the power cable could allow it to loop around the bottom peg without bumping up against it.
Desk isn’t attached to the arms, so getting up requires a bit of care when picking up the desk platform and moving it somewhere else.
Shorter people might have an issue with the height of the foam, I’m 6’1″ and its fine for me

I have reached levels of sloth previously thought unattainable

After my order was lost by UPS and I received a full refund from nerdytec, I found a one local to me for sale.
It is ideal for gaming from the sofa. Storage for it was an issue originally, but it now lives on a large shelf above my PC when not in use.
Nerdytec themselves were hassle free when it came to the issue of the item going missing, It was ashame that stock had ran out at the time to send a replacement, but hey ho.

Great product, great company to deal with.

For what it is, nothing compares. I got this to allow me to work from home and play keyboard/mouse games on the big wall-mounted TV from the comfort of my bed. The second half of this review details the issues I had, though they woudn’t stop me from buying it again and I don’t think they should stop you.

Awkward room layout meant there was no space to fit a desk chair so I had to sit on the foot of the bed to use a proper keyboard and mouse. This was so awkward/uncomfortable that I just never used the KBM and resorted to using a Rii mini bluetooth keyboard/trackpad (also a great product) for basic web browsing, watching shows/movies and listening to music and limited myself to only playing controller-based games, eventually deciding this was not acceptable.

After spending a couple of hours searching products online and contemplating building my own I settled on this, although I was a little put off by the cost – if you think very basically it’s just 2 cushions, a USB hub and a block of plastic. I decided to go ahead however and have no regrets. It’s the perfect size, great build quality, well designed, comfortable and feels like it will last forever. The included mouse mat is a reasonable size, good quality (e.g. the edge stitching, smooth surface materia) and the preinstalled 3m sticky tape so you can stick it to the desk is a nice touch, though it covers the “R” on the engraved COUCHMASTER logo on the top surface of the desk – this doesn’t really matter, it just seems a bit odd and if I was designing this product, I would have made the logo a tiny bit narrower to completely avoid this “problem”.

There are 2 removable panels on the base of the desk hiding cable management areas and multiple USB ports hidden out of sight. Each panel is held on with a magnet in each corner and a central screw to keep each panel stuck on tightly. Unfortunately, all 16 of my magnets were not attached to either the panel or the base of the board, they’re just sitting loose in the gaps and I can’t see any glue residue to indicate that they were ever attached. This means the panels are only held on by 1 screw in the midde so they flap around a bit and the cables fall out. It’s nothing I can’t fix myself with a bit of superglue or a hot glue gun but it’s a bit disappointing that this got through quality control considering the premium pricing of this product.

My other issue is that it took 2 working weeks to arrive from Germany. I fully understand that covid and brexit have introduced a lot of difficulties and delays for many industries but this seems excessive, especially considering the 18 shipping cost on what I think is already a high-priced (possibly over-priced) premium product. Regardless of these minor issues, it’s a fantastic product and a game changer. I could easily call this the best “lap desk” [suitable for a full-sized keyboard and mouse] that money could buy, you just need the money to buy it…

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAus Platz Grnden musste ich meinen Tisch zum Spielen aufgeben.

I have been looking for something like this for a while, and when I stumbled across this, it immediately jumped into my shopping basket.

It has a really good design, with plenty of space underneath where two panels held in place by magnets, with an optional screw to hold the panels in place for a bit of added security, which I personally did not use as the magnets are very strong and they hold the panels very firmly anyway.

There are two very good cushions which can be used if you are playing on a sofa, however, if you have a single recliner like I have, then there is no need to use them. But they are handy, if like my son you prefer sitting on the floor about two inches from the screen…

Included also is a power supply which can be plugged in either end of the cable that is used to connect the keyboard and peripherals to the PC, so far I’ve not needed to use it as I’m only using my keyboard and a USB dongle for my mouse. But there are plenty of USB ports left to use if required two on top of the desk and a further 4 underneath. Also included is some velcro to be used to fix the keyboard in place so that the keyboard does not detach whilst moving the desk about, the main cable also has a very handy connector so you can very quickly detach the desk for storage whilst recovering from a night of intensive keyboard bashing!

All in all, a very worthy purchase, and I can highly recommend it.

    Brilliant!!!

My husband has been extremely happy with this product. It’s been the best purchase for his mancave. It’s very sturdy, well made and comfortable to use. He just has one suggestion and that is for the back covers to be slide off rather than screw off for easy accessabilty in the event a wire works loose during a game. But overall very happy ecstatic with the purchase and definitely recommended it to any gamer that wants to chill in comfort whilst gaming. Thank you Nerdytec and Amazon.

If you want to work/play on your PC from the comfort of your sofa, there’s only really one choice. Get this, you won’t regret it.

The cable management sets my OCD side at ease, no longer does the living room look like a complete mess of wires whenever I want to use the computer. It’s much easier to tidy everything away when finished, and much quicker to get going the next evening.

The suede cushions are so comfortable I’m tempted to sit here with them even when I’m not on the PC.

It isn’t cheap, but considering how much you’re likely to have spent on your rig it isn’t much more money to complete the package and work/game from the comfort of your own sofa.

    Just do it!

Being able to game on my couch,in comfort, with my PC hooked up to my living room TV is wonderful.

Extremely well thought out, sturdy and a breeze to set up.

It was out of stock when I ordered but came back into stock when they said it would and arrived from Germany in two days.

If you can spring the price of admission go for it, you won’t regret it.

The only problem I have is, as my picture shows, my cat has claimed one of the arm rests as it’s throne!

    Yes, it's pricey but...

I wanted something as I have no room for a computer desk and my other half likes to have company (must comply for happy life) with her in the front room.

Have yet to test it long term but so far it seems comfortable enough for what it’s designed for. The cables are more than long enough to connect to pc even if it’s a distance away. My only gripe with this would be if the hub extension usb cabling was on the keyboard side but I run this under the couch so only a short cable is on show.

Perhaps an future upgrade could be a sturdy handle of some fashion just around the centre point just to easily lift the board up when you need a toilet break. It can be cumbersome if you’ve drank way too much and gotta dash to the gents. You all know what I mean when your in frag mode

Also perhaps as some suggested previously a drinks holder would be a nice added extra.

In conclusion I fully believe if you are like myself (pc gamer) and need to play on the couch this would be hard to beat. Let’s face it if you play for a good few hours every other day you’ll definitely make it worth the price tag.

My review is probably going to be long as I want to break down the most important details to me, a short version is I think it’s worth buying if you do most of your gaming on a couch

This is probably the best product for gaming on your couch in the market, I’ll try to break down my thoughts after a month important points comfort, convenience, and price.

The comfort is great almost perfect there’s only one spot where I feel it’s kind of average and unfortunately average in the this market is not the greatest in my opinion. I’ve included a photo and I wish there was material for comfort there even if it was sold separately. A material like the wrist piece that comes with razor keyboards would be perfect in my opinion. If they did this the product would probably go from a four and a half out of five to a six out of five.

As for the convenience it’s really nice once again another four and a half out of five where they almost got it perfect. It comes with a large stitched mouse pad that sticks to the board. Plenty of velcro for any sort of cable management or sticking a keyboard or something to the table itself. Underneath the board there are screws that you open up to reveal the USB hub built in to the board itself plenty of room for cable management, and with about 15 feet or so of extension it’s very easy to reach the computer and the couch with plenty of room. Almost perfect however there is an included screwdriver which is nice but I have really shaky hands and lost a screw out of everything not to include extra of I find screws with one of the silliest things to not include almost perfect

As for the price at first I thought the price was really steep I still kind of feel that way. But I was originally in the market for a new monitor I did most of my games on the TV but some RTS games I played on a monitor that I lent out. Comparing the price to another similar product may seem steep but if you compare it to the price of a separate monitor it starts to look really promising. So why would you buy this instead, well this is premium It’s not perfect but everything feels premium It’s extremely comfortable and feels like it would last a while.

These are my thoughts after a week of use. One more thought I would like to give is I’m not a big guy around the belly I had someone who is sit down and it was not a good experience for them My couch isn’t that big so there was really no room to scoot the side pieces forward so if you have a smaller couch and you’re bigger this may not be the product for you. Another thing to note is It has enough power to power RGB products but not enough to charge my phone, I’m not really complaining but if that’s what you wanted it will not do that out of the box. if have some money to spend I think this is a good investment if you’re either working on your couch or just playing games that require mouse and keyboard.

    Was it worth it?

This is large enough for my HOTAS mouse and keyboard. It has several USB ports tucked away underneath in a couple of compartments which are held in place by a few small screws…they even provide the screwdriver! These compartments are big enough to hide away unsightly keyboard and mouse wires whilst keeping the top board slimline. The side cushions put an end to needing to balance everything on my knee, sitting either side of me, the top board sits neatly without having to be secured. The side cushions also provide plenty of room to rest my elbows which overall make it a much more comfortable gaming experience. It’s early days but I have to say that so far I’m pleased with my purchase.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersSo far so good!

I was previously using a Razer Turret for PC gaming on the couch, but this was proving both uncomfortable and not competitive.

I had been debating the Couchmaster for some time, but decided to pull the trigger.

Delivery to South Australia took quite a long time (just over a month), but that is understandable given the current COVID environment.

The packaging was good and the product arrived undamaged. It is big! It takes up quite some space on your couch, but because the bridge is not fixed to the side cushions, it is easy to move around and put away.

Putting it together was pretty easy, everything you need (including screwdriver) is in the box. They have really thought about everything rather than simply designing the product. Having said that, one of the panels underneath took some effort to reseal as it was not quite exactly aligned properly. This was an extra couple of minutes of fiddling and, given that you aren’t frequently opening the bridge to fiddle with wires, not a particularly big problem. One thing that was tricky during putting it together was trying to screw in the panels underneath while your peripherals are on top. I’d either recommend using the included Velcro to secure peripherals (bear in mind that you haven’t yet figured out exactly where you want things to sit on the bridge) or, put it on a table and get underneath each half as you are screwing the panels back in (which is what I did).

The wiring of your peripherals is neatly stowed within the bridge and connects to USB sockets inside, meaning you have one cable running from the Couchmaster to the PC.

I have played for a few hours using this setup now. I have a cheap Kogan mechanical keyboard and an Alienware 610 mouse. So far, it has been far more comfortable (don’t get sore shoulders/traps/neck anymore) and I’ve noticed my game has become so much better! I’ve been able to be far more competitive than I used to be.

The added pockets on the side are great for remotes and drinks. There is also a mouse pouch to stick on the bridge for mouse stowage when not in use, however the Alienware is slightly too long for it to completely close, but this isn’t really a problem.

I also like that it doesn’t come with peripherals, or that you aren’t locked in to any specific brand or style of peripheral. This makes it flexible for you and easier to replace things in the future.

So far, I would recommend this product to those who are after a far more ergonomic and competitive couch PC gaming setup.

Ein Must have fr Couch PC Gamer!

The build quality on this is good, and it’s more than I was expecting. I thought it was just an armrest and shelf to put your stuff on and thought it was way too expensive for just that, but its a lot more. It comes with a very sturdy 15ft USB extension cable that plugs into a USB hub on the shelf. You plug your keyboard and mouse into the hub and wrap it around these fixtures so that only what you need pokes out. It comes with a little mouse bag to put the mouse in and about 10 feet of nice velcro tape to apply where needed if you want your keyboard to stick. It also has a single USB port on the top that my Corsair Void Pro headset can charge from. The ports for the keyboard and mouse are internal to the shelf. There is a 900 mA limit across all the USB ports in the shelf though so it’s not going to charge your phone or tablet at 2.4 amps, but it’s enough for the headset without disabling the keyboard and mouse. Once its all put together the entire shelf can be picked up as one piece and moved around easily, with only the single cord going to your computer and all the rest neatly wrapped up inside the shelf. The mesh bag on the side of the cushion is perfect for the headset charging cord. It feels very natural and comfortable to use on the couch, and completely eliminates the awkwardness of trying to use a keyboard and mouse there. Comes well packaged with all the tools you need. As a note, the shelf part is not attached to the side arm rests and once you use it you realize you wouldn’t want it to be. Very happy with this purchase.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBrought this a frivolous purchase to keyboard game on the sofa but it is far better than it looks. While it is basically just 2 cushions and a plastic board it is very well made and a lot of thought has clearly gone in to designing it, for example there is a lip at the bottom of the board to stop the keyboard sliding of and if that isn’t enough they included some velcro so you can stick it down.
The cable system is good so you can keep everything tucked away the only issue is if you want to use it for something else the keyboard cable is trapped inside the board, there is another USB on the top which you can plug in to get around this but leaves cables dangling around.
Overall well worth the purchase and don’t regret it one bi

I was a little hesitant because of the price but having looked at other options like the Roccat Sova and Corsair Lapboard I bought this instead because I wanted to use my current keyboard, mouse and mousemat and this seemed like the best choice and I’m so glad I did.

For what I wanted it’s truely fantastic, the included 5m active USB3 repeater with the usb hub delivers enough power to run my K70 and G402 mouse, the hard plastic “top” has a good size space to fit my keyboard and mouse with room to spare, it has small little raised plastic palm rests on both sides which keep my keyboard and mouse pad in place really well and is just one of those small things that makes a massive difference. When I need to do work at my desk on my monitor I can just lift the whole thing onto my desk without having to unplug anything and it hardly takes up any more room than what I had before, I just had to raise my chair a little bit.

I was a little cautious of how the mouse would be with the cable tucked inside thinking it would restrict moment but I’ve pulled out as much free cable as I’m happy with and it hasn’t slid back or caused me any grief after a solid 3 days use.

The cushions are comfy and has quite firm foam, personally I would have rather they be a bit narrower since I have gamer thighs but it’s way more ridged than I expected and they are a really good depth so you can sit right back on the couch and get super comfy.

My only down points are that the setup is a bit of a pain, you have to turn the top plastic part upside down, feed the cables through the holes and then get the back panels on with the cables inside, it sounds easy and it mostly was but I had issues with my 1 plastic panel seeming a little too big and getting it back in place was tricky as I really had to force it before putting the screws in (I feel like a clip based system would have been nicer for a tool-less setup) and trying to get the wires to stay inside while flipping it over was a bit frustrating as all the cables I had nicely put inside would come out and trying to push them back in felt like I was putting a bit more force on them than I liked but honestly that’s my only grips and they are seriously small compared to how good this thing is.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersMost PC gamers game with a keyboard and mouse at some point, or exclusively. This keyboard/mouse form factor usually limits you to a desk, whereas controllers give you the freedom to game from the couch. COUCHMASTER offers a solution to this, to allow you to game with a keyboard and mouse from your couch and promises comfort.

I am a bit of an old curmudgeon in a lot of ways, and gaming is no exception. My favorite game genre is FPS, and fast paced at that. I can not play first person shooters with a controller; it’s just not going to happen. I must have my keyboard and mouse, which also means I am more or less tethered to my desk.

The construction is pretty simple: a plank and two armrests. The armrests are basically formed pillows, with a vinyl covering. The plank itself is plastic, mostly textured with some higher sheen accents at the top. The Cycon measurements are:

    Armrest pillows (2): 60x23x19 cm (23.6x9x7.4 inches)

Support case (main plank): 84x35x4 cm (3313.81.5 inches)

There are octagon passthrough holes on both sides at the top, making this suitable for both left and right-handed users. Also located at the top near the middle, we find a single USB 3.0 port.

The COUCHMASTER Cycon comes with a small screwdriver, short and long USB cables, a mouse pouch, velcro strips, and a mousepad.

Once we pop the covers off the bottom side of the plank, we find two USB 3.0 ports on one side, and two more USB 3.0 ports, one of which being your uplink using the standard uplink form factor which is Type B. Next to the Type B we do find a barrel connector, for which you can add a power supply if you choose. The folks over at nerdytec say that you don’t need it as USB 3.0 supplies 900mA of current, and if you are just using a keyboard and mouse, you can probably get away without using one just fine. If you want to utilize that top port for charging your phone or something like that, then you may want to consider adding a power supply.

    Usage & Final Thoughts

The people at nerdytec state that this is a one-size-fits-all, or “fits every body size” solution to comfortable couch gaming. I didn’t exactly find this to be the case technically. It did fit me, but I found myself worrying that I was going to dump over the plank if I wasn’t careful. To be fair, I am a pretty big guy, being over 6’1 tall, and uh big-boned I certainly don’t represent the average body size for a human. To be fair again, I was using this at my office on our gaming rig, and our couch is pretty firm, so it doesn’t have much give when you sit in it. I imagine if I were at home and sat in my couch, I would sink down in more, and be much more comfortable with this.

The advantage to the COUCHMASTER Cycon over other models is the modularity. I found that I actually preferred nixing the pillows and just setting the plank directly on my lap, where I had some co-workers that preferred the pillows. Thanks to the modular design of the Cycon, you can do either!

In testing, I found that where it is nice to have the cable routing pegs inside the plank, I actually prefer to not use them at all, or to only wrap maybe one or two turns of the cords around them, and just stuff in the rest of the loose cable. Now I know this sounds sloppy, but I found that there were times where I wanted a little more cord to be pulled out for this reason or that, and being bound by the cables being held in more or less captive by the routing around the pegs was a little annoying. I am a little crazy about these things however, and normal people likely wouldn’t have any issue with this.

The cables that are included seem to be of premium quality, and the uplink cable to connect the COUCHMASTER Cycon to your rig is a generous 5 meters long, or just over 16 feet for those of us that can’t seem to get to the metric system.

As I mentioned before, you don’t need a USB power supply to use this, and with just a keyboard and monitor you certainly don’t, but it was a really nice future-proofing move for nerdytec to include one in the design.
As I mentioned before, you don’t need a USB power supply to use this, and with just a keyboard and monitor you certainly don’t, but it was a really nice future-proofing move for nerdytec to include one in the design.

Overall, the fit and finish seems to be top-notch, well thought out, and very well made. If you are looking to add some comfort and function to your gaming, I would certainly give this a hard look. At $149, it’s at the upper end of the spectrum as far as bringing gaming functionality away from your desk, but the features that the COUCHMASTER Cycon offers make it worthy of the asking price, I believe.

    It's incredible

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersVery good quality for the main board and the solution to tidy up cables inside of it. The extension cord for the USB is really sturdy and the whole experience is entirely ergonomic.

It is expensive and if you tend to use your PC in your living room a lot, then this is definitely for you, regardless if you game or not.

The only downside is that the cushions, although well stitched, could fit the foam bit inside a bit better as there are areas where the leather is a bit loose.

    Entirely recommend.

My husband and I connected our computers to TVs in the family room and the Couchmaster has been a good solution for using our computer peripherals. It is probably the best product you can find on Amazon for gaming from your couch. With gaming you generally want wired keyboards/mice and this product is specifically excellent in terms of being able to organize all of the different cords. Including velcro to attach your wires to the inside is a nice touch. Overall it is also very well made, which is something I appreciate as the market is always flooded with cheap products. It is also a lot longer than I expected, so there is plenty of room for a keyboard, mouse, and gaming pad. It comes with pockets you can put your mouse into – and while thoughtful, we don’t use them for that reason but we do use them for holding other things.

A criticism of this product falls mainly on the armrests. I am a smaller woman (5’0″) and they are simply too high for me, which is a shame because they are also well made. I also appreciate the stitching on the armrests and the material is nice. Instead I have been using pillows of a more appropriate height. There are other reviews that list this as the biggest complaint, so I think if the company made the arm rests adjustable then this product for me would be 5 stars. I also could do without the massive “COUCHMASTER” inscription that goes across the entire product. I also don’t need a product I spend a lot of money on to say “COMFORTABLE PC GAMING” on it in large letters, or at all. In general I hate when companies make nice looking products then ruin them by stamping their logo all over it and this is nearly worse than that. The words on the product are a different material and because they are etched in, sometimes my keyboard gets stuck on them or doesn’t sit flat. People will mainly be using these at home – this needless advertising should be removed!

Another thing is that we ordered two Couchmasters, and one came with a mousepad and instructions, and the other one did not.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersTLDR; Very nice platform. Side cushions may wear fast over time, and storage when not in use is a pain. Over amazing, very versatile, and worth it if you have no other choices for computing solutions!

So, I was looking for something like this in a pinch. My wife and I bought two new computers after not having a primary computer for a while, in excitement for the release of WoW Classic. As soon as we bought our laptops, we new that comfort was going to be an issue. We started by getting a fold out table and setting up in our living room, but that got old fast. Then we bought some just TV tray tables, but again, with big comfy couches , you still had to lean forward so far to be able to use them. I then finally came across this CouchMaster while google searching “Laptop trays”. It looked perfect for our situation, but the price did seem a bit steep. I held out for a day, but when I had to put the table away again at the end of the night, I thought to myself, lets try it.
Shipping was slow, but I never fault the selling company for that when there is a third party involved. The package came and it was quite large. Unboxing was a normal experience and upon unboxing, I did not notice anything wrong out of the box.
Setup was easy, set the two foam cushions where your sitting, sit in between them and place the board on your lap with the two ends on the cushions..
This is intended to be used as just a keyboard/mouse stand with cables reaching to a PC near the TV in your living room. but I had a laptop that I just wanted to sit comfortably with me on my big oversized couch.
Mounting my controls was more interesting than I thought it would be. You have to pull it in with enough slack to move, just enough for play, but then the pole on the inside of the system, you take the excess and wrap it all around that and then plug it in. Its not to bad of a system, but I am slightly worried about what effect it may do to my cable over time of being in there.
The cable to power the HUB that is installed into the system and come out was plenty long, but with my setup of placing my laptop on the board, it really was in the way being a straight plug in. I then bought a 90 degree USB adapter, and as you can see, it makes it plug in flush to my system and does not protrude out in my way anymore. I also drilled an additional hole in the back to run it more direct for better cable management. Not a fault on the manufacturer, but it was actually nice that this system is plastic and that i was able to do that. I also installed a cable holder for my power supply, just so it would’t be dangling in between my lefts and was just routed off to the side while i sit.
Overall, this system is very nice. Comfortable to use, and very versatile. the foam that is used for the side cushions is firm at first, but they do seem like they may wear over time, so finding replacement s in the future may be an issue. There is even times where I just use the tray and set on my lap when I just wanna play around on my laptop for a quick bit. But I get the cushions when I know i’ll be setting for a good gaming session.
When I got mine in and started using it a few times, my wife decided that she wanted on for her system too. So we bought another one. Hers is in the picture and is still stock. she will be mainly just using hers for more of a seat with her laptop and wireless mouse plugged directly into her laptop.
Storage is a little bit of a pain. for my wife, not so much. she just puts her laptop and mouse up and then she can store her cushions and board anywhere she needs.
With my setup, with having my gaming keypad and mouse mounted inside and semi-permanent, I am only able to store my board level. I use the supplied mouse bag to store the mouse so it doesn’t flop around, but it isn’t perfect. My game pad has some good rubber feet and doesn’t shift/move to much. but like I said, when you have these things installed as intended, storage does become an issue.
Overall, great product. Price is a bit high to take a chance, but if your in a situation of like what I needed, it is well worth it.

Couchmaster, So nice, I bought it twice!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI ordered it back in July and had to wait 2 months for it to arrive because it was backordered. It came in a big box with the two cushions, the support case, and some simple but thoughtful accessories. It easily holds my large k95 keyboard and mouse pad. I ended up giving my mousepad to my wife because the one that comes with the couchmaster is much thicker and comfortable to rest on. Unfortunately, I had a stripped screw that I had a lot of trouble getting out, but their excellent customer service gave me a partial refund for the inconvenience. It was a quite troublesome issue, but I was still expecting to hear a “sorry” and then sending it right back. Instead, I was met with friendly and sympathetic customer service. Great job NerdyTec!

I was VERY skeptical about this working for my 5’5 body size. To my surprise, the couch master fits me great. If I need to get up, I simply rotate and slide the board onto the armrest to my right. Of course, you could always just pick it up! My only gripe is that the foam cushions are way too big to use on the recliner seats of my couch, so I have to sit in the middle away from the armrests and use the ottoman. It would be a 5/5 if it were possible to use my recliner!

The inside of the support case houses 3 USB ports and a good amount of room to work the cables in, even with the thick cables of the K95 that takes 2 USB ports. The 4th USB port is external, which is great for using devices that you’d want to connect and disconnect frequently. Although you need to buy a power AC adapter for charging a phone. Here is what their support said:

“At the moment we do not have any power adapters with US/CA connector. But you also can use every common Power AC Adapter with specs: AC Adapter 5V 2A – 1,35 mm x 3,5 mm (plug size)”

Because my mouse and headset are wireless, I’ve got my keyboard and headset charger plugged internally, and keep spare batteries and my glasses cleaner in the side pocket. There is never a reason to leave my couch to grab anything for my PC.

I’m waiting on the 5ft AC adapter to come in for $10, but all in all, this is a great product from a great company. I’d give it full stars easily if the foam cushions were somehow modular. Still, it has completely changed the way I use my computer! It’s not cheap, but it is a luxury you just have to try for yourself!

A great product from a great company

I purchased this a few weeks ago. I was trying to find a solution to the back pain I had while on the couch and in bedroom. It has done that very well. It isn’t a pure fix as this could have adjustable arm pillows. That would allow for a more versatile fix. Also I’m not sure about the current USB hub. I love the fact it is powered; even if it requires a 3rd party purchase to power (this really should be included in purchase and made for all plugs US/CANADA/EU). The cord is rather long however I have not been able to test it using all equipment I currently have: Razer Naga Mouse, Razer Nostromo, Razer Wireless Turret Keyboard, Sound Blaster Wireless Headset w/ USB dongle, Wired generic xbox one controller, Razer phone 2 charger, and J-Tech USB 3.0 hub extender (3 ports and 1 charge port). I have used it to charge the Razer wireless Turret Keyboard, Razer Wireless Turret Mouse, J-tech USB hub extender (charge port with phone charging)…. It worked well with both internal USB hub powered at extender cord and J-tech extender powered. Lots of cords for all that equipment but the length of the cords provides adequate cord management along with internal cord management of the system. This is for charging purposes at this time and I have not connected it to a PC or media device (Steam Link/Nvidia Shield). I will update after I use this on PC and media devices for other Razer equipment. So far it has served its purpose of allowing a more comfortable play session. Hopefully I wont run into any troubles using it via USB on PC and other media devices. I do have to agree with other previous posters about the adhesive, it is not the best however once again 3rd party purchases should solve this ( or I could sow the extra pocket to the Pillow myself). The mouse pad provided with the unit is large and of good quality. This thing is a beast to store however and I don’t think a solution to that can be created (its just big and that is how it is for this type of niche solution). I do believe the “gift ” accessories would make this unit more versatile though. The phone holder clip seems the most usable however the USB sound device and the tablet holder could be just as useful if that is what would serve your needs. The ashtray is past niche and IMHO not very usable (you should not game and smoke, LOL). All in all I’m very pleased with this product and would purchase again if another user in my home though this would help their productivity and comfort.

    Good product
    Need to finish testing
Adjustable pillows would be great along with better adhesive and more pockets 😛
Powered USB adapter should be standard and international
Good cord management… SNAP ON BOTTOM COMPARTMENTS!!!!!

Verdict: It’s worth it, you will see.

This product is kind of a niche item so bare that in mind with my review. First, it does exactly what it says. It’s a pretty great couch gaming desk like keyboard and mouse holder. It’s very good at fulfilling this role. There are a few caveats that I dont remember reading in the description but I probably just skimmed over them. First, its 3 separate pieces. The two arm mounts and the desk itself. It doesnt stay together by anything but gravity. This is not an issue because you dont want to have to move the entire thing when you want to get up. You just lift the desk part off the arm mounts and set the whole thing on the coffee table or the floor. Its not heavy but it is wide and kind of bulky to move. You get used to it pretty fast tho. Second, the arm mounts tend to make the desk sit at kind of angle. This wouldnt be an issue if I had a wired mouse but I have a wireless keyboard and mouse and every time I take my hand off the mouse to type, my mouse slides off the desk. This is kind of annoying when I’m trying to game and type while in game. My mouse slides around and then my character looks at his feet or swings around and gets dizzy. Now I know you are thinking… just prop it up so it sits flat reviewer dude! What a great idea! Except now it makes my desk lopsided. If I prop up both sides so the desk lays flat… the arm rests are so high that I can rest my chin on the desk. It’s just not customized for every person on every couch. I’d suggest making it customizable if possible. Just like… putting the arm rests so they can be angled or maybe making them so they can have this little ramp built into the cushion that one can adjust the angle of the desk or something. The last thing I’d like to see is maybe making the bottom panels snap on and off like the back of a remote control or something. Having to remove 5 screws to open the back panel because you accidentally pulled the keyboard out of the USB port is kind of a bother. It’s not hard or anything… it’s just a pain. So there you have it. I’d still suggest buying one of these desks because it’s by far the best on the market right now and once this company perfected its design, it will be the only couch gaming setup anyone will think about.

Golden Review Award: 123 From Our UsersI’m thrilled that I can game on my PC and use my home theater’s TV and speakers–it spoils me! This solution is a bit pricey, but it works–with some drawbacks.

Pros: the design is simple, somewhat sturdy, and it works well: you balance the lap board across two soft rectangular forms, one of which has a pocket for storage.

    – There’s a 4-port USB hub

    – It comes with a mouse mat

    – The size of the board is generous – plenty of room for my huge gaming keyboard, a keypad, and a mouse.

    – The board is sturdy and resting your arms on the side pieces is comfortable. It’s easy to get up by just lifting the board and setting it on the floor.

Some of the cons are particular to gamers–but since this product is designed for gamers, that’s important.

    – the 4-port hub is not powered. You can buy a power adapter from their website (Euro plug only) or buy an aftermarket AC adapter that can be configured to 9V. I reached out to the manufacturer and bought one that they recommended, but it can still be hit and miss because…

    – the power may not be enough. I have a Razer Chroma Black Widow keyboard which takes two USB ports. I also have a Razer OrbWeaver Chroma, a keypad that takes another USB port. I can’t plug anything else in or the hub cuts out. I plug the base for my wireless mouse into my computer and I use a wireless controller from my PC’s ports.

    – my optical mouse didn’t like the mouse mat. I have a Razer Ouroboros and it was laggy and would drop out. I use a Razer eXactMat, so this is no big deal.

    – the cables can come loose. If I lose power to the USB hub, I have to take apart the board (unscrew 10 screws), unplug and re-plug everything, and then it will come back again. It helps to wind the USB hub’s cord around the pillars on the inside so it can’t get pulled out of its socket, because that socket is inside one of the two panels underneath the unit–you’re unscrewing it to get to them.

    – The hexagonal opening on the top may not let a gamer keyboard fit through it. The Black Widow has a chunk on the cable that contains two USB cords and two 1/8″ plugs for its headset extension. It was just slightly too big to pass through the opening, so I had to Dremel out one of the openings and then sand it down for a smooth finish.

If I could wave my magic wand and make it all perfect, I’d do this:

    – slightly increase the size of the cable opening

    – make the underside panels opened by a thumb latch instead of 5 screws each

    – include an AC adapter that can sufficiently power a 4-port hub with high-drain devices connected to it.

Great idea, good design, mediocre drawbacks

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNach nun fast einem Jahr bin ich begeistert.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersOk, I want to give an in-depth review of this item because I really feel like it’s a fantastic product but it’s not for everyone.

I’ll start with table size. This lapdesk is great for gaming and general productivity. It has plenty of room for a full size keyboard and mouse setup. I use a trackball instead so I feel like I have even more room.

Now for the height. This is the first point where there could be issues for certain people. This lapdesk will not fit you of you are small. I am 5’10” (178cm) 220lb (100kg) and this fits me great. Of you were 5’4″(162cm) or smaller this might be too big for you. Because the cushions that hold it up are not adjustable you would be out of luck.

As far as value, I suppose it depends on how you think about it. Could you make something like this for less? Sure. Would it be this nice? Probably not. I feel it’s a fair price to pay for something as polished as this.

Functionality wise, it’s fairly well designed. I’ll go ahead and beat the dead horse though, the screws that hold on the back are awful. A push-in panel would be much nicer. The built in USB hub will work fine for your mouse, keyboard, and headset assuming they dont draw too much power. It does have a limit (I think 900mah?) Which is standard for small USB hubs for computers. If you have some fancy light-up keyboard and mouse you will need the additional power adapter.

Final notes: this is great for average sized to large sized people who dont have high power peripherals. I do think at this price the power adapter should be included. Also, those screws need to go, nobody likes them guys. An actual cup holder would be nice too.

I would recommend this to anybody looking to start couch gaming.

Just got my Couchmaster Cycon and I admit that I was a bit afraid about its quality.
The first impression is that I thought that would be bigger than it actually is.

I’m a big guy and I was concerned about the distance between the cushions and how I would fit.
It happens that the cushions are sturdy and firm, and you have plenty of room to adjust the lap table how you see fit.
The memory foam is good quality and the sears are resistant.

The plastic of the board is well made and cut, with plenty of horizontal space for a mechanical keyboard and a decent mousepad (I have a patriot viper set with a corsair gaming mouse pad and it fits perfectly). The under board screws are easy to deal with (it comes with a screwdriver) and managing the cables is easy. The only thing is that there are only 2 USB’s on the left side and 1 on the right + the extension cable for the power supply (you need to plug it on your PC).

If you have a 2 USB cord keyboard like mine (one for led power supply and other for the interface), you have less 1 USB port for a wired headset for example, although you can use the one on top of the board.

If your devices have any rubber pad it will be already very stable over the board, no need to attach to the Velcro straps that comes with it. The 5m extension cable is more than enough for you to plug it to your PC wherever it is.

Side pocket is good to hold cans and stuff but I would prefer something cut in the board itself, since it can be disastrous to insert a full opened can in a elastic pouch on the side without proper attention.

So overall, nothing that blows my mind, but a pretty competent and decently made product that delivers what it promises. I would recommend if you want to use your sofa as a desk, since lap boards alone aren’t stable/comfortable enough for me.

    Excellent product.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI recently got myself a NVIDIA Shield which allows me to stream computer games directly to my living room TV, which i thought was pretty awesome, however have you ever tried to use a mouse and keyboard while sitting on a couch?

Doing research on how to resolve my issue, I quickly stumbled on the couch master and after researching this I figured it would be exactly the item i needed to game in comfort while in the living room.

It was quick to setup, the USB hub worked right away with my NVIDIA shield which is something I was a bit worried about. The keyboard and mouse tray is very robust but comfortable, to my surprise the provided mouse pad is very good. You can easily hide the mouse and keyboard cables with the internal cable management system within the tray. The cushions are very soft but still sturdy, depending on your body type, they may set your should too high but for me it’s perfect.

If you plan on gaming in the living room with a mouse and keyboard, I don’t think there are many options outside of that, it cost me 199$ Canadian including shipping cost and taxes and what must be a Christmas miracle, I was not charged any custom fees on delivery. It’s a bit expensive, but I figured this could last me a decade, worth it for me.

So what is it? You’re getting a keyboard / mouse tray which has a built in USB dock, as well 2 foam supports… and a couple of other bits (such as pockets etc).

Is it worth the money? Material-wise, no, you can DIY it with 2 bits of foam and a wood board… but comfort and flexibility-wise, yes.. Saying that, these day I’d probably go for a purpose-built lapboard with build in keyboard.

I’ve owned one of these for about 3 years, and my experience is this can be great for sofa gaming (even with MMO’s), but I found limited use for the foam-supports, as they’re only useful if you are sitting in the middle of the sofa. The most comfortable usage I found, was simple using a cushion under the tray.

I can now game very comfortably from my sofa (for other people who might own an Ikea Kallax or Friheten black leather sofa, the arms from the Couchmaster look like they’re part of the sofa itself.

What I was most impressed with were the accessories bundled inside. Pouches you can stick to the Couchmaster arms (or a nearby side table/anything you like) for handy mouse/glasses storage, and a 5 metre USB A male to female extender (among other bits and bobs.)

I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who has a very ‘square’ sofa, wants to PC (or even console) game comfortably from it, but is unsure about the price.

I haven’t regretted the purchase for a second. This really does make gaming from your couch completely practical and so easy. I now almost never sit at my desk anymore. The item is very well designed, components are sturdy, and everything has been very well thought out. I use this with steam link on my smart tv which means that I don’t even need a hdmi cable between the tv and my pc. When I’m not using the tray and cushion, they just slide under my couch for storage, so this keeps everything tidy. This is a simple idea but has been very well executed. 10 out of 10.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersNach langem hin und her berlegen habe ich mir den Couchmaster Cycon dann gekauft.
Keine externe Stromkabel ntig da USB aktiv Kabel.
Richtig coole sache doch vorsicht, so gemtlich man knnte einschlafen beim Zocken 😉

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersWas cautious… Thought it might be unstable, un-useful and just another gimmick that I waste my money on. Bought it anyway. And love it! I am now officially THE MOST comfortable PC gamer I know. It takes a day or two to get used to the new position, which is only really important in competitive games like Rainbow Six: Siege etc. But after that, you will be so glad you got it! Be aware, if you have cats. They will probably think you bought it for them and you may have to fight them for right of ownership.

The best impulse buy I have ever made. Solid construction, easy setup. Well worth it.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis thing is pretty basic when you think about it and the price seems like an awful lot for what essentially boils down to 2 bits of hard foam and plastic board, that being said it works fantastically well and Im 99 percent sure if I tried to buy materials and make something like this myself it would work but wouldn’t look or perform anywhere near as well as this does.

The cables all being tucked away and setup so you can plug your keyboard and mouse directly into the board is great and just works. It’s sturdy and a really great design.

Not sure what else I can say other than I’m now able to play pc games that don’t support a controller again, which I’ve sorely missed!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersQuite honestly, I have already tested some couch gaming options but this one is on a completely different level!
I’d rather like to play in the living room on my fat flat screen than in front of my tiny monitor at the desk.
As comfortable as my couch is, the arm rests unfortunately aren’t… until a friend told me about the Couchmaster Cycon.
The idea with the two cushions works amazingly. Gaming has never been so comfortable on my sofa, seriously!
My legs are free, and the elbows are perfectly supported by the pillows on the left and right.
You can use any mouse or keyboard, one size fits all.
The cables are stored practically inside the support board. You just have to loosen the screws at the back and store them away. Admittedly this work is the only minus point, but I guess you do this only once. A fourth USB port is available on the top of the board.
No additional power required. As soon as the keyboard, mouse and headset are in place, the Couchmaster can easily be connected to your PC using the included 5m USB cable.
    The connection is latency-free.
I can only recommend the Couchmaster for all those who would like to play comfortably on the sofa.
Personally, I cannot imagine living without it anymore. I just love it!

Vielen dank an nerdytec! So geht Innovation *****
