Who doesn’t love Crash Bandicoot!
Getting to play these games again brought back some great memories. Best of all I got to make some new ones with my daughter watching her have fun with it and some frustration at times when missing collectibles.
We love plating this game as a family. Some levels are rather tricky and can get annoying when you keep dying at the same point every time, but all I all a very enjoyable family video game.
Bought this game for my dad as a father’s Day gift, he really enjoys playing it. I also recently purchased this game for myself on another console through its online store. The graphics are amazing.
It’s just like the original, loads of fun and I think a great game for a family to all be involved in. Not masses of violence (the death of crash isn’t grisly). I would definitely recommend
Bought for the Xbox One console, to replace the one given away when we sold the Xbox 360.
It is by far the Wife’s favourite game and you get all 3 games on 1 CD.
I grew up playing the Crash Bandicoot games and so when I saw the opportunity to get them remastered I jumped at the chance! I also forgot how rage-inducing the games are! Such a fun way to pass time (especially in quarantine)!
Half way through the first game of this trilogy and love the nostalgia as well as a chance to have some extra fun as you can save as you go along lol if like me you didn’t have a memory card when it came out the first time haha
Bought this as used to play it on PS1 years ago with anticipation that it will be easy to complete as an adult. Well its not. Its still difficult, challenging and times very infuriating… but so much fun!!!
Graphics are superb and game is just as awesome! One thing that takes more time to get used to is playing this game with analogue sticks rather than d-pad like it used to with old consoles.
Crash Bandicoot is a classic. This is a great game for any player at any level. It has a number of different courses and the option to play with different characters. I would love for it to be a two-player game as that would make our family game nights even more fun.
I have very fond memories of this game back in the 1990s it was amazing and I remember playing this hour after hour it brings back very great memories of the good old days and my childhood so when it was my 30th birthday i decided to revisit memory lane and ordered it and I’m definitely enjoying it it has that great classic feel with update graphics so its win win for me on that score I don’t remember it being so hard though back then unless its me being rusty I don’t know the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is it can be very very frustratingly hard and the checkpoints and few and far between but i am enjoying it overall and i would definitely recommend for any one who remembers it from back in the day or for anyone fancying a challenge it is quite addictive once you get started also a great price from amazon to I’ve seen used ones going for more so 20 pound new is a good price for a great classic game
This remake is brilliant if you are reliving your childhood gaming days, playability is great, great game for kids, quality of the disc and packaging was excellent, efficient delivery no complaints 🙂
Bought this for my brother, as we used to play it together as children. Brilliant trip down memory lane, just don’t remember being so easily infuriated as a kid haha.
Love playing this game, it brings back memories from my childhood when I used to play crash at the weekend. It’s great quality and all the same levels that I remembered. It’s great that they have all 3 games rolled into 1!
I forgot how I used to struggle with some stages of this game. It’s funny now watching my own kids look at me in amazement that I actually used to be a fun child too.
This game is incredibly well remade. I can honestly say that I’ve spent more time on this remake than I had on the original and it’s definitely not lost its charm. Bought a copy for some friends who had never played the originals and they loved it too. The only thing to be wary of is that you will end up spending hours of your life on this game – and sometimes on the same level (especially the time trials) but it doesn’t get boring! 3 games in one as well… what a bargain.
Gameplay controls feel different to what i remember, inevitable really given its been completely redone. Brings back a lot of good memories and is a good game.
Great really fun game. So many violent games these days so I was really glad I could introduce my kids to something I played in my younger years. Even my husband who doesn’t play games enjoys this one. Fun for all the family. It’s frustrating at times when you run out of lives and have to keep doing the level again but that’s how games always were “in my day” and you just persevere. It’s part of the fun. Get it, you won’t regret it.
Loved this game back in the PS1 Days hours and hours of fun!! addictive and was challenging then still is now! haha, glad this got remastered along with Sypro as these were the games back then!!!, Got all 3 games titles in One so you won’t be disappointed! Must HAVE!!! for anyone who doesn’t own a PS1 anymore!
This game brings back so many memories! It’s just like it was. I can not fault it, apart from when it drives me insane that I can’t get past a level as an adult when I could do it no both back when I was a child!! Introduced my daughter to it and now she’s a big fan of crash bandicoot. Hours of great fun!
The original games always proved incredibly difficult for me, and as I’m a lot older now I thought I’d be in for an easier ride. How wrong I was.
Crash Bandicoot remains one of the best and most iconic game series, and having the trilogy in one place is essential for fans including new comers. You won’t have an easy ride, and you will be challenged. But that’s what makes this game so much fun to play.
It looks up to date with smoother graphics, runs flawlessly, has a catchy soundtrack, and plenty of content for those looking to splash their cash. As far as value for money goes, you get 3 great games for a very reasonable price. I can’t argue against that.
If you’ve played them before, and are looking for some nostalgic fun, then it’s a must buy. If you like platform games in general and haven’t played the series before, you could do a lot worse than pass this trilogy by.
I grew up playing these games and the fact you can now play them on Xbox one is amazing brought back loads of good memories, exactly the same just better graphics, worth the money
I loved this game as a child it was brilliant, this kept me entertained for years but thanks to naughty dog the revised version of this is incredibly difficult, you have to be exactly precise with jumps and attacks. It’s fun but definitely a rage game! Enjoy its hell
I had a neighbour growing up who had the original game on PS1, so playing this takes me right back. its a great game, and the enhancements are great on a 4K TV.
The first game is much harder than I remember it being, but that may just be my age showing itself 🙂
Definitely worth a purchase though!
It’s 1998, it’s Christmas morning, unsurprisingly it’s not snowing. My brother and I dash downstairs at some ungodly hour to find a massive box containing a 14″ CRT TV, a smaller one with a Sony PlayStation inside, and an even smaller one revealing a game featuring an orange, wild-eyed animal bursting from the cover. No prizes for guessing what it was. From what I remember, our family didn’t see much of us that day as we smashed boxes and collected Wumpa fruit, having a great time.
Fast-forwarding twenty years, I’ve revisited the original Crash trilogy many times, so when a remake was announced I was all about it. Since I’m an Xbox user I had an extra year to wait, but when release rolled round, I’m not ashamed to admit that 27 year old me asked for The N-Sane Trilogy for his birthday. Now, perhaps all those years later, taking the wrapping off a Crash game doesn’t have the same effect as tearing one open when you’re 8, but I was happy none the less.
Crash holds a lot of nostalgia for me, so returning to the shores of N. Sanity Beach and beyond in glorious 4K HDR was an absolute pleasure. Crash has fur! The beach has real looking sand! The gameplay remains mostly as it was back on PS1, with (already well documented) adjustments to make the three games consistent. That doesn’t mean that the games are any less frustrating at times, or conversely any less sweet when you finally nail that level with all the boxes smashed and gems in hand. (Update: I’ve played through the first game now, and the gameplay feels familiar, yet new and challenging at the same time due to the tweaks made; that’s by no means a criticism, I’ve enjoyed it all the more for it.)
As before, although the games are challenging, the learning curve is not too steep; the latter two games introduce new moves to allow for a greater range of level traversal and, in Warped, power-ups that modify gameplay – meaning that a level doesn’t need to be tackled the same way each run through. The recomposed music is just as good, if not better in places, as the original soundtrack too. The addition of achievements only adds to the replayability and desire to strive for that 100% completion. Being able to play each game as Coco also gives an excuse to run through the game again – frankly any excuse to do so is good enough for me!
After years of increasingly lacklustre releases to the Crash franchise, The N-Sane Trilogy has come at the right time to reignite interest in the orange marsupial for nostalgia hungry gamers and win the hearts of new ones. I’ve not yet completed the games, but from what I’ve played I’m satisfied and would most definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to fill a bandicoot sized hole in their modern gaming life.
Now the wait is on for the Spyro remake in November, and to continue crossing fingers for a remake of Crash Team Racing and new Bandicoot titles.
After a long wait Xbox One and Nintendo Switch owners can finally get their fix of Crash Bandicoot where the collection comes with Crash 1, 2 and 3. I remember the original vividly on the PlayStation as many do, and have finally managed to complete it all these years later! Is this collection up to the mark? Or is it of the shoddy variety?
The pick of the collection is Crash Bandicoot which is meted towards stricter platforming rather than arcadey zaniness, as the latter two are. The third title probably produces some of the more interesting environments but they are also prone to repetition with subtle enhancements and 3 is also stuffed with more vehicle levels which are notably shorter which factored in to my first run through Crash 3 Warped being around 3 hours shorter in total at just over four hours.
There aren’t a plethora of platformers on Xbox, or good ones anyway, so this helps Crash shine all the more. As with most platformers this is a tough game at times to the point of wanting to throw your controller at the wall but Crash has a difficulty that is at least somewhat dynamic in terms of power ups or health boosts where you may be faltering repeatedly during gameplay. In addition to the levels which is boasting over 100, there are plenty relics and gems to collect for completionists out there. It is of course debatable as to whether many of us will want to put ourselves through this with the immense frustration that the gameplay can cause but it is mostly fair. There’s no online play but that’s not at all expected and in terms of a story it’s not really all that involved but you have to remember that these are old games built on older technology that could not support drawn out cutscenes. Crash 3 has most of a story of the three but there’s not much difference between them where story was never really a focal point of the genre.
—Summary— (Scored out of 10)
Graphics 10 – It really does look fantastic although a ‘Halo option’ to switch between new and old graphics would have been nice. I can see the argument that the new graphics take some character or ruggedness out of the game but you can’t really fault it for quality.
Sound 7 – There isn’t really much here and the soundtrack is just okay. It’s fine though overall.
Gameplay 8 – Typical platforming fare that can be really quite hard in places. It’s a decent challenge, that’s for sure but it’s not Cuphead level of frustration.
Lifespan 7 – The three games took me around 20 hours in one playthrough and then there are collectibles to go back and get. It’s great value with three games in one essentially and plenty to do.
Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy pays a great tribute to a classic. I probably remember it more fondly than when I played through this collection because there are much better platformers out there but I can’t really knock this too much either with you getting three games where one is better than the other two, but it’s still a worthy title in your collection for the nostalgia like me – or if you’re someone who enjoys platformers. As long as you’re not expecting anything revolutionary in what is just a straight remaster you will likely not be disappointed.
So I grew up with crash bandicoot, I originally had the game on the PlayStation (1) the light grey box with wired control. Are those were the days.
20 odd years on and I got fooled into buying this game again. It is still annoying as ever but highly addictive. The graphics are clear, with no obvious drag. The control is a little off but that might be my controller.
I managed to complete this game back in the good old days, I’m a little rusty. Completing the first island I’m now going back to collec bits I’ve missed. It’s a game which you need little thought. A good game as a filler as it doesn’t take long to work out where you let it. It’s a bit of a shame there isn’t more check points but hat is my only critics nor and the music but you can alter that.
Crash Bandicoot has always been a fun and challenging platformer series. With all three classic crash games being combined into one disc to create a fantastic remaster. The graphics are beautiful and the remastered music adds a new twist to what one may remember, whilst each level is crafted with enough challenge to keep you on your toes.
There have been no bugs present from my entire playthrough of all three games.
It is truly amusing for myself as a fan to return to this, providing me with nostalgia of my childhood, and I imagine the same for those returning to this game – there are even new challenges added which was a welcome surprise.
I recommend this game to anyone whether it be new or old to this game, as it is a really enjoyable title.
Pros:
Great graphics
Challenging yet fair gameplay, introducing new things all the time
No bugs had been found (personally)
An array of fun characters voiced brilliantly
Beautifully remastered music that is quite catchy
Cons:
I honestly couldn’t find any, this game is great.
Great game, has a nostalgic quality to it. I remember playing these games on my PlayStation 1 when I was young(er) and it’s kind of cool to play these games in a remastered format with my kids.
Loving it…. its an old friend and still a challenge. Pity the volume is set so low on this game. I have to adjust my TV every time I play it. Overall its great entertainment and should provide hours of fun for new and old Crash Bandicoot fans.
Yay! I loved Crash when it was on the original PlayStation, so much so the theme song still pops in and out of my head every now and again. I was gutted that I didn’t have a PS4 when the remasters were announced. Now that it’s on the XBOX, I can breath a sigh of relief.
There’s so much gameplay here for 30, and it all looks gorgeous! This is how I remember it looking back when I was a kid, so having this collection to feed that nostalgic itch is great!
Is harder than I remember though. (Not a bad thing)
It’s just absolutely amazing to see these wonderful games come back to life on current gen consoles. I had all three of these on my PlayStation 1 back in the day! I’m having just as much fun playing them now as I did when I was a kid. Video games are currently in their golden age, and it’s so exciting to see the direction they are going in. Crash Bandicoot is nothing short of a masterpiece and these are not only fun to play, but also teach a history lesson to younger gamer’s of where the magic really started for what we have today. Whether you’re a hardcore or a casual gamer, you will find this trilogy to be a right blast! Well worth your hard earned cash! Only a philistine of the premier division could tell you these games are not worth playing!
Had these games way back on my PS1. So when I heard it was coming out in the Xbox One I was over the moon!
The gameplay is just like it was back in the day and the graphic are amazing! Your paying for a game that has THREE games in it!!
Sadly I have not played it just yet as my wife hasn’t put down the controller.
Funktioniert super auf der XBOX Series X, da werden Kindererinnerungen wahr.
Who doesn’t love Crash Bandicoot!
Getting to play these games again brought back some great memories. Best of all I got to make some new ones with my daughter watching her have fun with it and some frustration at times when missing collectibles.
The lad thinks it’s great, so I guess it’s worth a buy!
It’s a fun game. I spent hours playing this the first day I received it. Some of the levels are really hard. Still fun though.
We love plating this game as a family. Some levels are rather tricky and can get annoying when you keep dying at the same point every time, but all I all a very enjoyable family video game.
Absolutely awesome.
Thanks so much.
Arrived in perfect condition.
5 star *****

Graphics are superb and game is just as awesome! One thing that takes more time to get used to is playing this game with analogue sticks rather than d-pad like it used to with old consoles.
Overall it is amazing!
Really fun. Not an easy game but loads of fu
Crash Bandicoot is a classic. This is a great game for any player at any level. It has a number of different courses and the option to play with different characters. I would love for it to be a two-player game as that would make our family game nights even more fun.

Bought for christmas for grandson. He enjoys playing this. Excellent condition.

Bought as a gift son liked the game but daughter seem to enjoy crash alot more
This remake includes crash 1, 2 & 3. It is always fun to play and well worth the price.

What can i say about this, a perfect remaster with amazing graphics and the same game play if you like or love crash then this is the game for you

I bought this to relive my childhood and it did not disappoint. It’s all exactly as I remember it.
Brought for my partner as a present as this was a game he played when he was young. He loves it.
This game brings back so many memories! It’s just like it was. GREAT game great graphics just how I remember it.. harder than I remember too..
Fab game! Love crash bandicoot and this is just like the originals

Game for all ages.
I loved this game as a child so I was so happy to find it’s exactly the same.
A fabulous game that really takes you back in time. As good now as it was all those years ago. Highly recommended.
The game is just how I remember it , I personally don’t find it hard . a good fun game and worth to have in your collection
I did have problems with the delivery company saying they turned up and didn’t, Amazon resolved this for me
This takes me back a few years. Great game, a lot of fun but surprisingly difficult…it wasn’t always this challenging was it?
It’s like reliving my childhood. Just as frustrating to play
i completely forgot how good it was……. i now have the bald patch to prove i
Great game, especially for those who enjoye playing it as a kid! just bare in mind itll be much harder than you remember it being!
A real blast from the past. Lots of fun for all the family
Love Crash Bandicoot. Fantastic game and graphics
Living my childhood all again!
What can I say, it’s Crash Bandicoot. Old school (90’s) gaming at it’s best, made next gen friendly. Love it!
Great game, well remastered. Still frustrating, but that’s the beauty of Crash Bandicoot!
Brilliant that Crash is now on XBox, please bring out more of the old games onto Xbox
Old school gaming, a blast from the past and great fu
It’s like being 7 years old all over again. Very refreshing to play this again as games now a days are all the same and get repetitive 😀
3 games aswell! Worth every penny !
I love that this is now on Xbox one I can finally play the classic brings back so many memories.
Blast from the past.
Just like the old games, just as annoying as well to complete some levels.
Loving it…. its an old friend and still a challenge. Pity the volume is set so low on this game. I have to adjust my TV every time I play it. Overall its great entertainment and should provide hours of fun for new and old Crash Bandicoot fans.
There’s so much gameplay here for 30, and it all looks gorgeous! This is how I remember it looking back when I was a kid, so having this collection to feed that nostalgic itch is great!
Is harder than I remember though. (Not a bad thing)
Very good game use two play it on PlayStation and play station 2 over 10 years ago
10/10
The gameplay is just like it was back in the day and the graphic are amazing! Your paying for a game that has THREE games in it!!
Sadly I have not played it just yet as my wife hasn’t put down the controller.
Would highly recommend this game!
Only had it today but so far great fun. Amazing graphics. Great gameplay. Very smooth on the Xbox one X.
