It’s a very good start if you don’t have any sound system. For the price, all the features included plus the sound quality, it’s quite a catch! The only thing I can say that is not even bad is that it’s not upgradeable. This means it’s 2.1, so if you plan to get 5.1 or even 7.1, this will not help but inspire you! It comes with optical cable, Type-C and an adapter for UK sockets. I was surprised with the sound. I felt I was buying a mistake before I tested it.

I bought this soundbar to give our bedroom TV a little more oomph on the sound and I was very impressed. You get a boost in volume with a good depth to it. Granted, if you’re a sound snob you might be able to poke holes in it but for me it has far exceeded my expectations and would highly recommend to others.

Had read the excellent reviews on the Stage 2 and been excited. Even then, I hadn’t really known what to expect from a sub-100 2.1 system. Can say though that I see why the reviews are as such. Great clarity of sound and the subwoofer performs really well in a small-medium size room. Can’t recommend enough.

Really impressed. Nice soundbar, nice remote control. This bar does have good volume despite some of the reviews, I’m using it in a 6×4 metre room with a high ceiling. During set-up go into the menu on the devices you’ll be using with the bar ,TV, Satillite Box, Blue-Ray,Firestick etc and select the appropriate audio outputs.

Excellent upgrade – overall sound is very impressive. The dialogue is crisp & for the first time in years I can hear every syllable.
Note: the sound was initially out of sync after setup. Classic fix – turn the TV off & on again.

Decent sound, good bass and good mids, bit muddy when people speak in addition to background sound like when watching streamers play games or maybe orchestral tones in the background of a TV show.

The convenience of bluetooth is welcomed, and connecting is super easy. However, sometimes you will find that it will suddenly break even in the middle of it being bluetoothed to something and playing sound out of it and will have to reconnect. That is very, very annoying when you’re trying to relax. Thankfully it’s only a minor convenience as the connecting is, as said before, very easy.

The remote has a lot of buttons, bit mushy though but doesn’t particularly attract fingerprints which means you don’t have to clean it that often.

Overall, you get what you pay for, maybe a little more.

Nice sound, disappointed there were major price reductions a couple of days after I bought it. USB connection is annoying, soundbar doesnt sleep and wake with the PC on usb mode, so you have to turn it off and on manually. Even my old cheap 5 quid chinese soundbar did that. The sound however is great and is just what I need when I don’t want to turn on my rokit 8s just for playing a quick game.

Bought this as an upgrade to a set of aging Harmen Sticks 2.1…. For the price (71 after discount) this is a tremendous setup for a desk or small room.

Packs a real punch and a massive upgrade in overall sound quality for a much more competive price than i was expecting to have to pay

Product is excellent, was looking for something in my room to pair up to the TV and PS5, pairs well with the Samsung HDMI Arc. The thin bass subwoofer fits nicely and could be concealed easy.

Only comments are that sometimes you’ll get interference buzzing but can be solved by some cable management. Also the light is always on and can be distracting in a dark room but again I just block it out with my PlayStation controller

    Hope this helps!

I was a bit unsure what the quality of sound would be, given the price. But being a Creative product, i took a chance. And it’s better than expected. Punchy sound with good bass. I’m not an audiophile, but for music and video meetings this is a great product. Remote is quite nifty as well.

… need to check their input volume level.

Connected via optical cable, sound crystal clear & can be ramped up too loud for my neighbour’s tastes. Note that Bluetooth devices often limit the output volume on connection, so set to max before adjusting soundbar volume.

Big fan of Creative stuff, still using an old Soundblaster Platinum soundcard from about 20 years ago in my pc; build quality suggests this kit should also stand the test of time.

    Good value /recommend.

    Great sound.

You might need to reconfigure your TV to use PCM output on its SPDIF (optical) port, rather than the manufacturer’s proprietary protocol. The sound quality is unaffected though.

If you use other cabling, it should all just work.

Note that the sound bar does not power on automatically when the TV starts. You need to use the sound bar’s remote to power on separately. Likewise for powering off.

All in all, a great sound bar for the price.

Good overall sound quality when linked to my Sony TV via the optical input. Works well as a Bluetooth speaker system too although overall volume is quite low. Fine for my purposes and super clear tones but not that loud.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Users.. the Creative Stage V2 is very, very good indeed, although I was split on rating this 5 stars for sound quality “at this price range” or rating it 4 stars for overall sound quality just to be incredibly picky – but what is without a shadow of doubt true is that the Creative Stage V2 feels, looks and sounds terrific for the 89 I paid for it here in the UK in June 2022 and is immeasurably better than a SAKOBS soundbar/subwoofer I’ve just replaced (had to send straight back). Let’s deal with the ‘very picky’ 4 stars sound quality, which I feel mean about. 4.5 stars for sound quality would be fairer but the fact is that if you’re looking for a premium sound-quality bar at a steel then you’re looking in the wrong price bracket. You need to go back to the Bang & Olufsen price-bracketed units that cost at least 3-4 times what this Creative Stage V2 does – because that’s roughly how much you would have to spend to better it. That’s the picky bit over although some reviewers thought the subwoofer lacked a little punch whereas for a smaller lounge/snug (where mine went) I wouldn’t criticise the subwoofer unit at all. It does a great job of filling the room with lovely earthy thuds whenever you need one although, yes, it doesn’t compare as well as a dedicated, powered subwoofer that costs many times more than the entire cost of the Creative Stage V2 sound and subwoofer). If anything I thought the main soundbar itself only suffers in comparison with much more expensive units in the middle and upper treble areas – but again you won’t be able to get that extra sound quality without shelling out a lot more spondoolies to hear it. What is very nice in the sound areas is very good remote control for upping/downing base and treble via the remote. Nicely done. The ‘Clear Dialogue’ function (again on the remote) also works well and distinctly if you want to up the dialogue levels for elderly parents, say, “hello dad”. Although I was less impressed with the “Surround Sound” function which is straight out of Creative’s SoundBlaster/PC surround speakers playbook and it does throw the sound around directly a little, but enough to hear the difference, but for me the sound always sounds better (clearer and better a balanced/focused) when not running in that mode. One word of caution against the unit, which is not Creative’s fault, but as a newer kid on the block, I couldn’t obtain a setup code for a new OneForAll remote (the URC 7145) I bought to control the TV and the Creative Stage V2 soundbar and so can’t yet have a single-button click to turn on both the TV and this soundbar at the same time but am waiting for OneForAll to get back to me to see if they can generate a new one. However if you are looking for a great-sounding, great value bar and subwoofer in this price bracket (less than 150 say) and you’re not trying to fill a cavern with music, then the Creative Stage V2 should be a great choice for you. Go ahead!

After having recently bought a new tv with horrible, tinny sound, I decided I’d need a soundbar to go with it. Not having a huge budget I settled on this one. It was easy to set up and I connected it to the eARC port on my tv. What a difference to the tv’s speakers! I’m not a fan of really bassy sounds so I turned bass down to -5 and treble up to +5 with the clear dialogue option turned on and am now really happy with it. The subwoofer adds a roundness to the sound and kicks in more when needed with music etc but it doesn’t overpower things. The only slight disappointment is that it doesn’t turn on and off with the tv although I can use the tv remote to control the volume so overall I’m very pleased with this soundbar. For the price I think it’s very good value.

Pretty surprised at how good this sounds for 79. Sound is clear, nice and neutral, bass isnt muddy at all, dialogue is clear. Even bas a decent sized sub, decent amount of bass.

This soundbar is a fantastic budget option for a small room or even a bedroom. I purchased this for the kids room as they watch movies and play games.

I had previously ordered an all in one for the same price but that was returned due to it not being good enough. The creative stage v2 has proven to be miles ahead in terms of performance and quality.

I can think of many pros for this but no cons. This opinion is based on the fact that this soundbar was just under 100. I have a more expensive system in my main room and this often influences my opinion but i can honestly say i was more then happy with this system at the price i paid and connectivity/ features it has.

Yes it doesn’t have Atmos but unless you are paying well over 300 you wont find a semi decent atmos set up. So my opinion is based on what i paid and i have also compared to other products i have used/ seen working.

From reading a lot of reviews i was concerned about the soundbar not producing enough sound to fill my room. I was pleasantly surprised by how good and loud it sounded. For a system that has only 80w RMS (not peak power) it performs well beyond expectations.

The sound was clear, loud and there was no distortion. I can honestly say the movies i played through it all sounded better. I also tested the bass and this was also impressive for a small system.

Contrary to some reviews i was happy with the sound output. I did not try this in a big room so i cant really comment on how it would perform in one. But for my intended purpose and a small room i was impressed. I kept the volume between 50-75% for movies as anything above felt too loud for me.

The build quality was also good, the system felt solid and well constructed. The remote was also of a good quality and did not have a cheap clicky feel.

Overall i am happy with my purchase. There are countless expert and user reviews that support my own positive experience.

I think if you purchase this expecting it to perform at its price point you will be impressed as it is considerably better then other products at its price.

Just be realistic and dont expect it to perform like a 400w plus system.

Once you have installed a HDMI ARC connection the system works well and is an improvement on my inexpensive TV’s sound. It is also a convenient way of playing audio from a bluetooth device. The sound is clear and undistorted, but it lacks detail and depth. Acceptable, better sound, but not hi-fi.

I am very happy with this V2 sound bar. It has multiple options for connecting. Unfortunately, it will not pair with my Alexa via Bluetooth.
I have contacted Creative support and although they were very helpful. They felt and rightly so that as the soundbar connected to my phone via Bluetooth the issue must be with the Alexa app. After contacting Amazon helpline I was given a list of protocols, I think they called them, and said that was what Alexa needed to connect via Bluetooth. At no point in the details of the Creative V2 does it say it is compatible with Alexa. So as I am very pleased with the V2 soundbar I have decided to keep it and hope that Amazon introduce ‘Protacols’ to their app so it can connect with a very good soundbar.

Bought this soundbar to go with a 55″ LG TV. Ok so let me say first off the supposedly correct size lengthwise for a TV this size is way bigger & therefore way more obtrusive in your living room. You’d have to wall mount one I suppose one certainly wouldn’t sit in my TV stand. So I decided to try this offering from Creative a name synonymous with quality computer components for – well forever really.
I’d already returned another brand of soundbar to Amazon as it was underpowered & “spoke” its functions which I found irritating so was familiar with set up & soon had the soundbar installed. The difference was striking. Clarity & power – great. A subtle visual display telling you mode & function – no “well is it in optical or Bluetooth?” or “what’s the base setting at the moment?” – all very clear & precise. Aesthetically pleasing item. Pleased with my purchase. One niggle – no optical cable or remote batteries? Come on guys, the sound bar I returned whilst not as good, but much less expensive, came with these. Some excuse about Amazon not permitting enclosure of batteries – which is of course nonsense. I buy loads of electronics from Amazon – they have batteries. Silly thing is, they supply 3 different power leads with different plugs with the soundbar, two of which presumably go in the bin – a shocking waste (although I appreciate they could be recycled) but no optical cable? That’s my only beef – it’s a good soundbar.

I already knew creative for its speakers specially for PC’s and its good reputation about the quality of the sound delivered in its equipment and i got really glad when i saw they had this sound bar, while is not between the most popular brands in the market, i only can say that for the price you won’t find anything better. if you are just using the sound of your TV and wants to add a bit better quality sound to it making your experience in watching TV better, this is definitely something to consider without breaking your bank.

For context, this soundbar has gone in a converted detached double garage, with a Samsung 4k TV in what is a part-cinema room, just to give an idea of the size of the space it’s in, if nothing else.

I thought I’d give this soundbar a go – I found it referred to as a “best buy” while searching for lower cost options online – I had been considering a Sony equivalent that’s twice the price, but I also don’t want to pay for a name. As is always the case, you don’t know what to think with Amazon reviews – one person says it’s great, one says it’s trash, one says it’s loud, one says it’s too quiet, and you just end up none the wiser, and concerned with the potential negatives.

So first, is it quiet? No. It goes louder than I could want it, even in my modest sanctuary, and I like movies good and loud. It easily blasts out sound and fills the space I’ve got – good clear sound, too, without distortion at the high level I had it at. Reviewers saying it was too quiet clearly had other problems going on – there is absolutely nothing wrong with the volume levels, and it’s definitely more than fit for working with TVs. It is loud!

Second, is the bass rubbish? No, it’s very good, and I like my bass. I’ve just watched Predator as my first test and the helicopters, orchestral music, waterfalls, guns and explosions we’re all good and satisfyingly deep and rumbly, and I only cranked the bass up from the default central zero setting to +3 as I didn’t want to go to the maximun +5 as I was trying to bring out the speech too. Does it sound like a nightclub? Obviously an 80 soundbar is in a different playing field altogether and that’s not a relevant or realistic expectation, but it’s still really good bass. And needless to say, whatever you’re watching or listening to has to have the low frequencies present for the sub to do anything, which may explain the problems some seem to have believed they were having.

What about surround sound? Well it’s never going to surround you, obviously, but switching Surround on does give that impression of the wider, spread out sound stage in front of you. So rather than having the two fixed points of the speakers belting out the sound, there’s that impression of a range of points varying from left to right in front of you, and also a sense of different depths. No I didn’t hear things over me or behind me and I obviously didn’t expect to. I don’t need that – I’m just after loud, deep, clear sound, and I got it. I do like the Surround effect – I’ll be keeping that switched on – but it should maybe be called something else, because surround it doesn’t.

Dialogue was clear enough – I still didn’t catch a couple of whispered bits, but there’s generally dramatic orchestral music and/or helicopters in the background in Predator, so I was just impressed to be understanding whispered and mumbled speech again, for the first time in years.

It’s good, clear, rich sound, with satisfying bass, and a massive step up from the TV speakers. It’s delivering more than enough for me – I won’t be regretting not having 5.1 or Atmos, or a Sony badge.

The remote is small, simple and does the job. The sub woofer is slim and inoffensive. It’s all solid, heavy and doesn’t feel cheap. All in all, I’m massively impressed and so glad I chose to disregard the negative reviews and went for this.

I am old enough to remember when Creative owned the sound card market. I have not considered them in a very long time and then, I found myself in the market for a sound bar and who should appear on the list, none other than my old favourite Creative.

I have done a lot of research and was becoming confused with all the offerings. Some had HMDI Arc, Other Optical, some Bluetooth or 3.5mm Aux, but this has them all. Do I need them? Well I don’t know, maybe. Simply having the choice gives me options.

My primary use is as a TV Sound bar for my 55inch LG Television, but I would like to use the Bluetooth to hook up my Vinyl player and Phone, so I need good clear dialogue and a good all round surround sound experience with a banging base.

I had read some previous reviews and they were generally good but interlaced with the odd nay-sayer which always makes me uneasy. However, I need not have worried. The sound quality is awesome. Music sounds rich and vibrant through the Bluetooth, and connecting with HDMI ARC, the Movie experience is banging through my streaming platforms and at last I have a good chance or hearing dialog when watching a good drama.

Well done creative, you’ve smashed it!

The headline sums up this sound bar well.
I had to return another sound bar to Amazon because there was no HDMI connection on it making pairing to a Sky Q remote impossible.
I unpacked this Creative sound bar from its box, plugged it into the mains and connected a HDMI lead to the box and to the HDMI arc socket on my Samsung TV and switched on.
No sound from the sound bar until I changed the audio settings on the TV from Dolby to normal whereupon it burst into life with full control from the Sky Q remote.
Although I hadn’t thought the sound output from the TV was particularly poor, it wasn’t until I connected the sound bar I realised just how much frequency I was missing – both at the bass and treble ends. The base in particular was initially disconcerting and I kept wondering where the low frequency thumps were originating in the house – until my feeble brain kicked in.
This piece of kit is well recommended especially if you are not a very serious hifi buff and just need a much better output from your TV.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirstly, this was bought for a TV being used in my office for XBOX and Sky Q, so I did not want to spend a huge amount of money.
I did a lot of research into best budget soundbars, and lots of YouTube reviews scored this well.
Setup is easy, although it doesn’t have HDMI or Optical Cable in the box, it comes with a number of power cables, USB C to USB cable and also and AUX cable.
The Sub plugs directly into the Sound Bar, so you will be restricted on where it can be placed with no wireless option.
Upon setup via HMDI Arc, I can control power and sound with the TV remote, but I am unable to control it with my Sky Q remote.
The LED display is permanently on, which some may not like.
A few tweaks to the Bass and Treble with the Soundbar remote (2 x AAA not included) I upped the bass and the treble and I’m super pleased with the sound.
For 80 this is an absolute bargain – the bass is superb, it looks smart with the slimline Sub, it also has Bluetooth options as well

Highly recommend this for someone looking for a budget soundbar.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’m quite picky about sound quality but didn’t want to spend much on a soundbar for our bedroom TV as it doesn’t get much use. We needed something though because the TV’s built in speakers are just terrible. For the price I paid (79 – 10% offer = 71.10) I think this is really excellent.

OK so it’s not as good as some other sound systems I’ve used that cost far more than this but it concentrates on getting the basics right and does a decent job of it. Voices are really clear, expecially with the vocal clarity mode. It’s not room-shaking but it goes plenty loud enough for a reasonable sized room. The main soundbar does sound a little bit “plasticky” but the sub really helps to fill it out and they work together superbly well to give a great, balanced sound that’s clear and not tiring to listen to.

I’m still on the fence about the surround mode. At first it sounds impressive but I wonder if that’s partly due to it being slightly louder and it might be more of a gimmick. Either way it’s optional and I like the default sound without it.

If anyone’s interested, it work with the Fire TV Cube’s equipment control even though it’s not listed. Just say it’s not in the list and go through the learning process. It took a couple of attempts for me but now it works fine.

    Decent quality
    Great value for the money.

Only had an issue with Bluetooth connection,
Where my google Chromecast tv it would no longer connect to the soundbar.( It was all working fine for about a month)

However was still working fine via 3.5 jack connection.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSound quality is a passion of mine.
This soundbar plus passive woofer produce really good quality sound.
Typical test is the reproduction of piano and violin.
This low cost solution performs amazingly well, not in the professional studio end where my top end speakers now retailer for 1200!
However, my smart tv now pumps out really good sound and with the various settings off the remote I can control surround sound and dialogue. Voices are now crystal clear and I now have full range sound with good bass off of the subwoofer.
I couldn’t be happier, I thoroughly recommend this system, I bought from Amazon and delivery was on time.
Another great aspect is the ability to Bluetooth your devices to it. I linked my iPhone 6+ and played Amazon music through it. 3 hrs in we are still listening to our favourite music. I can skip a track from the remote control that links back to the iPhone and makes it skip a track. Amazing.

This system has so many inputs, you just can’t go wrong.

I recommend this if you want a great soundbar on a budget.

I don’t like soundbars. They are overpriced for the limited capabilities that they provide. If you cannot buy powered speakers or proper sound equipment, then get the Creative Stage V2.

The subwoofers bass isn’t great, but compliments the “Clear Dialog” mode. The clear dialog is really good and stood out the most to me.

In terms of volume, my mother’s living room is around 10 metres in length and I can hear the sound loud and clear. I didn’t bother using ARC and went with an optical cable instead, because I felt it was more reliable.

Connecting devices via Bluetooth was easy and without issue.

All in all, I can’t complain. My mother is happy with it, it’s simple to use and provides an adequate movie experience.

The remote is very handy, can control everything you need to from the remote. It is small enough to fit under a PC monitor (27″ monitor in picture) and the subwoofer cable is long enough to have tucked under a desk or hidden further away. Subwoofer can fill a room with thumping sound without drowning out the sound behind it, and from such a small size the sound is surprising.

The “virtual surround sound” feature is designed very well, with me pausing a film to check to see if the sound came from a different room in the house, hearing a loud bang off to my left thinking it wasn’t in the film. The only negative thing I could say about the sound bar is that the sound quality is different over BT compared to AUX. I’m not sure why this is as the bass and treble settings are the same, however the BT audio sounds clearer watching the same content.

Very loud is an understatement, surround sound is brillia

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersThis Creative Stage V2 has quite simply blown me away. I bought it because I read a few trusted professional reviews and didnt want to spend another fortune on a system that is to be used out in the conservatory on our football/movie cinema set up. I was going to put our big branded system out there but once I set it up and tried it out things changed big time. At this price point, I firmly believe there isnt anything else out there that comes anywhere near this for sound quality and input selection versatility. In fact, I will be honest and say that my major branded soundbar and subwoofer (S**y) which was 5 times the price of the V2 has been completely overshadowed by it. The major brand in comparison and with hindsight, was a waste of money. I basically bought it to match the TV at the time thinking that by keeping everything of the same make, it would give me the best set up. It was great until I got this V2. The V2 is so much better and versatile that I will be buying another V2 to replace it. I used the V2 originally on the aux 3.5mm input which was simple and effective but it was when I set up the system using the HDMi ARC input that the V2 really came to life. I set the TV settings to Dolby/Dolby Atmos and the V2 processor comes into its own. It also has bluetooth and optical digital inputs. A great selection. I am not a professional reviewer, just an amateur audiophile who understands sound and its finer nuances. Yes I had a little play around with the audio delay until I got perfect sync with the TV but only took a minute or so to do. The remote is so simple to use that once you have the settings you require, there is no need to alter it unless you wish to make some tweaks between movies and music but I have found a setting that is a nice compromise for all. The V2 in my opinion, is as good looking as other big brands out there but one thing that should be noted is that it has a wired subwoofer and not bluetooth or wifi but dont let that put you off. This has a plus because there will be no “lag” or delay between the highs and lows and therefore less chance of the sound “muddying” between the mids and lows. Its also a slimline sub unit that is easy to hide and it works really well. The lead is about 2mtrs long so bear this in mind when youre thinking of where to place it. Summing up …. Granted that this isnt a Bose or Sonos by any means but genuinely is a very high quality soundbar and subwoofer that is equal to systems several times the price. I bought it and I am not dissappointed at all. In fact, Im hugely impressed and as I said previously, I am buying and in fact, have just ordered another. They really are terrific value for money.
UPDATE …. 6/1/22. Still love the V2 and so far, I have had a few friends hear it who have also been impressed. IM HOPING THIS NEXT BIT OF INFO MAY HELP. A few ppl have reported that the overall sound volume is very quiet and given their review accordingly. If that is the case then you need to adjust the digital output setting on your tv. I cant comment where it is on every tv as I’m sure you can understand but somewhere in your settings there will a facility to adjust the output volume. Whether it is via Optical or HDMiARC (which is what I would recommend you use). The output setting should be for Digital Output in the form of PCM, Dolby Digital/Atmos etc and it will be there. My V2 is set up on a Sony Bravia KD49 and I have set the output found i advanced settngs to 96%. There is way more volume than you will ever need for more than an average size room and plenty of punch from the sub with no audible distortion. So, if you are disappointed with low volume from the V2, check your tv digital output settings first. If you are using the 3.5mm aux input i.e. using headphone socket from your tv if it has one, then usually the same thing would apply but obviously for the headphone output and not via the digital outputs.

    Outstanding Value

Wanted an upgrade for the sound system in the lounge, this doesn’t disappoint and is no slouch. My favourite feature is the ability to quickly adjust the bass and treble in one button. This is well worth the money if you have a moderately sized space and want to run away from those tinny built in speakers on your TV. also is easier to convince family members to have this instead of two boxy speakers on stands next to the tv.

The Creative Stage V2 Sound Bar is excellent for the price. The build quality is good, the sound is good, it’s compact and unobtrusive. The only complaint I have is for me is that that the I.R. sensor is behind the front mesh so I can’t shield it from my HDR remote control because there is a conflict with one of the buttons on that remote control, but that is no fault of the Sound bar which is excellent.

I used the Creative Stage V2 to replace the terrible speakers from my tv. Having looked at quite a few reviews on various websites I purchased it when it was on sale (which it is often).
Its a pretty straight forward 2.1 setup sounds pretty decent but the “surround” button on the remote doesn’t really add much. (the dialogue setting works well though).

If you just want something reasonably priced with decent connectivity this is it. if you want something that will knock your socks off and give you a really immersive home theatre experience this isn’t it and nothing around this price range is.

I bought this to put in my garden pub so didn’t want to spend too much cash. On its own this sound bar and sub is plain old “ok”. Definitely not 5 star. The thing is, it is less than a hundred quid. Compared to my 250 quid Samsung sound bar and sub, it is 90% as good for a lot less money.

If you want superb sound quality from a sound system in this price bracket then you really need to lower your expectations. For the money, it is ridiculously good.

My only gripes are that the power cable for the sub is a bit short and the remote is a bit pants. Other than that, this is a really good sound system at a great price.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe rating is based on a Soundbar costing under 99.99 (20% off Voucher) 79.99.
First, think about your Sound output settings, the Soundbar is Surround, setting it to 5.1, 7.1, DTS, you will have unbalanced sound, lose of sound effects, no sound.
You can also set your TV’s sound output to TV Speakers and still use Optical on the Soundbar and have the benefits of the Soundbar, to give that extra Base/Treble and Vocals, so you have the benefit of the sound effects from your TV with the soundbar giving that all important, Base.
What ever you choose, the Soundbar I’m impressed with, the sound effects that I can hear, in a TV Show, Movie, Anime, Game’s, Music coming my Series X through my Hisence 50U70QFTUK TV to the Soundbar, Raindrops, Wind, Trees, Animal’s, Footsteps to the sound of your Armor its all there clear and precisely as it should be.
The soundbar has Normal or Surround, as well as Standed or Voice, with Treble/base independently going from 0 to -5 or 0 to +5.
The build quality of the Soundbar is solid and weighty, so sound gets delivered as you would expect, no vibration or tinny and again for the price its outstanding.
The Subwoofer is lightweight as far as what you would expect from a Subwoofer, but don’t in anyway think it’s a bad thing, I can ashore you its just as good as the Soundbar at doing what its built for and the quality it produces.
I really am surprised by the simplicity of everything, even with the Remote. Don’t expect nothing complicated here, it’s easier then getting your cup of coffie/tea the way you like it.
Photo show the layout, its super lightweight, smooth and so easy for the user to control.

Overall the Soundbar is a fantastic addition to boost your entertainment enjoyment, and not at a price that makes you wonder if its worth it.
At the price of 99.99 its great value, so getting it for 79.99 if you come across the offer, simply is a must buy.
I can’t talk about other Soundbars, (I do have a 5.1 Yamaha receiver) and I can say the effects that are noticeable from the Creative are so much better, I just love the, Rain/wind and the drops hitting the floor and the thunder crackling.
I’m so impressed, I have to say it again.
Creative have made a brilliant product.
    Thank you.

    Its simplicity, Quality and Value

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis 2.1 (left and right channel plus subwoofer) system delivers a very natural sound with a soundstage that is widened by the 3d effect however the physical depth and height dimensions are greater than some other soundbars so check your stand will allow the picture to not be blocked by it.

The sound is rich and natural with good bass depth and impact (for sound recordings see my Amazon profile YouTube channel). Loudness is more than adequate for my 4x5m living room and the sub did not distort with bass heavy music, as I found to be the case with another 2.1 soundbar I tried. The bass and treble can be adjusted and I settled on a small permanent boost to treble to improve intelligibility of dialogue (rather than bothering with pressing the ‘dialog’ button to turn that EQ mode on and off for different content).

The sound is really quite impressive and far beyond that delivered by a TV’s internal speakers – I have a Sony XH95, which apparently has some of the best sounding speakers of modern flat panel TVs.Suddenly your TV speakers you were happy with will sound really tinny in comparison so beware!

The looks are understated with tastefully sized and styled logos and a brushed metal look on the remote though the sub is large and wired to the soundbar so will need to be positioned nearby.

The HDMI ARC integration means it can be controlled (power and volume) from the TV remote control so its own remote is only needed for changing source to Bluetooth for example. I needed to change the TV audio output to PCM but after that didn’t need to play with any settings or the supplied remote.

Bluetooth makes it great for playing tunes from your phone and the sound quality and loudness is much more impressive than that from my Echo Show 8. The USB socket supports use as a laptop/PC audio device which is another nice to have.

The only slight negative is that the mode indicator LED can’t be turned off (a feature on other soundbars I’ve tried) however I am getting used to it and finding it less distracting at night. I guess I could put electrical tape or a sticker over it! Also, looking at the soundbar from above I would have preferred to see a smooth surface rather than the plastic cradle which stands proud.

No HDMI cable or battery for the remote is supplied but overall I found this to be a great value system whose sound for me makes it worth the additional living room clutter.

Natural, immersive and explosive sound in a larger than average soundbar/sub with useful features

    The good.
Nice looking unit with great quality at this price point. Easy setup and use, good volume, additional cables supplied, USB C-A (C for the unit A for the PC), 3.5mm, international plugs also included.

The soundbar and the sub work well together to provide great quality sound for music and video.

The romote is nice and feels like good quality with modern design unlike a lot of units that come with a crappy remote from the 90s. All the buttons are responsive and have a nice click to them.

    The bad
No screws or plugs to mount to the wall – yet they give u a EU US and UK mains cable.
    No batteries in the remote
No drill guide which is a real shame because it’s just another bit of paper that is a nice touch and makes life a lot easier, espically given the amount of paperwork you get anyway.
The subwoofer cable is not that long so will have to be next to your TV unit. It also has to be plugged into the soundbar so that’s even closer if wall mounting. If this will be an issue for u I suggest a unit with a wireless sub.

Great for the money, a few niggles but no deal breakers.

Initial experience is amazing. This is just quick review, I can’t test all the functionality as that’s not what I bought it for and have nothing to compare it with as for telly I have old 2000 make Yamaha amplifier connected to 2 floor standing 3 way speakers I’ve built myself about 20 years ago as well.
So I’m using it for mac mini via 3.5mm jack to jack connection, bar sits under dell up2718q monitor which protruding a bit but design is so good that it actually still looks good. Subwoofer is wired and plugged to the back. In pack there are 3 power cables extra US and china, plus USB-C to USB-A cable.
Sound is great, well can’t beat my 3 way system but for 80 is more than sufficient. Gloss finish looks expensive but catching dust in seconds. Remote control I haven’t tried, no need for me and it didn’t come with batteries, needs 2xAAA. So if You want PC speakers on budget, yep go for it. I need to sort out cables now coming from iMac all in one with literally only power cable to complete mess. And need to make legs as speaker is now floating on monitor stand and is wobbly-3D printer from amazon always helps.

This Soundbar when paired with Creative BT-W3 audio transmitter (sold separately) is a great solution for PS5 not having an audio output channel other than HDMI/ wireless headphones. So if your monitor does not have AUX/ Jack this setup will save your life!!! The BT-W3 transmits in SBC codec and the Soundbar when paired does not lag behind which was quite a surprise. Played some Fast paced FPS games to check sound lag, and the sound matches action on screen. About sound the mid range drivers are not too bad sound is pretty robust for what it is, dialog is crisp and the bass is there not a roaring thumping experience but well balanced and pretty deep. Connectivity is great, currently I have it connected to PS5 via BT-W3 transmitter and Bluetooth/ PC via USB/ Nintendo via AUX and Alexa via Bluetooth. Truly happy with the purchase. If you are looking for a fix to connecting your PS5 to a monitor with no audio output or speakers, look no further! grab this and the BT-W3 transmitter and you are sorted!!!

I am giving 5/5 but take into consideration that I use this as a gaming soundbar for my PC and it’s sitting 20 inches from me. It probably is less spectacular for bigger areas (like, home cinema I can image), but still manages great sound if I turn it up and go to the next room (my Edifier bookshelf speakers for 80 do a better job tho).

For PC gaming it is seriously great. Compact, sleek and punchy – some good surround option on it too and dialogue. I never knew I needed surround sound for gaming until I got this soundbar, now my old Logitech speakers sound flat in comparison.

Enjoyed for everything from Spotify, games and movies.

If your speakers take too much space and you want a sleeker option to go with your ultrawide monitor, I’d say this is a really good medium budget option!

Seriously impressed as a PC gamer.

Finally decided to upgrade my sound game with a soundbar. This is my first soundbar and I was always put off as I didn’t want to pay for an expensive one as I’m currently renting a room. Main soundbar isn’t that long against my 55″ hisense and is fairly light. The subwoofer is pretty big probably similar size to a PS5. I do find it a bit weak in the bass produced by the subwoofer but overall sound is still hundred times better than my TV speakers. Good entry model for those looking to get a soundbar. Setup is easy enough and remote is nicely built. I thought I’d have to get a Samsung, LG or Bose soundbar but after researching and reading reviews I just couldn’t find anything that I was really happy with, then I came across this.

Creative products are normally fairly decent quality and for the money (89) it was a lot less than I thought I’d need to spend. Reviews for the Creative Stage V2 were very positive so I thought I’d go for it. Amazing soundbar for the money. I’ve got a modern sized lounge (so not massive) and it’s as loud as I’d ever want it, with pretty decent bass when cranked up to 5. For sub-100, you can’t go wrong.
