Hardly anything to assemble so ready to use almost straight away. Very easy to cook with.
On down side instructions make reference to grease cup but not listed as being one of the parts provided. Alos difficult to see of the burners have ignited or gone out.
Like a professional grill , well built, easy to use – I love this. Easy to clean but get the bespoke cover for it and it’s a perfect grill for any garden or patio
Really pleased with this griddle. Well made, fast cooking, solid steel griddle plate holds the heat. Big enough for several meals to be cooked at once. Recommend

Bought this plancha as an alternative to a bbq. Couldn’t be more surprised and pleased! So easy to use, nothing sticks, nothing burns and so easy to clean. A definite recommendation to anyone.
What a bbq griddle!! The 3 gas burners are so efficient and the grilling plate is so substantial it heats up so quickly. Easy to wipe down and clean. Would not go back to a conventional gas bbq. Highly recommended.
The item arrived promptly but there was a fault on the cooking plate – sent a message via Amazon and got a call from the company and a replacement item arrived within 5 days
Great alternative to a standard barbecue. A well made and robust table top cooker for the garden and camping. Pleased with it. Can cook a lot of food on it.
Eventually found a usable Planche (2 burner) BBQ after discovering the free to use electric BBQs in the national parks of OZ. This almost fits the bill. It is relatively light in weight, quick to heat up and should be easy to move to winter storage. The cooking plate is not too heavy, quite easy to clean and will even fit in the dishwasher!!! (Not sure if Dellonda would support that!)
The price was acceptable.
Two ‘gripes’: (1) – Why can’t the gas feed tube face 90down to more easily access the gas bottle, well clear of the brick housing and possible kinking of the pipe and, (2) – a Stainless Steel cooking plate option would REALLY be nice and make a much easier to clean and condition cooking surface (OZ-esque!).
All in all a nice a very usable product, Dellonda. I look forward to your future upgrade – maybe?

Speedy delivery. Ideal weight/size to carry and store. Quick to assemble and up and running within 15 minutes of unpacking. Easy to use controls. Cooked food perfectly. Quick and easy to clean down. Ideal for large family and small events
Delivered a day late but no problem used it a couple of days ago absolutely great cooked everything just as I wanted, great, can’t wait to use it again but English Summer probably will be couple of months

seems to works well, only used it once thus far. It wasn’t non stick so the burgers, in particular, stuck to it. To be fair, I may have had it on too hot. Time will tell.
Also the grease doesn’t run down to the grease trap very well, you have to scrape it along using a spatula. Maybe I need to adjust the levels on the BBQ?
Believe it or not I used it for a bbq. I do use a frying mat on it easier to keep clean. Works very well would recommend.

This was exactly what I was hoping for. The hot plate turned out to be quite a bit bigger than we were expecting, so we could easily have done with the 3-bar version. So far it has ignited properly every time. It takes a few mins for the hot plate to warm up properly, but that seems reasonable – so does the hotplate on our gas hob. We also bought the stand for it. This also is fit for purpose, but the unit does move around on top of the stand, so we will need to find something to go between the feet of the grill and the surface to prevent slippage.
Overall, very happy with the product so far.

Much larger than expected and very good quality. Possibly should have bought the three burner model. Seems to be made in the UK could be big plus point.

Not used at yet but clearly very good quality. But very heavy for a portable appliance. Also a lot larger than the photo suggests so please check the dimensions meet your needs. Will need a stand built.
What a great addition to your outdoor cooking station ! Changes your options to include all sauted vegetables etc and a different type of grilling than Bbq
Simple to set up and use. Perfect for cooking stuff that you would normally use on a hot plate, like burgers, steaks etc.. Easy to clean.
Really well made and solid. Doesn’t have a stand but hubby made one! Really easy to light. Takes a while to heat up but thats due to the plate being heavy. Great for cooking lots of food at the same time for a large gathering and you can put one burner on low to keep stuff warm until you are ready. Definately recommend.
Like a lot of people I suspect, I got fed up cleaning my gas barbeque; watching food fall through the slots and struggling to get an even cook across food.
Last year I bought an electric teppanyaki grill plate to use indoors, but I found that it became my go-to solution for an impromptu bbq without the hassle. Quick even cooking and easy to clean and store. So, when the time came to replace the bbq I started to look for a gas grill alternative.
I did a fair bit of research first and was amazed at the varying prices for planchas. Delllonda seemed to be a good fit between functionality and price. Before buying I had a few queries and called Dellonda. A shout out to their customer service. First class. Couldn’t have been more helpful and seemed pleased to interact with customers.
Delivery was fast. It is well packed and set up is very simple with clear instructions. The unit weighs around 15kg, but its immediately clear that the most of that weight is in the large enamelled griddle which lifts off. The base and burners are very light, but not flimsy.
The unit has three round gas burners which ignite quickly with the piezo igniter. Each burner can be ignited separately. There is good ventilation around the frame which stops the unit itself getting warm in use, and there is very good clearance between the bottom of the unit and whatever it is sitting on. There is no stand available for the plancha. It easily fits on a medium patio table.
However, like all gas burners outside, with an exposed flame it works best in a sheltered spot.
The unit is attractive with an angled front brushed stainless finish with chrome effect heat dials which each have a good rubber grip ring.
The star of the show is the griddle itself. This is a large heavy, deep enamelled cooking surface on four feet which set into the base easily. The rear two feet on the griddle itself are adjustable to get an even flat surface or to provide a camber to let excess oil flow freely to the drip hole in the bottom right of the grill, which empties into a generous drip tray, which in turn has its own little pouring lip for easy empty.
The underneath of the griddle top has a thin heat dissipater to allow an even spread of heat. This appears to work quite well.
Before first use, I lit the plancha on high for all three burners and generously coated the griddle surface with veg oil to let it burn in and remove smells etc. I found it took as long as a barbeque to reach full heat.

When adjusted the burners regulate heat well. The cooking surface is large enough to cook for around 6 people easily, perhaps more. What I really like was that I was able to cook steaks and vegetables on one surface at regulated heat. Steaks cooked evenly with a good sear and with the help of a temperature probe were done to a turn.
Most bbq’s say oil your food, not the cooking surface. Personally I think this plancha cooks best with a generous coating of oil on the surface and not the food. It seems to stop excessive caramelisation when it comes to cleaning.
Best of all this griddle is easy to clean. A wipe to get rid of any excess oil and debris and the application of hot soapy water is all that was needed. The odd stubborn spot justed needed another good rub. The surface came up as good as new.
The oil drip tray is a decent size and also coated metal. It is the one slightly weak spot in this otherwise excellent product. The drip tray is held in with a little metal lug which is meant to hold the tray securely when in place. It is not as secure as I would like, but a tip from another reviewer (thank you Blue Leader) solves the problem, with the application of button magnets on the tray lop either side (see photo) and its held securely in place,
Storage is a boon, taking up little space in a garage, shed or even indoors. For oldies like me, the fact that the griddle separates from the base means moving the plancha around can be done without straining the muscles.
I can see years of use form this plancha and can’t see me buying a bbq again. It’s already drawn praise.

I used the grill for the first time today and I was very impressed how easy it is to use. The food was cooked quickly and evenly . The regulators allowed for different temps across the grill which I found very useful.
Great product, the plate itself is very heavy and well coated. So much cleaner and nicer to use than a conventional barby. Clean with water, I just leave it to soften for 5 mins then wipe it off. Very pleased with it and getting a lot of use as it makes cooking outside easy
Great bit of kit bought it for my father in law who loves it.
This piece of kit is a great addition to any garden kitchen. The heat output is fantastic and it’s big enough to cook for all your family and friends. Very easy to lift off the cooking plate and give it a good clean.. it is a bit heavy but I managed it ok.
Very important to me to have a table top BBQ and the ‘Plancha’ a great solution.
Came a day early. Takes a while to heat up but cooks fine after this. Easily transportable and easy to clean love the little tray that all the fat and oil go into.
Fantastic, if I had anything to feedback I am disappointed with the fat tray, it’s loose and actually fell out full of grease staining my flags, only that the upsides are so good I would have returned it, this does need resolving
bought the portable planch to replace old bbq just wanted something smaller and easy to store away when not in use which this is. only thing a bit fiddley was griddle not a lot of space to attach screws other wise very pleased.
