Just wanna say it is making my life a little easier at work!!!
Great tool, took me a while to figure out how to use the hex key to tighten the locking nut, but there seems to be a spacer missing to fix the disc down properly, even when tight I can spin the disc by hand
Non l ho ancora provato a fondo, un po pesante per essere un 115 cm, cavo lungo, Attenzione da questo negozio inglese lo forniscono con presa inglese, inutilizzabile in Italia, ho dovuto sostituirla con una pi comune shuko, non ha il filo di massa. In questi giorni lo prover e far un implementazione.
Bene, ho avuto modo di provarlo, sia per tagliare che per levigare, inoltre l’ho usato con una spazzola di acciaio per pulire dalla ruggine, l’impressione positiva, un po rumoroso ma ha una potenza straordinaria, frulla sempre, strumento da profesionista.
Really good product – mostly like the ability to rotate the guard without the need for tools.
Needed an angle grinder to cut paving slabs and opted for a Dewalt. Not disappointed at all, typical DEwalt quality, perhaps a bit heavy, but very easy to use and did a great job.
It’s dewalt so it’s robust and does exactly what it’s supposed to.
Can’t beat it, grst value and good sturdy box to keep it safe. There are cheaper options but dewalt have a good warranty and worth the extra money IMO
I use this to grind out patio joints, does a great Job. Sturdy case.
Have used for a couple of home jobs to cut bricks and masonry and it dies the with ease. Easy to handle for accurate cuts, even for a amateur.

Nice and powerful. No chance of gloved hands covering the vents and causing it to overheat. But will be tricky to use if you are lefhanded due to the positioning of the switch. Also switch locks on and your hands can be some way away from it, which may give you a fright in an emergency (or worse). You need to understand that this is not suitable for anything other than grinding as there is no speed control (I use a cheap grinder from Lidl for wire brushing as it’s got a speed dial). Being Dewalt, it will probably go on for ever …
Excellent product. My old one broke down some time ago. This one is superb.
A great solid product. Found it a bit difficult to hold the locking bottom down whilst changing the disk.
A very good angle grinder with plenty of power. A bit bigger & heavier than i expected but still very manageable with one hand if needed.

Brilliant. Good heft to it and plenty of clout. Worth the extra cost. Plus the box is pretty impressive in it’s own right.
It is a pleasure to use.
The slide switch is perfect and the no volt release is great. It is so easy to adjust the guard. I was a bit dubious about the allen key to release the lock nut for the disc but now that I have used it I think it is much better than the old style pin wrench.
Only downside is the switch is hard to switch off especially with gloves on.
They come with a sturdy box and a long power cord longer than my Bosch grinder had. I have used these with good quality blades to cut porcelain floor and wall tiles and solid limestone flags, so far so good.
in my arsenal. Does what it says and does it well. I am not using it on a daily basis, but when I do, it does exactly what it is supposed to do.

Good grinder but came with Allen key tool instead of two pronged wrench. Luckily I ordered a quick release nut but very bad from dewalt.

one disappointing thing is the quality of the carry case particularly the clips that hold it closed, or not in this case !

(For the NOOBS) . . Seriously! make sure know the difference between ‘cutting’ discs and ‘grinding’ discs – your health will thank you if you do! (you’d understand if you ever saw an idiot use a cutting disc to grind with and witnessed it shatter and chew his face . . . just saying).

Great device to cut through and grind many different things.
I was hopeful it would just about cut through a 40mm block but unfortunately it doesnt quite have enough clearance.
I also couldnt find the serial number to register it for it’s warranty but that is probably just me.
Overall, a must for many DIYers
Far more powerful than the usual fare. The torque is so great, it nearly took my wrist off. Makes cutting and grinding a pleasure.
Typical Dewalt high quality and performance, this has been a really good tool for my occasional use
Easy to use, well-made grinder – useful case, too. I’ve not owned a grinder before but I found this very easy to get used to. The long (about 4m) cable is also helpful. It’s hard to find fault but, if I was being picky, I’d say that the locking clasps on the case could have been made of more substantial material – they feel very flimsy; that said, they haven’t failed yet.
If you do register the tool on the DeWalt website for the extended warranty then you may find their instructions for finding the serial number a bit confusing – they say that it will be on the side of the grinder body and not on the box, but it isn’t! This particular model has all the information printed on a sticker attached to the side of the case, which seems a bit daft as you’d have to return the case as well if the grinder needs to be repaired under warranty… I did report this to DeWalt, so maybe they’ll update their website or start putting the info on the grinder body.
I suppose I could have purchased a cheaper version, but overall I am very pleased with the quality and performance of this tool….it never
fails to be up for the job .
Used this to cut up a water tank left in the loft – which it did admirably (but with a lot of dust as you might expect). Powerful and easy to handle.
So far it is proving a good bit of kit.

I use this grinder everyday in a very taxing industrial environment and so far it hasn’t missed a beat. It had a nice ergonomic shape, the switch engages with a reassuring snap and is easy to operate. The casing is tough and highly impact resistant and also doesn’t seem affected by the usual oils and other grime associated with a workshop.
On the whole I would recommend this grinder for either home workshop or professional use.
Top quality. As with all power tools, you get what you pay for. I choose to pay extra for DeWalt as I have many of their tools and they really are top notch.

Dewalt are my default when it comes to power tools. Great product.
Much better than the old one. Slow start helps, but it takes longer to stop !! don’ try with your hands !!!!
Excellent piece of kit very powerful and comes in a handy robust carry case.
Comfortable safety glasses are essential, but if like me you’re only using once in a blue moon, a pair of glasses for 3 or for pounds are good enough, I’m a retired health and safety officer.
Take your time, don’t rush the job, and like me you’ll enjoy what you’ve done.
The DeWalt might cost a bit more but for everything it offers it’s worth the extra.
