Dewalt DWST1-75552 Tool Belts & Carpenter's Aprons, Yellow/Black

About us

Raymond E. DEWALT followed in his father’s steps, and worked in plants and construction after leaving school. In all fields of work he encountered the issue of high labour costs. To help reduce these costs, whenever possible he installed a machine to handle specific needs.

One fine day, M. DEWALT was hired to head a wood mill, manufacturing numerous products, from basic boxes to complete houses. The amount of work exceeded the company’s capacity by far, but its owner could not afford to increase the headcount. The only solution was to ensure his men produced more work. M. DEWALT built a yoke, which he connected directly to a motor and a saw. He then fitted it onto a standard arm. The saw could be raised, lowered, moved forward and backward, and adapted to all types of angles. With this system, he could handle the same amount of work as four men, reducing labor costs beyond his wildest imagination.

I absolutely love thus tool belt. I had looked at different brands of similar quality but I had found them all very big and too many pockets. This belt however is simple with plenty of room in the available pockets. Also some options to change the configuration to suit each individual.

I finally got fed up of tools all over the floor, or on my work bench when I’m working, so I picked up this on the recommendation of a friend. It’s very capacious with plenty of holes for screws, drivers, hammers etc. It might be because it’s still new, but the belt does irritate a little after a couple of hours. I expect that to improve as it gets more supple. Now I have everything I need to hand.

A really great bit of kit – however the belt however is punched leather and not adjustable enough for the ‘smaller waist line’ – will need to trim off 8″ of leather and get additional holes punched in.!

Hammer is placed at base of spine, which can be painful if you lean or fall back.

Been looking to get a new tool belt for a while and very happy with this one. Pockets are nice and big for putting fixings in and has some nice size pockets for small bits.

Great lightweight nail bag. I like the way that all the parts can be bought individually. The price fluctuates on these quite a bit.

The belt is very good but I recommend it with a harness

I’m a DIY-er and I’ve only used the belt twice and it’s not worn in yet, but to date I’m please.

I bought it mainly for using up a ladder or steps, but I’m sure the longer I have it, the more I’ll use it, like other tools, I’ve got to get used to it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAlways wanted a tool belt, bought it and it’s definitely built tough, not used it an awful lot but came in very handy whilst up on scaffold fitting roofline I’m about. 32″ waist and I use it on the tightest belt holes…comfortable to wear all day loaded with tools…would definitely consider the harness? If I used it everyday and carried more tools in i

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWell built and very good quality – I was concerned that it wouldn’t fit large ppl and there was no indication on size of belt that I could see. Well it just about fit could have done with it been a bit bigger or available in a larger size
