This is well made and easy to use. It is low voltage and charges via USB. Therefore, one cannot expect much torque from it. So one needs to use it very lightly with, for example, polishing pads. Otherwise it slows down quickly with too much pressure.
If you are using drill bits or burrs with a wide base gauge it’s fine, I use wax carving burrs and they are too small to fit into this Dremel, they should design it to accommodate slightly smaller burrs.
I using for polishing wire wrapped jewelry. It is working perfectly I never used on other one so I can’t compare . It is really light weight easy to handle.
ice cordeless hand tool, used it once, seems good, hope it lasts
It is easy to use but I had to google how to change certain bits as the instructions are very inadequate but I love this tool – wish they had more varied options for buying extra bits – you have to buy loads you’ll never use.
The look on his face when he opened this gift was priceless As soon as he opened it he was off round the house looking for little pojjrcts he could do. It’s one of those gifts that has loads of accessories you could buy for his next birthday, xmas etc
Once you’ve perfected the technique, it’s so quick and easy
A very handy tool, easy to use but people with smaller hands may struggle
Great handy tool. I have a corded power Black & Decker Rotary Tool but this is so much better to use because it’s cordless. Easy to use too 🙂
Fits in the hand really well. I’ve used it more than I thought I would already.
Would be even better if it came with some kind of case. I ended up finding one on ebay but it wouldn’t kill them to include one.
Overall a great tool for light duty job and hobbyists.
The lock button does get in the way when you’re trying to do intricate work but overall it’s ok
Great hand piece for a variety of uses, very good speed variety, I use for jewelery polishing, and small DIY work.
handy with no cord and low noise easy to use
The product is fine but the delivery guy was unnecessarily annoying. The other day he banged his fist on the front window to get my attention. My Romanian rescue street dog jumped out of her skin! (She’s only been with us less than a week and was just beginning to settle). We have a doorbell so why not ring it? I followed him out and told him this is not on. He apologised – fair enough!
Today he banged oil the door and fled before I could ‘have a word”. Why can’t he use the doorbell. Everyone else delivering does. Cretin!
Such a beautiful tool to work with, uncambered by electrical leads.
This should have been called light not lite because it can certainly put in a hard day’s graft whilst being very comfortable to hold.
Great easy to use very light, low noise does dogs nails effortlessly
Brilliant got me out of a few problems, I have a mains powered one has well haven’t got a extension that long !!!
This cheap version of the Dremel tool is generally satisfactory, but only the safety instructions are explained in text: general operation is often obscure because it’s explained only in drawings.
Very light and comfortable to work with. I do not have a workshop and have to use it in the garden, therefore needed it to be battery operated. The batter does not seem to last long (possibly due to me enjoying my new hobby) so I have reverted to plugging in an extension lead. The charging lead is very light and does not hinder me at all, this does give me a bit extra time.
Good tool. Also its not made in china so bonus
Carves into wood, stone or slate and once you get used to it, is fantastic piece of ki
Fairly simple to use bt chuck could be a bit easier to operate, can be fidley
Love this Dremel so light and easy to hold and use, I’ve done loads of jobs with it and the charge lasts well
The bits with it were a little sparse, there was not a small disc grinder for my bit toe nail, which is why |I bought it.
But I managed to do some damage witrh it, and some good little jobs.
The tool was heavier and more substantial thatI expected.

A great easy product and highly recommend and nice and small and compact. Used for removing cement old grout and made the job so much easier and cheaper each time rather than getting an overpriced quote which cost more than this tool.
I bought this as a replacement for a cheaper version i had bought but couldn’t find. It does countless jobs with great ease. Its easy to use and comfortable to hold. Much superior than cheaper copies. Would I buy again? . . Yes!
Love this little tool so far easy to use for crafting doesn’t last too long when charged up
Definitely worth the cash.
I got this for tinkering mainly, to have in my van for small repairs and to use for craft down the line. During the lockdown I have been working in maintenance and working on my van too, this wee tool has come in useful so often when I need to get into small tight spaces or just need a delicate part sanded or ground out. I also purchased a flexi extension for it so it can get into even more nooks and crannies.
Definitely worth the cash.
Love this little drill . Easy to use , not heavy and comes with great tools.
Purchased for my wife and her love of craft. Nice tool.
I do a lot of wood work and it fantastic for the finer details.
In terms of power this one performs massively better. I only use my rotary tools for filing and cutting small brass or plastic components, but the previous one would frequently stop unless I cut at a frustratingly slow speed – this one has no problems.
Makes me regret wasting money on the previous one and not just paying for a decent tool to begin with.
Really useful and able to be used anywhere without having a cable. Quick delivery.

VERY LITTLE VIBRATION, QUALITY THROUGH AND THROUGH. I USE THESE TOOLS OFTEN, AND NOTHING COMES NEAR THIS UNIT.
I RECOMMEND THIS DREMEL AS THE BEST ON THE MARKET.
As you would expect from Dremel this is an excellent tool. Only fault I could say is that it doesnt come with a 3 jaw chuck, but a bought one easily and it now accepts a very large variety of bits and accessories. Well recommended
Great product, does exactly what I need it to do, quality.
The only comment I would make is that the picture you show is not what I got, there was no tools only the uni
Quality, quality, quality !!! Good price. I love working with this item. Thanks
The attachments are somewhat limited but useful nonetheless.
It is expensive considering the lack of attachments but it IS a quality Dremel rotary tool & that’s why you’re being asked to pay the extra.
Quality comes at a price.
My dad is into all sorts of little craftmanship type projects as a hobby and he loves this Dremel tool. The cordless tool makes it very versatile and it comes with multiple accessories that do everything that’s listed on the box and more. He’s happy with this and says would recommend to anyone as it is handy tool to have, easy to hold and use and doesn’t cost the earth!
I’ve used a dremel before and was suspicious about a cordless model. However, it performed well and it does exactly what it’s corded predecessor did. It is accompanied by some basic. bits, which are useful and come in a small box. My only gripe is that it would be good to have a more sturdy case for it, rather than the injection plastic wrapper it came in.
This is well made and easy to use. It’s good for doing engraving once you get used to how to hold it (so definitely have a practice run first). The switch is a bit stiff and it’s a bit lumpy to hold (but doesn’t slip in your hand).
Overall a useful small tool and ideal for doing small jobs (e.g. sanding tiny areas, polishing, drilling, sharpening, and engraving).
My son and I are still getting use to this fabulous tool so can’t claim that we have used all of its features nor realised all of its benefits BUT I am happy to review what we have found/experienced so far.
The speed variability and multi-tool kit is enabling us to tackle a number of tasks we had been trying to undertake (some for years). As we are both ‘creative’ and like to think ‘outside the box’ one such project has been remodelling some ceramic night-light skulls (yes, really) – and we are, therefore, now experimenting to our hearts content with this great tool from Dremel.
It is very easy to handle and the twin-speeds on offer have also been of real benefit to my son and I. Sadly (for us) one or two of our artistic friends know that we have it and we are being pressured into ‘letting them have a go’ – I said sadly because we WON’T be sharing any time soon. They can buy their own – and at this price they will get excellent value for money!
In the meantime we will continue to experiment and explore and, as the summer beckons probably begin a few outdoor projects too….
I’ve wanted a Dremel Cordless for a long time as there so many small jobs around the home it will be useful for as well as craftwork.
It charges up in 2/3 hours. The battery has lasted long enough for the small jobs I have done so far. The speed can be adjusted which is good as you don’t always want a high speed.
Changing the bits us easy and quick. The small selection of accessories provided is a good tasting kit so you can explore the capabilities of the Dremel Lite, and help with many tasks but once you realise how much you can do, you will want more.
It feels good in my hand and did a reasonable job of sanding around the spindles of a chair but to get in really close I will have to buy a cone sanding bit. My next job will be cleaning up the edges of a metal rail I need to cut and fit. Then I’ll move on to sharpening some garden tools. It’s just occurred to me I can engrave herb names on slate, wooden sticks, or terracotta pots as well. I have a feeling this is a tool that I’m going to use a lot.
My only complaint is that the instructions are not easy to follow and it was muddling sorting out the various attachments and tools. This led to it sitting unused for a while.
I finally decided to get to grips with it and looked for videos instead and all became crystal clear. The capability of this tool is truly revealed on the videos and I recommend searching for them. There are some really inspirational ones on woodcarving, glass etching etc.
I have only used it for sharpening knives so far
Did the job fine.
Easy to hold.
Multifunctional tool at an excellent price.
Good product.
I Bought my first ‘corded’ Dremel in 2006, Still going strong Today. I also have the Bigger Version with detachable battery
3 years old Still going strong. (8220) So I feel confident in My Views on this Tool.
The first thing I would do is order Detailers Grip, (577) along with your Dremel. I have two. & they make using your Dremel so much easier saves on Muscle aches & Thumb strain. Recharges fast & I would say the Battery charge lasts a long while, (used it over 3 days of grinding Track pins) only charged the once. What I did miss was On my first Dremel, it had a digital speed display, This has a sliding Button. Still really effective, & Using correct Accessories make a good job of what you do. Ok I Have now for my Dremel collection, Circular saw, Router, Pillar drill., I Have a small workshop full of Dremel tools The only things they could add is a Planer, & Laser cutter. Then why would you need any other Machine? A perfect addition to my Collection & The best on the market by Far.
This Dremel Lite 7760 Cordless Rotary Tool is quite good, very comfortable and easy to use, which is of quite good quality.
Dremel Lite 7760 Cordless Rotary Tool Li-Ion 3.6 V, Multi Tool Kit with 15 Accessories, Variable Speed 8,000 – 25,000 RPM for Carving, Engraving, Grinding, Sharpening, Cleaning, Polishing and Sanding
Dremel Lite Meet the Dremel Lite. This compact and cordless multitool is your best friend when it comes to light duty detailed work such as sanding, carving, engraving, cleaning, polishing and more. You can use it on a lot of different materials and with its variable speed, compact and comfortable design you can put the detail in your projects anywhere in your house, garden, balcony or outdoors.
I haven’t used this all that much, as I don’t do much DIY; tools like this are very handy to have around though. This is a very versatile and easy-to-use device that comes with quite a few accessories for polishing, grinding, sanding and etc.
It can fit into small gaps, where maybe something needs a little sanding to fit properly, or if you’re doing small metalry and some nuts/bolts need to be polished for rust-removal.
I do find it to be quite pricey though, even by “power tools” standards, but I’m not someone who is all too familiar with tool prices and such, so that’s just my opinion and I could be very wrong here.
All-in-all, 4* from me.
Everyone needs a dremel for those odd jobs around the house but rather than pay full whack for an expensive model where you’re not likely to get much use out of 99% of its power, this Dremel lite model is a great alternative to keep around.
Despite being ‘lite’ it’s certainly not shy of accessories in the box to help with lots of tasks. It has Carving/Engraving tools, Grinding/Sharpening, Cleaning/Polishing and Sanding accessories included.
The Dremel Lite is easy to recharge, using a USB port for charging with a battery that lasts nearly 3 hours, depending on the job. I found that harder work meant that the battery lasted around 2 and a half hours, which is still pretty good. The fact that it’s wireless and small enough to pack away in a drawer makes it ideal for just keeping near to hand. We’ve used this on taps to help take limescale off, for sanding and my daughter is trying it for engraving, so it’s already come in useful.
The only attachment I felt was missing was something for cutting holes, which the more powerful models have. This should still manage, despite being not as powerful, if you do want to buy those and all the accessories work with it, so it has even more uses than those that just come with the machine.
Generally, though, the Dremel Lite is a great little tool that makes easy work of many different jobs.
I have used Dremel tools for years, mostly nicking my Dad’s, for engraving and specialist sanding uses. I have only used the tool for applications in wood, though, so limit my review to this.
This is excellent in every way. In no way would I consider it a ‘lite’ tool – at the highest speed setting it made short work of an engraving job I had waiting to complete – the design is very easy to hold, and I found I could be very precise with the cuts needed to engrave numbers. This is comparable to the corded Dremel my dad has.
The cordless feature is fantastic – it runs for a couple of hours without needing to charge, and I found it gave me so much more flexibility in a small workshop to get the right angle on the engraving, and also to take the tool outside when needed.
Thoroughly recommended.
* This is a great little gadget for home use with DIY, Crafts etc.
* The Dremel Lite is packed in a nice sturdy cardboard box, on which is printed useful information, including the List of Contents.
* Inside the box, the Dremel Lite is safely and securely housed in a plastic moulding. There is a transparent plastic box that contains the Attachments and a little metal Spanner. There is an AC Adaptor and the USB Charging Cable. Also included is the User Manual (which is multilingual), a sheet with Accessory, Attachments and Materials Information, plus a very useful Quick Start Guide.
* This Cordless Multi Tool Kit can be used for Carving, Grinding, Engraving, Sanding, Sharpening, Cleaning & Polishing.
* Before use, it is necessary to fully charge the Dremel Lite, which takes on average just under 3 hours.
* I did not find the User Manual that good but the Quick Start Guide was of much more use.
* It is easy to put the various attachments on to the Dremel Lite and the noise levels are reasonable. The lower the speed the quieter it is.
* There are 4 Speed Settings — 8,000 rpm / 14,000 rpm / 21,000 rpm / 25,000 rpm. This information is on a plate on the back of the unit.
* It is comfortable to hold once you get used to it with its ergonomic shape and a weight of just 0.27kg
The Dremel Lite has a feel of quality to it, which is normal for tools made by Bosch. Obviously being a small hand tool, it is for smaller jobs but I feel it will still give good service if looked after.
At time of Review, the RRP is 56.34 which given the quality and usefulness of the Dremel Lite, represents good value. It makes a nice gift too.
This is a good starter tool, lightweight and easy to hold. But it doesn’t come with very many attachments and does not include a cutting tool so while it’s good for precision work, you will need to buy several additional pieces before you can work any project from start to finish.
Could not be happier with this Dremel Lite! So many heads, really easy to change and lock into place. Super safe and easy to use and the instruction manuals are really helpful as are the Dremel youtube videos.
The engraving tool is amazing, brilliant on glass and you only need to use the first setting to get a great result. I have also used it on wood and have found that the higher the setting the better control you have when engraving.
The fact that it is cordless is honestly superb, you don’t have to worry about manoeuvring the wire out of the way and a full charge definitely lasts long enough for whatever you are doing. When the device is fully charged the green light goes off and if you need to charge it the light will turn red.
Really easy to hold, it is heavy so if you’re a beginner you wrist will ache – this is however brilliant for beginners and the heads that come with the device are a great starter kit!
The polishing pads make up three of your 15 dolls-house-sized accessories, and there are three sanding discs too, so the number of accessories isn’t so generous as it seems. But there’s enough to get you started with grinding and engraving and cleaning. And there’s a whole world of Dremel accessories out there that aren’t too expensive so it’s just a case of deciding what you’re likely to use this for the most.
Being the baby of the range, the Lite’s not really for cutting or drilling apparently so not all accessories are suitable for it.
The Dremel itself is about the size of an electric screwdriver and easy to hold. It’s solidly made but very drab and dated looking. The power switch, which has different speed positions, is very stiff and unpleasant to use, and in a deep groove with sharp edges. At least you won’t nudge it by accident. Also, the ‘chuck lock’ button (you press it while you’re tightening up the thing that holds the tools) has nothing to stop you pressing it while the motor’s running and if you do this you’ll probably ruin everything. The battery charger connector is Micro-USB and just a simple wire.
The instructions are those pictograms that nobody understands plus a technical document in 19 languages and micro print. Do yourself a huge favour and search YouTube for Dremel Lite. Much easier than trying to figure out the instructions. Spicy110 has a good video.
Having already got some dirt in my eye using it, I highly recommend you get yourself some eye protection. If you get serious you’re also bound to need some sort of clamp or vice eventually.
The design of the easy-release collar around the tip of the Dremel that you use to tighten tools into the chuck is very clever. And the machine feels very solid in the hand (Dremel is a Bosch brand after all). It’s not especially cheap and weirdly drab, but (as long as you don’t need to drill or cut) this could be a very useful thing to have around the house. I suspect I’ll use mine much more than my regular power tools because it’s just so handy and easy. Its uses are really only limited by your imagination.
This Dremel cordless rotary tool is just brilliant. Initially I was only interested in its etching capabilities – I have been doing slate drawings for years using hand tools but have always been curious how I would feel about a battery operated tool. I was nervous at first worried about pressure and etching too deeply but the Dremel is so comfortable to use I found I adjusted very quickly. Its easy to use and is purely an extension to my hand, the precision is excellent. This tool has so many capabilities, it boosts sharpening so I tried it on my garden sheers, thought due to the size of the Dremel it wouldn’t be that affective but sharpened the sheers well enough! Had a go at polishing metal – worked really well. Charges well via USB, light and comfortable to use all round excellent product.
Delivered by Royal mail .
This Dremel light cordless rotary tool is brilliant . I like to craft and it’s going to be amazing using it for glass etching and wood carvings .
I’ve been carving walking sticks for while now and with the engraving and carving tool attachment this will enable me to get more detailed in the handles .
I’ll also be using the polishing attachment for some of my brass .
It’s extremely simple to change out the attachments , you just twist the cap anti clockwise to undo add the attachment and twist clockwise to fasten .
It’s recharged using a usb cable which fits into the handle . You get a green led light when it’s charging and the light goes red when it needs a charge .
Light to hold and comfortable to use I’m really impressed .
I know Dremel is a well known name for tools this is no exception , it’s just what I have wanted and the quality is amazing .
Priced at 56.34 I don’t know why I didn’t get one before !
