We have acquired a pc from 2009 it only had 2gb (e x 1gb) of ram but supports upto 8Gb this kit did exactly what I wanted and works brilliantly
Upgraded an old ACER E1-571 from its original 4GB to 8GB. Works great so far, but I have not benchmarked this new RAM against the old. Also upgraded the harddrive to a SSD Kingston KC600, which had by far the greatest impact on the old machine’s performance.
Fantastic bit of kit takes no time to install and runs like a new computer now well worth adding to the Mac
Great price, speedy delivery, and quick and easy to fit. Has given my previously painfully slow MacBook Pro a bit more of a kick but I think I now need to swop the HDD to a SSD to get full benefit. Overall I was impressed – it was a pretty seamless switch over. Many thanks.
I bought this for my dad’s Acer laptop. Fitted alongside the existing ram within 5 minutes and it worked perfectly
Kept getting BSOD and diagnostics pointed to a faulty memory module. My laptop only had the one x 8Gb module fitted so this was a replacement and worked perfectly. If it had been a bit cheaper would have bought two of them, as the laptop had two bays but it was too much outlay for a 6 yr old laptop.
Easily installed in my pc. Started up and recognised first time. Runs as expected
I have had a couple issues buying ram in the past but this ram has left me a very satisfied customer. Great packaging aswell
Easy to install, no problems clipping this into my HP Pavilion. Pushing it up to 8 has covered off the problems with RAM I was having as a result of Win10 updates and Chromedrain. No software needed on mine, I had found out from the HP manual what my RAM limit was going to be, so all good.
These RAM cards fitted into my Acer Aspire E1-571 very easily following the directions given. When I switched on there was a blank screen – so I removed them and rubbed a pencil eraser on the connection strips ( as suggested) and replaced them and they worked. However, there was a big lag between logging onto Windows 10 and the home screen. I looked in the System folder and clicked on About and noticed that although the installed RAM said 8GB the usable memory was about 3GB. To cure this annomaly in the ‘Type here to search box’ I typed in msconfig and opened that setting. Clicked on the Boot tab. Ticked Maximum memory. This highlighted 8192MB. Clicked on OK. Then back in the previous screen clicked Apply and Then OK and closed it. Now the home screen comes up quickly and the machine is a lot faster. I checked the available memory and it is now 6.58 usable!
What can I say, great value for a no-frills stick of RAM.
No errors reported on memtest86+ stress test and the SPD reported is the same as sold. Shows up as Hynix as the actual chip manufacturer who are a very large and reputable chip maker from Korea, so I guess you can be confident that this is a good quality bargain stick of RAM.
I have been using this product for more than a year. There are currently no quality issues. At the same time, this product helped me a lot. The speed of the computer is greatly improved. Helped me complete many important projects.
Fast dispatch and shipping.
Modules appear to be populated with SK Hynix chips. Passed all the Dell system check tests built into my Dell Optiplex 9010 AIO BIOS. I meant to give the RAM a proper hammering with MEMTEST86 but I haven’t got around to it yet. Very significant performance increase having gone from 4GB (not enough RAM to run a web browser today) to 16GB. I did drop from 1600Mhz to 1333Mhz speed wise but i think that makes no effective difference for basic office workstation. If you are after the most performance you’ll have to go for Corsair etc. but they are 30+% more expensive for the same amount of RAM. Am very happy with this purchase so fa
I originally selected memory modules for my laptop using the Crucial memory selection tool, however the modules it directed me to did not work (the laptop recognised them but rebooted every time the OS loaded). After some extensive Googling I discovered the problem might be the number of chips on each module. Crucial’s offering had four chips, but my original modules had eight. I looked around and found the modules I am reviewing.
The product description offered an email for enquiries about compatibility, which I used and was told in a prompt and friendly email that they were compatible. They were! They arrived securely packaged in a metal tin, lined with dense foam padding. This seemed very secure and unlikely to pose a static risk. They fitted well and the OS loaded successfully. Good job all round!
Well as the title says,
I gambled and didn’t mind paying a little more than I wanted, But it’s worth it as these modules
(2x 8Gbts) worked a treat.
Very easy to fit (I’m a electronics and computer engineer) and run a test program? Sure enough they tested 100% (15.7Gbts) of Ram running @ 128000.
I know I’ve paid a little more than from other suppliers (Ebay) but it’s worth having peace of mind with full warranty and easy return (not needed in this instance) So I’m very happy with these modules and they are 100% genuine.
So I’d strongly recommend these modules and now having 16Gbts at my disposal and my computer boots up 5.5 seconds faster now (SSD 256Gbts) drive on Windows 10 Pro.
Absolutely perfect!
One very happy chappy.

Nice Work Amazon.
I previously bought 2 x 8gb sticks for one of my laptops so I could have 16gb running dual channel. Because as we know dual channel RAM is slightly faster than having one 16gb stick. (It’s like having 2 doors into a room instead of everyone trying to go in through one door and getting stuck behind the fat person).
I took the original 4gb stick out and put it into another laptop that already had a 4gb stick in it but a different brand. RAM memory can be a fickle thing. Ideally to run it as dual channel, both sticks need to be exactly the same brand/ speed etc or they just don’t get on. These Duomeiqi RAM sticks seem to get on with everything. My laptop picked it up straight away and showed it was running 8gb at dual channel. I since bought another 4gb to add to a friends laptop and again it picked it up straight away and showed it as running dual channel. I can highly recommend this brand. No fuss, no bother, just push it into the second RAM slot and it just works.
This arrived very promptly and was sensibly packaged. All in all, I was delighted with it and would strongly recommend it.
I selected this RAM because in the reviews, people had commented on having old computers and laptops. My pc is based on an AMD motherboard. I constructed it myself and have upgraded various parts at various times. It also has programs installed that I cannot replace so although I have a very modern superfast pc, I love the ‘oldie’ for several reasons.
Unfortunately the RAM was not compatible so had to be returned – no problem with that, and as my old pc still operates on its 6 Gigs of older DDR2, I have to be happy with that.
My son has an HP Elitebook 8460P laptop bought from e-Bay. It has always been slow, initially we thought it was to do with the Windows 10 installation, however, we decided to upgrade the laptops memory from 4Gb to 16Gb to see if that improved the speed before we would purchase a SSD hard drive. The results were outstanding, initially, Chrome would take 1 minute to load, now, with the 16Gb memory, it only takes 2 seconds. A massive improvement.
I must admit, I had never heard of this make of memory chips before, I would normally go for the standard well known brands, but as this was for my son’s laptop and we didn’t want to spend too much money on figuring out the cause of the slowness, it made sense to purchase cheaper memory modules. In the end, the memory chips were perfect.
My son has been using these now for over a week, and hasn’t had any problems. He uses the laptop for school work and playing games and has told me that the speed increase is significant.
Very happy with the purchase, would definitely buy this make of memory again.
Difficulty of installation will depend on your laptop and whether there is an easy access panel to get to the memory slots. Mine was a pain in the rear as it required a motherboard removal as the memory slots were on the underside and there is no access panel on the bottom. Take lots of pictures and take a look for you laptop dismantling guide on YouTube videos which I’m 99% sure someone would have uploaded. Durability again is unable to be done as I have only just got it so time will tell. Value for money is outstanding as was delivery. Ran CPU-Z and showed that my existing and new memory is running at the same speed and timings which is great and now 16GB in dual channel mode makes a really good increase in performance which was a pleasant surprise. Would I buy again? dead right I would.
