Not easiest to set up but once you get it going it’s a doddle to use. Set it on auto and leave it to do its thing.
Large enough water receptacle to keep from emptying too often.
1. Good on the minimal noise – can place at bedroom but it is heavy to move.
2. Good humidistat, so energy efficient I think so.
3. Can’t control the dehumidifier with my phone using the Duux smartphone app, ie. can’t control it remotely (thru lower speed Wifi by downgrade my home Wi-Fi to suit this app – impossible & out-date). Make me feel very upset.
4. Can’t have the timer setting on and off – then I can’t switch on the dehumidifier at the midnight ( from 3am to 5am – higher condensation period).
I keep this dehumidifier downstairs as the living room is the largest room in the house and I find it heavy to carry up the stairs. it extracts water very efficiantly and has a easy removable storage tank which can hold up to 4L. I normally use the automatic mode which will stop when the tank is full, so no change of an overflow but if you need you can also use the pipe provided and the continuous mode and place the pipe in a larger bucket to collect the water. I haven’t had to use it this way as the 4l capacity is efficient for me.
It is pricey but you get a good quality device, that actually works ive been using mine since September 2021 daily and it still is great. You also have the option to control it with the free app however I have not tried that or connected it to the app. As its simple enough to just use the buttons on the top.
This Dehumidifier works amazingly and helps reduce condensation and I know longer have a problem with damp spots under the windows. The Dehumidifier is large and heavy with touch control and digital display on the top. Can easily be moved as it has wheels and also a strong large handle.

Absolutely love it. Had it 2 days and it’s does an amazing job at reducing the damp and condensation in the house already. Only criticism is it’s quite heavy even when empty

The hose to connect for continuous drainage is provided, however, we’ve never used it as it complicates moving the dehumidifier.

There is also an indicator of water tank level, which shows when its full and requires emptying (the device automatically switchess off in this case). This dehumidifier is not very noisy, you get used to the sound quickly and just stop noticing it at all.
Bora could be a part of your smart house as it can be controlled from the mobile phone via free Duux app (our dehumidifier downstairs doesn’t have this smart feature).

I’m so impressed with this dehumidifier, it has made such a difference where we have used it. We recently re-painted our hallway and with this de-humidifier running it dried a LOT quicker. Since then I’ve been using it in our garden cabin and I’ve been so impressed. We were worried that over the winter this space could feel cold and damp but the air it puts out is slightly warmed so leaving it running on automatic means that the cabin feels great! I’ve been pleasantly surprised that it will run for a few days before it needs emptying. Emptying the water is easy and the water collection container has a lid and handle to help avoid spillages. We haven’t set it up for continuous drainage as we like the flexibility of being able to move it. It has wheels which is really handy, but if you can’t wheel it, it’s not particularly heavy to carry. Very happy!

The ambient humidity is usually between 70 and 80% which means that combatting mould is a constant challenge. This Dehumidifier has been great so far, its small capacity means it means emptying at least every couple of days, but the direct discharge hose means that it can easily be permanently installed somewhere discreet and chug away in the background. The excellent feature of this dehumidifier is that it does not heat as it dries, the benefit being that it doesn’t overheat the bedroom before bedtime creating a stuffy atmosphere. The App itself is pretty basic and doesn’t add much in the way of functionality from manual control, which is perhaps because its so simple and to operate, its certainly not overcomplicated which is also a great boon!

This is a clever dehumidifier that fits well in our home as we are very technically minded and as I suffer from seasonal asthma so having a good air quality is a massive help to allow me to breath clearer.
The unit can run for quite a while as it has a 4 ltr tank in it, however that does make it a bit larger than some other units out there – i found it handy. What i like is that not only does it clear the air of humidity, but it also has a carbon filter too so does a decent amount of cleaning the air also.
We use this during the day so have not been able to test the night time however it isn’t madly noisy and you can hook it up to the app for further control however we just used the top of the unit.
