Was plesantly surprised after i didnt like dynasty warriors 9 but they exceeded my expectations with this
Based on ancient china’s three kingdoms period, this game allows you to take over the land as any of the famous officers/rulers or creat your own hero to take over,
Siege weapons, tactics and many routes let you feel immersed
Great game. Feels quite different to DW9 but doesn’t at the same time.
Battles themselves are not open world like the original dynasty warriors 9 but you can still free roam whilst going for a stroll between battles.
Gameplay is smooth and not too easy. I play on Chaos mode and it can be quite a challenge but isn’t impossible.
Wish there was more outfits in the character creation, the editor for the face ect is amazing but the limited selection of costumes is a let down.
Game itself gets rather repetitive after a few play throughs. Took me around 40 hours and 3 play throughs to get all the achievements and become a bit bored of it.
Overall great game for a fan of the series but gets very repetitive after a while.
