Extra Long Natural Firelighters – Eco Barn box of 200 wood wall lighters, our easy to light natural firelighters made from untreated wood wool. The firelighters are coated in a natural vegetable wax which allows each firelighter to burn for up to 10 minutes.
These are very easy to use and are the best firelighters for outside cooking using pizza ovens, fire pits and BBQ’s.

The extra length of these firelighter make them easier to use and light.
The average length is 8cm with an average thickness of 3cm.
* Sizes vary, it is expected that there will be a mix of larger and smaller firelighters. Boxes are packed by weight.
Each firelighter burns for up to 10 minutes
The average burn time for the Natural Firelighter is 8-10 minutes, this mean you only need one or two to get your fire lit. The firelighter will also work when wet, making them the perfect camping companion.

Quality of the lighters seems mixed in what is large box, that is they’re different sizes and are not all perfect.
That said they light easily and hopefully means I’m using less chemicals to get my fire pit going
Perfect firelighters for my home fire, my portable rocket stove, my fire pit and my barbecue.
No smelly hands or food, last a long time, dont give off loads of moisture like the kerosene blocks do which just condenses on the cold glass of the stove and causes smoke to adhere and dirty the glass.
These are just so much better than what I used for years and I will never be going back to kerosene blocks.
Husband chose/bought these when we got new wood burning stove and they’re very easy to use. Take light very quickly and only need to use a couple to get fire going. Be careful what you store them in as they are very slightly ‘greasy’, and they do ‘shed’ leaving lots of strands, though just add these to the fire and they will also take hold really quickly.

These last for a long time, we get more than a years worth of use from one box. I’m able to start our fire without any kindling thanks to these which is a bonus.
These wood wool firelighters are far superior to any other similar products I’ve used they are larger and so fewer are needed I use them for my BBQ and wood burning fire and they never fail.. Excellent Product will be buying again for sure
Easy to light and I think I remember it not having nasty type of wax or chemicals. Does not smell. We use this in our multifuel burner and it has not affected our pet birds. Wish it was less expensive.
Good value for money.
Each one is about 50% bigger than my previous brand ( see pic for comparison). They are longer, and thicker. The picture is of an average one some where considerably larger.

Absolutely stacks in the box and very effective they seem to be, provided you use kindling with them then there shouldn’t be any issues. Will get some more when they eventually run out.
Excellent value for money, I didnt count how many in the box but I only use 2 with a little kindling so will last a long time, I used to use the old type parafin lighters and wouldn’t go back to them, longer burn time with these

Bought these and they are a lot more effective than using an old news paper.
They burn for long enough to get the log fire going but you will still need to use kindling. For damp/ larger fires you will need to use multiple firefighters.
These firelighters work very well, providing a better initial burn to get your kindling going than other similar firelighters.
HOWEVER, I bought them for 10 less in March 2021, that’s a 2/3rds price hike in less than a year. Unacceptable, I’ll try another brand.
I ordered these with trepidation as I have bought other natural firelighters for years that I have been very happy with. I needed have worried. These are actually larger than what I used to buy, and seem to be made of exactly the same stuff and work just as well, if not better as larger. Very pleased, happy to recommend. If you haven’t tried natural firelighters yet, do; they are much better than normal firelighters, last longer and not smelly etc….
After reading the reviews, I took the plunge!! Glad I did because they are great!! I started using 3 to light the BBQ as I did previously with other solid fuel fire lighters but soon discovered I didn’t need tonow I just use one or two at the very most and they work perfectly!! They burn for a good few minutes as specified, they aren’t small or short like other brands and they’re made from sustainable materials so are also very eco friendly.what more is there to say really!?!

Husband is very happy with them, no need for newspaper under the kindling to get the log burner going. He uses two fire lighters one either end and kindling on the top, they burn well and don’t mucky up the glass like newspaper does, they also don’t blow out easily.
Dubious as to the 10min burn time but other than that fine.
Bought these as I wanted a more natural fire lighter that didn’t stink to high heaven!
Warmth……asked in the review to give a star-rating for warmth. If you’re using these to keep you warm, then you’ve got your fire lighting all wrong However, they’re very easy to light and stay alight long enough to get your kindling going. They shed quite a bit in the box but scoop that stuff up & toss it over your kindling and it’s a nice little addition.
As fire lighters, they do what they need to and are preferable to the old cubes.
I’ve used paraffin ones for years and they are good for lighting my multifuel stove, but these are just as good, better for the environment and cost effective.
I have bought other brands of these first, but I find these of a more consistent size and plenty of them, for a good price.
I’ve bought two boxes now, and might buy another to have a spare in my garage
Addition 25/05/21: I did buy another box for my garage, and I’m now halfway through that, so I’ve ordered ANOTHER box.
Seriously, if you are looking for eco firelighters, these are the Log’s Bollocks. They’re even 1 cheaper than the last time I bought them. Why buy any others?
