The locks are very easy to set up and seem to be built very well so far. I like the ability to unlock with both a smart device (iPhone/watch) but also with the included tags I put on my keychain. So far so good!!!
Wanted a lock that did not need lots of keys for family members or a complicated combination dial. This lock is great fir easy access and you can share phone access really easily
I have to say the customer service is really unbelievable. They are extremely responsive and they truly back their products. I know, because I had a bit of a problem several months after I bout it, and they were awesome!! I would strongly recommend this company and their products
I purchased several locks for farm gates and all have been working great! Easy to use and reliable! I had one issue with a single lock and submitted a request to the customer service team who sent me a replacement before I was able to remove the one that was not working. They were very responsive and addressed immediately. This was a unique situation with the one lock that inadvertently left open and inside was exposed to heavy rains. I love the concept of not having to have a key each time to open with a back up key fob that can also be used to unlock.
Needed a lock that supports multiple users, audits and is weatherproof. This fit the bill.
Setup was pretty easy. Instructions were (mostly) good and took only a few minutes. Like the rechargeable battery, but wonder about eventual replacement.
Minor gripe: adding users requires a name and email, but selecting a user for access is by email only. Selection by name would be more intuitive.
Overall a reasonable value.
Being a gadgety sort of fellow, I was anxious to try out this lock to secure the cable that I use to lock up my bike on trips “around town”. The lock appears to be well constructed of sturdy materials that would at least give pause to the common thief. Besides allowing use of a phone-based app to control the lock (and log its use) it also has a Samsung Watch app (hooray! I am Samsung user not an Apple fan-boy) and the ability to use an (included) NFC token. Once the app is set up and the lock registered, it’s a straightforward process to lock and unlock. You can customize lock behaviors like how long to wait before freezing the lock once it is unlocked. The lock log tracks time and location information (using your phone’s GPS) about lock and unlock events. It seems though that the NFC mode and the phone app mode cannot easily co-exist. Once you select NFC mode in the phone app, you can only use the NFC token and you then do not log activity data. You can re-enable the phone app at any time and you can always use the NFC token when the phone is connected to the lock instead of the app. If you want to use the NFC independently you lose the logging data. The Samsung watch app is more restrictive than the NFC. You can only use it when the phone is connected to the lock and the watch connected to the phone. So the watch app will not work in the absence of your phone acting as an intermediary. This makes the watch app basically an alternate user interface to your phone app rather than a stand-alone control option. I would say the lock is indeed rugged and probably weatherproof (given its thick rubber outer case) and it has some cool features. Some additional tweaks to the watch app and the NFC interface to make them work independently and without additional steps would make the product superlative
The products are received together with the app cards on time. They are well packed & the products are good designed. It seems that they will last for years. I feel safe when the lock is used to secure my home.
The product appearance looks solid. It works well and bring convenience especially when pairing with apps. Having a usb backup charging
port and battery indication on apps make me feel safe to avoid being locked out when it run out of battery.
So far so good. Fab little device that works perfectly as I need it to. I am a little worried as to what to do when the battery runs out and hope when the time comes I can sort it x
I brought 2 for my house gate. Now I can track when my kid is come back home. Easy use. The alternative open way through NFC fob is the great idea for my mum as she don’t know how to use the smart phone.
I ordered two of these locks last month as my neighborhood had seen an uptick in petty theft and I wanted to secure both my back and side gates in my yard. Locks were easy to set up and the app has worked flawlessly so far. It’s very easy to lock/unlock using the app and the locks feel very sturdy. It’s rained one time since the locks have been in use and so far so good. Very happy with my purchase at this point!
Setup was a bit challenging when trying to connect my lock to my phone and having to make another account on another company site wasn’t vary appealing, but after that initial angst I’m finding this lock pretty fantastic. No keys to lose and a futuristic looking lock. The watch functionality is spotty, but the phone functionality is pretty consistent. I’d recommend this lock.
It was easy to download the app and add the lock to the app (both android & iOS). But you need to have the location turned on for it to work with the app. I was using the lock for non-commercial (residential) use and would have liked it if the location feature was an option, but you have to turn it on on the phone for the app to work. The lock opened without a hitch via the app using blue tooth. The charge in the lock held for about 4 weeks (indoors) without a need to recharge for opening and closing about 4 times a day.
It was a little difficult to figure out, but in the end I think it is a great product. It feels very strong and even though my English is no perfect, the instructions were clear. I also bought extra FOB keys.

I have to put my hands up and say the GeeTouch 3rd generation SMART PADLOCK is the ONLY one which does as it says and is very easy to set up. It is very sturdy, heavy duty and is certainly WATERPROOF. . I am in the process of purchasing my 3rd one and would recommend to anyone who wants a OUTSIDE WATERPROOF pad lock, you don’t have any further.
The only downside is the cost, I think this could be looked at in a positive manner.
The lock itself works as advertised. What is deceptive is that if the lock will be used by more then ten people, it requires a ongoing subscription.
The only gripe is the rubber being on the bar and not the lock, it already tore on one of them passing through the hole on the latch. Nothing to pick and not online, seems pretty secure. Haven’t tested against a shim uet but it’s pretty tight, and heavy duty. I like that it’s off until you wake it to conserve battery.
When it comes to padlocks that have NFC ability, it’s obvious that eGeeTouch is the leader of the pack, or possibly a lone wolf. Regardless of the fact that there aren’t any competitors due to the patent regarding dual Bluetooth and NFC access technology, they’ve really got it down in my opinion. The only reason I am giving this 4 and not 5 stars is the fact that there really isn’t much support, not hardly any mention in their documentation for third party NFC fobs/tags/cards compatibility. With a bit of research I’ve found a way to do it that suits me, but it would be even better if they just outright explained the necessary steps of encoding a third-party NFC device to work with the lock (apart from smartphones/watches of course). Besides that one minor issue, it’s a great lock and I’m glad I got 2 of them.
Works really well with iPhone app, Apple Watch app, and key fob. I use it with a large chain to lock up my motorcycle and it hasn’t been stolen, so I’m happy.
I got this to use NFC ring,. it’s not supported directly but after another reviewer here posted a workaround, seems like the lock does what I expected. Feels sturdy as other keyed locks i’ve used.

Easy to use. Instructions and corresponding application for smart phone was simple to understand and setup.
The app on the smart phone works great to lock and unlock the device and a log is kept for time and date of lock or unlock and location. I noticed though that if you use the FOB a log is not kept of open and lock.
This lock has good connection is really easy to set-up. The lock seems really sturdy and will be good for the long haul.
This smart padlock looks and feels very well made. I’m using my iphone, Apple Watch and the smart NFC tag to operate the lock. They all work well. The Apple Watch app could be improved. The iPhone app must be active and linked to the lock before the Apple Watch can open or close the lock. It would be good if the Apple Watch can operate the lock independent of the iPhone app being active. However, I really like thus lock. Highly recommended!
This smartlock is impressive. It was easy to set up (once I understood what the “power on” button was). The fact that is is so durable and waterproof makes it a must have for my shared spaces. I highly recommend it! Great job EgeeTouch!
I purchased the lock to secure my backyard shed. I have cut sooooooo many locks off that shed, because I couldn’t find the key because “somebody” never puts it back when they’re done with it. This appears to be the last lock I’ll ever have to purchase my shed. The lock is sturdy and made of good quality materials. It took minutes to set-up and begin using. I tested locking and unlocking the lock via Bluetooth and NFC tag, and it performed beautifully. Thanks.
I have been watching for a Smart Padlock that was well priced, highly secure (many others are easy to open), able to operate outdoors, and was simple to use.
I went through so many others, but I finally found one that just plain works as it should! The eGeeTouch Smart Padlock does all that it says, and is pretty much hassle free. Bluetooth works well, NFC works well, you can use with multiple NFC tags. Battery life is epic, with many others having to be charged every month or two.
I rarely write reviews, but this one is well worth it, and recommend it highly for those who have been looking forward to a combo or key padlock replacement.
I purchased this lock to control access to a storage area. It was easy to set up and has worked flawlessly so far. I especially like the audit trail so I can keep track of who is coming and going. I will be buying additional locks.

This lock is AWESOME. You need to use your phone or the included fob to make it unlock, but it works great! If you are looking to unlock something with using her your phone, then this is the product for you. Note: you do have to open the phone app to unlock it.

If you have two locks in close proximity and try to unlock one and go to the second one it has trouble communicating with the second lock and you will need to refresh the app so I deducted 1 Star. Overall, so far, I am pleased with the locks. I got this lock for the weather proof and smart technology capabilities. Although I have the one complaint, given the lack in market for smart lock this is a decent lock for the price. I would recommend.
After a months use this product is everything as advertised. It is very sturdy and looks to be durable and weatherproof. It almost seems that the phone app works better and faster with use.
I like the no key, that it is rechargeable when locked, able to remote access people as needed.

I really love this lock and it’s so easy to use and set-up. I was also able to share access with my wife on her phone.
Seems to be a solid product so far. Takes a little playing with it at first specially when a couple of weeks go by and you forgot steps to take to open like pushing it in for 5 secords for fob. But if you follow the instructions it works. So far so good! Look solid and well build. This is a medium lock. No a bulky high security one.

I have had the lock installed in a pedestrian gate which is exposed to rain. So far there have been no issues.
I have had inconsistent results opening the lock with the keyfob, but the app works every time.
It would have been better if the lock could be operated using an apple watch app, without needing the phone to be nearby.
So far I’m very pleased with the performance of the lock.
I liked the quality of the padlock, and its easy configuration with IOS tags and cell phone. 100% recommended. It should be noted that I use it in a place where it will not get wet from the rains so I do not know how it works outdoors.

We’ve had many locks on this gate, but they never lasted out in the weather. Now that we REALLY needed one that would last because we had something important to protect, I said, “wouldn’t it be great if we could find a well-built lock that was weatherproof?” Not only is it well-built and weatherproof, it’s Bluetooth and we don’t need keys or a combination!! And it can be unlocked remotely, even if we’re not home! It’s fabulous!
This lock is easy to set up and use. No gimmicks.
The eGeeTouch 2 pack is a good deal. The lock charged and worked easily. The app works great! But the only thing I don’t like is that you can only be near the lock to unlock and lock it because it needs to pair to the lock. I suppose if the lock is always on then it might discharge quicker, but I don’t know I don’t see that option on the app. The key fob while it works you need to hold down the lock for 5 seconds before you can use it. The audit feature is good and you can invite other users via email and audit them. The only thing I would say this would need is fingerprint option, however in cold weather or rainy weather those locks don’t work well and I live in Oregon that rains quiet often.

Bought the 2 pack, and the locks work as desired. I can either give people access through the app or I can give them a hard token (NFC Fob). They feel very durable and are good quality.

This was a great little lock that I added to my work collection. Very sturdy with a heavy duty feel. The NFC key fob access is very convenient. I just wish the lock came with more fobs. I use it indoors so I’m not sure how it holds up harsh environments. Being able to share access with coworkers is critical. Being able to use my Apple Watch is a nice bonus feature!
I was looking to get a padlock for the gym and didn’t want to carry a key around. Setting up the padlock with my iPhone and Apple Watch was really straight forward. Materials used seem to be good quality and it feels sturdy which is good for a padlock. It doesn’t include a USB cable to charge it but it uses a standard micro-usb. The instructions are pretty clear if you take the time to read them carefully, it took me some time to get the included FOB to work until I re-read the instructions again and realized that you have to press the padlock for 5 seconds until it blinks green instead of just waking it up by pressing it for 1 second. I’m really happy with this purchase as it’s exactly I was looking for in a smart padlock.

Received this yesterday. Works great. I ordered 15 fobs so I can track users and history in my plant. Much easier than making and managing duplicate keys
Lock found unresponsive – plugged in the battery pack to power up and get unlocked. Placed it on charge. Removed from charge, but still unable to get it to work without an external power source plugged in. I have left a message with support on the company website. I’ll see what kind of support I get.
UPDATE2: Still NO response from my request for help. Just emailed a rep. in sales to see if they can help, or provide a solution. The lock will no longer work without being plugged into the charger.
Just got this lock yesterday. My first impressions were very good. It immediately gave the impression of a heavy duty enclosure. Quite heavy for its size. It came with almost a full charge. Took only about 15mins before the green LED appeared.
I also own a Master Lock BT lock, which I’m pretty happy with, but not the battery life. I also was unable to open it, due to a weak battery. The down side is you can’t open the battery compartment to change the battery without the lock being opened.
So I decided to try another lock. I use this on an office/shed out building in my backyard. Upon first trying it out, syncing & setting up, it appeared a bit klunky. Having to depress the bail to activate the BT mode or NFC mode seemed iffy at best. But once a was going through it a few times it seemed to be just a matter of getting used to it.
If tested with my iPhone & iWatch, both worked fine. Seemed a little lame using the iWatch, when the iPhone app needs to be active, and nearby to work. I’ll see how practical using it as time goes by.
So far I’m pretty happy with it. I may use the NFC fob as the normal means of opening, as getting out my iPhone and launching an app each time… not sure how long I’ll want to keep doing that.

This thing is built really well and intelligent to boot. A number of smart locks dont give you a lot of confidence from theft and I finally found one that is built really strong. Love the key fob and apple watch integration. Very pleased!
Purchased this lock for the front gate of our vacant property. With ongoing modifications & enhancements to the property, we needed to restrict access to the public and permit access to contractors. This lock is the perfect solution. I can manage and control who has access and when. The ONLY issue I had was getting the lock connected to the app. Once it was connected, it’s the perfect solution to our needs.
I haven’t had this long but hope it solves my problem of having to find my glasses and light to use our on our gated driveway.
Great product. It will be complex for some, but their help desk is expert, instantly available, and they stay with you till you catch on completely.

I received it in the mail, charged it, downloaded the app, registered the lock and started using it. I’m now going to purchase additional tags for my family to have access to this lock.

I like that I just need a phone to unlock instead of remembering a combination. It also has a feature where you can share access with someone for a set period of time which I may use for the yard guy. And has a smart fob for unlocking as well. Very sturdy and the app is easy to use once setup.
I recent;y purchased this and am using it on my driveway gate. My gate can only support a padlock, so this was a nice modern, and easy to use touch to opening the gate. It works well, and I am very satisfied with the device. I would recommend it, rather than having to use a key padlock.
Just received my 3rd Gen Smart Padlock and it was pretty easy to set up. Will be using this lock to give access to the storage unit for our employees. I have high hopes for this product and will update accordingly if anything goes array. So far so good. I like that you can use your phone or watch. Love being able to grant and take away access remotely.
eGeeTouch Outdoor Padlock 3rd Gen. I have only been using for a few weeks – the app was pretty straight forward and easy to set up as was the included fob. I still havent been able to permission another device – it wasnt very easy to do so I need to spend some more time on that. The directions could have been a little more clear/had more information – they were very basic so you almost have to read between the lines. I also read other reviews which were actually more helpful then the enclosed directions. It also took me a bit to figure out that you have to “wake” the lock up to be able to use the app or the fob – I wish that had been stressed more clearly in the directions. However, once I figured out those quirks I have been extremely happy and have actually referred several friends to the lock!
Works just as advertised. Very pleased with this product. Its a sturdy and strong lock.
The lock feels very solid and works great out of the package. I think the phone app is a little difficult to work with and needs a lot of attention. I would give this lock 5 stars if they would improve the phone app and allow you to take back access that you send to someone else from the app. Since they manage the app, I would think they could just delete the user anytime. I am likely to buy other locks from eGeeTouch.
My daughter is using this for her lockable drawer in her dorm. She likes that she can use her phone, watch, or fob to open. I am not sure if this one is touch capable?? But she doesn’t seem to mind. She was recommending to her roommates who have keyed locks.
Works great. I bought a few Bluetooth locks and this one is a great quality lock. I recommend it over other padlocks.
Just wish that when sharing the lock Access with someone that you can limit the time of day that they will have access. Maybe they will make the app more features in the future.
Easiest to use lock I own!
Could use an alarm- that would make it so I didn’t need a separate lock. The weather sealing would appear to be compromised if the rubbers on the lock arms are not covering where the the arms go in the lock body. I had to remove a rubber to make it work with a smaller diameter latch, so we’ll see how weather-proof this ends up being.
This lock pretty much does what it says it will do, no false advertising, but read the specs carefully. If you need to actually use this outdoors the seals must be in place. The bolt diameter may fit through your item to be locked, but if the much larger rubber seal doesn’t fit cleanly through then you have to pull the seal off the bolt, put the lock in place, reinstall the seal, and finally close the lock. Reverse all that to open.

it is a bit tricky to add own tags, but it worked. I can open the lock with my “flexNT” implant. A UID from a chip looks like that: 04 4c 43 42 c2 23 80 The log needs this UID numbers: 4c43 If you add an tag, you can type this 4 digits into the field. Know you can open the lock with your own tag.
We tried it with the xNT implant – the signal from the lock is to weak. It doesn’t work with “mifare desfire” or “mifare classic”
Hopefully this helps other people to add their own tags.
I love that this lock doesn’t require a key and all my children can use it easily using their smartphones!

Love this lock! The fob that comes with it had no ID number so I could not use it, but I had ordered extras separately and they work great.
Bought it and have tested it however, have not used it outdoors just yet. However, I can see it will work just fine. Love the feature of the NFC chip and being able to open it without the app. So far so good, love it.
Someone opened in my backyard gate and lost my dog out, and now I control who has access and know when they enter.
Couldn’t use I think because my phone doesn’t support NFC. IDK nothing says that you need it.
Easy to set up app and share lock with others to access.
I’ve had this padlock for about a week, and so far it works well. No issues to date and it’s easy to use. One of my main concerns was it would be interfered with by other wireless items around our home and that is deafly not the case. Good produc
This lock works just as it says it does! I love that I can unlock my gate for the pool guy when I’m not home and no longer have to leave it unlocked all day! I recommend this lock!
The lock works exactly as I hoped it would. I bought it for the gym so I wouldn’t have to carry a key with me but could unlock it with my watch. Like I said, functioned perfectly. Here’s what wouldn’t work for me: it’s big. It was too big to fit in the space provided in my gyms lockers so ultimately I couldn’t use it. Granted our lockers are very small so if you’ve got normal sized lockers don’t let this stop you. The lock is just slightly bigger than your standard padlock.
Great lock except the rubber gasket on the latch that will not fit through a tight lock hole
This lock is awesome, responsive, quick to set up and works great on the phone and watch. Love not having to carry keys and always have my phone or watch so quick to get through. Giving access by the app for pest control and seeing the lock and unlock history is great!
I would buy it again and I would recommend it.
