Delighted with this purchase. Although relatively light in weight the blade is surprisingly effective for its size. Certainly easy to use and the battery lasted over an hour as far as I could tell on my first uses

I have a 40 metre 2 metre high privet hedge and previous trimmers would need 4-6 charges to do while hedge. This only needed 2-3 charges!
This is an excellent machine perfect for cutting privet hedges. Bought the machine without the charger and battery then purchased a 4amp hour battery and charger separately this way it worked out much cheaper.
My husband was tired of dragging long cables around and over the hedge so bought this as it was reasonable price and had good reviews. Quite impressed with the machine as a hedge cutter, but it gets a bit heavy after the first 15 minutes cutting. My husband does the hedge cutting and he is in his 70’s so the weight is a bit of an issue for him. The battery lasted for about 45 minutes and cut half the hedge, it charged fairly quickly for the other half.
The weight probably wouldn’t be an issue for someone younger and stronger.
Bought this trimmer for a few hedges we have of some low maintenance growth. Charges fairly quick and has enough juice for your basic cuts. Perfect for light work we’ve done not tested if it were to be put to its paces.
I had tried a longer bladed one but found the balance wasn’t very good. This shorter one has a much better balance for me, being an older lady. More confident in using this up a small ladder.
This trimmer is a good standby when I have a small amount of hedge to trim and don’t want the hassle of getting the extension lead out. Nowhere near as powerful as my mains trimmer but then I didn’t expect it to be. Very handy for those parts of the garden which are a long way from a power socket. Very lightweight and easy to use.
I love this, honestly, how refreshing to buy something that actually exceeds your expectations! Very powerful, my hedging is very high, dense, and the branches are rather thick in places. This got through no problem, went non stop and still didn’t need charging at the end. Excellent item
Picked this up on Prime day and very happy with it. Manages all the work I need it to handle, not designed for particularly heavy duty work but I’d expect capable of dealing with most garden chores. Battery life also very good.
I purchased this because I have the Einhell drills and saws so didn’t need the battery. Works a treat for what I use it for. Not sure it would be much good if you had to trim a maze hedge
I bought this as I already had batteries and charger, so it was good value; its a perfect size, lightweight, cuts well, my small battery lasts a good time. It has a good cover for the blades. Very pleased.
The blade is of good length but doesn’t have that grunt required from a 2 stroke engine which you may need on more woody shrubbery so use it appropriately and know it’s limits and it will be fine.
Unfortunately it doesn’t make me a cup of coffee so only gets 4 stars as it’s not worth the 5 anyway.
Love it, seems more powerful than the mains units I have and so much easier to handle than the Titan 4-1 petrol hedge cutter unit. You can sculpt your hedge as it is so easy to use. There is no cable so that doesn’t get caught on the ladder, hedge or you! The battery just seems to keep on going without charging or refuelling every 30-40 minutes.
I’ve got the lawnmower, drill, vacuum cleaner and now this hedge trimmer and can’t find fault with any of them at all. I would recommend the einhell range completely. I will buy further einhell products for sure.
The handling of this item is excellent when the battery is in stalled, it is well balanced.
Much easier and lighter to use than my old wired hedge trimmer. Impressed with how long the battery lasted when trimming bushes and hedges. Managed to get over 1 hour on 2Ah battery before it died and only took 50mins to fully recharge. This was my first use, so don’t know if this will be maintained with further use.
Would cut through 1cm thick branches whereas my wired version managed 1.5cm, just something to bear in mind when purchasing.
Please note that I purchased the battery and charger with the hedge trimmer, which was much cheaper than purchasing them separately. To cut all my hedges in one go, will need to purchase a second back up battery.
Pretty light and very easy to use. Bought mine 2 years ago and after using it, hung it up in the garage. Went to use it this morning and…the battery still had plenty of charge in it and away it went. Brilliant, just what you want – no faffing about, it just works. Definitely recommended for the lighter stuff it’s designed for – overgrown hedges, small trees and bushes etc.
This is a really good trimmer which is easy to use for a rubbish gardener like myself!
bought this as I’ve got loads of einhell kit, needless to say not disappointed at all, if the branch will fit in the blades it will pretty much cut it. only thing i found it struggled with was climbing ivy, the branches on that seemed to bend rather than cut, but brambles and actual hedge bushes it rips through! i got the 4ah battery’s and was getting about 70-90 minutes approx out of a battery, very impressed with it.
I take this out every time I mow to cut back anything that needs it then I can collect with the mower really handy
Very light & easy to use the battery doesn’t last asking as I would like and loses power in a short period of time, cuts really well on lightweight work.
This is a great product. It goes through the hedge like butter, and after one hour the battery only used one bar of charge, so you could easily do a biggish job with it. I also purchased the lawnmower to match but found the battery run time on that sorely lacking, not so with the hedge trimmer.
Mainly for privet but works well on more substantial bushes as well.
It is a first class product from Einhell. Does a real good job very light. Battery power more than enough for quite large jobs in the garde
I bought this hedge trimmer after taking Gardeners World’s advice when it came out best trimmer in their 2021 tests. It is attractively priced, very sturdily built (German), doesn’t take long to recharge and efficiently cuts my hedge. So glad I purchased this excellent hedge trimmer.
Funktioniert gut. Etwas laut. Heckenschere ohne Akku gekauft denn die Akkus vom Einhell Rasenmher passen. Auch gut finde ich dass man den Griff drehen kann.
Solides Gert. Leicht, gutes Handling, knnte aber mehr Power haben. Trotzdem empfehlenswert!

Alle Akku Gerte sind eigentlich in Ordnung. Auch vom Preis her kann man nicht meckern.
Ist aber auch klar, fr die Akkus muss man ordentlich in die Tasche greifen.
Die Heckenschere hat auch mit Akku ein angenehmes Gewicht und trotzdem gengend Power. Das
Handling ist sehr komfortabel, so dass lngeres Arbeiten kein Problem ist. Der Akku-Verbrauch ( vor allem
im Vergleich zu EINHELL-Rasenmher!) sehr gering.

Ich habe diverse Power X-Change Werkzeuge, deshalb war es fr mich klar, dass es diese Heckenschere wird. Bin SEHR positiv berrascht. Ist mindestens genau so gut wie meine alte und teure Gardena/Husquarna.
Sehr leicht, sehr scharfe Messer, gute Ergonomie, viel Kraft, vergleichsweise leise im Betrieb. Robuste Scheide.
Warum deshalb nicht 5 Sterne? Weil der Kunststoff beim Akkueinschub und beim Einschalter nicht allzu robust wirkt. Das ist ein kleines Manko, das es auch bei anderen Power X-Change Produkte von Einhell gibt.
Aber dennoch: Eindeutige Kaufempfehlung von mir.
Im Groen und Ganzen bin ich mit dem Gert zufrieden. Sie knnte etwas krftiger sein. Mit den wilden Brombeerruten hat sie Schwierigkeiten. Aber sonst ist sie brauchbar.
The product itself seems really well built, sturdy and of good quality. Even the charger seems professional quality. With the battery even my Nan is able to hold it and she struggles with quite a bit of heavier items.
The blade length is good (longer would be better) but it’s hard to find a good compromise for price, quality and blade length. This is a good contender though!
Ohne Kabel ist das Heckenschneiden viel einfacher. Vor allen Dingen, wenn man dazu auf eine Leiter steigen muss. Fr meine ca. 25 m Ligusterhecke auch gerade richtig dimensioniert.
Have been using this for a few months now in the garden. It works wonderfully and no issues with it. I have a 4mAh battery and it lasts long enough to do my whole yard. I have a medium size yard with plenty of bushes. It cuts through everything easily.

schneidet ganz ordentlich unsere Hecke mit Zweigstrken bis ca. 1,5 cm.
Habe die heckenschere zwar erst 1x verwendet aber bin trotzdem sehr zufrieden..sie schneidet auch dickere ste perfekt..habe aber nur ca.5meter thujen..wei nicht wie es bei lngeren hecken ist..fr mich passt sie sehr gut..liegt toll in der hand mit den beiden griffen..wrde sie weiter empfehlen und auch wieder kaufen.lg.
Natrlich ist die Heckenschere nicht mit einer von Stihl vergleichbar, aber fr den Hobbygrtner mehr als empfehlenswert.
Endlich was Leichtes fr mich . Hab schon mehrere Heckenscheren ausprobiert, und waren immer zu schwer.
Fr einen Formschnitt an meinen Gehlzen bestens geeignet . Macht Spa, damit zu arbeiten.

Tagliasiepe ottimo per il mio piccolo giardino, maneggevole e facile da usare.
Molto difficile invece estrarre e rimettere la custodia in plastica della lama. Mi associo pertanto a tanti altri che hanno segnalato questo problema.
Non il massimo nel suo settore, non molto potente, ma per lavori hobbistici di breve durata pu essere sufficiente. Da sottolineare la possibilit di usare la batteria di altri prodotti Einhell.
Quando traffichi nel giardinetto di casa, specie con arnesi che tagliano, il cavo elettrico sempre da tenere d’occhio. Gli attrezzi a batteria non avranno la potenza e la durata virtualmente infinita di quelli a 230 V, ma se i lavori sono di entit contenuta la differenza non si nota e la praticit incomparabile.
Questo tagliasiepi leggero e piccolo quanto basta. La potenza non tale da affrontare con successo rami legnosi oltre il centimetro di diametro, la durata funzione della batteria e del suo stato di carica, ma poterlo muovere dove si voglia senza fare attenzione che “addenti” l’inesistente cavo elettrico una comodit unica. Non silenziosissimo, ma si pu usarlo senza cuffie protettive, mentre gli occhiali sempre bene averli (come in tutti i lavori). Ha doppio interruttore, per cui impossibile affettarsi un dito. Comunque. appena possibile togliere la batteria (non si sa mai). L’impugnatura posteriore ruota di 90, per maggiore confort in tagli verticali. Il deflettore da montare sulla lama aiuta a spostare in avanti i residui tagliati quando si opera in orizzontale. Va per smontato se si vuole reinstallare la custodia/fodero a fine lavoro.
Consgiliabile pulirlo e lubrificare con apposito prodotto la lama dopo l’uso.
Il fodero della lama un p duro da togliere e non viene fornito un supporto da parete, ma con due lastrine sagomate e due tasselli del 5 si rimedia.
Fate attenzione se l’offerta include o meno batteria e caricabatteria: la differenza di prezzo notevole.
Considerate che una volta acquistato un attrezzo a batteria, poi facile ne cerchiate altri (io ho preso anche il tagliaerba, la smerigliatrice angolare e mi sa che il soffiatore leggero sia in arrivo…)
Ideal fr Frauen, super leicht. Man muss sie aber mit beiden Hnden bedienen, also mal einen langen Arm machen ist nicht. Sonst super.
Verwendet fr Heckenschnitt. Leider wurde ein Haltegriff locker, so dass ein Austausch erforderlich wurde (hervorragender Service von Amazon!). Ich gehe aber von einem Einzelfall aus, da das Gert einwandfrei funktioniert und grundstzlich robust ist. Kein Vergleich zu meiner kabelgebundenen Heckenschere, die bei nicht so guter Schnittwirkung deutlich schwerer ist. Ich wrde das Gert wieder kaufen.
Excellent bit of kit for moderate domestic use but the overall rating is diminished by a disappointing battery, (bought with a different) machine. At the end of the cutting season the machine was put away and the battery (still half-charged) was kept indoors. Now it has discharged itself completely and cannot be recharged.

Qualche difficolt nell’assemblare il manico, ho dovuto forzare un p perch la plastica molto rigida ed ho quindi rischiato di rompere i contatti elettrici. Il coprilama quasi inutilizzabile, troppo stretto, entra veramente a fatica. Con una batteria da 3 A temo che far fatica a tagliare la mia siepe di cedrolauro. Peccato che non si possano montare due batterie da 3 A in serie come per il tosaerba che gi possiedo e che gli conferiscono una buona potenza ed una durata pi che sufficiente anche con erba alta e umida.

Diese Akku Heckenschere ist im Preis- Leistung ganz gut .Ich habe sie ausprobiert und bin sehr zufrieden. Ich war erst etwas skeptisch, wegen den Akkubetrieb, aber es hat mich berzeugt. Fr meine Zwecke u. der Hecken erfllt sie meine Anforderung. Ich konnte somit meine vorhandenen Akkus (v. Rasentrmmer u. Kettensge Akku variabel einsetzen. Alles funktioniert gut.Danke fr die schnelle u. pnktliche Lieferung.

Testato con batteria da 2.0Ah e da 4.0Ah: la prima consente una ottima manovrabilit (leggerezza), mentre la seconda una lunga autonomia senza stancare troppo le braccia.
Vivamente consigliata per lavori di giardinaggio frequenti, quindi per ricacci di siepi “teneri”; un po’ pi affaticata con rami secchi e con spessore superiore al centimetro.
Acquistata senza il KIT iniziale con batteria e caricabatteria ed assicurazione facoltativa per una maggiore tranquillit per possibili imprevisti durante l’utilizzo.

Ich habe die Heckenschere in 2019 gekauft, Grund war, dass ich von einhell bereits einen Trimmer habe, der mit dem selben Akku luft. Anfangs war ich sehr zufrieden, aber bereits im letzten Jahr, und ich habe nun wirklich keine riesengroe Hecke, hat sie zum ersten Mal gezickt. Sie wollte nur anspringen, wenn man beide Schalter einige Male drckt. Nun war der Herbstschnitt dran und was macht die Schere? NIX! Fr den Garantiefall bin ich auch ganze 4 Monate zu spt dran, ich bin sehr enttuscht, habe mir nun schnell im obi eine neue von einer anderen Marke kaufen mssen, weil das Vertrauen in diese Heckenschere dahin is

Preso soprattutto per il prezzo e per la comodit di utilizzare la stessa batteria con pi attrezzi. Avevo gi un prodotto simile ma alimentato a tensione di rete, la differenza abissale a favore del nuovo acquisto… Certo, la versione a 230V pi potente, taglia rami pi grossi, ma per la potatura “standard” questo pi che sufficiente. Provato con rosmarini, alloro, gelsomino e rami di alberi, in tutti i casi ha tagliato alla perfezione e nel caso degli alberi il peso ridotto ha fatto davvero la differenza. Davvero soddisfatto!
it is not as fast as a petrol powerd one but it one quarter of the weight it cuts well and does a good job
ho una siepe piccola di circa 6 mt di lunghezza per 1 mt di altezza, mi ero stufato di andare a chiedere in prestito il tagliasiepi dal vicino (gentilissimo). mi sono deciso di comprare questa con un p di scetticismo sulla durata della batteria. mi ha stupito, con una carica riesco a tagliare tranquillamente tutta la siepe, anzi rimane ancora quasi mezza carica. leggera e non stanca le braccia come quelle con il filo provate in precedenza. il taglio ottimo anche sui rami un p piu grossettini.
This is a perfect hedge trimmer for normal cutting of hedges of small to medium sized branches. Good cutting for ornamental shapes. Very good advantage is the light weight. Excellent cutting performance.
