This is in my opinion better than a stil battery mower the cut is really good and price wise lot cheaper than stil
Should have got one soone
No cable to bother about. Wish battery would last a bit longer.
With two batteries fully charged it cuts the grass easily at the 4.5 (mm?) setting but the power stops when trying to cut at 3.5 and not tried at the lowest settings. Its okay at 4.5 as this is probably short enough for a lawn.
Otherwise no other issues
Price was 200 when I bought this in May, excellent value and even at the current price still good value. Our grass is field grass and nothing like a carefully manicured lawn! Total area front and back is about 900 square feet. With fully charged batteries and cutting hight at position 3 it will do the whole area with some charge to spare – at least it did initially. After 3 or 4 weeks of use I noticed one battery losing charge quicker than the other and although the mower still managed the whole area on one charge there was now none to spare. I returned the battery to Einhell who tested it and sent it back saying it passed all their tests. That maybe so but in use it was definitely losing charge quicker than the other. Other than that an excellent mower – not keen on the way the handle folds though.
NOTE: To preserve battery power more frequent light cuts are best. Cutting long grass in one go will quickly exhaust the batteries, fully charged batteries have only about a tenth of the power of a typical mains mower.
Love not having a cable and easy to use. One charge does the whole lawn but it would need recharged between cuts.
Bit worried about battery life after reading some reviews but glad I took the plunge and purchased this lawnmower.
Build quality is great and it feels very well put together. Handle can be easily adjusted and the grass collector works great. Batteries charge quickly and twin chargers makes life much easier.
Single charge easily covers my garden and the lawnmower cuts really well. Very impressed and would definitely recommend.

I am very happy with my purchase. It arrived as promised and was easy to assemble. I have now used it several times and a very happy with the performance, my Wife has also used it says says it is very easy to use. Happy with my purchase
Unfortunately the two batteries proved to be defective and so would not charge up. These had to be replaced before I could use the machine. Once Einhell had replaced them the mower worked extremely well. The batteries managed my large back garden which was my chief requirement. In addition, it’s much lighter than my old petrol machine so a full mow takes less effort.
Arrived very quickly, very easy to assemble. I bought this mower to use whilst my usual mower was under repair and I could not let the grass remain uncut in the interim. It does not have the cutting width of my other mower, but it is so easy to use, and the grass box holds more than I thought. It is lightweight, but gives a good cut. The battery life is decent, a good 40 minutes, and, while I do have to recharge them, as I have large lawns, the charging does not take too long. It is also incredibly quiet Easy to start too. I am very impressed with this machine.
While you can hear the blade slowing when you hit a molehill, more so than with a petrol or mains powered one, it does the job absolutely fine. It cuts the grass well and appears to collect virtually all of it.
I was surprised to see how the grass filled inside the collector. It seems to blow towards the back and walls of the collector bin first, ensuring it fills almost completely. This sounds normal but others I have used start filling the bin from the front, meaning they get clogged long before they are physically full. The collector bin must have very good air-flow through the fabric.
2x 3ah batteries are enough to cut our new-build garden 4-5 times on a single charge.
Overall, very impressed.
Of course it weighs a bit – it cuts at 37cm and the batteries add to the weight – but it’s still definitely one-hand carry if you are worried about carrying up and down steps.
I’ve found it very good. Mows in autumn and spring and the grass is pretty well mulched – not perfect, but as good as I’ve seen from any mower I’ve used. Mows into its catch bag and the indicator is pretty accurate (basically a hole – if the air isn’t blowing out of the hole then the bag is full! But simple also means won’t go wrong). I’m really pleased with the height adjustment – this is not only easy to use, but also stays in place. My previous few wheeled mowers have slipped and made a mess of the lawn or required constant resetting to get a decent cut length.
Of course there’s something I’d like to see better: a roller at the back. Without a roller, when cutting over the edge of the lawn, the outer wheels dip into the flower bed and it cuts too short. Can’t be helped, but I’ve had to start strimming the edges of the lawns instead of mowing.
This is my first cordless mower. I can do all my lawns in about 20 minutes, as opposed to 30-40 minutes with the last (corded) mower. I do not believe that the cord made that much difference, so I think the quality of the mower also shows in the speed it covers the lawn and leaves it looking pristine. And no, it isn’t because I’m missing out the edges, I still have to go slow to get as close to the edge as possible without falling off.
Now to customer service. My mower had a fault, which I didn’t recognise until 3rd use. I’d had to tighten the handle up repeatedly because one side kept slipping position by a notch or two. Eventually the adjustment just pulled through – there must have been a fault in moulding which meant the adjustment wasn’t properly supported. Mowed on Sunday, complained on Monday, DPD collected on Tuesday (I didn’t have to label the box or take it anywhere) and returned it the following Tuesday fixed. My lawn barely had time to get out of hand before I was on to it again! Just as well because I’d fertilised the lawn the week before so it is growing at its fastest!
The second was a Bosch which lasted 6 years.
The third was a mac-allister which lasted 1 year and was honestly the worst purchase ever.
All mowers to date have been 240v and all had their own faults and issues.
My garden is quite long with 30% grass and 70% weed and I need to use a 50meter extension reel and continously manage the cable while cutting.
I researched the market and decided upon this battery powered mower to see how it performs compared to a 240v motor, I am a diyer and I know that cable powered tools outperform battery power in the long run. This machine costs more than its 240v counterparts but the package price was better than other battery mowers with 2 batts and 2 chargers and I was willing to give it a try to see how the battery tech has improved over the years and whether it can cut tough grass and weeds or will cough and give up like a sissy.
Anyway received the delivery and here is my report and review after owning it for a few weeks:
The Good: folds up and can store in the shed. Twin 18v power cuts all weeds no matter how thick the stem. The Box catches most of the grass and is easy to empty. The trigger bar looks strong and is sure to last. The weight of the folded machine is manageable even when going up steps. Was ready to plug and play out of the box. Is easy to brush clean after use even on the undersides. The cutting height setting is easy to use. No more cables to manage. The fold flat is great meaning no more leaving it outside exposed to the weather from October to April. It is quieter than all my previous 240v guzzlers meaning I can now cut earlier on Sunday mornings yay.
The Bad: on first use the batteries went flat after half the garden was cut even though they were fully charged. Had to wait 4 hours for them to charge up and so abandoned the plans to cut for another weekend. After going dead they are fairly warm and do not charge very fast despite what the manufacturer claims.
My dilemma is whether to buy 2 extra batteries or not and I may be inclined to if I want to get the garden done in one morning. The lowest cut setting of 2.5 is much lower than expected such that the blades kept hitting stones embedded in the soil which damaged the blade cutting edge and so had to use the next level up. I will need to keep a spare blade however. There is no indication as to when the box is full, you have to guess after a while and check.
The Ugly: nothing yet, will update this review in a months time after a few more uses of the machine.

Great lawnmower batteries last well I can cut the front and back garden on the single charge and the batteries fit all the other products to so no problem and Einhell is a very good maker so reliable to.
Having a few Einhell cordless tools and being very happy with them I am delighted with this mower. Made very light work of cutting fairly long damp grass. Cut my grass much quicker. Took reviewers advice and started with a long cut then set the cut lower to finish off. Battery life was very good coped with a big back garden and a fair sized front with just one re-charge needed. Perfect sized grass box not too heavy when full. Folds up very neatly and easy to carry by the handle. So it’s goodbye to my heavy petrol mower no more struggles to get it re-started every time it need emptying and hello to an easier life.
It is a fantastic piece of kit and made light work of mowing the grass. Even with long grass it just breezes through it smoothly. I am delighted with this mower and would go even to say much better than my petrol mowe
Its better than I thought it would be, cuts two medium size and three smaller lawns with plenty of battery life left. Charges in one hour or less, no complaints whatsoever up to now.
I have used this only a couple of times at present. So far I’ve been pleased with the cut and the battery life. Easy to set height and simple to use without a cord to trip over.
Not dissapointed, in fact really impressed with how easy this mower is to set and use out of the box. Not as light as I thought it would be , but it is the mid to upper range/sized unit, and i am used to slinging round the heavy old Flymo. The batteries supplied with this dual battery version last a few good cuts on the medium sized lawns (if you have other power exchange Einhell batteries they are easily swapped out to carry on mowing).
One of the nicer features on this unit is the way that it folds down for easy transport and compact storage.
Adjustable heights (6) ensure a good neat cut. The grass collection box is larger so stops to many trips to empty. Unit iteslf is good solid construction for an electric/plastic bodied mower.

Had an Einhell cordless hedgetrimmer already that I’ve been impressed with, so decided to get an Einhell cordless mower and grass strimmer as well. Batteries have lasted about 5 mows of small front and back garden on one charge (about 10mx5m). Cut is very good, and middle height setting is short enough for our lawn. Only issue so far is that the quick release catches on the handle seem to need re-adjusting every time it’s used because the threads spin so easily. Would be much improved with nylon insert nuts.
I wanted a battery mower to replace our mains powered one. This does the job and the batteries last well. My wife finds the handle height adjustment somewhat temperamental, but that is the only real criticism. The footprint is larger than our previous mower, so tight corners can be awkward.
Early days with this, hence only 4 stars. But, very convenient to use, speeds up the job. I’d say handle assembly mechanism not the best but works fine, mower quite heavy but easy to use and batteries have lasted well. Overall very pleased I made the switch.
Lightweight. Good battery life. East to assemble was practically already assembled. Love the gold down handles. Larger than my previous mower and found a little difficult for edging. But I have a edger to can tolerate. Fantastic to have no lead wrapping around everything. Cut grass much faster. Be careful not to have on lowest setting it tore my grass however my lawn is uneven to be fair on the machine. Overall pleased a great price. Would definitely recommend
Battery life OK, copes well with long grass, only problem is, having 4 wheels and no roller, the wheels can fall off the edge of the lawn when said edge is next to a flowerbed.
Pleasantly surprised, only used it once so can’t really comment on battery life but it comes ready assembled – you only have to adjust handles to the height you want. It’s easy to push and turn when mowing and is easy to adjust the height of cut.
It is a little heavier than expected – I don’t personally mind this however the missus was disappointed ( apparently) as she said it was too heavy for her to get in and out of shed (like it was ever going to happen anyway )
Also if the grass is a bit long it does not cut on the lower heights so you have to adjust the height of the mower – not a massive issue if you have a smallish garden.
This works for me because I purchased as a supplement to a larger sit on mower for doing the ‘edges’. The short battery life limits it’s value as a stand alone except for a small garden. Cuts neatky though
Other than handle lock mechanism being flimsy – loved it. Battery life is exceeding my needs, bag is easy to use and stores very nicely. Also sound wise it’s also comparable to other battery powered mowers as it’s not too loud.
I received this yesterday just after 1:00 pm opened the box and got the batteries on charge. Lifted machine out and there’s nothing to assemble just get the push handle in place and tighten up. The only item that needs to be attached is the handle for the grass collector and that just clips in. Read through the book for safety instructions then checked batteries. Both had gone from red to green in 50 minutes fitted in to machine and put in key (key was in a plastic bag inside battery compartment) Machine was set on lowest cut so moved it back three spaces which for me is ideal Very good cut and very easy to push even with grass collector full. Cut three smallish sections and still had plenty of power left in batteries.
There is still 15 metres to cut but the petrol machine can get that down first. Very good machine and very
easy to handle and folds up easilly just keep key in a safe place.

Das einzige Manko ist das sich schon im ersten Jahr die Schaumgummiummantelung des Handgriffes auflste. Das mte wesentlich verbessert werden. Darum nur 4 *
Senza fili, durata batteria quasi completa per un giardino di circa 300 mq.
Super ohne Kabel den Rasen mhen. 2mal gemht und Batterien immer noch halb voll.
Uso altri attrezzi della stessa marca e non hanno mai deluso. Anche la falciatrice ha confermato le aspettative. Leggera, facile da montare e da usare. Il taglio molto preciso alle diverse altezze provate. Con una carica delle due batterie ho fatto due giardino per una superficie complessiva di circa 400 mq. la carica residua circa a met. Probabilmente con il tempo caler, ma per il momento molto soddisfacente.

Sehr gut aussehender und bedienbarer Rasenmher, technisch einwandfrei. In allen Belangen zu frieden mit dem Rasenmher. Ohne Kabel ist einfach toll zu mhen. Jederzeit wieder. Volle Empfehlung. Auch von lteren Menschen sehr gut zu bedienen.

I am an einhell fan, this is my 7th item. I have been toying with going cordless for some time and finally made a purchase in August. I am delighted with the lawnmower. The batteries more than do my front and back lawns. Powerful, easy to use. Great product.
Excellent mower for mid size gardens with lots of curves, no cord makes it ideal
We have a tough (coarse grasses) lawn on heavy clay. This is my second attempt at finding a mower to cut around beds and trees and awkward places – the first mower couldn’t handle the grass even at its highest setting and scalped the grass all over, the Einhell is very good, no scalping and has two folding points on the mowing handle and also has a robust carry handle, so this means that if I remove the grasscatcher I can lift the compact folded mower onto the top of my big mower (to save floor space), a tiny bit heavier than I would choose,but…… The plastic key is a bit fiddly but I expect that I will get used to it, also I have been told that removing the batteries after use is a good idea (also makes it a bit lighter to lift and store!). I am happy with the purchase.
This mower is compact and lightweight, and it does a great job. It’s much quieter than I expected, and the batteries charge up fast. When you’re finished, it folds down beautifully.
Amazon asks, “What do you use it for?” The answer is, er, I use it for mowing the lawn…
Erstes Update knapp 1000qm Rasen. Schaffen die beiden Akkus nur wenn regelmig gemht werden.. aber mit der Leistung an dich bin ich Zzt sehr zufrieden. Update folgt, nach 12 Monaten..
Ich rgere mich darber, dass ich noch nicht eher auf die Idee gekommen bin, mir den Akkumher von Einhellig zu kaufen. Top!!!

Die Lieferung des Rasenmhers erfolgte superschnell. Leider ist ein Teil des Auffangkorbes beschdigt. Da meine 80jhrige Mutter den Rasenmher nutzen will, bitte ich um Ersatz des Auffangkorbes. Danke fr Ihr Verstndnis.
Utilizzato la prima volta sul mio prato di circa 150 mq. Ottima potenza di taglio, ottima maneggevolezza, perfetto il sistema di accensione e sicurezza sul manico. Alla fine del taglio le batterie (sono due) segnavano ancora 2/3 di carica.

Bislang wurde ein Bezinmher eingesetzt – der Unterschied zur Geruschentwicklung ist unglaublich. Surrend nimmt der Mher seine Arbeit auf. Saueres Schnittbild (auch bei feuchtem Gras) und der Auffangkorb funktioniert. Nach ca. 80 cm sind die beiden Akkus noch 2/3 voll.
Das reinigen nach dem mhen war durch die relativ glatten Oberflchen schnell erledigt – kurz mit dem Gartenschlauch aussplen und sauber. Bgelverschlsse umklappen, Bgel einklappen und den Mher wegstellen.
Ein weiteres Kaufargument ist und war, dass ich die Akkus einfach zwischen verschiedenen Gerten einsetzen kann und nicht 20 Akkus und Ladegrte zu Hause haben mchte.
Alles ok. Bin sehr zufrieden. Wrde den Rasenmher wieder kaufen.
Der Rasenmher macht optisch einen sehr guten Eindruck. Laden und einsetzen der 2 Akkus problemlos.
Problemi consegna: ordinato 1 maggio, ricevuto 20 maggio. Attivato per sollecito chat per 3 volte: sono stati tutti interlocutori diversi in chat ma sempre molto gentili e disponibili a comprendere la mia contrariet per una consegna cos lunga (io sono un cliente PRIME da anni). Gli interlocutori meritano una lode mentre chi pubblica sul sito molto meno: al momento dell’ordine non risultava evidente alcuna indicazione sul sito che la consegna avrebbe necessitato tempi cos lunghi.
Arrivo della confezione: apro… mancano le batterie che dovevano essere incluse nella confezione. Contrariatissimo! Attivo immediatamente Amazon in chat con cui concordo una soluzione immediata e quindi tutto bene. Sono andato a comprarmi io le batterie mancanti direttamente in negozio dato che avevo bisogno del tagliaerba, subito. Dal negoziante scopro che moltissime confezioni delle batterie del fornitore originario sono danneggiate e in molte di queste confezioni i prodotti inclusi sono diversi da quelli descritti sulla confezione esterna: forse il problema non stato Amazon ma proprio il produttore!
Prodotto: ho usato il prodotto e devo ammettere che ottimo. Si rileva molto bene la cura nella sua montatura in fabbrica e il tagliaerba bilanciatissimo (devo portarlo dal piano taverna al piano living, dove ho il giardino, tutte le volte e quindi questo bilanciamento era importante per me) e, non da meno, il ripiegamento della barra di spinta veramente fantastico.
Non per niente rumoroso, il taglio preciso e il cestino di raccolta dell’erba tagliata facile da rimuovere e da riinserire.
Quindi, lo consiglio ma attenzione ad armarvi di pazienza e di stare in allerta per mancanze dei magazzinieri nel completare l’imballaggio corretto.

das ist mein erster Akkurasenmher und auch nicht mein letzter.
Hatte davor einen schweren Benzinrasenmher mit Antrieb. Als dieser dann nicht mehr wollte der Umstieg.
War zuerst skeptisch da der Akkumher keinen Antrieb hatte, aber ich muss sagen durch sein geringes Gewicht ist ein Antrieb auch nicht ntig. Fr die 200 m bei mir absolut ausreichend.
Klasse Produkt, daher 5 Sterne.
Nachdem der alte kabelbetriebene Mher seinen Geist aufgegeben hatte, stand der Entschluss fest, dass der nchste mit Akku sein soll. Das Gewusel mit dem Kabel war immer nervig, insgebsondere weil unser Garten viele Ecken und Winkel hat und man immer aufpassen musste, dass man nicht bers Kabel fhrt. Da ich bereits auch andere Gerte von Einhell habe, ist mir die Marke fr gute Qualitt bekannt. Besonders begeistert bin ich von der Power X-Change Serie, zu der dieser Akku-Rasenmher auch gehrt. Einhell ist mit dieser Idee ein ganz groer Wurf gelungen, den man nicht oft genug loben kann!!!!! Hier wurde ein Akkumodell entwickelt, das in ALLE Gerte der Serie passt und in unterschiedlichen Strken erhltlich ist. So kann man sich die entsprechende Strke aussuchen und separat bestellen. Das beste daran ist aber das “One fits all Prinzip”, da die Akkus eben in wirklich ALLE Gerte der Serie passen und untereinander getauscht werden knnen, sodass man sein Gert auch ohne Akku und Ladegert bestellen kann, wenn man bereits eins besitzt. Das schont den Geldbeutel und vor allem auch die Umwelt.
Zurck zum Mher, er hat einen 36 Volt Elektromotor, der mit zwei 18 Volt Akkus versorgt wird. Die zwei 3 Ah-Lithium-Ionen-Akkus werden mit einem Twincharger geladen, in dem man praktischerweise gleich beide Akkus parallel laden kann. Die Laufleistung der Akkus ist auf ca. 300 qm ausgelegt, bei hohem Gras ist die Leistung entsprechend weniger. Die Schnittbreite liegt bei 33,5 cm, die Schnitthhe kann von 25 Millimeter bis 65 Millimeter eingestellt werden. Der Fangkorbs fngt 30 Liter und ist mit einer Fllstandsanzeige ausgestattet, sodass man auch ohne ihn zu ffnen einen guten berblick hat. Fr unseren kleinen verwinkelten Garten mit ca. 90 qm ist das Gert absolut perfekt. Er ist wunderbar leicht und unglaublich wendig. Auch Gre und Leistung sind fr unseren Garten optimal und absolut ausreichend und das Mhen mit Akku so viel entspannter als mit dem lstigen Kabel. Gert und Marke kann ich bedenkenlos empfehlen und die ersten Freunde berlegen auch bereits sich so einen zuzulegen.
Der Rasenmher kommt in einem vormontierten Zustand. Man muss lediglich die Akkus und den “Zndschlssel” reinstecken und es kann los gehen. Die Akkus waren auch vorgeladen, die habe ich aber vor dem ersten Gebrauch nochmal voll geladen. Die Ladung hat fr die Rasenflche 180qm ausgereicht. Der Rasenmher ist erstaunlich leicht und dank den groen Rdern sehr wendig. Der groe Vorteil liegt auf der Hand – man braucht kein Stromkabel. Im zugeklapptem Zustand hat er eine geringe Hhe und kann leicht verstaut werden. Er ist auch deutlich leiser als mein alter Elektrorasenmher. Messer ist schn scharf fr den Rasen. Allerdings sehe ich einiges an Verbesserungspotential bei diesem Gert.

– – – Kontakte am Griff muss man ganz ganz fest mit 2 Hnden halten. Drckt man nicht fest genug, greift die Sicherung und der Motor geht aus. Das finde ich etwas nervig. Whrend des ersten Mhens ist mir das mehrmals passiert. In der Anleitung steht, dass auch Kinder ab 8 mit dem Gert umgehen knnen sollen. Sie werden aber nicht dauerhaft die Kraft frs Festdrcken aufbringen knnen.
Alles in einem wrde ich die Aufflligkeiten in Kauf nehmen knnen dafr, dass ich auf das nervige Kabel verzichten kann. Die Sache mit dem Bgel am Griff, den Man fest drcken muss, damit der Motor nicht ausgeht, ist mein grter Kritikpunkt. Auch mit den festen Schnitthhen kann ich im Prinzip gut leben. Das Positive berragt und das Gert macht im Endeffekt einen guten Eindruck.
P.S. wie das Gert beim hohen Rasen sich durchschlgt berichte ich, wenn es soweit ist (z.B. nach einem langen Urlaub :-)).
/// Update – 2019-05-03: beim Mhen von hohem Rasen wird der Akku schnell verbraucht. Eine volle Ladung reicht leider nicht fr 180qm. Ich musste die Akkus ein paar Stunden nachladen und konnte erst dann die Arbeit abschlieen.
Der Rasenmher kommt in einer benutzerfreundlichen Verpackung und es ist alles sauber verpackt.
Das Design ist ansprechend und das auffllige Rot macht sich ganz gut. Der Rasenmher war schnell zusammengebaut und auf die gewnschte Gre eingestellt. Einzig die Klemm-Griffe zum Feststellen der Schrauben sind etwas unhandlich, da wren sogenannte T- oder Stern-Griffe besser gewesen. Das Einsetzen der Akkus geht schnell und einfach, wichtig ist hierbei den “Auto-Schlssel” nicht vergessen zu stecken, da er sonst nicht startet. Nach dem Mhen den “Schlssel” wieder ziehen und die Verbindung Motor -> Akkus wird unterbrochen. Hier hilft auch die Gebrauchsanweisung, da diese gut bebildert und ausfhrlich gestaltet ist.
Der Rasenmher ist fr seine Gre sehr wendig und leicht zu bedienen. Die Einstellung der Schnitthhe ist durch einen Sternhebel leicht zu bedienen und der Mher schnell auf die gewnschte Schnitthhe gebracht.
Ist der Auffangkorb voll, ist dies durch eine Anzeige am Korb gut ersichtlich. Der Auffangkorb ist durch einfache Griffe vom Mher zu lsen und wieder zu befestigen.
Der Mher selbst hat eine ertrgliche, nicht bertriebene Lautstrke.
Der Mher ist auch recht pflegeleicht. Der Korb ist von auen leicht zugnglich, die Schnittmesser und der Bereich der Schnittmesser knnen gut gesubert werden.
Der Einhell Akku-Rasenmher wird ber Akkus betrieben, ohne Kabel Rasenmhen ist eine prima Sache.
Der Rasenmher kann sehr gut verstaut werden und ist mit wenigen Handgriffen kompakt “zusammengefaltet”.
Er verfgt ber eine 6-stufige Schnitthhenverstellung welche zentral ber einen Griff eingestellt werden kann. Auch der Griff kann in der Hhe verstellt werden.
37cm Schnittbreite sorgen fr ein zgiges Mhen auch grerer Rasenflchen.
Mit dem Power X-Change System-Schnellladegert lassen sich die Akkus schnell aufladen. ber 3 LED’s kann man die restliche Akku-Kapazitt kontrollieren.
Der Grasfangkorb verfgt ebenfalls ber eine Fllstandsanzeige und fast 45 Liter.
Er ist leise und luft sehr leichtgngig.
Fazit: Ein toller, kompakter und weitlufig einstellbarer Akku-Mher, der sein Geld allemal wert ist. Mein Neffe hat sich riesig gefreut,, diesen Akku-Rasenmher nutzen zu drfen und war begeistert, da er auch immer gerne ber das Kabel fuhr. Das hat sich nun erledigt und mit den beiden Akkus kann er die ganze Rasenflche bequem mhen. 5 Sterne und eine Kaufempfehlung hat sich dieser Mher allemal verdient.
