Seems to work well so far, only been in a week but it’s cooked everything I’ve thrown at it well so far.
Brought this for my mum and it suits her needs perfectly easily installed and at sight forward to use.
So far so good, only been in use for a couple of weeks. Good value, easy to install, both zones easily controlled, seems to clean OK. I guess time will tell, but currently pleased with purchase.
Very easy to fit, just dropped it into the square cut from the work top, plugged in in and ran a thin bit of sealant around the edges
This hob is vey easy to use ,particualy as it has control knobs
instead of touch screen controls.
It also heats up very quickly
This 2 ring hot plate came as a bit of a surprise to us as when we originally ordered it was advertised as an induction hob which it is not. To be honest this didn’t bother us and actually was better as we didn’t need to go buy any new pans in order to test it out. Fitting is fairly easy but it does need a bit of planning. The Hobbs heat up fairly quickly and is simplest to use. I’m not a fan of the bulky knobs which you operate the hob with which is why I’ve knocked a star off for.
We originally thought this was a work top/tabletop stove but it’s not, it requires to be fitted properly into a worktop cutout.
It’s only two hobs – so would suit a small kitchen.
It’s described as an induction hob but its not as it can be used with all pan types.
This ceramic hob comes very well-packaged. The hob also very well-made with a shiny ceramic surface which seems high density with high resistance from scratches.
In the product details of the listing there is word ‘induction hob’ but this is not, this is a hot plate ceramic hob that gets hot. Which means you don’t need special pots for it but anything flat that can conduct heat will do the job.
This is also a built-in design so it cannot be used sitting on counter top or moved around, proper installation with ventilation on the sides and the bottom will be required. There is a template cardboard included in the box for you to mark up the area of the counter top to be cut.
The hob heats up really quickly but cools down really slowly. There is a heat indicator to tell you if the hob is still hot, if you have cats like me running in the kitchen it could be a hazard to them.
The cable length is just over 1m, so you will need to plan where this is going, may even need an extension lead for it if you are having this as an add-on hob.
Overall, it is a good price for a two-ring hob and does the job good, just need to becareful on the hot surface.
This Is a Really Excellent, Very Good Looking, Highly Versatile & Powerfully Efficient Multizone Induction Cooker.. Easy to Install & Also To Use, With the Very Carefully Thought Out Minimal & Uncluttered Touch Sensitive Control Button Layout Area.
The unit is made from solid glass, mind it is a bit heavy so handle with care. Now, installation, I know how to do it, it is quite simple to connect the cables properly. I have realised after I removed it from the box that there is an option with a socket directly included which I think would have been a better option for me.
What I like about it is that it has 2 cooking surfaces, that means you can boil 2 things at the same time and both can be controled using only one controller or menu.
Everything is touch so to turn it on you have to press on the power button a bit longer and you will hear a beep and you can see the light on(red light). What I have noticed, even if you hand is a bit wet the touch buttons still work which is great.
There are 2 buttons on the top which indicate which hob is on, you can operate these seperataly ot together which is what I use the most for the barbeque, I more boil the meat than I fry it so its like a steak.
Very important to know, even if you make a mistake and you leave it on after 2 min will automatically switch off which is great because i want to avoid any problems. There is quite enough place for a large tray, mine is rectangular.
Cleaning is easy, I use a kitchen towel a bit wet only when the induction is cooled down. Overall, this is really an energy efficient hob that looks stylish and cooks amazingly, excellent plus for me is there are no extra costs as you can use your old pots and pans with no issue.
I am really impressed with this double hob, it looks very high end. The profile is nice and slim. This has a really useful auto shut off safety feature, and it shows you when the surface is still hot after it is turned off. The surface is very easy to keep clean.
It’s simple enough to install – with a cutout kitchen counter, the hob can be just plugged in and used. The hob is robust and a bit weighty, and the dials are sturdy.
The surface looks sleek, but it can be quite easily scratched (especially by cast iron cookware), so make sure all pots and pans have smooth bottoms to prolong the life of the hob. It has a lower wattage than my previous 3500w hob, but it’s still very powerful and does the job.
The two hot plates are a good size to fit all kinds of cookware, and there’s a good distance between them so I can comfortably use both plates simultaneously without an issue.
It’s easy to clean and the auto switch-off is really convenient in case I forget to switch it off – it shuts off after the specific timer is done. The heat indicator is also handy to have as a warning that the plates are too hot so I don’t accidentally touch them (the ceramic top here interestingly loses heat quicker once turned off compared to my induction hob).
Great value for money – would be happy to recommend.

I got this hob to replace a big name brand one that had cracked right across.
Was very pleased with the finish and the functionality; the controls are easy to understand and use, it heats up quickly and responds instantly to adjustment while cooking.
It’s a little less powerful than the hob it replaced but that suits, as it’s less liable to burn things and probably a little bit more energy efficient.
Looks and performs like a more expensive item.
This hob is good quality and works well. The rings heat up quickly and the heat is consistent. The hob is a good size for a small kitchen. Do be aware that the hob needs to be set into the countertop. Small hobs are often popular with renters and this hob would not be suitable for them as you can’t simply rest it on the countertop.
For the money, a good quality electric hob for installation.
On unpacking, the materials appear solid, especially for the modest price, and build quality good. Styling is also slick, so first static impressions are impressive. Installation is relatively straightforward if you have an appropriately sized cut-out, and the general impression of decent quality and reasonably sleek appearance carry over into practice. In use, it’s quite practical, heating up rapidly, and allowing fairly precise control over temperature while cooking. The quick-boil feature also appears to work reasonably, although I would prefer not to think about the electric bill (I hope it is no worse than boiling an electric kettle!) Adjustability is simple via the control knobs (as it should be), and the auto-shutdown will hopefully prevent accidents in that quarter. I haven’t actually ‘used’ that facility myself, although I note that some have found it to be a little protracted. Since this is a near-flush electric hob though, some care is needed when using it, as a slip can potentially have rather painful consequences -an issue all such hobs have, so with luck this particular feature will never be used in most cases. Still, accidents happen so it’s a useful one to have. Cooling time is modest – good, and cleaning straightforward given the quality materials and smooth surfaces. Overall, a quality electric hob at a decent price.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when ordering this twin hob as I’ve not had a brilliant experience with electric cookers over the years so was plesently surprised from reading the specs on the product page to see this cookers potential. It came well packed in a retail plain box and was fitted with a standard UK 3 pin mains plug with a glass fuse and this uses beafy cable like you’d find on a regular kettle which is more than man enough to handle the 2900W of power this cooker can pull on its max setting. I’ve tried cooking a bit of chicken and was shocked how quickly it cooks at setting 7 out of 9. If you are in a real rush you can use settings 8 and 9 but 7 and lower are more than sufficient for most situations. If turning this hob on from cold you can feel the heat very quickly so it is made from top quality components. Both hobs have fully independent controls which is nice and of course you can use this in the garden on a sunny day if you so wish or have it perminently fitted in the kitchen so whats not to like? this gets my highest reccomendation.
I’m big fan of ceramic hob because it’s easy to use and even easier to clean.
Hob arrived nicely packed in the box, secured by styrofoam shapes for safe transport. There is instruction manual with it and sheet of paper with measure for the worktop which need to be cut to that size. The hob I got is 30cm wide with 2 heating spaces for two pots to cook at the same time. Hob needs to be fitted in worktop or suitable frame if used elsewhere (campervan). Sides of this hob have ventilation gaps to dispense the heat concentrated underneath the hob when it’s in use.
Its main powered and 3 pin plug with cord is connected permanently to it.
Two knobs with 9 settings and on/off turn nicely. It’s really straightforward use of this hob. Last two years I’m in use of bigger hob and I wouldnt change it to the one operated by gas.
I can recommend this product.
The product is as described. Quite suitable if you have a small kitchen and your are ok with 2 hobs.
It comes with 2 zones 1200W and 1700W respectively. The input voltage is normal AC 220-240V
Both the zones can be used at the same time. You can use all kinds of cooking pans like ceramic, steel, copper etc.
Total 9 heat level settings
Keep a note of dimensions. L x D x H: 290 mm x 520 mm x 50 mm; Cut size L x D : 490 mm x 270 mm.
This Ceramic Hob comes really nicely packed in the box. It is a perfect adition to any kitchen, especially if you have a small one.
One thing to bare in mind tho is that this hob needs to be fited on a counter top as it has, what i assume are ventilation holes on the bottom, so it would need to be fitted so it can have the bottom free to ventilate. When fitting it comes included in the box a cardboard which is the exact size you need to make on the counter top in order to fit the hob. So really good adition in my opinion.
As for the hob it self it work very well it’s a small, 2 zone hob, each with their own individual knob. On the middle you will find a ON/OFF touchscreeen switch. When you turn the hob on a red light comes on to indicate the hob is ON, also when you turn any of the 2 zones on a small red dot comes on as well to indicate which one of the 2 is working.
It heats very super quick and very well. A pot of water can start boiling in a matter of minutes so be carefull to not burn your food.
Good for a compact kitchen space as it’s not too big.
Needs to be fitted in to a counter top before use, so not like a induction hob that can just sit on top without needing to be fitted.
Good and easy to use controls, the on/off is a touch screen style button where as the control for each job is a knob.
Separating the two controls makes for a good security feature.
A handy little device to utilise a smaller kitchen area, it’s a reliable hob that works perfect fine.
I must admit I had originally thought this was an induction hob, so was somewhat surprised, if a little disappointed, to see that it is only the larger of the two hobs on this product page that is induction. That being said this 2-zone hob is a handy addition in my friend’s caravan where kitchen space is a bit tight.
It’s a good solid construction but is not stand-alone, needing to be fittied into a work top, or built into a solid frame, which is what my husband has done for him.
The controls are firm and being raised knobs are easy to grasp and move, first, though, you need to gently press the on/off switch on the glass top. This will beep and light up red. The zones are very quick to glow red, and a warning light also shows on the glass near the relevant control. They also heat up quite quickly — a small pan of water boiled within a few minutes.
Although there is an automatic shutdown I’m not impressed with the amount of time it takes: 2 — 9 hours depending on the heat setting.
It comes well packaged with template and instruction manual.
