Shower bar fitted straight into location of my previous shower bar. The item is working really well and as well as my previous shower bar that was twice the price. I think this is an excellent product,well made and definitely worth the very money.would recommend it .

Bought this to replace an existing unit that looked identical. Replacement was straightforward and it works great, much better to use and more stable temp than the one it replaced. Very happy.

The only thing I don’t like about it and I didn’t knew when I bought it is that it works only from 20 degrees. So if you want a bucket of cold water…you can’t have it because turns the boiler on and heats up the water. Otherwise works really nice and pressure is really good.

My old shower mixer had seized meaning we couldn’t adjust the temperature at all. This one was a good price with the same pipe measurements as the old one so just unscrewed the old unit and replaced with the new one. 15 minutes. Works perfectly and no plumber fees.

Great product, looks great, great value for money and was really easy to install. Took literally 5 mins to replace an existing one that wasn’t working.
Our old shower bar was really hard to turn on. When soapy you couldn’t get a grip on it and it was stiff to turn. This replacement was swapped in, in just 5 minutes and it works so much better! Easy to grip and turn, and half the price of others. What’s not to like?

Purchased to replace a 12 year old Aqualisa shower. I fitted it myself in 20 minutes at a fraction of the cost of the original shower. Will it last 12 years? Time will tell.

Although I had some initial problems with the product, I have to give five stars because of the excellent customer service I received from House_of_Enki and the current state of showering satisfaction in the household.
Installation:
Once the water pipes were in place the installation of the mixer bar took about ten minutes. It was pretty much just making sure the wall fixings were in the right place (I did this by using the mixer outlets to create a paper template of exactly where the mixer needed the wall fixings to be). Once the water was back on it worked immediately, and I had no shortage of volunteers wanting to take if for a test run.
Problems and solutions:
1) Minor problem: the knob on the right – the temp control – was not attached and kept coming off in the hand while showering. It took a bit of detective work to discover that the silver bobble on the end could be popped off via a small indent and that there was a screw rattling about inside that could be used to affix the knob to the end of the cartridge mechanism. This also meant that the position of the knob had to be carefully calibrated to ensure the temperature markings were aligned with the actual temperature.
2) Major problem: the shower had a constant drip when the left hand knob – on/off – was tuned off. I contacted House-of-Enki and they replied within a few hours and gave me instructions on how to remove the valve and clean it. I did this but the drip persisted. I sent a photo to HOE and they responded by sending me a replacement valve. When it arrived this took about 5 minutes to install – and so far so good — the drip seems to be fixed.
Overall product observations:
Once the niggles were sorted out the product is excellent:
* Intuitive to install – (also to maintain – I have had the whole thing apart under the guidance of HOE and both ends can be refurbished. There’s a cartridge on one end and a valve on the other that can easily be removed and replaced).
* The heat mixing and temperature regulation are excellent. The temperature stays constant and responds fast to adjustments while you shower.
* It looks great on the wall – clean modern lines.
* It accepts standard shower hose attachments.
* It replaced an electric shower and the pressure increase was a huge unexpected bonus. I do not have to turn it on to full power to get a great shower. Far superior to the electric one it replaced. Between this and the potential power bill savings by moving the water heating to gas, I can’t understand why I did not get one of these sooner.
* The unit is a solid construction and seems to be well engineered.
* The customer service is very prompt and excellent if you do have a problem with your product.
Hope this helps someone looking at purchasing one of these things.
Replaced a similar wall shower. Very easy to install and has great pressure and simple to control flow and temperature. Prompt delivery and very well packaged. Would recommend.
i am a complete DIY novice but this took me less than 10 minutes to swap out and replace my
generic non branded shower bar mixer tap that was failing to control temperature. just needed to locate the stop cock in my house as there were no isolation valves coming from the combi boiler to the shower before removing the old and refitting the new. only needed an adjustable wrench and a cloth to stop the wrench damaging the chrome nuts. No leaks and perfect temperature! much cheaper than calling out a plumber, give it a go
This was a straight swap for the old mixer bar in our bathroom. Changed in minutes. It works brilliantly. The old one was ceramic valve so 90 degree turn to full on. This one needs a full turn so I imagine it’s an old fashioned rubber washer. That doesn’t take anything away from it, great value and works really well.

Great value for money, easy to install and does exactly what you want it to.
I was impressed, firstly by the quick delivery and secondly by the quality. Fairly easy to install with flexible connectors, but don’t forget that you also, according to the installation instructions, need two non-return valves. My only criticism is the diameter of the two deck mounts – not much bigger than the holes in the bath, so that a bead of silicone around each was reqd. to prevent leakage when showering. Best to leave the side panel off the bath for a day or two, to be sure that there are no leaks.

However you’ll perhaps need to order the wall mounting brackets separately as they’re not included.

This was easy to install as l had easy access to turn off the hot/cold valves. Using the same fixings coming away from the tiles…. remove the old unit and replace with the new. Easy. The shower unit is much easier to regulate, so a decent shower. Under these circumstances you do not need a plumber.
It took me 5 mnts with a small adjustable spanner to fit this. Looks and feels good quality. Does the job. How long it is going to last is something I will have to wait and see.
The first rendition was faulty, had a crack in the body, the replacement cost me 7 more just because the legs were extra. Not pleased with that aspect. To be fair they sorted refund for faulty ones quickly so well done there.
My word of caution would be don’t do as I did (slightly embarrassed) and over tighten the large nut of the bar to the dog legged reducer that is supplied in the kit, I turned the rubber washers to mush, and both sides leaked once I turned the water back on…..poor quality rubber or just over zealous on my part or a bit of both maybe, I have to admit I do tend to turn spanners until they don’t turn anymore if this is also your logic I advise go steady…try to feel the metal threads press against the rubber washer then give it a part turn. I was working on a partition wall with an access hatch at the back I put in so very easy to work on and maintain, you may not have this luxury so I hope this helps you get it right first time and avoid my error.
It would have been nice to have a spare set of washers in the box for the future or for fitting errors ( I fitted a new kitchen mixer tap the same day and that came with a spare set of everything and it was only a cheap one from Tool Station….I mean they cost penny’s literally)
Luckily I had similar washers to try again and this time no leaks success! 😀
I think I’m also right in saying this bar has a ceramic cartridge at the left hand side ( the water on/off dial) so easy to replace if you develop a dripping shower head later down the line….worth a note for those not so DIY.

After my old shower bar failed I was looking at a bill of a few hundred pounds for a plummer to replace it.
A visit to a well known DIY store didnt prove any better with the cheapest bar, riser pole, shower head and hose (They didnt sell the mixer bar on its own) being 120.
Thankfully found this on Amazon and with the 5 discount it cost me just uner 35.
Arrived the following day.
Took me 10 mins to remove the old mixer bar and replace it with the new one.
Looks good and does the job.

Good quality product for a very reasonable price, swapped out with a faulty thermostatic mixer that wouldn’t respond to required temperature changes and stayed fixed at a set temp, problem could have been solved with a replacement valve but this seemed simpler and easier.
5 min swap of old to new and the shower is back up and running as it should be.

My old shower bar had failed and I was faced with the option of paying several hundred pounds to a plumber or attempting to install a replacement from a DIY store for about 150 ( they want to sell you the whole shower with hoses and new shower head etc. )
I decided that for this price I would have a go myself. If your current bar is fixed with chrome nuts and the hot and cold feeds are the standard 150mm to the centre apart, as mine was, this unit is a really straightforward swap. I used a little PTfE tape as advised by my mate otherwise it came with everything I needed apart from an adjustable wrench.
Highly recommended.
