No, Floodlight Camera records motion activated events. Floodlight Camera has a longer detection range and supports a 10s pre-buffer to ensure complete events are recorded.
How does the 10s pre-buffer work?
Floodlight Camera stores a rolling 10s of footage. When it detects an event, it starts recording and adds the previous 10s to the beginning of the video.

Die Gesichtserkennungsfunktion ermglicht es der Kamera, bekannte Personen zu erkennen und eine benutzerdefinierte Benachrichtigung zukommen zu lassen, wenn sie erkannt werden. Die Bewegungserkennung kann so eingestellt werden, dass sie nur dann aktiviert wird, wenn bestimmte Aktivitten erkannt werden.

Leider schon die Zweite. Die erste war defekt wurde aber anstandslos ausgetauscht.

I already have ring camera and wanted try some other cameras for outside my Garage. So after reading the reviews thought to buy this and it was on offer. After using is about 5 months or so I thought to write a review. The setup was very easy if you do a bit of DIY around the house. App installation on Apple iPhone was also easy. The Camera was working great and the resolution was even better than the Ring plus there is no need of monthly subscription and inbuilt storage is a bonus.
There are a couple of issues I noticed. Specially with the App. I was having issues with video playback. The recording was fine but unable to play on my iPhone. Tried on Android, same issue but only the sound was playing but not the video. So, I contacted the customer service and after several tries of uninstalling, installing the app, removing the device from the app and re adding it, I gave up. The customer service thought it was probably with the camera and asked me to send it to them. I couldn’t be bothered about removing the camera and pack it and send it to them.
But recently with app update in the background or something happened, the record and playback started working and I was surprised to see finally the videos are working. Now the video playback issue is fixed and hope the app works like this way.
The other issue is AI human detection. It sends alerts and turn on the floodlight even for cobwebs and heavy wind with snow like showers saying human was detected. If they fix the issues with the app then this is a great camera and worth to buy.
Threw it up really quick using a cable from an old security light that was broken. Dead easy..

eufy ist aus meiner Sicht im Punkto Einfachheit/ Gerte Auswahl und Preis super. Das wichtigste bei Kameras ist das diese stabil laufen. Es sind mehrere Kameras im Einsatz mit unterschiedlicher WLAN Strke luft seit ber 4 Monaten super.
Erste Camera hat nicht funktioniert da keine WLAN Verbindung mglich,nach Neubestellung 2te Camera angeschlossen und alles einwandfrei funktioniert!
Scheinwerfer sind sehr hell!!

This is a great piece of kit. Integrates nicely with my other Eufy cameras. Don’t despair if it looses its wi-fi just come out the app and try again.

Simple to install simply replace your old hard wired floodlight with it ,easy to set up and connect then your up and running took me about a hour.

In algemene goed product, paar dingen moet beter licht moet beter instelbaar zijn en als je homebase ook hebt dan de data moet daar op opgeslagen kunnen worden.
Makkelijk te installeren en werkt perfect. Is ook heel makkelijk te “delen” met gezinsleden. Bedienen cam plus lamp met google assistent is echter een probleem: lamp is te bedienen, camera met geen mogelijkheid (zelfs niet door mensen met handigheid in dit soort dingen) . Installatievoorschriften gaan alleen over het aansluiten op stroomnet, over koppeling is niets duidelijk terug te vinden ook niet op internet…dat kan stukken beter en vooral duidelijker. Ondanks dat zijn we er tevreden mee. Floodlightcam 2k bewaakt mijn achtertuin.
You always see the negative reviews are largely about their problems with their unit, but that tends to blur the overwhelming majority of the positive reviews for this camera. I have had a number of different ones over the years, foscam, arlo, anker, imou, Eufy etc. so I feel qualified to comment. This is a quality product supported by an easy to use app. it has a number of innovative options including human detection and alert zoning. The app is easy to use and the picture is superb both day and night. Cant fault this bit of kit.
Has a very similar camera made by another popular company beginning with E. The amount of false alarms and false triggers made it unusable for what you buy these for, drove me made at first, CS chat and emails were pointless so two years on i bought this Eufy replacement, 100% improvement in every way. NO false alarms light not going off for no reason all night, Notifications are fantastic and the AI does exactly what it says, i have the doorbell now and its 100% also.

Cette camra fonctionne bien en vision diurne et nocturne. Il n’existe que 2 types de dtection: IA pour les humains, fonctionne trs bien,ou bien tous les mouvements dans l’image (humains, vhicules et animaux). Le logiciel pourrait tre un peu plus abouti (comme Reolink).
After doing some research i wanted a camera that was able to be used with Alexa as well as notifications on the iPhone/watch. This camera was able to do all i need.
If the camera had the option to add an extra SD card i would give 5 star.

Excellent product & great app to work with it. I really like the ease in which you can set everything on your phone. Watch any play backs, manage the alerts ie turn off motion for everything except people. Great feature to turn on the incredibly bright lights to check around from your bed at night if you want to. Will buy another for the back of the house no doubt, amazing value!

This spotlight camera is very well built and a perfect picture.
Die Floodlight von eufy ist eine klasse Kamera. Die Bilder und die Qualitt sind top. Leider ist keine HomeKit Anbindung mglich. Der Bewegungsmelder lst mir nachts etwas zu oft aus obwohl man Tiere ausschalten kann. Ansonsten tolles Produkt und super hell !

I have this installed over my garage that over looks my driveway. I’ve had to set a motion zone as the camera is capable of picking up people on the path.
Not only is the camera quality better than the 1080p version ,for me, the rich notifications are a deal breaker. You get a snap shot of who is on your drive from the Lock Screen, meaning you do not have to open the app if you have poor signal and wait for the footage to download.
The flood lights are extremely bright, I’ve set mine to 50% brightness as this gives of a sufficient enough light for my driveway.
Currently had this for a week, hasn’t missed an event yet, very impressed!
