I’ve owned this Euhomy ice maker for 2 weeks. Delivery was prompt and just in time for the record temperatures we had in the U.K.in July 2022.
The machine works very well considering the low price relative to many machines. It is not very fast but if you take that into account when you need ice, then, no problem. The initial batches of ice are slower in arriving and very small – the cubes can fall through the collection basket and back into the reservoir. But once the machine cools down after 3-4 batches, then you get 8+ cubes out every 5-6 mins and the size is a bit smaller than the top section of your thumb.
Very easy to operate and drain down. It holds quite a bit of water at the end, so have a basin or bucket handy or you may get a spill.
I use filtered water and there is no detectable taste to the cubes.
Early days to comment on reliability so I’ll leave that aside.
The only issue I have is with the instructions for cleaning the inside of the machine- it does make a lot of sense to me and no diagrams or detailed guidance on hot to do it without risking damage. That said if you maintain good sterile conditions, there shouldn’t be a major issue just using a clean cloth to carefully wipe down and absorb residual water.
Nice and easy to use. Quick results. Had ice cubes in a matter of minutes. Even the large ones are a little small but does produce them quickly.
Maschine wie Beschrieben, Eiswrfel werden allerding erst beim dritte Auswurf richtig gut, und damit kann ich sehr gut leben.
This is so convenient, I have a tiny freezer, I love my drinks cold, I flip this on, 10 minutes later I’ve got loads of ice. Worth every penny!
Macht was er soll sehr schnell und gut. Der Geruschpegel ist minimal. Wrde ich wieder kaufen. Schnelle Lieferung und gut verpackt.
Wir haben die Maschine fr unsere Terrasse gekauft, sie ist sehr schnell geliefert worden, auch ohne Mngel, in der Beschreibung steht zwar ,dass man die Maschine nach 2 Stunden anschlieen kann und auf der Maschine war ein Aufkleber mit 24 Stunden noch ruhen lassen, ….Was wir tatschlich dann auch taten, vielleicht sollte man sich da einig werden! ….
Dann ging es doch recht schnell ,angeschlossen und schon ging es los….
Die ersten Eiswrfel kann man verwerfen, wir hatten sie dann mal laufen lassen ca 2 Stunden bis der Korb gefllt war, ein zufrieden Ergebnis, auch der Geruschpegel ist sehr gering, dass restliche Wasser kann man sehr einfach wieder rauslassen und anschlieend die Maschine trocknen….
Fr unsere Zwecke sind wir voll zufrieden!
Das Gert ist wirklich hammer, leicht zu bedienen und auch zu reinigen! Ist auch nicht laut, bin sehr zufrieden, wrde 100% wieder kaufen!!!

Almost perfect meaning – yes I wish the ice was a bit bigger, which is where it loses the 1 star.
Otherwise this is perfect.
My tips:
After switching on leave the collection basket out for a couple of cycles, this allows the dispensed ice to fall back into the reservoir to chill before it is pumped into the ‘ice pool’ (if it’s colder when it goes in – then it freezes quicker and the ice is bigger)
Most importantly, USE DISTILLED WATER. I cannot stress this enough. I have seen these machines in other peoples houses covered in black mould where they’ve been putting tap water in it. To clean these machines properly is a nightmare. The chemicals in tap water will turn any water device to a mould infested or scaled up issue.
The only water I consume is distilled, and I can tell you that my kettle is as good as new, never needs descaling, and my Euhomy Ice Machine will never need cleaning. If you use tap water, then look at these machines and kettles just after a few days/weeks use, because what you see in there is what is in your body!
In summary – It does almost a perfect job.
Just look after it and yourself with distilled water.
It’s a pretty small (like a large breadbox) device that makes the ice — make sure that you run it for a few cycles because first cubes are “weaker” than 2+ cycle. It does 9 cubes in 8 minutes and it takes about 2.5 hours to full the ice basket. The fan noises are clearly noticeable but it’s not a machine you would run 24/7 so it’s okay. Very satisfied!
Compact and stylish easy to use and easy to clean. Quick to make ice too .

Be aware that the first couple of cycles the ice is not perfect but when it gets going it gets better.
The only down side is that the ice cubes are a bit small
This is a great machine. Arrived well packaged so there was no damage of any sort, also plastic cling style wrap so no scratches. I actually thought it would be quite complicated but it’s so easy, simply pour water into the front of the unit and switch it on, then choose ice size, small is about the size of a regular cube, though these come out as bullet shapes from the cones the water freezes onto. The instructions say 12-15 mins later you’ll have ice, and yes it’s that quick, 13 mins later the first cubes drop! The longer the machine is on the quicker the freezing process. 2 hours later I had a massive bucket of perfect bullet ice!

You can hardly hear the machine, just when it empties the cubes. Within 10min you have your ice cubes which come in 2 different sizes

I LOVE this machine. I use it daily. Doesn’t take too long to make a little scoop of ice cubes. Takes maybe an hour or so for a full basket. I like the idea of being able to choose small or large sized cubes but don’t get too excited they are quite small anyway. Also worth pointing out the cubes are conical and hollow like little mini cups. I personally wouldn’t be without mine. I managed to get it under 100 for the Amazon warehouse section as an open box. Not a mark or thing wrong with it. Bargain. Love it!!

Ive always also wanted an ice machine built into the fridge but the water supply is too far away to plumb to an ice making fridge. this is a great next best alternative. We were going through bags of ice and it feels such a waste, both in terms of money but also the carbon footprint of trucking frozen water! bought this for in the kitchen and it’s brilliant in daily use but also when entertaining as ice is constantly being produced. I now leave the machine to run a few hours at a time and put the ice into the freezer in a large Tupperware container and use it during the week. When we need more we simply fill this machine with tap water and let it do its thing. It’s quick, quiet and ice is always fresh. Highly endorsed.
I buy this ice maker for home use. It is excellent, very easy to use. Just in 6 mins for 9 Cubs ready to use. The ice cubes are delicious. All my family enjoy them. The cooling system is great and the engine sound is quite when working. We can see clearly the process of making ices through the transparent window. My two boys are very excited about it. It is also easy to clean after using it. I am so happy to buy this ice maker.
