Resea de cable de 15m. Funciona perfectamente. No hace cosas raras y es manejable para poder cablear.

Update: The seller replaced the broken cable quickly and free of charge, so you can at least expect decent customer service. The replacement cable seems to work well so far, but the again the previous cable worked great for about 3 months before failing so we’ll see. Having to uninstall the old cable and route the replacement was a multi-hour undertaking that should have been avoided from the beginning but I’m glad the seller was responsive and prompt.

    Original:

TLDR: The cable worked spectacularly well for 3 months and then seemingly died overnight – no response despite changing input and output devices. The cable has not been moved at all during that time.

If you’re looking at this review, you probably know how hard it is to purchase an HDMI 2.1 cable that actually works at 4k 120hz. This is my third attempt to procure a working HDMI 2.1 cable, the first two (from a different manufacturer) had image artifacts and blackouts. Unlike my other 2 cables, this one worked great at first. 3 months of daily usage connecting a computer to an LG OLED TV in another room with no problems at all. Then I woke up one morning to find this cable completely dead and no amount of troubleshooting has resolved anything – both my graphics card and TV are still working fine. I have contacted the company and requested a replacement through both Amazon and their official website. I will update this review accordingly if and when I receive a response.

For those still looking for HDMI 2.1 cables, the quality control issues have become such an issue that Linus Tech Tips has actually invested in a cable tester to see if cables actually are built to spec. You may want to check out these videos on YouTube to help inform your purchasing decisions.

    Buon gaming a tutti!

Using the 65 ft version with an Xbox Series X. 65 ft cable is working perfectly delivering a 1440p 120hz signal from the console to the TV. My TV cant do 4k @ 120hz, so I can’t co firm whether works with this cable or not. I won’t be using this cable regularly, but I’ll update this review if I experience any problems in the near future. So far so good! Note that the cable is directional, so be sure to hook up the ends properly (source vs output).

There weren’t that many reviews for this HDMI cable and I needed a 20m one. Safe to say this works as expected running up to 4K HDR with VRR/GSync at 120hz. This is running on an RTX3080 connected to a Samsung Q90T.

When I first plugged it in, I needed to reboot the PC a couple of times and reseat the cable for it to pick up the proper settings so don’t worry if when you first plug it in Windows doesn’t show it up to 120hz, this happened to me for some reason but then started working. There was also an instance of Windows just not recognising the TV but again a reboot and plugging it in afterwards solved this. Now the settings are fixed on future restarts.

If you’re like me and you use your gaming PC connected to a TV for couch comfort, I would recommend buying Display Fusion where you can bind commands to your keyboard. So one button for me switches the TV to the primary monitor and switches the audio to my 5.1, another button switches it back to the monitor and PC speakers. Makes it very simple when running games and doesn’t mess with overlays or cause issues (I find running games on my non-primary screen fiddly).

With this being a fibre cable you can really minimise things like electrical interference as its the conductive core is isolation from ground loops etc by basic physics. The plugs are larger than standard HDMI leads as they have an optical encoder in one end and optical decoder in the other end, similar to fibre internet. This has the potential to support mammoth amounts of data bandwidth, which being HDMI2.1 certified it makes good use of. Now this cable actually helped me prove that my new TCL TV was missold as it was advertised with 2.1 support yet both the PS5 and RTX3070 would not connect at more than 2.0. I was originally told repeatedly that it must be my cable so when I swapped to this the issue was finally taken seriously. Moral of the story: Don’t by the TCL 55826K expecting HDMI2.1 as it’s not true, and do buy this is you want a flawless high spec HDMI cable.

Flawless high spec HDMI fibre cable. Be aware the plugs are directional

We have a smurf tube running behind our TV to our basement. This allows the wall-mounted TV to not have anything under it, however, we needed to get a long cable to get the things set up in the basement. This fits the bill and works quite well for the purpose. It does what we wanted it for and is pretty handy too.

I have a couple gaming PCs in the basement (a better place for the hot loud energy hogs they are) and I use these to run HDMI up to 4K TVs upstairs, and this cable facilitated one such run. The cable delivers a great picture, great sound, and is impervious to interference. That’s a real blessing, as I also run various power, network, and analog signals through the cable runs, and fiber just doesn’t care about any electromagnetic interference. Be sure to put the source end of the cable into the source and the display end into the display (as an active cable they’re not interchangeable), and the rest will just work. My needs didn’t test ARC/eARC, so nothing to report there. If that’s a need for you, check other reviews (some fiber connections struggle with this facet of the connection).

There seems to be a bit of confusion about these FeizLink 8K HDMI Fibre Cables, why you might need one and why you might want to pay this extraordinary price just for a cable. It’s worth knowing that a standard HD signal can travel quite a long way along good quality cables before it starts to degrade, maybe as much as 15 metres. When you upgrade to a 4K signal that maximum length drops precipitously to around 3 to 5 metres. So if you’re connecting a device to your 4K TV and it’s quite close and the required cable is less than 3 metres long then you don’t really need one of these Fibre Optic cables and any good quality HDMI cable will offer the same picture quality.

On the other hand if you’re trying to connect over a longer distance, especially if it’s a 4K (or even better) signal then these cables help by breaking through the normal limitations of copper cables by using fibre optics instead. To achieve that, built into the HDMI connectors at either end of the cable is a convertor which converts the digital signal into an optical one that can travel along the glass fibres, before being converted back again at the other end. That’s why these cables are so eye-wateringly expensive and why they’re a one-way connection. The advantage of the optical connection is that it can send data over massive distances (theoretically hundreds of kilometres!) with virtually no loss of signal quality.

In my case I wanted to connect a NAS (network attached storage) server to my TV directly using the HDMI port on the back of the server. That’s simple enough to do with any HDMI cable but the server is so noisy with a fan running constantly that I didn’t want it sitting next to my TV while I was trying to watch something. This cable means I can move the noisy server well away from the TV, into a cupboard or even another room, and still have a fast capable connection between the two. It works and it works really well! There’s nothing extra you need to do, these cables just work like any other HDMI cable even though they’re using a very different technology and you just plug-in and play. So, if you’ve got a long gap to bridge between your source device and the TV or projector you’re using this cable is a simple, if very expensive, solution. Sorted.

I like that this cable have many options to choose the length of your needs, as this also makes a great set up to connect things that are farther away from the TV than your usual HDMI cable. I have a PS5 next to my Vizio OLED TV, so I don’t need all that length, but it’s great to know I can also use this to connect my laptop and other devices to my TV if I’m sitting across the room, etc.

What’s also great is the warranty, which is a limited lifetime warranty. It doesn’t apply if your dog or cat suddenly chews it, but for manufacture’s defects it would be covered.

Finally, the reason for the higher price is that it’s made of fiber optic, which is better than regular HDMI cables which are made of copper. Fiber optic can limit interference over a much longer length, especially after 10 meters/33 feet.

I have tried a few hdmi 2.1 cables that suffere from dropouts if you max them out. Im talking full 4k/120. Becaues alot of systems cannot suppor this fully, they often get away with substandard cables. I Used this to connect my 3090 a 4k projector that I have at the other side of my house. As i have insinuated above, i had tried other cables, suffering from occasional split second dropouts.

I genuinly had no issues with this cable. With this cable the quality of the image remained stable and after a good 3 hours of playing games, i didnt have any dropouts at all. The length definitly was not a problem, which was exactly what i was looking for

Due to the spec, and the length it is not bidirectional. It basically has one side that is input and the other that is output. This is uncommon so just be aware if at first it doesnt work. It didnt bother me, as i assume its a requirement to keep this quality at this length.

Its fully hdmi 2.1 as discribed, so it does support all hdmi 2.1 features. Incuding 8k resulution, earc, etc.

This cable works amazing! It has a superb build quality. The metal casing and the well labeled text give it a high quality feel. This cable flawlessly sends a 4k@120hz signal the 40ft without any issue. I tried it with an Xbox series X and am able to play at 4k@120hz. I tried another cable at 25ft that was a lot thicker than this and it failed to send a 4k signal even after claiming that it did. I use this to run it from my desk to a PC that I moved to a closet to keep the heat in the room down. The cable is surprisingly thin and easy to run through corners. This being fiber optic it maybe sensitive to being bent to much, I didn’t try to bend or crease it and I didn’t see any warnings about it. As long as you let it bend naturally you should have no issues. I didn’t try this with ARC/ eARC and I don’t have an 8k signal to test it with. It comes packaged well in a cardboard box along with nice high quality cable ties that are easy to reuse. If I need another long run I will defiantly pick up another one of these. This quality and long run is well worth the price.

This being fiber optic it maybe sensitive to being bent to much, I didn't try to bend or crease it and I didn't see any warnings about it. As long as you let it bend naturally you should have no issues. I didn't try this with ARC/ eARC and I don't have an 8k signal to test it with. It comes packaged well in a cardboard box along with nice high quality cable ties that are easy to reuse. If I need another long run I will defiantly pick up another one of these. This quality and long run is well worth the price.

This cable works amazing! It has a superb build quality. The metal casing and the well labeled text give it a high quality feel. This cable flawlessly sends a 4k@120hz signal the 40ft without any issue. I tried it with an Xbox series X and am able to play at 4k@120hz. Being a Hi-Fi fan I’m convinced good quality cables make a small but important contribution to the performance of your system.
This arrives neatly packaged and feels very nicely made. The cable retains a good deal of flexibility which is great if you need to turn some tight corners for installation.

Be aware that this cable is directional so ensure you install it the right way round.

    I haven’t got an 8K tv but I can confirm it runs 4K @ 120Hz with Gsync.
Being HDMI 2.1 means its future proof for some time which is great.

Most normal HDMI cables aren’t able to match the capabilities of this cable over a long length so if you need over 5m this glass fibre technology is well worth going for.

I’m delighted with the performance and while its expensive I don’t think its unfairly priced.

I hope you find my review helpful.

HDMI cables have always been very controversial in terms of pricing and abilities. I remember when you had very cheap cables next to really expensive ones. Apart from fancy looks there seemed to be no difference between them. Fibre HDMI is a bit different.

Fibre has always been understood as something really fast and stable. It’s the same idea with fibre HDMI cables. They allow for long transfers of large amounts of data required for smooth high resolution picture and sound.
Normal cables should be able to successfully transmit video and sound up to 5m. Anything over this length, especially with 8K, is a gamble. It may work but you may get blackouts. Fibre simply adds the required strength and stability.
The reviewed cable is quite well made. It is surprisingly flexible. I always thought fibre cables were the thickest ones. This is one of the thinnest cables I have. The plugs are all metal, with 24k gold plated connectors which reduce interference and help with signal degradation. They seem sturdy enough to last a bit. It’s a single direction cable where the plugs are labelled ‘source’ and ‘display’.
The cable comes in a solid but rather simple carton box. I think for this price it could have a bit nicer packaging.
The test went well although I’m only able to check 4K currently (like the majority of people), but at least you can have it at 120Hz rate. The picture was clear and the colors were vibrant. HDR was present and ARC and Dolby Atmos worked as well.

Fibre technology is still quite expensive. Therefore you can expect the cable prices to be around 5-10 times higher than a regular HDMI. Personally I would only use them for longer distances so I got a 10m cable. This cable is 88 at the time of review and it is not a high price for an 8K 10m fibre HDMI cable. Do your own research but I believe this cable deserves the price. Happy to recommend.

Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

The FeizLink – 8K HDMI 2.1 cable is designed for next generation Games consoles and PC video cards that need support for extra bandwidth nearing the 48 Gbps mark. This cable fits the bill perfectly it offers support for 120 Hz at 4k, Variable refresh rate and low latency mode. I tested this cable with my friends PS5 console, I connected it to a TV that supports 120hz@4k. The cable worked well and it was outputting the right resolution and Hertz. There were no frame dropouts and stuttering. This HDMI 2.1 cable also supports eARC and will support future Audio formats. The cable is well built the cable sheath is thick and sturdy, the metal HDMI connectors feel solid and click solidly into my TV ports. The connector are gold plated this will ensure a good signal and less interference. The price of this cable is expensive and you should only buy this if you have a high end PC or PS5 console, you will also need a Compatible TV. Most televisions this year are shipped with HDMI 2.1 ports, The Sony 2021 tv range and most of LG Televisions support these new specifications. Overall a good quality cable that supports everything you need to future proof yourself, just bit expensive.

There are few cable options to choose from 5m, 8m, 10m, 15m and 20m, where the price starts from about 78.99 to 105.99. Yes, it is pretty expensive, but the quality of the cable is exquisite, and you will receive as well a lifetime guarantee with it, so it is definitely worth the price.
The cable comes in a nicely packaged cardboard box, is 24k gold-plated metal endings that are corrosion resistant. The cable part is an aluminium hose with a triple shielding structure and nylon braided. The connection of the cable is perfect, especially between my 4K iMac and my HD screen Tv.
I am very pleased with this product and definitely can recommend this choice.

This is extortionate. It works great, but I wouldn’t pay that sort of money for it.

A lot of these 2.1 cables seem to have issues with certain cards/tvs etc. This cable worked for me. I’m using an AMD Radeon 6900 xt and and pairing it with one of the latest LG 4k OLED televisions and it does manage to handle 4k resolution at 60hz without delay or any issues as far as I can tell.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThere’s always been a mystery around HDMI cables, and how you can spend a couple of pounds or a couple of hundred pounds on a HDMI cable with little discernable difference. And it’s not helped by the HDMI standard evolving every few years, but generally the average user would be hard pushed to notice the difference from one cable to another. I’ve got countless cables from a few quid in cost up to 100, and there’s negligible difference. My living room’s entertainment system has a bewildering mass of cables hidden out of sight, with all of the HDMI ports on my Denon amp filled with PS5, Xbox, Wii, Apple 4k TV etc connecting to an LG OLED TV. Some of them are connected with 5 cables, some with 15 cables and one or two with 50+ cables. I’ll be honest, you’d be hard pressed to know which one is which.

Most cables will satisfy your requirements, but, there’s another new standard slowly trickling in. And this one might be important. As we’ve gone from Standard definition through HD and on to 4K it’s pushed what a HDMI 1.4 cable can handle, and 8K is a leap too far. As such manufacturers have started to equip new products with HDMI 2.1 ports, capable of much higher transmissions of sound and vision, taking into account all the different HDR standards too. Through 2019 only LG TVs had 2.1, but 2020 and now 2021 has seen other manufacturers begin to introduce them to their sets too (although I might be wrong but I’m sure I read that LG are still the only fully compliant brand). So, to make use of it, we’ll all need to buy quality HDMI 2.1 cables, especially if you need a particularly long cable for example if you have a projector in the ceiling/rear of your room. Naturally, the names in A/V are keen to sell you their extremely expensive cables.

I’ve tested several HDMI cables over this last year, and this Feizling cable has so far been flawless. I’ve been testing it on my LG OLED TV (4K) and it’s so far been spot on. I’ve trialled it on my PS5 and everything looks excellent. It’s a decent length of cable at 5m which gives me options, but if I wanted longer then 10 and 15m lengths are available. The connections feel premium and looks good, however I was suprised at how supple the cable was. I was expecting something much thicker.

As I’ve not currently got any 8K devices I can’t comment on performance with that format, but few not many people have right now.

My criticism is that it’s a very expensive item, and when I swap it out for a cable I bought from Amazon for a fifth of the price I can’t tell the difference. Maybe I’m just a techno-pleb, but I would hope with all the gadgets and gizmos I’ve got I could tell the difference if it was there.

I have a TV in my bedroom but no space in there for any games consoles, Blu-ray players or cable TV boxes. Now, thanks to this 15 metre cable, I can connect the TV to all the devices I have in my living room (albeit only one at a time).

High speed HDMI 2.1 cables are only certified up to a couple of metres. This one isn’t a conventional HDMI cable though, as it instead relies on fibre optics. It only works in one direction but the ends are clearly marked with SOURCE in green and DISPLAY in red, so I had no problem telling them apart and connecting the cable the right way around.

The cable seems to be very well-made. The connectors are gold-plated and have plastic caps to keep them free from dust when not in use. The cord is thin and very flexible, no rigidity or stiffness at all. It uncoils without kinking and coils back up beautifully. There are three velcro straps included to keep it tidy.

In terms of performance, I was very impressed with the cable. Whether carrying a 4K signal or 2K, the picture and sound quality were indistinguishable from my shorter regular HDMI 2.1 cables and I didn’t detect any interference. Gaming was smooth and responsive, no tearing or any other issues. It works perfectly.

It’s significantly more expensive than regular HDMI cables but if you’re willing to pay the price, this cable can solve a lot of problems if you have to connect devices over a distance. I’m extremely happy with it.

Long, lightweight and flexible HDMI 2.1 cable, excelle

This cable is very premium. This is significant from the moment you take it out of the box.
The connectors are very heavy and very solid giving the cable a very premium feel.
Being fibre optic, the cable is of a somewhat smaller diameter which in some cases can actually be very useful.
My line of work often brings me into home AV work as aweel and I am often tasked with running HDMI cables for projectors and TV’s etc. I can say for sure this is definitely one of the best quality cables I have used out of all the fibre optic HDMI’s I have tested.
It is vital of course that when running the cable you make sure it is orientated correctly as if you orientate it incorrectly it simply will not work as fibre optic HDMI is directional. I have made this very simple mistake and has cost me dearly so the very obvious markings on the connectors are very much appreciated.

Overall for the price, this is a very very good value for a money HDMI cable and have used many other that have cost much more but this one outweighs them all for a lower cost.

If you are looking for a really reliable HDMI cable then this is a very solid option and it will not let you down.

This is a serious lead with serious performance, I got this to run 4k 120hz from my RTX 3070 to my c1 display, the image is crisp and looks stunning with this lead and even at 10m there are no issues to report, it’s basically doing exactly what I wanted, build quality-wise it’s great, you do have to be away of which direction you put this lead because like most of the fibre stuff it is directional, all in all, I’m very happy with this and give it 5 stars, highly recommended to anyone wanting to play 4k 120hz on the big screen.

An excellent quality cable for using with a gaming PC and 4k TV. I’m sure it’s not my eyes playing tricks but at these speeds there is no lagging or pixelation around fast moving objects and it produces a flawless picture with sound quality.
The ends have to go the right way around which is different than a normal hdmi, don’t know why, and these are clearly marked.
This cable is more about higher end graphics for gaming but is great to have the length as well to run as required to serve larger rooms and either projection screens or equipment elsewhere.
    Excellent.

In the past it has been well documented that paying a premium for HDMI is not strictly necessary and currently this lead is at the premium price point. However this cable is not copper but fibre and is noticeably thinner than most, particularly braided cable.
It is highly flexible and the 5m version I chose is a great length as an interconnection between my Apple TV in a cabinet and TV on the top and although I cannot make full use of the 120hz and HDMI 2.2 8k resolution my C8 is noticeably brighter more colourful and motion is smoother.
Noticeably less chunky, the end connections are sound and the gold connections are good.
My tv isn’t particularly easy to plug in and out all of the leads in a line but this one is easily pluggable thanks to its slimness.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersPhysically the cable is well made. it seems to be more flexible than the other fiber cables I have tried. It doesn’t seem to have such a rigid cable memory. Once I unspooled it, I was able to lay it where I wanted to.

With my PC so far so good. The 50 foot cable is working well. I have an rtx 3090 and hooked it up to the LG CX OLED. The TV immediately gave the “instant game response” notification. That is a great start as I was missing that with other long cables whether they were 2.1 or 2.0 bandwidth. I am able to set the desktop and games at 4k 120hz with 10 bit color and g-sync is working perfectly.

I tested g-sync with games I knew weren’t going to be pegged at 120hz with this tv. Cyberpunk 2077, Hitman 3, Immortals Fenix Rising all stayed smooth and tear free as is expected with g-sync.

I also tested the cable with my PS5. With my previous 50 foot hdmi 2.0 non fiber cable I would get screen flicker and pop unless I lowered the bandwidth in the PS5 settings. Now, with this cable I don’t get any of the flicker/drop outs. For now I’m going to keep this cable on the pc and keep using the old cable on the PS5 in low bandwidth mode until I can get a 2.1 matrix splitter.

I can comfortably recommend this cable for use with an RTX 30 series card (if you can get a hold of one!) You’ll be able to get all of what you want out of your 120hz TV.

I tested this with a RTX 3090 and LG C9 OLED. I mention this as devices on the market that can properly use the capability of HDMI 2.1 / 48 gbps is becoming a new thing with the correct TV and source devices, so newer AMD and NVIDIA GPU’s, PS5’s and Xbox Series X console which in certain cases can do 120hz @ 4k with HDR. These sort of setting is where something like this is of use. A Skybox for example, will not see a magic picture quality upgrade vs a typical HDMI 2.0b cable which is more prevalent on the market.

Now first, the cable itself. As mentioned, HDMI 2.1 / 48 gbps cables are general becoming newer on the market and with the amount of data being carried, typical cables will not carry that much data over 10+ meters (or even 5m in most cases) without seeing issues now and then. That is where these sorts of fibre optic cables step in with the steeper, but warranted price tag. The cable itself is very thin and flexile, amazingly so to be honest. Comparing it to my normal HDM 2.1 cable and its stark. The terminals end in a solid housing with a specific source device connection side and TV side, possible due to way things are aligned internally.

Now results. Its perfect. As mentioned I tested with a RTX 3090 and LG C9 OLED. The C9 OLED while it has a 10bit panel, can accept a 12bit signal, unlike newer LG OLED’s so as a result I can stretch this cable to its theoretical limit of transferring 48 gbps in conjunction with the RTX3090 and it works perfect. No issues or artefacts at all firing up some games, with TV in game mode for lowest latency, G-Sync enabled, 12-Bit 4:4:4 HDR, 120hz @ 4k, basically the holy grail right now. In turn it means it will have no issues with PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles either.

Finally my setup is a eARC chain, so RTX 3090 to my LG C9 OLED and in turn to eARC AVR. In all cases, no issues at all with my RTX 3090 system being able to send through 7.1 and Dolby atmos signal via the eARC chain in addition to the full whack of settings above.

In all, this cable does exactly what it says on the box. Is it expensive, yes, but you need to understand what your getting here. 15m HDMI 2.1 cable for under 90 with the 10% voucher that seems available at time of writing is actually okay. Do ensure that you can make use of it however and both your Source device and TV do require HDMI 2.1 capabilities.

I am currently using with this in a temporary set-up since we are having our glass conservatory roof replaced with a tile one. As such, this cable will be between the new roof and plaster boarding. In the interim, it is connected to my current projector (being replaced with new one) and my Sony 7.1 soundbar and run along the floor.

This is one of the newer types of cable supporting HDMI 2.1 and HDCP 2.2/2.3 and of course 8K. It is designed for the new 8k TVs, 4K Gaming, newer sound formats like Dolby Atmos/DTS:X/Dolby True HD/Dolby DTS Master or if you are having problems with your 4K Apple TV Flickering & Flashing. It offers a big band width of 48Gbps and 4K 120hz refresh rate for gaming. It is also backward compatible with HDMI 1.4 — my current set-up.

A couple of things I really like about the cable are that it is somewhat futureproof, important as being covered over with plasterboard, and the cable is quite thin. It is not nylon braided like some, but this is not going to be an issue for me given my future set-up.

Despite being 15m long, there does not seem to be any drop-of in picture quality and sound is split out, going direct into my soundbar.

Unlike the traditional HDMI 1.4 cables, where it does not matter which way round you have it, this needs to be set-up the right way round. So, you have a source end, in my case connected to my soundbar, and an output end, connected to my projector.

At 96.99 this cable is certainly not cheap but does enable me to run it up the wall into and across the ceiling (approx. 20ft) and then into a junction box. I cannot weight to get all this set-up with my new projector. PS5, etc.

I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.

The cable arrived sealed in a cardboard storage box and coiled up and tied both sides using velcro ties, the connectors are solid and well made with removable plastic dust caps on each end, the cable is very flexible and is only around 4mm in diameter.
The cable is marked as “source” one end and “display” on the other so connecting them correctly is important, for this reason Its not recommended to be used with a HDMI splitter, the picture quality on 4K is crisp with no lag whilst using my Xbox series X, streaming 4K is smooth with no picture issues either.

I’ve never used an HDMI cable longer than 2m before, but it is a bit of a pain with something of that length if I want to project something from laptop to TV; it would be much more convenient to sit on the sofa and control the laptop from there. This 10m one gives me more than enough length to trail along the skirting board round one side of the room and then back behind the sofa to the other side (my laptop HDMI port being on that side), so that it’s completely out of the way and not in a position to trip over.

This is not braided cable, the diameter is relatively thin, but a braided cable of this length is going to be quite a hefty item rolled up. This means it doesn’t lay out straight and flat easily and you would have to pull it quite taut to do that. This is not a cable I intend to have permanently in position, so it’s something I will be rolling up and stowing away and unrolling again when needed. Only time can tell how durable it will be with such repeated treatment.

Note that this cable is unidirectional, but the two connectors are marked “source” (in small writing, but in clear green) and “display” (again in small writing, but in clear red). Picture and sound reproduction is superb, there is no obvious degradation here. (Having said that it’s not entirely easy to verify, since in fact the quality is better than my laptop; my TV resolution is better, and built in laptop sound is never very good. But there are no evident flaws in picture or sound.)

Comes with covers for the connectors and three velcro ties for storage.

We have a good quality TV but the picture didn’t always seem as good as we expected it to be. I put some of that down to the current problems we are experiencing with broadband and a weaker signal strength but, having installed this lead, it seems some of the issues may have been down to the previous lead (which wasn’t a budget option) and which could therefore have been faulty.

This lead is a good length although the cable girth is smaller than expected and it lacks any particular weight, but at least that means it is easier to tidy away out of sight. I selected a length that was a little longer than I anticipated I would need and the extra allowance has enabled me to feed it along routes that ensure it is out of sight.

Note there is an input and output end so that the cable can deal with converting the signal to optical to travel along the fibre optic cable and then back to digital, clearly marked on the products, so you shouldn’t go wrong.
