I have read several reviews here of the Stratocaster case that said that the headstock of the guitar will need to be pushed into the padding in order to close the lid, and that is exactly the situation with the Jazzmaster case. My conclusion is that it was a design decision and not an accident.
When placing the guitar in the case, you will need to put the headstock end in first and then slide the body end into position, pushing the headstock into the plush. I assume that before long the plush will conform to the shape of the headstock.

Traditionally I purchase SKB cases for my guitars when needed but I was looking for a more traditional style case for my “black strat” build. I was pleasantly surprised when I received this case. Solid outer wood, excellent lining, latches all matched up well and my guitar was snug inside the case. Took about a day for the foam to adjust around the instrument and then it was perfect. If you are looking for a solid vintage style case you cannot go wrong with this Fender model.
It’s arrival was well passed the delivery date but it fits my Fender lead series 2 guitar perfectly. It does not move around at all in the case…. Good quality, built strong lots of padding. Big storage compartment. Room for strap, packs of strings, cables, picks, mini notepad and keys. Slide the locks towards the outside to open the case.
I have 2 of this Fender cases. They are great. My Charvel Green Meanie and Jasckson Adrian Smith fit perfectly.

It was a little tight for my left handed Stratocaster, but it just fit. The lid seems a little lighter compared to my other cases of the same design, but it seems durable enough and cuts the weight a bit.
This is a good case for the money. I would buy one again if I ever needed to.

I purchased this for my new American Professional II strat because I dislike the larger molded case it came in that much. As you can see from the pictures, the fit is tight. At first I didn’t even think the case was the correct size as it seemed there was no way my strat would fit. But truth is I believe the case was designed this way intentionally. All of the foam that touches the sides of the guitar is only what I can describe as a firm memory foam that conforms to the body. I believe it’s as tight as it is the hold the guitar firmly in place. My BIGGEST issue with the design, however, is that the top of the headstock is pressed in so much that it forces one of the tuning pegs to the side. So be prepared to retune your guitar every time you remove it from this case.
Craftsmanship wasn’t the best on the case I received. It’s clearly a Fender branded G&G case, as in identical. G&G is likely the company who manufactures this case for Fender. Also, what none of the stock photos show is that on the non Fender logo side (bottom of case when laid flat) there’s a screw in the middle that holds the internal storage compartment in place. Mine was screwed in at an angle which is annoying.
Overall, I do like the case even with the cons. It suits my style more as I prefer it over the more bulky and expensive molded case that came with the strat, which feels cheap to me (just the exterior). This case is slimmer and overall feels more solid, but I’d never ever trust that it’d hold up for air travel. You’d need a much more rugged case for that.

This is a beautiful case but a little pricey for what you get. I was willing to pay extra for something that would fit my girlfriend’s new Mustang bass. However, it is about 2 or 3 inches too short for the Mustang. If that’s what you play, I can’t recommend this.
This is a nice, classic looking case. Price was ok. Cant say much about the durability cuz I just got it but it seems sturdy. It fits both my 02 American strat and 2020 am tele like a glove so I’m happy. Might have to order another if this one does well.
Case is solid, and well built. Fits my Fenders, Warwicks, and EBMMs nicely. Latches are aligned perfectly and I dig the tweed exterior.
Very happy bought it for $100.00 less because the packaging was damaged and taped. The Fender case was in excellent shape. Would buy from seller again.
This case is the real deal! I got a better deal on this brand new real Fender case for my Strat than some used ones I talked to for sale. The materials used are high quality and tough!

To top off the whole thing, it is used, you can clearly see the string markings on the interior from carrying a guitar for more than a short trip.

Der Koffer kam in einem etwas ldierten Originalkarton (war das Mal eine Retoure?) aus der Tschechoslowakei in wenigen Tagen hier an. Fr die mangelhafte Verpackung gibt’s einen Stern Abzug. Der Koffer hat glcklicher Weise nicht gelitten.
Schwerer robuster E-Gitarrenkoffer von Fender (Made in China). Auf der einen Seite schwerer als auf der anderen, um beim Tragen das Ungleichgewicht zwischen Body und Hals auszugleichen. Meine Fender Duo-Sonic HS MN SSB passt perfekt rein. Schtzt das Instrument auf Reisen bestimmt besser als ein Gigbag. Schlssel sind dabei. Ins Fach passt allerhand Krimskrams, aber keine Noten.

Ein wunderschner Koffer der extraklasse. Sowohl die Strat, als auch die Tele passen exact hinein. Die Gitarre wird vom inneren Polster fest gehalten, fast wie ein Formkoffer.
Der Plsch ist sehr weich und hervorragend gepolstert. Hochwertige dicke Nhte und die Liebe zum Detail machen diesen Koffer aus.
Das Fach ist per Knopfpin gegen ffnen gesichert. Was ich sehr toll finde ist, dass die Gitarre schrg liegt und beim Tragen gegen Rutschen zustzlich gesichert ist.

I was looking for a case that would store my grandfather’s telecasters that were passed down to me. I bought two of these cases and they hold fender telecasters as advertised.
Fit is very snug (Telecaster) – quality is good, price is good, protection is good – there are probably better cases out there of course, but this is still a very, very good case.
The product it’s self it perfect but the case comes with a locking feature but didn’t come with keys…

CASE WAS PERFECT IN THE STYLE OF THE OLD 50S CASES
I ordered two (one bass and one electric) and they were authentic fender products through and through. The boxes the came in, tags, and finishing were all very similar to quality cases from Fender I already own.
The class and beauty of this guitar case is undeniable! It’s sturdy and holds my tele in place perfectly. I’m very happy I went with this case.
I just got finished building my “Partscaster” custom and wanted a good case to protect it. VERY nice case. Plush lined with a compartment to hold stuff. This case fits my T style like a glove. And the price wasn’t bad neither.
Great case! Guitar sits perfectly with no movement. Construction feels solid for everyday transport. No issues opening it, just have to push the locks to the side like a briefcase to open.
4 as it’s a nice case (though heavy) and the service was fine. However, my left-handed Jazz base doesn’t quite fit. I didn’t see any cautionary note that this might be so. Very disappointing – back to the gig bag.

It’s a guitar case for a Fender Stratocaster and my Stratocaster fits inside the case perfectly! This is what I would expect a case for a Stratocaster to do, and it does so very well!
It’s a decent case for kicking about the house, not fit for cargo hold. Really do not know how much punishment it can take. All in US Strat and BAJA Tele fit perfectly.
Just as importantly (if not more), the case offers excellent protection to the bass inside, cradling it in just the right places; and it appears so far to be hard-wearing and tough. Saying that, I don’t think I’d ever risk putting it into an aircraft hold – though I’m pretty sure that Fender do not intend it to be used as a flight case anyhow.
Overall then, it’s a great case that I think offers very good value for money: you could of course pay much less for a hard case, but I virtually guarantee that putting your Fender bass into one of these beauties will not only give you full peace of mind about protection, it will also serve as a beautiful and valuable addition to your gear in its own right.
