Absolutely brilliant ( no pun intended !) Secured to a drainpipe at ankle level and lights up two shallow steps out of front door which are otherwise in darkness . Certainly added a safety feature to our lives.
Good product to have. Put ours at bottom of stairs (on a shelf) motion detects to top so no more hunting for light switches in dark. Replay handy thing to have.
When I get out my car on my driveway, light comes on ( good point as it lights up where u want to walk ) I also have it on the side of my door so it lights up the door lock which is handy to see
For the money brilliant, no instructions, Why? Not needed, simple to install batteries, three hanging methods, 30 second sensor adequate lighting, only ordered it yesterday, went to order another few out stock, quite disappointed

I have this on my roof terrace, on the side of a small conservatory. It is just about the right level of sensitivity, but don’t expect Blackpool illuminations. It provides sufficient light to find a set of keys or to illuminate a path, which is all I need.

We bought this light because the product info said that it could safely be hung by the adhesive strips alone. We got it for our conservatory door as we didn’t want to bore holes in the framework. After about 2 weeks, I went out this morning and the light was on the monoblock paving. Fortunately, it hadn’t shattered but the adhesive backing is completely gone so it must have been gradually losing grip since it was put up. Very disappointed as this misrepresentation. We’ll try another way to fix it in place without boring holes but that’s extra expense and it wasn’t a cheap light in the first place. If you’re happy to bore holes to attach this light, it’s good but, if not, don’t bother.
brightness is sufficient for our use which is to walk to the garage door at night. the motion detection is good but from the side the distance appears short. the time it stays on could be longer. I would recommend it for the short distance at the back of the house. I hung it on a hook which was sufficient therefore I do not know about the other method of hanging it.
Put the batteries in, hang it on a hook, it works! No more fumbling in the dark for door keys!
Used to light back gate entrance and back door, mainly to make it easier to use keys. Gives enough light for what we wanted. Portable as well which is an added bonus.
This is second one we have purchased. A replacement. Previous one had lasted years, with only one battery change. Good value for price paid.
Just what I was looking for, a motion sensor light for a small area which I was able to hang from the porch without having to have a permanent fitting. The light is pretty decent. We haven’t been using it long so not sure what it’s like on batteries yet but so far it’s OK.
Handy light. It does the job. Easy to install as it just hooks over a nail. The motion detection is good. I have it at the side of my front door, which is bright enough for me to clearly see my key hole when I get home when it’s dark.
Very easy to install with no tricky sensor settings to worry about . Just add three AA batteries and that’s it.
Got six of these now, ideal for winter months when there’s not much light from our solar light.
Fairly small. Battery powered. Easy to install using only a hook, or using the backplate. PIR working comfortably and consistently at around 5m distance. Clean white light, albeit not that bright. Perfect to illuminate side of house (mounted on the top of the front of a shed, so comes on as you walk towards it). Recommended.

Just what I needed and so far working very well. Far superior to previous more expensive motion lights that I had purchased.
This is what I was looking for. My home has already a light lamp outside but it turns on with a switch inside and can’t direct to my door to be able to see where to insert the keys at least. It’s light and just I used a needle to hang it facing my door side and it’s perfect.
The motion sensor is also very good and doesn’t turn on during the day when it’s not neeeded. Plus the fact I save a lot of electricity instead of keeping my lamp on when I’m away all day.
Bought this to put in the outdoor porch as it’s really dark and we struggle to see keys etc. installation was easy enough and clear instructions for setting motion detection or on. Motion detector is great – turns on as soon we open the door to leave the house (about 2 foot away) and detects the cars pulling into the drive from about 8 feet away. Might work at further distances, haven’t really noticed. It’s not a super bright light, I wouldn’t use it as a floodlight for example, but as a welcome light as we intended it’s grea
This light works well – only operating in the dark, responding to motion over a good distance, and very easy to just hang on a hook. No expensive or messy wiring. The light intensity is quite enough to illuminate my back door each time I approach it. Good value.

Purchased this to light a 10m passage way with steps at the side of my house, the light is ample for this purpose, but the motion detector doesn’t detect motion from the sides, only directly in front, so you have to be nearly in front of it before it lights. Otherwise pleased with the unit. My remedy is to buy another one so that I can put one at each end of the passage and it can be triggered immediately from either directio
Just like the previous reviewer, our garden is north facing so no solar-operated lights would have been useful for us. Bingo! I’ve bought more for the entire garden now so we can walk safely with lights. Batteries lasted about 2 months with auto setting (not sure how often they were turned on during this time). I can recharge the rechargeable AA batteries every couple of months, no problem! Just put small hooks in the wooden fences and place them, job done!
I put these at rear of property, I hate walking up drive in the dark, so this lights my path and it’s brilliant. The fact I don’t have to have a professional to install it is great. Just hung it up and good to go

I live in a Narrowboat- brought it for outside at the beginning of the year so I could see my locks at night. Just loved boats. Brought it inside & just changed batteries. It works like a dream in the mornings when I can’t see my clothes. Boat life – lights are important. I’m about to buy another one month end.
These outdoor lights provide soft lighting in small areas. They are exactly what I need. Use rechargeable batteries for economy.
I bought this device as I needed light near my mums back gate for protection as my mum is elderly I wanted it to be minimum maintenance and minimum fuss it has now been up a long time and the battery’s still have not been replaced and it is very bright when someone goes down towards the device it does a very good job
Excellent product. So easy to set up. Motion detection is first rate. Light could be a little brighter but it does the job of lighting my back steps very well. One at the top and one at the bottom lights up clearly enough to see my way up and down. Recommend.

I bought this motion sensor light for the exprees purpose of lighting muy front path when teh milkman comes at 3 a.m. The street lights are out at that time.
I’ve only had it a couple fo days but it seems to perfectly serve that purpose.
Wanted a light to fix to our hen house, perfect operation, lights up if cats etc approach the chickens, looks nice too.

The light was bright. The motion detection worked well and the batteries lasted a long time. The light was hung on a wooden snowman in the garden near the road. It was out in a lot of rain and some snow but worked perfectly.
I use them for a dark path down the side of the house and to generally provide more light in the back garden when I need to go out in the dark. They’re a really good alternative to wired-in lights if you just want some extra illumination for safety.

I’ve screwed the light onto the wall outside near the backdoor which was easy. As soon as I leave through the door at night it comes on and when I come back it lights up so I can see the lock for my key. Excellent produc
Good working light not the brightest but does the job
Great to light up those dark areas in the garden, without the need for hardwiring. They work well, sensor is great. I purchased two initially and a further two for other areas as I liked them. Very practical item.
Simple to use and install. Handy for those places where it is to hard to access mains power. I have it outside the entrance of my garden shed.
Arrived quickly. No batteries and a pain to install some. No instructions and you have to unscrew 6 tiny screws.
On off switch on back if unit, so you have to take the unit down to turn off.
Early days yet, so let’s see how long it works until I need to renew the batteries.
Good value for money and works all the time when needed
Used in understairs cupboard. Just sat it on a shelf. It comes on as you go in and switches off when you’ve gone out. Had fixings but didn’t need them for this job.

Very pleased with this light. It has a convenient hook as well as being supplied with a small bracket and screws. 3 AAA batteries are easy to install at the back. Good value for money.
We’ve had it for almost a month now under the inclement Scottish weather and it is working perfectly. It is set on Auto, so it only goes on when it is dark and it detects movement.

Great price , sturdy,the motion detection is a bit sensitive would of been nice to have a low to high switch but nothing a spot of black tape over the sensor doesn’t fix

Bought this sensor light to brighten up my garden gateway. Such a brilliant light. Easy to install and it gives off so much light. The sensors pick up movenent from about 2 metres away. I have ordered 2 more already !

Easily fitted and does give me more light to see at door, but light doesn’t spread too far. Would be brighter with clear cover over light, rather than opaque, but generally good product for the money.
