I use my paper trimmer for making cards and find the Fiskars trimmer perfect for cutting straight neat lines. The replacement blades were easy to fit and work perfectly. As there are lots of different replacement blades you must be careful to match them with your Friskars trimmer model number.
I can’t tell you how happy I am with this trimmer. I’m left handed and have purchased three other paper trimmers and ended up giving them away. This machine is great I can se what I’m doing. The guide wire is fab I have the machine in front of me not on its side. Its easy and accurate and I love it .
I’ve got several cutters and seem to go through blades far too fast (only cutting card or paper). The main problem I have with my previous ones is the lack of multiple measurement units. This has both CM and inches. I only dropped a star as the folding point cuts through a specific point which makes it hard if you want that exact point.
This was bought as a gift. I am advised it’s a really good cutter and is easy to use
This paper trimmer is an absolute game changer in the world of crafting. No “feathering” or ripping. The guide line is spot on and the trimmer itself is light weight and has rubber stoppers so in stays put when in use. I wish i had got this years ago!!!
Not the most robust trimmer, but it is effective for small projects and cuts precisely.
I wanted something smaller and easier to use at my desk as my guillotine is large, heavy and cumbersome! This exactly fits the bill. I can use it on a small corner of my (always cluttered) desk or if needed (frequently) on my lap. Accurate and easy to use. It took me a while to get the folds in the right place, but that was a pilot error issue not a problem with the item! Love it.
These Fiskar blades are not the cheapest but they are definitely the best. They are of great quality, cut a nice sharp edge, and last quite a long time.
This heavy duty paper trimmer is fantastic. It’s a bit expensive but will make up for it as the blade is self sharpening so no messing about with buying new ones because it is blunt. It can cut a slither of paper off. It’s quite big but fold in half.
Great cutter. Lightweight so easy to use and transport. Measurements in inches and centimetres. Make journals and greeting cards so will be in use continuously. Will need to order new blades so I have them in hand.

The trimmer is very well made & sturdy. It is easy to use & cuts beautifully. Although it is much bigger than most craft trimmers I found that when it is fully extended, it didn’t take up as much room as I thought it would.
I did a lot of research into p as per trimmers before purchase and this really is the creme de la creme of paper cutters!! Easy to use in cm or inches cut precisely snd perfectly every time, would not hesitate to recommend.

I have been looking for an easy to use trimmer for some time. I even looked at the very expensive ones! In the end, after reading personal reviews and watching vids, I decided to give this one a go. I have arthritic hands and I wanted a trimmer that would relieve the pressure on my hands and be easy to use. This fills the bill and I have been using it regularly ever since I purchased it. For me, it’s just right and I love the wire guide that ensures I can place my paper or card exactly where I want it cut. I’ve purchased the scorer attachment too, which also works well for me.
This is an excellent piece of kit. Yes there can be a problem for some as the measurements are missing between 5.5 and 6.5 inches but this did not matter to me as i cut my card differently to size after marking. Agreat cut with no feathering and straight edges.
Needed to replace my previous paper cutter, partly seduced by the name – a lot of my cutting tools are Fiskars and they haven’t let me down yet but mainly liked being able to buy replacement blades.
Really easy to use and its cut easily everything I’ve asked of it so far. I like that the measurements are repeated half way up as well as top and bottom.
I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for a new paper trimmer.
I can’t tell you how this trimmer will change my life,it sounds daft but I’m disabled with bad problems in my hands and arms too,due to muscle wastage,and I couldnt use my push down roller one with the round blade,and scissors are very painful too,but this takes such little pressure to trim my card and paper, I absolutely love it!thankyou fiskars and thankyou amazon xxx
I struggled to find the right blade for my Fiskars Paper Trimmer. This did the job fine on thin paper but not really good on heavier card stock I have noticed. Just took longer than Amazon expected to arrange.
The cutting blade is very accurate and always sharp as it is self sharpening.
Very useful for me I use my Friskar Cutter every day for all my paper & Card cutting.
Bought this trimmer because quite a few bloggers seemed to have it, it looks good and I liked the wire feature to show where the cutting line will be. It’s easy to use and I’ve been able to accurately cut paper to size. I am a little worried that I might catch the wire and break it, so am being careful.

I am a papercrafter and needed a cutter that would cut straight leaving smooth well-finished results. This certainly does that. It’s not heavy but is sturdy and the fold up feature makes it easy to store. However it does only cut straight so if different edges are needed this wouldn’t be a good purchase. Perfect for me though, I love it as I have issues with my hands.
I like that there is a wire on the cutting line enabling you to get a accurately ,cuting the paper so that you do not waste any of it.

Having previously purchased other Fiskars products, I felt comfortable that their portable paper guillotine would also be of a high standard. I certainly have not been disappointed in the quality of the item. I bought it to save time in cutting paper and then the subsequent trimming of the laminated final product. It manages to trim laminated papers with ease.
I do not use it to cut multiple paper sheets, although I have cut 3 paper pages simultaneously.
I really like the markings on the base which really help with alignment and the extendable ruler works well. The locking mechanism also helps prevent any paper slip during cutting.
I’ve been very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is tired of the time consuming process of cutting paper using scissors.

Best cutter, I have another brand which is similar. This one is more sturdy cutting blade stronger measurements very clear imperial and metric no more highlighting the measurements or trying to hold the paper in place while cutting. A must have …..
It’s a great cutter, blade stays sharp, really heavy duty and well made but…..yes there is a but…because of where the base plate folds in half you are missing the measurements between, 5 1/2 inches and 6 inches which can make card mats tricky to do if you want 5 3/4″ (between 14 cm and 15.5cm). It needs a ruler plate that goes over this gap to make it 100%. I’ll still use it but will hold onto my old trimmer for the in-between measurements!
I use this for making cards and crafts the last one’s I bought was in 2015 so lasted 5 years I use it on all my projects so I think definitely value for money x
Love the lock on it when you line up the paper to cut great item
Better than the smaller one, more steady, cuts well, it has a lock mechanism, I am not a huge cutter, trimmer, but it can cut a laminated paper smoothly it is a little pricey but once you buy you’ll be using it forever and all you have to do is change the blades. I don’t really give importance the numbers on the board, I use a paper as an example that’s how I measure, I lay the paper on top of the paper and I trim it according to that size.
Not used to anything like this before. Tried others of the same type and realised this is good on thin card but not so good for thicker card. You need a guillotine too for heavier work.
I had been looking to purchase a paper cutter for a while, I looked at guillotines but due to space limitations I decided on a glide along cutter again, although I had reservations as my previous one could not cut straight to save its life. This one however is perfect every time, the blade actually runs along a small wire so you can see exactly where the cut line is going to be which is so handy.
I did have issues with loading paper to begin with and thought it was a poor design, but it turns out it was user error, the blade area actually folds up so you can get your paper in easily then you close it down, line up and cut.
Guides on the base are really good for making sure you are lined up also.
So far I have cut a pile of 3 thick 280gsm sticker papers all at the same time and it had no issue.
100% would buy again, really good cutter.

This product was purchased after another cutter that was purchased proved to be totally useless it was purchased from another company luckily we were able to return the other item and after a lot of reading we picked this item, it’s proved to be perfect and does exactly what we needed and will cut without any trouble card upto 400 GSM thickness would recommend to any crafters

I have tried some diffwrent makes of paper cutters and fiskars are by far the best accurate paper cutters out there.
Nothing to twist or pull out of shape while cutting fiskars paper cutter does its job every time.
Only thing to buy are the blades and theyre in packs of two and not too expensive.

Why didn’t I buy this sooner? !? After trying all the rest this is by far the best, most accurate trimmer. Yes it’s more expensive than others but it is well worth the extra!
