I like this umbrella, just be aware that you need some sort of weight to put on the base, otherwise it will tip ove
No complaints. Got it during prime days. Durable and very easy to set up. Strongly recommend you get a weight to hold umbrella from tipping over at the base. At least a 100 lbs
We tried to put it together and didn’t really follow the instructions. Follow them-they work. Once it’s together it’s great. You need the weights for the base that are extra but it’s a great deal.
This umbrella is awesome-just remember to buy the base for it and you’ll be all set-it us easy to open and close and it provides a lot of shade. I LOVE IT!!!!
I was worried for the price of this umbrella that it would be cheap looking but it’s actually very nice. Just like the picture. The stand it connects to is intended to screw into a deck or something larger to give more stability with the wind. So either buy the weighted stand or expect to screw this one into something that is grounded. FYI I just got July of 2020 so I can’t comment how long it will last but it looks like it will last at least a few years? We’ll see.
These were just right for around the pool. All umbrellas seem to deteriorate in our strong sun, so why pay more.
The is Easy to install and operate, but you’ll need a method to hold the legs down firmly.
Great umbrella for the price. We bought the weights, hubby filled with sand and just put it down if there are big wind storms coming.
Only one complaint, the piece of cloth that attaches the umbrella to the pole does not have adequate stitching. I would definitely throw some more stiches in before attaching.

The new model of this is great. The first time I ordered it however I got the old model and it broke when there wasn’t even any wind. And after maybe a week of it being up it was already rusting. The new model is perfect though. It was definitely made a lot stronger with better quality.
A cantilever for only $75? Yes. Obviously it is not made with airframe grade material but seems well built for the price. Saving it from the AZ monsoon storms is the only thing I need to keep an eye on but this should last for at least a couple of seasons. Compared to $600 to $700 over priced umbrellas you can’t go wrong with this $75 purchase. Just saying. (Helps to have extra stepping stones and plywood laying around as well to avoid buying a base)
My favorite thing about it is how huge is, and that I can twist it to the other side if I want to. We use it on our pool and fix it on the floor so it can resist the wind, it has been awesome for this summer.
The plastic piece has bent on mine so now it will not hold one position.

The umbrella looks good and I slide it. However, the Winder stopped working during the first season. But I didn’t pay much for this, so I get What I pay for.
Easy to assemble put a few sandbags around it and you’re good on those windy days

The umbrella came in a couple of days, free shipping. I’m a person who hates putting things together. And I’m all thumbs. This was easy and took me about 10 minutes once I laid everything out. Keep in mind it doesn’t come with a base and you do need to order one. They provided great customer service.
This is a great umbrella, but you NEED something to weigh it down. You also would benefit from an extra set of hands. Instructions weren’t very descriptive and a little annoying. Overall though we’re happy with it.
It works great but only when there is no wind. If there is any breeze then it will tilt and move alot. A strong breeze or gust of wind will tip it over so be sure to anchor it very well.
Definitely covers the complete stock tank pool. Did not purchase base weights so I simply grabbed a pallet and a few deck screws. Works like a charm. Once I build the deck I’ll just screw it in place. Nice smooth operation.
Umbrella was king of easy to setup. The pictures I attached are of support rod that’s already breaking. I have had it up for a total of 5 minutes before the rob started to break. Beware of this cause the instructions I received say nothing about this.
Love this umbrella. I have it shading my hammock on my deck. Just wish the base was heavier so I didn’t have to use something else to weigh it down. The rest of the frame is very strong and sturdy and the umbrella covers a lot of area.
If it’s pictured with the base, it should be more evident that it’s not included. Very unstable without it and the base costs more than the umbrella. Disappointed.

My only complaint is the video shows the weighted insults that hold the umbrella down, that is sold separately, and costs the same amount as the umbrella or more. I ended up securing the bottom to my fence, so it’s fine. But do keep that in mind when purchasing!

Instead of asking my wife to stand there and hold it up while I shade, I improvised and used some heavy duty tent stakes. We’ll see if that works……

This needs a base, either four concrete flagstones, drill it down to your patio or like we did buy a Plastic sectional base and fill it with sand and water to give at least a 100kg base. Cost was 55 extra to use this.
It is big when installed and will certainly shield a small family from U/V when and if the British Summer ever occurs. It also needs a cover to protect it from the wind effect, which should have been included.

You can pay a lot more than this for a patio umbrella.
It has a large canopy (10feet) and a sturdy nice shaped frame.
The cross section legs are quite rigid and four supplied bolts fix them and a holding bracket in place.
There are holes for ground spikes but you might want to purchase a weight?
I’ve seen an umbrella weight for around 20 I also have some sandbags.
I would have preferred a better base but like I say, you can pay a lot more for extra bells and whistles.
The rest of the umbrella is very good. A strong tubular frame and good cloth parasol.
Able to adjust reach and height and can be held rigid see my photograph.

This is an all around made umbrella that is positively worth the cost (99 at season of audit).
There’s some gathering yet once done it’s not difficult to work and can be raised/brought down by anybody. The parasol part is waterproof and gives great sun security. If not for needing to keep everything perfect and not risking it blowing around, you could leave it up short-term or in the downpour without issue.
There’s a four-legged stand that truly needs some weight on it before you can utilize it. I’ve utilize a gazebo weight pack with 15kg of water bottles on the focal shaft, however, it actually needs a touch more, like the exceptional loads (which are costly) or a few 18″ substantial clearing pieces. More is always better, as the parasol is enormous and the breeze truly can move it about.

I looked at an umbrella similar to this last year and found the price prohibitive. It was hundreds of pounds. When I was offered this through the Vine programme, it was more expensive than the current 99, which I consider a bargain. Please bear in mind that you will need weights for the base if there’s any breeze. It’s very stable, but it’s huge. The umbrella section is around 10feet and it stands over 7 feet in height.
It comes with instructions which are easy to follow and the metal seems well finished off. There are no rough edges or dents. The cantilever mechanism is amazing. I sprayed it with a small squirt of silicon spray which I find helps keep moisture and dust out and things work smoothly. The same spray I use on the hinges and locks of double glazed windows. The canvas fabric seems very strong and again it’s perfectly made.
It’s an outstanding item, particularly at this price and I’m delighted. Happy to recommend.

If it wasn’t for wanting to keep it all clean and not chancing it blowing around, you could leave it up overnight or in the rain without issue.

I’ve use a gazebo weight bag with 15kg of water bottles on the central shaft, but it really needs a bit more, such as the special weights (which are expensive) or a couple of 18″ concrete paving slabs. The more the merrier, as the parasol is large and the wind really can shift it about.
It’s a good buy and can cover a 4-seater table if the sun is overhead.
This parasol is so much bette than our old one as the material used is so much thicker.
The base goes together very easily with 4 screws and washers, the upright has extra corner bracing and the spines on the umbrella itself are very sturdy.
It took around 10minutes for myself to set up and it was so simple, the added centre locating pin when expanding helps it locate correctly and it has and added velcro strap to stop it blowing around.

10 ft is quite a large area of shade when the sun is out and the temperature is high, this umbrella is large enough too cover a good set of table and chairs when having a bbq in the garden, or any seating area
The frame is well manufactured and all the adjustable parts look solid and durable
It was very easy to assemble and operate after reading the instructions, the only problem is the stability! You definitely need weights on the base ( not included or mentioned ) but You don’t need to buy anything special, I will probably get 4 concrete slabs and lay on the base to stop it going over
The canvas seems to have a good UPF 50+ protection from the sun, and also waterproof
I have assembled it in the garden and it works fine , it was a bit windy so definitely need the weight on the base

Material is of high quality. East to ensemble and install, very beautiful, good for garden use. Recommend to everyone.
For me I put all this together all by myself a woman. The instructions did come with it but I found the video even more helpful confirming that I read the instructions correctly.
Yes once the umbrella attached is heavy to carry. But I put it in its side to connect the two pieces together and then kind of just pushed it out to the balcony.
Once I filled the water in each base I just rolled them out.

That aside, this parasol is pretty good really. Easy enough to assemble, I followed the simple instructions and did it by myself so it can’t be that hard!
Operation is simple enough too. You can adjust the slider arm on the main upright pole to adjust the height and angle of it, and the parasol itself is wound in & out using a windy handle which makes it quite easy to operate on your own. I did find that parasol canopy sometimes pressed against the upright pole depending on how you set it, but hopefully that won’t cause too much trouble during use.
The canopy is quite large too, so very useful in the corner of our garden where we have a seating area sun-trap in the summer, and this will keep us nicely shaded.
Overall for the cost of less than 130 at the time of this review it’s a good price and a good parasol comparing it to others on the market. Overall rather pleased with it! Bring on the summer!

It is a really nice umbrella it provides a lot of shade when opened up however it was a little difficult for me to put together because it came with no instructions. Other than that I think it’s a very nice umbrella
A few reviews mention the need to buy the additional base. I opted to sink a slightly smaller diameter pole in the ground several feet down, repack the soil and then slide the slightly larger diameter umbrella base over it for upright support. I suppose you could also add some cement in the hole for extra stability similar to a fence post. Worked great for me. Your results, could, of course, be different depending on soil conditions at your home.
Replaced our old one. This one is nit as sturdy but was cheaper. Yeah it’s a good deal
It needs extra weights added, and yes it stays in the wind. So that needs securing too. But it creates shade that I was looking for and I was outside more often this summer.

The umbrella is a very good product. The base is not stable and needs to be weighed down or have heavy large squares put in between to base poles. A set of directions and sizes for those weighted plates would be helpful.

Note: We are using it on a wooden deck that I am willing to drill into so I was pleasantly surprised to see holes in the stand and I thought to run lag bolts through to the wood deck. I didn’t need to use a sand weight!

Giving it four stars because the base is wobbly, and needs to be weighed down.
The umbrella is wide and provide a lot of shade. The base is kinda weak and definitely need weight to keep it steady.
It wasn’t difficult to assemble, but put two people on the job. It’s easy to operate. The canopy is large enough to shade a large area. I recommend getting a cover if you’re living with any extremes in weather – hello Northeast with scorching summer sun and torrential downpours on many an afternoon.
This patio umbrella looks great in our backyard! Very easy to assemble. Love the cherry color! It has been outside for a while and still sturdy. Highly recommend to get a base weight just in case of strong wind. The direction of the umbrella can be easily adjusted. Overall, worth the money spent.
I know you get what you pay for, I like it but it doesn’t take much of a breeze to move the umbrella around. May try some bungy cords. The base definitely needs weighted down or braced but I knew that going in. Overall I’m happy but it works a lot better on a very calm day.
Very easy to put together.. but I see it swivelling in the wind where the stem meets the base. Have to check that.. if I cant fix that, its a no-go for me..
This umbrella is awesome! Set up was easy by myself. You just have to know how to angle and lean it to attach the umbrella pieces together. Definitely needs the weight. I filled a 100 lb umbrella weight bag with sand and gravel. I also added an extra 50lb sandbag on top. But it lasted fully opened throughout the rain storm all night! Winds got up to 20mph and it’s still standing strong! I’m very pleased. The fabric seems thicker too. I saw a review about them arriving with holes. So I checked mine before I fully assembled it. All good.
