Furbo Dog Camera: Full HD Wifi Pet Camera with 2-Way-Audio, Treat Tossing, Night Vision and Barking Alerts, Designed for Dogs, Works with Amazon Alexa (As Seen On Paul O'Grady – For the Love of Dogs)
I don’t really know why they’ve called it a dog thing because this is clearly a cat thing!(lol) So I got it so I can keep an eye on them when I’m away from the house and feeding them with an automatic feeder, one of my cats is not really motivated by food the other one eats all the food, so it’s going to be tricky to ensure they both get fed. It was really easy to set up and seems to work consistently when I got it in the right place for wifi. The cats are interested in it and I got some really funny images of them going upto it and sniffing it (it saves any movement) I like the option to review the movement it makes for funny watching I also like that I can talk to them, they really respond to the sound of my voice! More than the pre-recorded message. Takes regular cat biscuits just fine, does seem to run out pretty quick!!
We love this product for peace of mind, definitely recommend, the night vision is good when there is movement but not when there isn’t so you can’t just look in and see them sleeping but that’s not a problem for us
Overall, very happy with it. The video and sound quality are good and the connection to mobile phone is good too. The only tricky part is that we have two dogs, so throwing them a treat from it just causes arguments!
Great picture quality
Gives reassurance to both dog and owner
Suitable for puppies and older dogs
Keeps them calm
Alerts you to them being upset before the get themselves into a state that they are constant howling
You can keep a check on them even from another part of the house
eat dispenser is good, works well. speaker to talk to your dog could be a bit more clear. camera is really good. barking monitor is also helpful, and very accurate. one drawback is that the camera is stationary. good idea if you are worried about your dog being alone.

We love this product, picture is brilliant and sound is clear. Night vision is fantastic and I love the treat tossing feature. We upgraded to the dog nanny it its definitely worth the extra.
I love my furbo it gives me peace of mind when im at work that i can speak to my dog and stop him from barking just by hearing my voice, i know a dog barking can lead to problems with neighbours and can lead onto other problems with courts etc, so its a massive reassurance to me to be able to interact with my dogwhen im not home. I also just love to take a perk at him to see what he’s doing, he’s usually curled up on the sofa and makes me smile.
We love our furbo. It’s intuitive and there’s a handy chat service to help with any issues like reconnecting to the internet when you move house. Our dogs soon picked up that the treats come from the furbo and I often find them sat there waiting!! It’s great for checking in on my cleaner too haha!

We bought this before we went on holiday and wanted to be able to see our cats. It’s advertised as a dog product but works fine with cats.
Pros:
– great wide angle camera with ability to change quality – 1080, 720 etc.
– fun mechanism to ‘fire’ food at your pets
– sealed top means you can’t smell food inside
– talk to your pets!
– comfort when you’re away from your pets
Cons:
– maybe add a cat function on the app
– power cable could be a bit longer (not really an issue)
– our cats have knocked it over and the lid comes off
– would be good to be able to hear your pets when you speak to them
The cons are minor in an otherwise great product. A bit pricey though.

On the Pricey side for what is it but does the job and it is great to be able to talk to your pup and toss treats. The only negative is you cannot remotely move the camera up/down etc. Picture quality good and we have invested in the yearly subscription to furbo dog nanny which has additional features and is great!

This is obviously most used for when pets are home alone. We have been using it slightly differently. We have a new puppy and have placed it overlooking her den area. This way we can wake up at regular intervals through the night and check to see if she is awake via the Furbo from the comfort of our bed, rather than going downstairs and waking her up unnecessarily. This product has been a life/sleep saver!
I use this every time I go out to make sure my dog and cats are okay and to give them a treat. I really like the treat dispenser, it makes a noise so the animals know treats are coming and it throws them within a metre of where I have the Furbo. It is quite pricey but I think it is worth it, the picture quality is fantastic and the app is easy to use; there was an update just a few days ago which made the nighttime pictures even better quality which was great.

Dog hates it! Don’t just put it out and think your dog is going to be ok with it. It makes a noise that freaks my dog out each time you throw a treat.
Found it’s better to install the item and leave it a week and go from there. Introduce it very slowly

It is worth every penny. Easy to set up, don’t let anyone put you off by saying the set up is difficult.
The only time I have ever had an issue with this in the 18 months I have has it is when my internet service was down.
Treats button and the ability to record your voice is smashing.
Big hit, everyone in the family lives to log in to the app and interact with our puppy dog. Nice to check in when at work. Great camera quality including night vision.
Works very well. The speaker enables me to speak to my dog and give commands. The treat function works well. It has helped him to be more comfortable on his own if I have to pop out and I feel better about leaving him.
Reassuring to be able to see what Sky is up to when we’re all out, handy to be able to throw treats from the machine – probably my favourite aspect. Fabulous it will send barking alerts, where you can just log on and see what it’s all about, then send commands through the two way to settings to settle her.
Only two faults… 1. you can’t remotely tilt the camera down. 2. It’s quite expensive compared to other brands.
In saying that it was super easy to set up and get the app synced. The night vision is flawless and the video is super clear, even while I’m at work.
You can even personalise the message before a treat is thrown instead of the default – well done on that.
I have this as my main camera and I’m going to get a second cheaper one.

Great concept. It works really well. The only problem is if my wife connects and leaves the app running then I cannot connect. It should log one user out when the app is closed.
The furbo is great although it has one major negative which is you cannot have more than one furbo open at the same time. I bought 1 for the living room and 1 for the bedroom but you have to have separate login for both and can’t have both open at the same time.
Would be great to be able to open both at the same time using one email address and login and from there have the option to view camera setup in different rooms. Development request I’m guessing
An absolute incredible little gadget. Bought as an Xmas present and it’s hilarious. You can watch your fur babies get confused when they hear their name being shouted but soon realise that the little noise it makes they are going to be getting treats their way.
The night vision is unbelievable and the wide angled camera captures the whole room. Loved i
I bought the Furbo ahead of the arrival of my 2 puppers. It has been brilliant! The first morning I was back to work after getting them it really put my mind at easy knowing I could look in on them at any stage. They especially love the treat toss function! When they hear the noise it makes ahead of tossing the treats they get very excited! An absolute essential for any doggo owners 🙂
Dislike: to use two Furbo Cameras in the same house, you have to logout from one email account and login with a completely different email account to be able to check the second camera which is located in another room but in the same house. One account for each camera is not user friendly at all. Why we cannot log in with only one account and then swap camera view?? It would be nice if Furgo can work on this matter. Otherwise, I am very happy with the quality of my two cameras.
I purchased the Turbo for the dogs crimbo present when it was at a great price deal. Only tested it out over a period of a few days so far but at up was easy, performance on our WiFi at home is great and the two dogs seem to love it. I will update the post when we have more experience using it, but I have been very impressed so far. Okay expensive but the treat riding is a great feature over our previous dog cam which was starting to give up the ghost.
My woofers love this and respond to it. Camera quality is good. Every feature works well. I bought it for my husband so he can see the dogs while at work. He loves i
We read all the reviews for the Furbo and was slightly worried about the negative ones, but we did it anyway and I’ve got to say that its the greatest thing we’ve bought for our dog. We followed the instructions to the letter, it’s quite hard when you’re excited to see it work! It was set up in less than 3 minutes and works perfectly. Our dog sits looking at it waiting for the next trea
This has been great for me. Generally works unless the WiFi I’m hooked up to is poor (not the camera’s fault). You just need to be careful that you pick treats that don’t stick together in the heat because the camera can’t throw them out then.
Easy to set up and perfect for the job. Dog was barking his bonce off after many months of having not done so. I’d upped his exercise (working cocker, so was already on minimum 2hrs, before we upped it), but that wasn’t helping. Turns out he wanted to ‘play’.
After just a week, each time I got an alert, I’d log in and find a silent dog, nose to camera, wagging his tail. So now I send him on fetch errands or give him action commands and I vary the number of them so he doesn’t know when treats are coming. One bored dog has gone from annoying the neighbours daily to being very happy and mentally stimulated with the odd bark here and there.
Furbo is great for seeing my dogs are doing during the day which makes me feel at ease. I don’t use the treat function really as I have 2 dogs so worry they’d fight over them. The voice function is great too!
The camera quality is excellent, including the night vision and the other features such as being able to speak to your dog, bark alerts and tossing treats are very useful.
I have the camera on a kitchen worktop and it captures the whole room brilliantly. It wouldn’t work well on the floor as the camera is angled downwards and you can’t change the camera position (but as long as it is placed higher up this is no problem!).
The app that controls the camera can be a bit glitchy at times…the camera is excellent but I would have expected a more sophisticated app for the price.
One REALLY annoying thing is that the Furbo Dog Nanny feature is not available in the UK! This is something that USA customers can subscribe to (which is also annoying to have to pay extra for additional features as the camera is already the most expensive on the market!) and get extra benefits such as movement alerts, people alerts, doggy diary and the dog selfie feature. I reallyyyyy wanted the additional alerts and doggy diary feature as I’m working through separation anxiety and wanted to have a record of what’s happening each day. Instead I have to keep opening up the app throughout the day to check in with what’s going on, which isn’t really what I was hoping for.
This is so useful. Can check in at anytime to see what they are up to. I love the fact you can talk to them as well as throw treats. I would highly recommend this camera. It is easy to set up and easy to use..
Bought the furbo so as I could check on my two little dogs when I went out.
It’s fantastic as it alerts me when either dog is barking and I then have a look to see what is happening – the picture quality is great and I can talk to my dogs and they sit down and settle – usually barking at someone using ours or both neighbors gravel drives. I love the way I can send a treat to reward their good behaviour -would definitely recommend
It’s good wen I’m at work I can pop in and make sure my pooch is OK and I can also use it as a spy cam on anyone else in the room, treat thrower, you have to make sure their not too big else they get stuck and if not heavy enough don’t get thrown ou
Installation: Easy
Design: Looks great (sits on a sideboard in the Kitchen)
Capacity: Excellent for certain “waxy” treats
Operation: My granny can use it!
Customer Experience: Dogs love it and gaze longingly for a treat or simple rest assurance. It’s a 2-way street, I can see what they are up to and they get to interact with any family member, anytime.
Operation: Faultless – been installed for 2 months and in constant use without any issues at all.
Image quality: Excellent wide angle view
Great product but some problems occur with Bluetooth coonection. It is a little hit and miss when connecting but that may be our own connection issues rather than the Furbo.
Every now and again, our Boston Terrier leaves us a wee “message” in the kitchen (‘wee’ being the operative word!). Particularly if he’s left home alone for a longer than usual period. I’d been looking for something that: a) would help keep an eye of Fred and b) would reward good behaviour. The Furbo is it! We’ve had it up and running since Christmas Day and it’s been fantastic! Great picture and sound quality and no problems tossing treats. There’s a great Furbo VIP Facebook community if you have any doubts that your’e doing something wrong, or the device isn’t functioning as you’d expected. Yeah, the price is a little steep, however, the quality is there, the technology is amazing and you can’t really put a price on peace of mind. Highly recommended!

I didn’t use the product too much yet however sometimes the treat dispenser doesn’t work properly sometimes and the camera can be good however all depends about your Internet connection and it’s really hard to have such a great Internet connection everywhere even at home to support the camera quality.
My dog seems to want to play with furbo at home when I am at home but when I leave he is not really impressed with furbo. So he wants to play with me not without me in the house…but let’s try for more time and at least I can see him.

Amazing!!! I can check to see if my dog is ok. Talk to her is she bark. Feed her treats. Take photos and videos of her at home while I’m at work. Very HAPP! Consider a 2nd Furbo, for down stairs.
After I’d read some of the negative reviews I started to panic a bit, but this product fantastic!
It arrived next day and was super easy to set up, all you have to do is download the app and connect it to your WiFi.
There’s a lot of negative comments about the treat dispenser, but I realised puppy kibble works great, but you just need to make sure it’s not the really oily sticky stuff (which is basically just physics). My pup prefers the sticky kibble, so I mixed some of the drier stuff in which stopped it getting stuck.
The image is great and (I don’t know if there’s been some sort of update), but the sound quality is fine with no scary sounds.
The sound it makes before it gives a treat really gets his attention and seemed to work better than a recorded message. He’s not scared by whirring sound of the dispenser mechanism, but I guess some dogs might be.
He’s not as excited about hearing my voice as he is when I arrive home, but maybe this will come in time.
It is quite pricey, this is my main reservation, but I guess gopros are too and this has the added feature of the treats.
But, just 2 days after we bought it, what we thought was a minor medical condition worsened and I started reciving text messages to say he was barking (actually he was crying ). I couldn’t get to him, but I could keep a check on him, keep talking to him and eventually decided to send in a relative to take him to the vets. It was so traumatic seeing him like that, but his suffering was greatly reduced because I could actually hear and see hi, which I’m so grateful fo
I was worried after reading the reviews but so far my Furbo has worked properly, I love its features, I have never had any issues with the connection, my dog is already used to it so it comes to the front of the cam everything I call it, it has given me peace of mind!
This camera treat tossing unit is fantastic, I can check in on my blind dog any time. The barking alert lets me know he may be distressed
It has been a game changer and would recommend it to any dog owne
Great product, just wish it would also let you hear what’s happening!
The bark alert also tends to go off quiet frequently if near to a television or other noise. However, it works really well and has a great app! My dog seems to believe someone is coming to the house when she hears it go! However it comes with training information to get your animal used to it! The family loves it- I just would like to also be able to hear from my end what’s happening.

Day 2 and Furbo is flying! I found set up a doddle, I plugged it in and then sat in the sunshine downloading the app. Up and running in about 3 mins.
My poodle is loving it, he’s already sitting when he hears the alert waiting for the treats.
It definitely tosses treats better if they are light (yeah basic physics I know…) but the kibble works well and the ‘meaty treats’ just rolled out of the machine and went nowhere.
I got Furbo on offer, it’s still quite pricey but then it is very stylish and has given me peace of mind. Happy dog, happy me so good value and I have already recommended to friends at work today.

I only got it yesterday and so far its not bad. It was really easy to set up. I did have to try a couple of different treats (my puppy didn’t seem to mind!) to find ones that worked each time. The image was really clear and the treat dispenser worked a treat (pun most definitely intended!) The night vision was better than I expected!
I do have a couple of minor issues (so minor that they only cost 1 star)
I have to go thru the set up process whenever I take the Furbo away from home. It would be great if it could remember certain WiFi networks.
I have just tried to access the camera from work, but my phone cannot connect.
Lastly, it would be great to be able to adjust the camera tilt. Not a massive issue, I will have to put it a little higher.
Love this! Great for keeping an eye on barky! Most recent update seems to have sorted the issues we were having with the 2 way mic. Picture is fabulous, causing no end of delight with everyone who snatches your phone to feed the dog!
Apart from a tricky setup, it works quite well. The issue I had with the setup could have been avoided if I had read the quick start guide instead of just guessing what to do. The dog got used to in relatively quickly and usually comes running when she hears it activating. Customer service was very quick to respond. Some advanced features such as person detection are region locked but I have been told that these features will eventually become available in all regions.

Update- after a lot of messing with the wireless router Furbo is working fine now. To be fair to Furbo their customer services offered a replacement even though I was late to complain which is very decent of them too. Here was original review, as you can see I was very frustrated and it was all down to the proximity to the router. I can only get it to connect probably one time in every 40 tries. You have to unplug it then plug it back in again….. which you can’t do when you are not at home …… which is what you buy it for in the first place. When working it is great, but it never works and is extremely frustrating.
I have only had this a day so I will update should I encounter any flaws. I wanted this for my own peace of mind more than anything, as my dog is generally fine with me leaving the house.
The set-up I found to be extremely easy. Plug in the Furbo and connect to your router through the Furbo app and you’re good to go.
As I don’t trust my dog not to knock it over if within reach I set it up on a shelf in the corner of the room, which works perfectly as I can see most of the room from there and when it shoots out treats they land where he can get to them. I didn’t have any round treats as suggested, but I found it works with Feelwells training treats so I’ll just stick with that.
I had to turn off the barking alert as I found it was quite sensitive, as my husky likes to have a tantrum when I leave so his howling made it so I had 15 bark alerts after only being gone a short while.
The cable connected to the Furbo is 2 metres long, which is a good length to reach from the shelf to the plug socket. Though it is just your standard micro USB cable, so if you required longer then it would be easy enough to switch with another one.
I gave it a quick test today when I had to go visit my mum’s house, so have only tried it when I have been connected to wifi and not over 4g, so I have yet to see how good it is with that. But when connected to wifi on my phone I found the picture to be clear and my dog seemed to hear me just fine. He wasn’t in the room with the Furbo when I checked in on him but he soon came running when I called. He was a bit confused but at least it didn’t freak him out. He especially liked it when his new robot mummy pinged treats at him. It has a little treat icon on the app that you swipe to ping treats, which is quite fun.
All in all I think it, although pricey, is a worthwhile gadget if like me you get withdrawals after being away from your furkid too long and are paranoid about silly things you think will hurt him if you’re away too long. Worth it for the peace of mind and also lots of fun 🙂
I got this for my mum and dad! It’s sooo much fun! You can watch in and talk to the dog and throw treats!
It is on the expensive side and it does crash from time to time so you need to log out and log in again.
This is without a doubt worth every penny!! We were worried about introducing our dog to life outside his crate and not being able to keep an eye on him and furbo has taken so much of the anxiety away. It’s also great to be able to check up on him whilst we are at work or know when he’s back from the dog walkers!!!
We use Attu Dog food and it works great, it does release a few at a time but he has fun sniffing them out so happy with that.
Set up was easy and quick- took less than 5 mins.
The video quality is good but not amazing esp on zoom but it’s certainly good enough to see what’s going on. Would 100% recommend and will be doing so to my friend getting a puppy! It also looks great unlike a lot of cameras so I honestly can’t fault it!!
Would be great on future models to see improved video quality and ability to swivel camera – although this is wide it is possible for the dog to be out of shot.
Fantastic product. Can keep an eye on dogs when they have to be left at home. Can talk to them and also throw a treat to them. At the same time I can take a picture/video them.
Easy set up. I did it whilst eating lunch!
At first both chihuahuas were terrified of it, and barked. One of them hid and refused to come out. My fault, I should’ve watched the training video!
Once I’d watched the video, and followed its recommendations, things improved. The mother chihuahua very quickly got the idea, and got a very cold bum by sitting motionless on the cold tiles of our hallway waiting for the Furbo to perform. A couple of times I thought the camera was stuck, and went to look, only to discover that it was the dog that was stuck! By the end of the afternoon the eight month old pup, who is more nervous than his mother, was beginning to work it out. Although he ran away when the noise started, he pretty soon ran back to hunt for treats.
We went out in the evening and were able to test the Furbo properly. It worked really well. There was one problem though. Both little chihuahuas had such full tummies they spent the evening asleep in their bed where we couldn’t see them. Next time we are out we will put the Furbo in a different position!
My husband and I love this product because it gives us peace of mind when we are away from our newly rescued dog and 10 week old puppy. Watching them go after treats is highly amusing and the wide angle camera lens allows us see the majority of the room. The 4 stars is because of the hefty price tag and I would prefer a white lid. It would be great to have a camera that could move around (look left/right/up/down) on demand and zoom in & out.
Really great camera for day and night vision, wide angle lense and option to toss out a treat !!!
Audio section is very sensitive and may scare dog sometimes and app can be unpredictable but over all well worth it to have peace of mind when your not there with your friend !
We love our Furbo, clear picture, so cool to be able to toss a treat to your dog! Brilliant for home security and we got a brilliant deal in the Amazon flash sale!
I bought this to give myself some peace of mind while I am away from home. It definitely does that. My dogs recognise when it is in use as the light changes from yellow to blue (colours dogs can see). They usually look up immediately when I turn it on to watch them, even if I don’t activate the microphone or dispense any treats. They quickly learned to recognise the noise it makes to signal that treats are coming and come to get them very eagerly. They also seem to recognise my voice when I speak to them through the microphone and will obey commands I give them.
The night vision camera is great for low light conditions and often gives a clearer view than the normal camera, even during the day.
The Furbo takes their regular kibble as well as various different brands of treats, so long as they are in small pieces. The unit looks easy to clean and the mechanism hasn’t jammed once after dispensing treats hundreds of times now.
I love that I can take photos and videos of my dogs and some of the things they get up to when they think I can’t see them. I just wish I could show them the photo evidence of them caught sitting on the sofa!
The barking alerts work well. They are sent promptly and let me check in and decide if I want to speak to the dogs or dispense treats to distract them. It ignores the gruff and growly noises my dogs make when they are just playing nicely together and only picks up and alerts me to a “genuine” bark.
Negative points:
It took a while to get this set up properly as the Furbo unit wouldn’t maintain a good connection with my router despite it being in direct line of sight and only about three metres away. My phone showed a full wifi signal where I had located the Furbo. The customer services team were excellent. Very helpful and prompt with their replies. After a firmware update and then resetting the Furbo and connecting again it has been much better. I bought a wifi signal booster hoping that would give me 100% reliability for the connection. It is still a bit unstable, but is now good about 95% of the time.
At first I could only use the app while I was also at home and using wifi (it wouldn’t connect using mobile data at all – I am on EE). This was a bit pointless. However, after the firmware update and resetting the unit, it now connects perfectly over mobile data so I can keep an eye on my dogs while I am away from home.
My dogs would destroy the Furbo unit if they could reach it to get to the treats inside, so I have placed it on a high bookcase. This works well but would be vastly improved if it were possible to tilt the camera downwards. As it is, I have had to tip the whole unit forwards and wedge a block under the base so that it gives a good view of the room. The wide angle is great, but when it is located up as high as I need to have it, I can’t see the floor (which is where my dogs are most of the time – or at least, where they are supposed to be but the sofa is obviously so much more comfortable!) without tipping it forwards. With the Furbo unit in this tilted position it is a little bit unstable and doesn’t fire the treats out so well. It still does, but they tend to just spill or dribble out rather than shoot forwards as they do when it is sitting level. It also gives out far more treats in this tilted position so I am going through them too quickly. As it is not possible to fill the unit with many treats to begin with, this is a problem.
There is a slight delay on the camera so it is not ideal for talking to the dogs and timing my words to their behaviour and reactions, but the delay is only about a second so it is not a major issue.
Overall, I absolutely love my Furbo. It was expensive but the peace of mind is has given me on the occasions I have needed to leave my dogs at home has been worth it. One dog in particular suffers from separation anxiety and she seems to take comfort from hearing my voice occasionally. Of course, I can’t be sure she recognises it is me speaking, but she recognises her name and some basic commands so it distracts her from whatever she is doing or feeling for a few moments at least.
Even with my few criticisms, I would still give this 5 stars.
This product is great for keeping an eye on my new puppy when I am not home. He particularly enjoys the treat feature! It would be great if it was possible to use the Furbo on more than one device, as this is un-necessarily restrictive in my view and is the only downside for what is otherwise a fantastic product!
Super easy to set up. Just plugged it in and followed some simple instructions on the app, was set up in no time.
We love how the furbo looks and blends in well with the home.
The video quality is pretty good, and wide angle so you can see most of the room if you put it in the corner.
The app itself is very easy to use, quite self explanatory. Our family is logged into the same account, and after testing it seems like you can all be logged in at the same time to see the footage.
Treat throwing is great, really launches it straight out.
Only thing I think could be improved is the audio quality. It’s not the best, and picks up maybe too much of the background noise. When there’s anything too loud going on it just comes back with the same loud feedback noise. That’s my only issue with it, otherwise would give 5 stars
My dogs and I are really enjoying Furbo. It works brilliantly. Clear video, sound quality, treat giving..all fantastic. The only criticism I have is that I wish the recorded message played first then fired the treats rather than it happening at the same time.
It’s super easy to setup, connects great, the video quality is great, once you find the right treats, the feeding is brilliant. I was worried about spending this much, but the peace of mind it gives you when you have to leave your puppy at home is worth every penny.
Really happy with i
I had concerns about buying this dog cam after reading the reviews, and now I can say from personal experience that there can be some issues. So why the 5 stars? Well, because the Customer Support is second to none…and I love the Furbo!
We did have some issues setting it up initially as it didn’t seem to want to connect to the wifi…but patience is required. It does connect, just seems to need a little time (up to an hour) to accept this new wifi relationship. In any case, just call/message Support and they will sort it out for you if the issue persists.
Several reviews complain that strong wifi reception is required. Well, while strong wifi is obviously preferable, ours works very well with just 2-3 bars of wifi, so it doesn’t need to be super strong. Ok, occasionally the connection drops but if it bothered me that much I would just get a wifi booster for that room. Can’t fault the product for that.
The treat dispenser feature is great fun, and works perfectly as long as you use non-sticky smallish sized treats. Just experiment with different treats until you find the ones that work best for you. We just use our dog’s kibble and about 5 shoot out at once but that’s fun to watch her finding them all. They can shoot about 4 foot across the room so position your Furbo carefully. We did have an issue with treats sticking at first (used incompatible treats) and I was too rough with poking my fingers inside the mechanism and I dislodged a white plastic disc which took me a long time to put back in place. This disc has a small groove around the rim which needs to be perfectly aligned on the Furbo mechanism and it is incredibly fiddly to get back in place. But lesson learned – just be gentle with the Furbo’s insides. And don’t blame the Furbo if this disc becomes dislodged and the treat dispenser function stops working (like some reviewers have done) because it doesn’t fall out all by itself.
The camera/video quality is brilliant, and I love the night vision feature! The bark alert to the phone is also excellent, though there is a fractional time delay. The audio from phone to the Furbo didn’t work so well for my dog at first – I don’t think she recognised my voice, but over time she seems to have got used to it (and will now ‘Quiet’ in middle of the night when I can’t be bothered to get up to tell her off).
We did have a problem with the audio coming from the Furbo initially – sounded like a bad case of gurgling water pipes, but Support asked me to send them a video, which I did, and they promptly replaced the unit. Honestly can’t ask for better service than that! Oh, and don’t try to listen to the Furbo on your phone while you’re close to the Furbo unit as it causes screeching feedback interference.
We recently got a new puppy and I would be afraid to go out if I couldn’t check up on her occasionally. It’s so reassuring to see her sleeping peacefully (or just not chewing the furniture) and now I can relax and enjoy socialising away from the house.
Love the Furbo – don’t know how I would manage without it!!
Furbo was proven to be one of the best gadgets I ever bought for my dog! Sometimes, she is suffering from seperation anxiety and no matter how hard I worked with her on that matter, there were always times when I would return and I would find something destroyed. Now, with furbo I can enjoy my time away simply by having a look at the app and correcting any unwanted behavior through the mic! The treat tosser is so much fun for everyone and I really do notice that she is much calmer since we bought Furbo. The night vision function is also definitely worth it! Apart from a couple of seconds delay in real time video and the fact that it is still a bit choppy sometimes (especially when my dog is moving fast) I would definitely recommend it!
I have 2 new rescue dogs and wanted a way to make sure they were doing ok when I couldn’t be with them. This works a treat and with the auto-switching night mode I can check they have gone to sleep at night without disturbing them. I’ll work up to treat dispensing once they are settled. 🙂
Yes I know this is really intended for dogs, but we have two house rabbits and so seemed worth a try. Package arrived, it is beautifully packed – think Apple quality here. Had expected the set up to be a nightmare, but good first impressions on the app, and after a few nervous waits, the thing linked up to the home wifi, and after a few more waits, the lights on the unit showed it was ready. Worked first time. Through the app, the video is really pin sharp, the view is wide angle but you can zoom right in and see what the little ones are up to. Slight (< 1 second) time delay (not an issue), and no colour correction so the picture is quite golden in the evening with the house lights on. The audio is clear both ways (just a fun thing to do in our case as rabbits don't bark - house rabbits really don't make good guard dogs!!). Treat throwing works surprisingly well - rabbit food is quite small so the rabbits get a random 2-8 pieces a shot, a bit variable but rewarding to see the bunnies scampering around after them! Needs filling up occasionally, how often depends on how many throws! Overall, the unit is well engineered, looks really good, sits quietly in the corner, and bursts into life on demand. The app is very well written, fun to use, very clear, works well. Expensive, but a heap of fun!

Perfect for a piece of mind at night or when you are out with alerts to your phone if he barks! Defo recommend

Such a clever idea. Quite expensive but worth it just to watch puppy when he doesn’t know you can see him!

Great pet camera! Good quality video and the alerting system is well worth it. amazing to see what pets actually get up to!
Big hit, everyone in the family lives to log in to the app and interact with our puppy dog. Nice to check in when at work. Great camera quality including night vision.
Our dog loves the treat toss functio
Brilliant camera and picture but my dog is terrified of it.
This camera is great.

Loved i
This is a great bit of tech. If you have a dog I highly recommend getting this
Such a brilliant idea. So easy to set up. Just started using it, really hope it helps settle my dog when I’m at work
I bought the Furbo ahead of the arrival of my 2 puppers. It has been brilliant! The first morning I was back to work after getting them it really put my mind at easy knowing I could look in on them at any stage. They especially love the treat toss function! When they hear the noise it makes ahead of tossing the treats they get very excited! An absolute essential for any doggo owners 🙂
Very Good picture far away my mobile phone around 10 miles
He loves i
Is very expensive but easy to set up and use. Can watch dogs when not in and can even give them a treat.
Expensive, but does a good job.
I’ve recommended to friends that have also bought them
My pup and I love the Furbo..love the idea I can see what she is upto..and if restless the treat changes the mood.
Love everything about it.
This has been great for me. Generally works unless the WiFi I’m hooked up to is poor (not the camera’s fault). You just need to be careful that you pick treats that don’t stick together in the heat because the camera can’t throw them out then.
I like that I can check what she does when i am not there!
Worth every penny!
Love this I can keep an eye on my Pooch while at work.
I like being able to check on my dogs while I’m at work
Installation: Easy
Design: Looks great (sits on a sideboard in the Kitchen)
Capacity: Excellent for certain “waxy” treats
Operation: My granny can use it!
Customer Experience: Dogs love it and gaze longingly for a treat or simple rest assurance. It’s a 2-way street, I can see what they are up to and they get to interact with any family member, anytime.
Operation: Faultless – been installed for 2 months and in constant use without any issues at all.
Image quality: Excellent wide angle view
eally easy to setup, works as described so far. picture quality is very good, sound is a bit muffled but the dog gets it ok!
Requires a fair amount of bandwidth upload from your ISP. But that’s to be expected
Good item, funny watching dog wake up and go for its treats lol
Fantastic product would definitely recommend. Easy to use and the dogs love the treat throwing brilliant.
Great product but some problems occur with Bluetooth coonection. It is a little hit and miss when connecting but that may be our own connection issues rather than the Furbo.
Only installed yeaterday but we had some fun with it last nigh

Treat tossing got jammed. Need small firm pellets. Picture great. Dog took to with 3 goes – he loves his treats wherever they come from!
This has helped us massively and reassured us while we we’re at work.
So he wants to play with me not without me in the house…but let’s try for more time and at least I can see him.

ot many problems. customer services good.
I have lots of doggy visitors and work for guide dogs find it so useful to keep an eye on everything.
Fantastic camera and easy to use. I get so much reassurance from Furbo whilst I’m out.
Furbo working better than expected. Excellent product. Really pleased with it so far. Can keep a eye on my 8 dogs while at work
This camera treat tossing unit is fantastic, I can check in on my blind dog any time.

Great bit of kit but I do wish Furbo would stop asking me for reviews in the app when I am trying to use it!
Positive points:
Needs a little more work on responsiveness and communications, but has great potential.
If only one could buy treats that fit the dispenser.
