The lights are excellent quality and there are many different settings to change the pattern of the light display. I had mine on blue, red and white during the Olympics to show our support. The mains powered light set has a low voltage 12V adapter for safety and the die cast aluminium casing for the light is rated waterproof. The light itself consists of LED COB chips which are brighter and more stable than standard LED chips. These are 3W and output a total of 1800lm, which is much brighter than solar garden lights and they have a long life up to 50000H. Set up is simple as they are ready to use and you simply insert the stake below the light into the ground. There is 3m of cable between each one and you simply string them out in the garden over approximately 20m in total. The remote is a typical LED remote control which has a gazillion buttons for selecting red, green, blue ,cyan, orange, yellow, amber, purple, pink, white, and so on. Also has multiple lighting modes fade, smooth, flash etc. My sister has just built a cabin in the grounds of her house in the Scottish countryside so I bought these as a house warming present to help light up and nicely accent the cabin and I’m sure she will be delighted with them.
