The Cantilever Banana Parasol is the perfect piece to add cover to your garden.
The parasol makes a great sun shelter, with a 3m diameter the parasol is big enough to shelter large furniture sets and areas of your garden or patio. The design of the piece means it folds away into a small area when not in use, simply lift the lever and your parasol will fold back down.
The Parasol comes with 4 fillable bases and a weatherproof cover. Everything you need to really get the best out of the piece! The powder coated steel frame is 48mm thick and rust resistant. The covers fabric is made from 180g polyester with an airvent.

Just got this in time to catch the back end of the summer. Easy to put together and the weights which I filled with water are great for stability. I also like the rain cover for storage which has come in very handy
Great looking parasol and really easy to use. Only downside I can give is it could be a little more stable at the top when up as the slightest wind does move it quite a lot. Could do with something to attach it better at the top to keep it stable
Product arrived really well packaged and it was simple to assemble. May need 2 people but I managed it on my own. Quality really excellent and it’s really sturdy.

I was a bit disappointed with the 4 part base. These parasols are very vulnerable to a sudden breezes so I expected the 4 parts to be locked together by simple brackets thus affording increased stability. Apart from that anomaly all seems fine.
Happy with it so far. Seems good quality. Will monitor how it lasts. But happy so far and it looks good

I was skeptical that we needed one of these but my partner insisted. Have to say it’s been perfect in this years heat & spreads the width of the garden.
Easy to assemble and erect, provides very much needed shade on the hottest of days meaning that we didn’t have to retreat indoors like previously. The four base blocks have held it in place just filled with water for now but the metal base has holes should you want to drill and screw it down to your patio/ decking etc. Nice and compact when packed away.
This product was delivered on time, was well packed, easy to assemble, looks good and does a sound job. Worth the money against cheaper offers which we did seriously consider before buying two of these!

Ordered this parasol to try and combat the expected heatwave. The delivery updates were perfect and kept me well informed of delivery date and time. Alexa kept telling me my “cantilever banana was on the way” found this quite funny.
It duly arrived at expected time on delivery day husband was ready and waiting to get it erected as soon as possible.
It probably took him about 30 minutes to have it up and ready. They even provide a small spanner. The only assistance I gave was turning the tap on and off as required when filling the sand/water weights.
It’s a great parasol and covers quite a good sized area. There is a cover provided which protects it when the weather is dubious which it has been for the last couple of days.
All things being considered I would recommend this parasol does what it should do and very easy to operate.

Small hitch…not great for short height people…I can’t deploy it or wind it up and im 5ft 3inch so need a stool.
Also not great in breezey weather including a slight summer breeze…but this has not put me off the produc
Easy to assemble and did it on my own, filled the base up with water, doesn’t move at all! Great product and would recommend to othes. Just what i was looking for, sets my garden off nicely.
I’m terrible at putting things together and suffer from mobility issues to but with my wife “helping” we were able to construct/put together this item in around 40 minutes.The instructions were nice and clear and no extra tools or equipment were needed to complete the job.
The parasol is about 9 feet high (I’m 6’3″ tall and can stand under it without even worrying about my head touching the top.)
It has a very wide diameter (about 9 feet across) so it needs clear space when it is up (eg don’t place it too close to your house.)
The base is very stable and when the breeze gets up there is minimal movement of the whole structure.
The crank mechanism is very good and puts the parasol up and down in seconds with little to no effort needed.
It also comes with a decent cover for when the parasol is not in use (However, it does help to be quite tall to be able to place the cover over the top of the parasol!)
This parasol has given my bark garden significant extra value in terms of being able to stay outside in the shade. I’m delighted with it!
A very well designed and sturdy parasol.
Easy to put together and it comes with a 4 piece, plastic block base that you can fill with either sand or water with two separate filling points on each block. A cover for the umbrella is also supplied.

I was so pleased with the quality of this umbrella . So easy to assemble, used sand and water to fill the base and it made it very stable.
The two boxes (I ordered 2 of them) arrived within 2 days of ordering and what a surprise I got when I opened the boxes. When I ordered it was supposed to be just the parasol and cover but inside the boxes was the base weights as well. I had read some reviews that were not very complimentary about the fillable base units but I could find nothing wrong at all with them. They were sturdily made of a decent strength plastic, easy to undo the fitting that allowed filling with a hole that is bigger than I have ever had on any base unit for a parasol. As I wanted the parasols straight up with this beautiful sunshine I used the water option for weight. I found it easy to fill with such a large hole and when tightened both caps seemed extremely water tight to me and I gave them a good shake and then sat them on top of each other for about half an hour while I set about unpacking the rest of the box and having a quick scan of the instructions to see what parts should be within the box and making sure that everything was there.
Five minutes to put down the cross members and bolt the base pole (4 bolts) tightened together. Insert the plastic spacer into the top of the base and then lift the parasol into place and loosen the catch which allows the parasol to slide up the main pole and this allows the adjusting arms to fit together and that then allows the wheel to come into play to open the parasol. All in all it probably took about 15 minutes from start to finish.
Once I had it all together and opened out I called the wife out to have a sit at the table under the new parasol and she was absolutely delighted with it. Even with the strong breeze that we get around the back corner of our house (on the top of a hill) with the base weights in place even though the gusts kept moving the parasol itself back and forth the base stayed solidly on the ground.
This morning we have sat outside in full sunshine and it has been delightful sat there. It keeps the sun off brilliantly, it is easy to put up and take down and the cover is easy to put on and take off with the half way zip that makes it easy to slip over the top and pull down.
We wish that we had bought one of these years ago rather than the centre pole parasols that we have used for years.

We bought this as a Father’s Day gift and they love it as it gives a large area of shade for their garden. The weights have been filled with concrete making it really sturdy. Great product at a great price.

Really pleased it was quick and easy to build and looks great over the seating area. Highly recommend. The weights, I have put water in but make sure the screws are in right or they leak a little but that is not a problem whatsoever. it will be easy to store over winter as able to dismantle quickly and cover.
Very easy to assemble – 10 mins max – a few steps easier with 2 people. Easy to wind up/down and weights are heavy enough filled with water to keep it upright on flat ground. Just keep in mind that the umbrella does not tilt – once wound out, it’s a completely horizontal umbrella, and cannot be angled.
As with anything things can go wrong. But testament to good customer service is how quickly the supplier responds and resolves. Cannot fault this supplier and now that I have all the working parts, I love the product too.
This was put together by myself on my own and it was very simple to do. The package weighs 21 kilos so it is quite heavy to move around if you are alone. Once put together it looks great and it’s very easy to use. I found this to be a great purchase especially with hot weather due very soon. The four base weights need to be filled before use otherwise it’s likely to topple over. Sand or water will do the trick.
Not yet tried and tested in a breezy day, but pleased with how easy it is Tuesday.
Really is a good purchase.. my only bit of criticism it would be nice if you could spin it as the sun moves but still happy with purchase

My experience so far has been good , the base weights hold water and had little rubber washers to prevent leaks, the frame seems solid enough and fairly well built, the canopy is thin material and I suspect will fade quicker then most , the cover however feels very good quality and will protect well,

We bought this to replace our broken parasol. I found it easy to assemble and use. Winding mechanism is a little (no very stiff) But otherwise good.
Plus point is that it was sold complete with a 4 piece base weights to fill with sand or water.
Minus point – After filling the base weights with water (no sand available) we found that one of them is leaking from underneath – so we have / had a patio puddle .
Not bothered telling the seller as I doubt very much they would change one base unit.
She’s really happy with it, the quality and how it looks. The only downside is u have to push it up quite high to clock into places and my mum is short so she struggling a bit as it’s quite heavy to push but then she’s not as strong as she used to be
Pleased with this parasol. So much so I have just ordered two more.
Feels sturdy and good quality. Filled the bases to the brim with water and it handles a gentle breeze ok. I ordered the cream/ banana parasol but got grey, nevertheless it looks nice. It folds away nice and tidily with a cover.
Although arrived a day earlier than expected.we put out it together with no problems

This is well made and easy to erect and works well as a substantial sun shade provided there is little or no breeze . The problem with it is that it is easily moved by the lightest of breezes which means the area of shade moves substantially. Therefore if you have an exposed location or regularly have wind greater than Force 2 I would recommend something more solid.

Found it easy to assemble on my own. It’s a really big parasol when unfolded with the ability to alter the angle, to multiple positions but the really good thing is when folded back it’s slim and doesn’t take up much space. The base is quite large and the plastic plugs of the base need to be really tight otherwise water will leak from the quadrants and it can then fall over.
This is a good value product. Others of simular type are more expensive. I had a problem with a nut missing (fell out of packaging, I think) , but I sent them an email and they sent me some in the post straight away. Really good customer service.
I had no problem putting this together, although, a bit of advice to anyone putting this together, assemble it close to where it will be used as it is heavy to move. It certainly looks as if the materials are strong enough to give many years of use. I put the umbrella down if the wind gets up as it will certainly blow over, causing damage. I looked at a few different models but chose this one as it comes complete with weights and a very handy cover. It is simple to raise and lower the umbrella.

Really impressed with the size of this parasol, wish I had bought one years ago. You can alter the height and angle very easily. Great price considering it includes the base and a cover.
Lovely large parasols, I filled weights with water but this is not enough if a slight gust of wind or breezy conditions catches the parasol and will break it, I have added concrete slabs on top for more stability -to the base and will never use it if there’s a slight breeze
Strong build and easy to erect. Arrived early so able to put to use straight away while the sun was out. Very impressed with quality of parasol and base. The cover that came with it was tailor made and waterproof. Very pleased all round.
