Upgraded from a FitBitt and this is incomparable. I’m really happy with my purchase its made getting fit a lot easier and I am now adicated to reading the stats and being able to map my progress each day.
Fantastic watch, with brilliant features.
Sadly I had to return mine as because it’s the X model it’s just so big. And I’m not a small chap.
Went for the 6 pro solar instead which I find a lot more comfortable
I’m not very in the sport and fitnes. But I love to swimming and for this reason my previous watches stopped to work. Battery life as well is must have for me. And finally I have watch with very good battery life and I can swim without worrying. I can’t give review about rest of features, but as it says ultimate sport aupport.
All good for a upgrade afterm using tom tom for 7 years… no issues… just hab to learn control button (still learning)
Great watch for the purpose I bought it, I love stats and that is what I get.
I am not convinced the heart rate monitor is accurate mind you, but data fields are perfect for my requirements.
went from galaxy watch to garmin. should have done it ages ago
Moved up from 235. I know it was big but was not expecting it to be this big – and heavy. It is also hard and probably
impossible to fasten down if you have a slimmer wrist. I will likely stick with the 235 for races and use this for long runs and exploring.
This is my 2nd Garmin and it is great. It has more functions that I will use but so far the battery life is great and a really neat watch to wear.
Was looking at reviews of this watch for so long, wish I bought it sooner, does everything it says it does and pretty accurately too, even though I use it mainly for cycling and a daily watch it’s just become a part of my life now, looks fantastic too
Really nice watch, it does what it says on the tin, nice ECG function and many sport modes, battery lasts about 2 weeks as a watch only, if I play with it all day long then the battery life is reduced to a week.
Overall very happy with the purchase.
As a keen hiker and runner, I needed a robust watch that’s going to do everything I needed it to do on the mountains etc and this absolutely does it all and more. The apps I have added are also working very well and I have no complaints at all.
Already had an instinct 2 that I use mainly for work and really liked it and decided to go for something more casual and I m not disappointed.
Upgraded to the Fenix 6X from the Vivoactive 4 (which I loved). It was key that I could still listen to music while running without carrying my phone.
Took a while to get used to the size difference but now that I am, I love it. Perfect for triathlon allowing you to measure transition times and has been accurate with open water swimming. Great watch, would recommend for triathlon!
Awesome bit of kit, for me, life changing. GpS could be more accurate but otherwise excelle
The battery lifetime is good but solar charging it’s just a joke ,not even close from what I was expected ( this was the main reason ive choose this model) . Excepting this Garmin is doing a great job as always
Best upgrade ever, was not sure about not having a touchscreen but all over that now. Good range of aftersales straps and worth purchasing a watch cover to protect the buttons. The battery life is just amazing and great when I am away no need to worry about charging every week.
Love this watch great for tracking hikes and syncing with Strava
My husband was very surprised when he opened his bday present and was delighted with it and it does soo much stuff so he says and charge is excellent .
This is not a touch screen smart watch. The reaction of the pulse sensor sometimes slow. The colours of the screen can be “washed out”. This watch is not a fancy stuff, rather a rugged outdoor multisport device.
Love this watch. Does everything I need it to and has a very good battery life. It is also light making it easy to wear all the time.
Amazing running watch . Had it a week before I knocked it and scratched the glass gutted. The gorilla glass is supposed to be scratch resistant not true get a screen protector before you use this watch . Otherwise an amazing watch
Chunky on the wrist, but it does come with lots of features. The battery life is amazing and also have low power mode which pushes the battery further. Takes a bit to get used to and use all the features but once you get familiar, it’s a good multifunctional sports watch
Brilliant watch. Great for golf and running. Battery lasts ages
Brilliant watch, just bear in mind of its size, easy enough to set up. I put a protective case on it , but then made it look even bigger! Battery life is immense, you’re talking days not hours .If you’re in the market for a multisport smartwatch, won’t be disappointed.
It feels comfortable, the strap looks smart. I use it for running, cycling and swimming. The daily workout suggestions are grea
Wasn’t as large as I expected but I prefer this larger size, more polished app than other watches I’ve had, accurate, screen is filtered and visible in bright conditions which is a major plus for me,good build quality though expensive price point but goes on sale at a better price point occasionally.
The only thing which I don’t like at this product it’s the charger is to short.
Good sports watch not too sure how accurate the sensors are. Lots of functions on the watch for just about everything, looks great even on my fairly small wrist, battery life also is very good
This is great watch. All you need in here, unfortunately you can’t replay for messages and calls but this is not major function for me. Great exercise tracking and battery live. Also love option where I can upload whole Spotify playlist (600 songs) directly into the watch, pair bt headphones and listen music without phone.
Bought this as an upgrade to the Garmin Vivoactive 3, which is a good everyday ‘smart’ watch for monitoring activity, less so for recording multi discipline activities and providing metrics. The Fenix 6 Pro is a step up in everyway providing valuable insight into performance, fitness and wellbeing. Battery life also phenomenal. As a bonus this was purchased as a Prime Day deal.
This is the ultimate watch for tracking all exercise activity. There is a newer version, but I think all that adds is touchscreen and better battery life. About 300 to pay to increase battery from 7 days plus to – a few days more. The reports from the free app are unbelievably detailed, allowing monitoring of progress, and there is even more detail as free weekly emails. I use this for pool swimming and cycling, both indoor trainer and outside road bike. Don’t believe me – just look at the You Tube reviews!
So, after 3-4 weeks use, watch is being returned. The light that lights up the screen has failed (not the screen backlight – they are different). Having spoken to Garmin, this is a hardware fault. Sad day.
But am getting a replacement elsewhere, as have been so impressed by watch’s features and functions!
Great looking, rugged and provides a multitude of data. Cannot fault this watch at all 10/10!!!!
Great watch, does exactly what is advertised. Very happy with my purchase
Great watch price dropping all the time now a new model is out
Does everything in need in an activity watch

Nifty little gadget.
I love the insights the app gathers from data collected.
Also the GPS & HR tracking. Making payments w/o wallet is my fave feature!
Music / audio management is tricky but works.
Battery is excellent and love optional face designs.
I moved up from fenix 5. This is a much better watch. Only negative is the heart rate tracking is useless unless you remain perfectly still. (same as fenix 5).
Had all the previous Fenix range and the 6X is very good. I inter change it with the Forerunner 945 on occasion but all in all it’s a top watch. Forget the usual 6 pro just go for the larger 6X. It’s a beast.
I have decided to buy this Garmin because my apple watch was not apple to track my long bike rides.
I am very happy with the watch in general. However, it took me a while to get used to the lack of touchscreen.
PROS: I did a few scuba dives with it (-20m) and it worked fine.
Battery lasts a lot. I can track at least 10h worth of activity with no issues
Contactless payments
Ant+ support – I can connect it to my power meter
Supports lots of sports
Sleep monitoring
Charges fast
CONS: I also wanted to use the maps function to navigate on the rides but I found that difficult.
Garmin pay is limited to a few banks
I’ve only had it 3 days and so far I am very pleased. I have customised the face and started to use it right away. The only thing I was disappointed is that it didn’t automatically detect my workout yesterday when strength training, swimming and not even when I was lifting 30 folded tables at an event. My last watch which was a fitbit and Samsung gear had this feature.
