Pulse Ox at Your WristThe Pulse Ox sensor on vÃvosmart 4 estimates your bodyâs blood oxygen saturation level. Your Pulse Ox measurements are dependent upon a number of factors, including your overall health and fitness. Checking your Pulse Ox can help gauge how your body is absorbing oxygen. Turn on the feature to gauge your SpO2 overnight, or use it to take a spot measurement anytime to learn more about your body. | Advanced Sleep MonitoringSleep is important to your overall health, well-being and physical performance. To give you an idea of how youâre sleeping, vÃvosmart 4 tracks your light, deep and REM stages of sleep, along with movement throughout the night. For added insight, turn on the Pulse Ox feature to view your blood oxygen levels during your sleep. When you wake up, you can easily review and compare your sleep stats in the Garmin Connect Mobile app. | Optimise Your Bodyâs EnergyBody Battery energy monitoring on vÃvosmart 4 uses a combination of stress, heart rate variability (HRV), sleep and activity data to gauge your bodyâs energy reserves at any moment, so you can plan your day to optimise times for activity and rest. A higher number indicates youâre ready to be active, while a lower number suggests you might need to relax and rest a bit before tackling a workout. Body Battery can also help you make sense of patterns throughout your weeks, so you can understand how the past few days have influenced how youâre feeling today. |

All-day Stress TrackingYou most likely experience stress at some point in your day, but how much? Your vÃvosmart 4 lets you know when you are having a calm, balanced or stressful day and everything in between. Tracking your HRV (the time interval between each heartbeat), vÃvosmart 4 calculates and displays your stress level. Thereâs also an optional ‘Relax Reminder’ feature that you can turn on in the Garmin Connect app. If your stress level gets elevated during your day, it will provide a vibration alert on your wrist and display a message (âTake a moment to breathe?â) to let you know itâs time to relax. Use the relaxation breathing timer, which walks you through the Fourfold breathing technique, proven to calm your mind and body. | Daily Fitness and Wellness MonitoringUsing the Elevate heart rate data collected from your wrist, vÃvosmart 4 can â with a VO2 max estimate â give you an idea of your current fitness level. In general, as your aerobic fitness increases, your VO2 max does the same. Based on your VO2 max, vÃvosmart 4 is also able to estimate your fitness age â a stat that you may be able to decrease over time with hard work and exercise. For added insight, vÃvosmart 4 will notify you if your heart rate unexpectedly rises above a threshold youâve set. If youâre inactive for more than 10 minutes and your heart rate stays above your set threshold, youâll get an alert. | Stay ConnectedWith a vÃvosmart 4 tracker on your wrist, you donât have to choose between staying connected and staying more active. Check the weather, control your music, receive smart notifications, find your phone, even reply with preset text responses (Android only), and access social media notifications on your trackerâs display â all while keeping your smartphone stowed away. |
Keep Track of Your Active Life
Your vÃvosmart 4 greets you each day with a personalised step goal. Then it tracks and displays your progress. In addition to steps, its activity tracking capabilities include floors climbed, calories burned, intensity minutes and more. Youâll also see a move bar and get vibration alerts to remind you when itâs time to get up and move.
Track Your Workouts
You can use the preloaded activity timers to keep track of your exercise times and more. When using the strength training activity, it estimates your exercises, reps and sets along with your work and rest times so you can leave the notebook at home. And if you forget to start a timer, the Move IQ feature on vÃvosmart 4 will automatically detect exercises such as walking, swimming, cycling and elliptical training â and it even starts timing select activities. When finished, your activities are pushed to Garmin Connect, Garmin online community, where you can review, edit and share the activities with your connections and friends.

This has some pros and cons. I like the app, and it’s a way of encouraging yourself to move about. That said, however much I clean the sensors it’s not very accurate. It’s not so bad on steps but is terrible on stairs and the pulse oximeter is wildly inaccurate. That or I should be clinically dead. One or the other.
I would buy again, but Garmin either need to step up the technology or just avoid the gimmicky bits.
The activity tracker looks good has a clear, easy-to-read screen and counts my steps well. However its ability to pair with my phone is sporadic and even if it does it often will not transfer data to Garmin Connect so I have been unable, so far, to test out the facilities like sleep tracking.
This is the perfect fitness watch, thin on the wrist and the fitness tracking is very accurate. I workout with a friend who uses an Apple Watch for tracking and our stats are almost identical!
I’ve had an older version of garmin watch and I think they’re great! You can use GPS from phone if you’re running and want a map of the run.
Easy to use, minimal set-up.
Good value compared to more expensive alternative.
Auto synchronisation with the Garmin app, and clear data display.
Had a Fitbit in the past and I thought it was difficult to beat but this Garmin is far better. It looks really good, is very comfortable, battery life is 5 to 6 days and the mobile app is really good.
Highly recommended.
I’ll hold my hands up and admit I didn’t check it thoroughly, but it has no Google Fit direct connectivity. Also the auto pick up for running and walking is average at best, meaning it’s a case of manually starting up the tracker for when you exercise! No different to when you do so on your phone but I kinda wish it was a bit more “let’s do this!”.
Sleep and VO2 is where I really wanted it though, and I’m happy (and mildly depressed) to say that it is very accurate and gives lots and lots of information about it all.
Overall, it’s good for the money, however if you can save an extra 20/40 for some more accuracy, I would do so.
I’ve been using Garmin products for training for years, and i thought i’d give an activity tracker a go and so i bought a Garmin because i like their products.
Unlike other companies, Garmin don’t charge you to use Garmin Connect, there is no premium to pay for to get at all your stats. You buy the product and get all the Garmin services for free.
This is a great little product that i’ve been using for a year now. Really like it and certainly recommend it as an activity tracker.
So far it’s really good, I just need to get to grips with exactly how it works
Liked the fact one could choose which facilities were best suited to them, and set up accordingly. Nice to have so many options available.
Really great piece of equipment but I have a couple of issues – not with the unit itself as that is great – no with Garmin.
I have thick wrists and ankles,,,,,, and the only Garmin Vivoactive 4 that would fit me is the black one – very masculine!! I would’ve loved to have a Berry or even an Ice Blue one but these only come with the small size wrist strap, no good for me, so come on Garmin make nice coloured straps for us ladies!!!!
My first garmin, couldn’t tell it wasn’t brand new, love it!!!
It looks good, has so many helpful applications. Helps keep track of steps, sleep, stress levels, heart rate & more. Easy to set up & use
Super watch overall does exactly what’s described!
The only issue I have is with the battery. I don’t even have it linked to my phone but I do have it tracking everything and it’ll barely last 3 days unfortunately.
However for the price I don’t think that’s too bad.
Presented to my wife as a gift.
Replacement for an old Fitbit.
Likes it very much, smaller, lighter, features.
I have my phone set to ‘sleep’ from 11.30 pm to 7.30 am. My watch seems to think I have a wonderful sleep every night! In actual fact, I’m a dreadful sleeper, up at least 4 times during the night pottering, making cups of tea etc.
I didn’t realise the battery would need charged every few days, my last Garmin would run for over a year before the battery needed replaced, which was much better.
On the plus side, it does tell me to move if I’ve sat for too long!
I’m surprised by some of the negative reviews for this tracker. Sure, there’s room for improvement but it has loads of features and is a neat compact size for wearing every day (unlike some of the smart watches which seem huge by comparision).
PROS:
— heart rate monitor
— pulse ox
— stress monitor (with breathing timer thing for relaxation)
— pedometer
— vibrates to prompt you to move
— waterproof (for swimming and shower)
— excellent app; lots of features, very customisable (like linking to calorie journal MyFitnessPal)
— syncs to app quickly
— plus a lot of other features that I haven’t used yet (GPS, phone notifications, etc.)
CONS:
—the most annoying thing is the strap: because of the charging port, it’d very difficult to remove/change/buy a cheap replacement/different colour, but also the soft rubbery material and the buckle are irritating to my skin. Fortunately, wearing it much looser seems to help a lot (and doesn’t affect the monitoring tools) as well as taking it off/drying it thoroughly when it gets really wet (although that somewhat defeats the object of getting a waterproof tracker). This was not an issue on the vivosmart 2 which was a harder kind of silicon – if only they hadn’t changed it.
— you do have to charge it every few days but there’s a battery indicator on the screen (I used to have a garmin vivosmart 2 which never needed charging, so I’ll have to get used to this)
— the charger is proprietary (i.e. unique to this tracker) so if you break/lose it you can’t just use another spare charger
— the sleep data is interesting but dubious, although it does track when you sleep (not just between the hours you set, which I initially thought)
Overall, I’d say it was definitely worth getting (low price, thanks CamelCamel alerts!), and no tracker is going to be 100% perfect – but I’d say this is better than expected so far.
If you want a fitness trackers that is not bulky or stand out, it is this one. The app is great and you can see most of the data there. I do not use it as my notification however if you want to do so, maybe look somewhere else as the display is tiny and I do not think it will offer much help. Other than that, display is good for what it is.
I do not know/ have data how well it tracks the sleep. I see my sleep data every morning and think maybe i have not slept well.
Now, the biggest con:
The battery life is very poor, extremely poor. It does not last more than four days compared to its advertised 7 days. It is not only mine but a friend has the same issue. It kinda sucks there.
This is great, I thought the small screen would be an issue, but it is so clear to read. The blood oxygen reader is a great bonus, as is the heart rate warning. It’s great for swimming, running, yoga and every other sport I do especially when combined with the Garmin app and the MyFitness app.
Quite pleased with this apart from a few little things. It took me a while to get used to the sensitivity of the swiping/screen. Sometimes it tells me I was asleep when I know I wasn’t and it’s a bit hit and miss whether it records flights of stairs. All in all I’m pleased with it though, I like the slimline style as I have a small wrist.
I love my watch. It looks smart and tracks activity well. It can be used in conjunction with myfitnesspal which means I can record my weight and calories. It tells me the person messaging or email author. My son is also taken with it ao it looks like it will be a good Christmas present. Recommended
Great colour choice, nice “personal battery” feature and very waterproof! Would buy again!
I’ve just gone back to amazon to see how long I’ve owned this and its been three years now, so I think I can now write a review on it. It’s a great fitness watch that’s accurate and helpful in alerting you to moments of stress etc. and guides you in a little meditation in such times.
The accompanying app lets you personalise your step length etc to make the readings it gives you more accurate.
This last year the ability to measure your blood oxygen level has been very useful.
Tracking weight lifting was kinda tricky.
It’s handy to get call and text notifications on your wrist.
I’ve worn it every day for three years now including in the shower and the swimming pool, the bath and the sea, climbing, gardening, all kinds of everyday activity. It is still working just as well as it was when I bought it.
The strap has gotten a little worn, and the bevel on the face has just fallen off but I can probably glue it back on. I have to charge it more often now which is a little annoying but apart from that, it’s still working perfectly.
A good buy? Yes, but I’ve just upgraded to a smarter watch with more functionality, the kind of which wasn’t available for the price that they are now at the time. (mi watch).
I love my Vivosmart 4, so much so that I went on and bought my daughter, and my 75 year old Dad one each, and a Vivosport for my son! They have kept us all really motivated, cycling, running, cardio sessions, yoga, setting up step challenges against each other, earning badges and getting “streaks”, the sleep tracking is really interesting, and the “Stress details” were absolutely fascinating the night after my first Covid vaccination! Really impressed at how short a time it takes to charge up, only 60-90mins, I tend to put it on charge whilst working or watching something on tv, so never miss out on recording any activity. The mobile app is really easy to use, and holds far more information than I expected.
At times the watch can be a little slow to react to “taps” to start it, but only a minor issue. Totally recommend!
What can i say fantastic good value for money sleep app is so useful as i have always had problems sleeping and it has made me realise how much
Love thIs small tracker, mainly used for steps only but also walking with gps to my phone with no issues. I would question the accuracy compared to my other Garmin this definitely counts more ages but not sure which one it more accurate! Loving the app, have always used this for running so it didn’t take long to get used to how it works.
If you are debating between this and a Fitbit, I would highly recommend the Garmin! I’ve purchased both and have found that this watch gives a much more realistic step count, is much easier to use and the app is much easier to navigate and gives you better tracking features. Only complaint is that the auto save feature when you are doing a run/walk can be frustrating as it stops recording your activity if you slow down your pace too much- sometimes this is good motivation to keep going!
I cannot praise this enough. Helps me manage my long covid, especially as you can set the abnormal heart rate alarm. Sleep tracking is very good too.
The best feature is the body battery. Not just how much it says you have but how quickly you burn it. Really invaluable tool for pacing.
Other useful features include stress levels, heart rate monitor, oximeter, pedometer and exercise/activity tracker.
Oh and I’ve been admitted to hospital while wearing it and can therefore attest to it’s accuracy. Heart rate and oxygen saturation levels matched the hospital equipment every time I checked.
The app also gives you a summary of previous days which is useful for health professionals.
Only issue, which isn’t really a problem for me, is that when my heart rate goes out of control it thinks I’m exercising. Personally I think this is handy when describing how I’m feeling to the doctor i.e. my watch thinks I’ve done 2hrs of intensely vigorous exercise when I’m lying in bed….but I can see maybe some people might find this annoying or misleading.
I love it. It’s helped me manage my condition so much better. Thanks Garmin x
I’m an user of Gramin myself and got this one for my 11/12 year old daughter and feel its best as compared to other gadgets in the market for yuongones.
The only complaint I have is that that you cannot create the profile on Connect app for Garmin for anyone under 16 years of age and this watch doesn’t connect to Junior Connect app.
Exactly what he wanted; no frills but easy to use. Perfect for strength training & does absolutely everything he needs.
Nearer than the Vivosport it replaced, albeit without built-in GPS. However it can get that info from the phone via the app. Nice little screen.
I prefer this to the fitbit. Find the app more user friendly
his was bought to replace the previous one which messed up when the company got hacked. So far after one day it is doing all what it is supposed to
Bought for my dad to replace the older version vivosport, chosen for the additional health features which seem to work well but I hadn’t realised how thin it would be. As the vivosport was small/medium I ordered same size but this seems smaller.
However I think the data available will hopefully help him work on his stress and anxiety.
It said it would automatically recognise walking / running activities which it doesn’t seem to do very well so dad’s walks are coming up very short.
Lovely watch and lightweight it does what it says. Very happy with this item
Just changed from the VIVO Smart 3 to the 4. The Garmins are far superior to all other tracker devices. Well worth spending the money, Christmas present for the wife. She has slim wrists and therefore needed the smaller version. Absolutely perfect. Always go for quality, Garmins are it. No issues, great choice.
Other garmin models is more expensive, this device is cheap compared to other garmin watch / apple watch, but it can measure most of essential things you need to make yourself healthier, i. e. Stress, active hours, sleeping hours etc.
Did everything it said except counting floors climbed, and steps arent always accurate in my opinion, overall decent for the price
Best ever, goes in to detail about everything sleep eg. Oxygen, deep, light and rem and movement. Steps aren’t always 100% accurate but otherwise would buy another one
Absolutely love this. Bought to replace an old fitbit. Slim, plenty of detail. Only problem is that it does not track flights of stairs well…. And I run up and down a lot!
moved from another brand, wish I had done it earlier – great watch, only drawback is that you can’t change the strap like I could on the other one, so when it breaks will have to buy new watch
I have previously been a fan of Fitbit but this was recommended to me, as I was about to spend around 3 times the amount on a new Fitbit smart watch.
I’m well impressed and am now a Garmin convert.
love this, looks good, does what it says on the tin, very happy.
Great fitness tracker. Accuracy a bit off on sleep tracking but the other functions work well. The GPS link to smartphone makes up for no inbuilt GPS. Found the gym tracking to be problematic. The software and graphical functions are excellent.
Replaced a Fitbit charge 3 works great, app not as good overall on the mobile but the device is far superior.
I have moved from Fitbit to Garmin. The Fitbit was fine and gave basic info but it wasn’t very in-depth and most of the more advanced features you have to pay for.
The Garmin is just a better bit of kit as is the app. It’s a little harder to navigate but there is more on offer.
I love this watch. I got it about eighteen months ago to replace my heart rate belt. The heart rate seems to be accurate and I love the other features like the performance graphs and being able to get messages from my phone.
Tracks steps well enough, but when counting flights of stairs it’s not very accurate. Sleep tracking isn’t great either as says I’m in a deep when in fact just trying to get to sleep and not moving. However as I primarily bought this for the step and heart monitor tracking it doesn’t worry me.
The app is very good with lots of interesting features and after you have worn the tracker a few months gives you insights into your activities. You earn badges for different accomplishments so can be very motivating.
The tracker is nice and slim which is great for me as I have small wrists. Very comfortable to wear both day and when sleeping.
I spent a good few months researching and deliberating between or the FitBit Inspire HR, or the FitBit charge 3. After numerous reviews, I went for Vivosmart due to it’s more in depth data and more lightweight design. I’ve been using it for about one week now and I am very happy with it. They’ve updated the software so a lot of the issues people were having before have been ironed out, and it can now also use the phone’s GPS.
I’ve been using it to track my cycles, yoga, dancing, and walks. Its measurements are inline with what Strava records.
It also has a few extra little features that help motivate me to drink more water through out the day, get enough sleep, and to take a few moments to breathe and regulate my stress response.
I tend to overtrain, so the body battery function really helps me to recognise when I need to chill out and it encourages me to rest when I need it.
Very happy with my choice
Girlfriend is overjoyed with this. It is a great little product. Easy to set up and use. Tracks almost everything.
This is my wife’s second one as the strap broke on her other one. She loves the things it can do and keep track of her activities
I totally love this watch/sleep/fitness tracker. I’ve had mine for over a year.
The sleep tracking is pretty much second to none and about as accurate as it can get. It shows rem sleep as well as time awake and deep/light sleep. I didn’t appreciate fully how accurate it was until I recently misplaced it and substituted it with a forerunner 30. The difference was remarkable. No rem sleep shown on the fr 30 and it also didn’t record any of the times I woke up in the night, even when I went to the loo.
Apart from the sleep tracking, it has a lot of other features that I had enjoyed but not fully appreciated until they disappeared when I was using the fr 30. When connected to the Garmin app it has a body battery tracker which is good at showing when you could do with either putting your feet up or going for a run. It also shows how many flights of stairs you climb/descend and there’s a stress tracker which shows levels of stress throughout the day.
Tiny downside is that the display isn’t always on. It comes on either when you tap the screen or when you raise your arm. So when using it as a watch it can be a bit of a pain but for me not a dealbreaker.
Size wise it’s by far the most delicate and pretty of any of the fitness trackers I’ve looked at. It’s waterproof and you can shower/swim without worrying it’ll suffer.
The garmin connect app is also really really good. It’s easy to see and easy to use and personalise.
Love it 🙂
Bought one for my partner and my dad and they love it! Small and smart. Easy to use and collects lots of data – recognises weight lifting etc.
I spent a long time thinking about spending a lot more money on a wearable device and I’m so glad I bought this. My only observation is that I have a Garmin Fenix for running and having worn them both for Park Runs I have found the Vivosmart GPS less accurate than the Fenix – but there’s a huge difference in price.
The Vivosmart was always intended as a 24-hour wearable for sleep and stress tracking and it does that job admirably well – it means I can wear an expensive Omega watch during the day (that has sentimental value) and then swap the Vivosmart for the Fenix when I’m running.
Very happy customer.
Ok for the purpose. Fells like a size for children but luckily I am petite.
I am happy with this vivosmart 3. I have become dependant to the readings and has given me peace of mind with the HR. Only con could be that you can’t see the screen when sun hits.
It’s not clunky and I don’t have to take it off for water sports
Bought for my wife after her other tracker broke she absolutely loves it would recommend .
Sleek and comfortable to wear, battery life is good but sleep tracker is not always accurate. Great value for money.
light weight and easy to use, requires charging every 5 days, simple set up to sync with mobile phone.
Does what I need it to do. Great design and light. Just what I wanted.
Good replacement for my old garmin. Screen is a bit small and can’t seem to only have time and date on it. Some of the alerts are rather annoying but I’m sure I can turn them off just haven’t explored that yet.
It’s small and neat. As I have a small wrist I much prefer the size compared to most trackers. However because it is so narrowmessages are broadcast sideways. I don’t know why this is as other writing comes up reading across. The icons are not easy to flick through.
Lastly I really don’t know how accurate it is. After cycling indoors with Zwift it records twice as many calories burned as Zwift! I suspect Zwift is under estimating, but I also suspect the vivosmart is over estimating. However it does sync well with app.
A good size for slim writs, comfortable and easy to read. Oxygen saturation is fairly accurate.
I honestly love this thing. I have read loads of reviews where people slate it for not being 100% accurate or absolutely perfect when tracking activities. In order to fully appreciate this awesome little thing, you need to understand its limitations – it’s not a 5000 highly calibrated piece of science equipment, it’s a 90 fitness band that has some amazing functionality and does a great job of keeping up with the big boys.
It has a great feel and build quality. It feels solid.
It doesn’t have GPS built in, but it DOES allow you to use the GPS on your phone to track walks and activities. Some reviews say this isn’t possible, but it definitely is as of Oct 2019. I walked the dogs this morn and tracked it using GPS on my phone. See the attached image.
It isn’t 100% accurate when using the activity trackers for counting reps or distance (when not connected to GPS). But for me I don’t really mind. I use it more to monitor how active I have been throughout the day. Not to count the exact number if reps I have done or miles I have walked. When connected to your phones GPS, it is actually very accurate.
The Connect app is brilliant and does a great job of displaying your stats for the day. Really easy to read and understand.
The stress, sleep quality, heart rate and body battery features are great. I don’t know for sure how accurate they are but the readings are accurate enough for me. It definitely does a great job of capturing when my heart rate is high I.e. when I have been doing burpees or similar. And it uses all the information available to it (which is quite a lot) to determine your stress levels and body battery stats. I really like these features. The sleep tracker has been very accurate too.
The touchscreen is great. Some people don’t like it because it’s tiny. But I really like it. Garmin do a great job of displaying so much information on such a small screen. It’s pretty clever. It doesn’t respond to touch 100% of the time, but it’s good enough so as not to degrade the user experience or for me to not really notice.
Overall, I love it. I would definitely recommend it to people who are conscious of their health and fitness. If you don’t have unreasonable expectations, it seriously wont disappoint. Use it to monitor, health, well being and fitness. And to get an insight into how you’re looking after yourself. Not to track how far you ran to the exact meter or how many reps you did with 100% accuracy.
Very happy with purchase, nothing negative to say about it.
OK, so you don’t know how accurate it is, but it gives me a really good idea how lazy I am during the day. The sleep pulse OX when compared to a professional pulse ox is pretty good and I can see how I’m sleeping. It’s fun to use as long as you don’t take it ultra seriously, but for my level of fitness it’s great.
If you are looking for a fitness tracker to wear on your wrist but like your current watch, this is probably the right choice. It’s no thicker than a band and gives exactly what you need.
It’s good but does keep loosing connection so continually vibrates which can annoying
Seems to be accurate, huge improvement on the old model. Much smaller, so it fits under shirt sleeves comfortably.
I ordered this after returning a fitbit alto which looked too big on my wrist. This tracker is small, light, easy to use and looks quite nice. It was easy to set up with my phone and I am happy with the data it gives me.
Really good, easy to use and a great way to monitor your health
This activity watch has so much spec it’s brilliant. It does so Mich and is defiantly reasonably priced
Fits perfectly easy set up, not quite as accurate as I would have liked though but I’m being picky
Don’t wear it in the shower and charge it up regularly. Mine stopped working after the front button fell off somewhere and they gave me a replacement as it was only 20 months old. Can’t complain. Pretty accurate – just take care of it. Great customer service……being polite always helps.
Love Garmin as a brand. Very happy with the watch.
I had a Vivosmart 3 which was beginning to perish. The 4 improves on the 3 and is slightly smaller. A step up as it were!
Wanted it to measure my blood/oxygen levels. Works well.
I like this fitness tracker. Makes me more motivated to move and feel better for having it. Simple and easy to use. Good app.
Accuracy of steps is a bit off, but overall happy
Small, elegant and full of features, the only downside is that it’s a bit delicate and can be easily damaged
I don’t use all the features, but it is comfortable and easy to understand. I love it.
Also good for swimming, was a bit hard to get it to start and stop workouts.
Small lovely to look at and wear exactly what i wanted
No gps in retrospect i wish i had purchased one with gps but i love this
Bought this for my mum for Mother’s Day, I have the forerunner 35. I was really surprised at all the features this has, easy to use too. Thinking about one for myself
Great battery life, easily lasts seven days if notifications turned off. Screen is to small to try and read a message anyway. Heart rate monitor is good for low level and daily monitoring like it’s supposed to. Doesn’t record very well for heavy sessions like weight lifting. Worth the money though
Very good. I have had three different fitbits over the years the vivosmart is so much better!
Pretty impressive, even if all you use it for is phone notifications.
Not sure how accurate it would be for some with the work outs but for what I wanted it for (keeping track of activity after and accident) and getting back on my feet I find it fantastic and simple to use and also really like the fit. Keeps track of steps, running feature, stairs taken etc. Waterproof for hand washing (I’ve not tried it in a shower) I get about a week out of the battery with Bluetooth on all the time set to sync to the app. Notifications from the phone is great too but may be difficult to read if running. I would recommend this
Brilliant little device. We have a number of them, different makes, and this is the best at tracking heartbeat, stress and sleep. They all do steps and floors well, it is the likes of the sleep tracking that set the various devices apart and this is the best at that. Battery life is good and the app is well designed. Worth the money, if you want the advanced features like stress and sleep monitoring.
Bought as a gift and it seems to do what it should.
All the facillities are OK , but why the battery discharged after 4 days, really in the book are 7 days.
Really nice, my girlfriend love it. It works really good.
I did a bit of research into different trackers and am very pleased with my choice. The vivosmart 4 offers comparable functions to that of the fitbit charge 3, but with some extras such as Vo2 max SpO2 (although apparently support on charge 3 is planned in a future update). The stats offered by the vivosmart and it’s accompanying app are very detailed, and the measurements are very accurate. The main advantage of the vivosmart 4 over other devices was asthetic – it is a much slimmer and discreet band to others (much neater than the fitbit charge 3). The only drawback is that the screen responsiveness – sometimes it can be a little slow. However I would 100% recommend this as a fully functioned, sleek fitness tracker.
Not smaller than I am used to but being less bulky actually make it more comfortable for long term wea
I purchased this as I have slim wrists and I wanted a tracker that I could swim in, I purchased and sent back a fitbit because the face was too big.
This Garmin Small/Medium vivosmart 4 Smart Activity Tracker with Wrist-Based Heart Rate and Fitness Monitoring, is slimline but also has a display that you can read.
The app and the data you get from the app is excellent and really in depth.
I really like the fact that you can track your oxygen levels which really helps me with keeping an eye on my asthma, and it also has a ‘stress level’ that I find a bit quirky and I’m not sure how accurate it is as it works off your heart rate and other data which then notifies you to take a breath and relax for a few mins.
I would recommend this tracker for sure, it is comfortable to wear and looks great, another excellent product from Garmin.
I really like this fitness tracker but could have done with more detailed instructions at the beginning. The size might be a bit fiddly for people who are very serious about tracking their fitness.
Battery life isn’t that great as I expected. Lasts for 4-5 days max.
Used for me as a heart monitor, as I have no pain heart attacks it allowes me to be aware of my heart state quickly. I know they really shouldn’t be used as heart monitors per say but I have found the stress has been helped no end.
Watch face small but battery great and new features excelle
This new tracker has the common features (sleep stages, heart rate, stress) and the new Body battery that is very interesting and also pulse ox.
I already own the Fenix 5 & Vivosport, I highly recommend it!
compared to my previous fitness tracker, this one is much more accurate for step counting ( no more steps just from sitting at computer moving your arms around). HR gives same results as my other tracker so looks good. But the best things for me and the reason I chose this are the stress monitoring and water resistance. Used in showers, swimming and hot tub without issue and when daily life gets difficult theres a little buzz on my arm fairly quickly which helps me pause a moment and think.
