I love the fact that you can see them a full 180 when they are on. The front light is not something you’d want to use to light your way with, but as a day light or a secondary light it works well. The rear light for me is where this set shines. You have various flashing modes and the battery last a good few hours between charges. The mount is easy enough to use to put on and take off but it is pretty cheap feeling so I don’t know how long it would last. I prefer the type you just clip on and off. These are very lightweight though so would be great if you are looking to save weight on early evening rides. I’m not sure I would pay what they are asking for these as they do seem a little on the high side for this type of light, but if you see them for a decent price I can recommend them even if it’s just for the back light. Anita George says: 07/04/2022 at I’ve been looking for super bright and rechargeable bike lights. Most I’d seen online you have to buy both front and rear lights individually, so when I saw this complete set I thought I’d give them a go. The lights are super bright, easy to fix to the bike and can be charged easily! Worth the money for a decent set of lights. I particular like that they have a 180 visibility rather than 90 or less. Be seen at almost every angle! Great rechargeable lights Todd Goldman says: 02/04/2022 at Fine lights, bright, and easy to recharge, the rubber strap on and off is decent too, holds enough and can be attached on a vertical pole (like my bicycle seat pole) or a horizontal (as on the rear of my horse carriage) and neatly swappable too. The strap has worn a little, but no cracks and they still hold true on painted metal. A USB-Charge takes about 2 hours at 1amp 5v (with a phone charger – not included in the package) you just get a USB-micro-B cable. Not had issues after use in rain/wet. JosephiTurgeon says: 01/04/2022 at These have been in use for the past two months, as my husband and kids go cycling in the evening and while all of them have different lights, these ones are on my daughter’s bike, and are the brightest and the most solid and easy to use and fit! Also, she has only had to charge them once, unlike the rest of the family who have cheaper lights and they are forever on charge! LOL! Really worth every penny! Anonymous says: 28/03/2022 at Comes in the box shown in the picture with a micro usb cable for charging , they are bit fiddly to set up , the silcone strap that you attach to the back of your bike seat slides behind the plastic clip on the back but once on it feels secure , , there is a button on the top that you press to cycle through the different modes a bit like christmas tree lights , they have fast flashing modes , slow flashing modes , bright then fade modes and then steady on all the time , it doesnt say how much modes they have in the box but i counted 7,although I could be wrong, I found the lights yo be bright even in bright lighted conditions & you also angle them for attachment, to the front of the bikes bars as well, good for the price and will keep you visible while riding Good bright bike lights Anonymous says: 11/03/2022 at I’ve started cycling round to Sunday evening cricket practice with our 9 year old on his bike and so wanted to get some lights for his mountain bike. These are nice simple and compact rechargeable lights that are impressively bright for their size and very simple to fit to the bars on any bike using the adjustable straps. They look really cool, quite sci-fi styled and modern, my son thinks they’re great! They’re nice and easy to pop off and put them on charge ready for the next time you need to use them – so much easier than the old clunky battery versions from when I was a kid! You get various modes of flashing to steady stream which are easy to toggle through. The always on mode is my preferred mode but of course my son likes the flashing ones!! Anonymous says: 02/03/2022 at These are small bike lights, of the type that can be easily attached to a seat post or handlebar stem. Each light contains 40 separate LEDs. These lights are described as daytime running lights. I found that they give a good angle of illumination and are very bright. There are flash, pulse and constant light modes. In constant mode, I found that the lights gave around 3 hours of illumination – this should be more than enough for most cyclists. You would expect far more runtime when in flashing mode, but I haven’t measured this. While running, you can see the LEDs individually rather than in a continous strip. The switches (covered and water resistant) illuminate to display the status of the battery, so you are unlikely to be caught out. Additionally, the lights are charged by a micro USB cable and charge quite quickly. Finally, there are two stretchable elastomer type straps which allow for easy fitting and removal. These lights are not designed to be primary lights, but rather to enhance your visibility, both during the day and at night. They perform this job well and I can therefore recommend them. Anonymous says: 28/02/2022 at These lights have a unique advantage to msot other light design i have seen and you can use them to see the bike at a wider angle. On the downside it is quite bulky and looks and little tacky. overall a useful set of light for improved visibility laplasina says: 20/02/2022 at These bike lights are very much for well lit city roads than country or darker road’s. Mum used these coming back from the next town over and she had to ride back roads at night, she said these lights did little to nothing to actually light up the road in front of her, she was quite shaken when she got home as she said she could barely see the road in front of her. on lamp lite paths and roads these are fine but they are NOT for darker road’s. I would invest in proper lights if your living in darker, not so well lite street’s etc. EDIT TO ADD: seller took on board my comment and amended listing to be more clear on the bike lights suitability for urban ridding so I have amended the star rating to reflect that. As Urban use bike lights these are perfectly fine. They will not blind motorist on lit roads or when used in traffic and are good enough to see on city lite streets. ValorieMcQuille says: 16/02/2022 at I really like the light output of these lights. They are very bright even during the day and the various modes of flash allow for even better visibility. The 180 degree arc of output also helps with visibility from the sides. Battery life is also good considering the size of the lights. They go for a good few hours per charge and will certainly serve us for the majority of our rides. The front light is more for visibility than for actually lighting the road so they are probably better for the urban rider rather than someone who actually needs to see where they are going. Mounting is via a silicone strap which should fit around almost any bike stem or seat post. They can be removed in seconds when you reach your destination. I would have liked to see a stronger mounting option for off road or bumpy road riding as the small clips look a bit flimsy. There are cheaper lights available but in my mind this set stands way above most others in terms of visibility, which is what I want from my bike lights, so the extra cost is worth the investment. AnthonyZBOG says: 14/02/2022 at These are good small lights that were simple to charge and attach to the bike. There are a range of settings to use whether you prefer flashing or still lighting. They did run out of battery after 4hrs riding but I do wonder if I had it on the brightest setting for the whole time. I’m not a fan of flashing bike lights without a fixed light next to it but if used in conjunction with a fixed light, these would last much longer battery wise in flashing mode and would compliment your main light perfectly. Good price and happy to recommend. Nice and brigh Anonymous says: 08/02/2022 at This LED bicycle light is great, the front light is white, the rear light is red, there are five LED light strips in the semi-circle light, which can achieve 270-degree lighting, the LED light can change 5 flashing modes, it is very beautiful, and The lights are particularly bright, and the lights can be seen from a long distance, which improves the safety of cycling at night. The bike light is attached to the bike by a silicone mounting strap, which can be adapted to all bike types, the light can be USB rechargeable, which is very convenient, I especially like this bike light. Very satisfied. Anonymous says: 04/02/2022 at Easy to attach to a seat pole, handlebars with rubber staps. The straps are difficult to get into the lights, but that means they don’t fall off. Very bright and great for daytime use, ideal for good identification and every cyclist should use one every time they get on a bike, I say this as a cyclist and as a car driver, some cyclists are suicidal wearin black at night with dim or no lights at all. Easy to charge and use, there is no excuse. Anonymous says: 04/02/2022 at This is a really well manufactured and super bright set of bike lights. They have a striking and edgy design which I far prefer over the standard circular or oblong lights that most manufacturers seem to pump out. These lights, as you would expect them to be nowadays, have an inbuilt USB rechargeable lithium ion battery. They can run for around a maximum of 20 hours (dependant on setting) on a full charge and recharge times are quick too at a mere 3 hours from empty to full. You receive two lights in the set, one standard white front light and an obligatory red back light. Other than the colour both lights are fully identical. They are charged via a micro USB cable of which only one is supplied. They are well constructed and look the bees knees in my humble opinion. They are super easy to operate too with just a simple one touch push button operation. Both lights have 5 different lighting modes for you to choose from. Modes are toggled and cycle through with a long press of the on/off button. Dependant on the mode selected, the light will have a longer or shorter maximum running time. You can have each light operate independently with the following modes and approximate run times: Constant on – 3 hours Fast flash – 7 hours Flowing flash – 7 hours Pulse – 7 hours Alternating flash – up to 20 hours The flowing flash is my favourite and looks pretty cool too as the light sweeps from left to right. I think this looks even better due to the unique design of the light as it has a 180 degree arc to its profile. Both lights come supplied with reasonably thick silicone mounting straps and each are designed with multiple openings that enable you to fit these around different sized seat posts, handlebars or seat risers. You could even attach them to your backpack or helmet should you wish. They really are quite versatile. They can be removed literally within seconds and reattached just as easily so you can take them with you should you need to leave your bike anywhere unsecured or open to the public. They are highly portable and lightweight, weighing in at just 23g each. Dimension wise they measure just 3cm by 2cm. What I particularly like though is how much power and.brightness these little beauties push out. For their size it really is quite impressive. They are rated IPX3 for water resistance which isn’t huge but they should be able to withstand rain easily enough. The charging points for each light are located on the underside of the units and have rubber bung seals which all fit really tight so I have no worries about water ingress in this area at all. Now, the only thing to point out with these lights is that they have been primarily designed to aid visibility for others to see you. For this aspect they do a really good job of helping provide you with a greater presence on the road. What they are not so great at, or at least the front light isn’t so great at, is lighting up the way ahead. For this I would use a more purpose built front light. This one just doesn’t have enough range to illuminate too far ahead. That’s the only downside I can see though as otherwise, design and quality of build is really rather good. Overall I really like this set and I am pleased I have them. I will use them as an additional visibility aid in conjunction with my other branded set of lights. The manufacturers have genuinely done a good job here, and for the price and peace of mind that comes with that, I think it represents good value for your money. Anonymous says: 01/02/2022 at usb rechargeable bright bike lights front and rear, easy to charge and holds charge well, easy to fit to the bike good value for money Anonymous says: 31/01/2022 at I’m so impressed with this set of bike lights! As a regular commuter that rides to work daily it’s important to get lights that are bright, multi-functional and have a good battery life. These lights fit the bill perfectly. Running both lights on a flashing sequence I was able to run for over 7 hours before a recharge was required which is excellent compared to other lights on the market. When they do need to be recharged using the supplied Android cable plug into a laptop or charger and basically wait until the green light goes out and then the light is recharged and ready to go. The lights can be applied easily to clothes as well as to a bike saddle stem or handle bars as required. Very quick and easy to fix so are perfect for those people that use Boris bikes or similar to finish off their commute when leaving the train or underground station. Both lights front and rear have the same array of multiple functions from strobes, flashes and solid light to suit all commuters needs. Overall highly recommend. Very bright and perfect accessory for daily commute Anonymous says: 30/01/2022 at Pleasantly surprised and really love these lights; for something so small, they really do pack a punch. The light is very bright indeed, to the point where you can use them in daylight and still be seen. They also have what I think is a unique safety feature, where they light up in a way that gives you 180 degrees of light, adding a safety aspect to the sides, and I haven’t seen that before. Once you get your head around the fact that these lights have been designed to give you the best chance of being seen, rather than this is how I’m going to light the road in front of me, you really do start to appreciate just how good they are and it’s easy to use them in conjunction with your regular lights. Mine arrived fully charged, but there is only one charging cable, so you will have to remember to swap the lights over to get both charged. The build quality is reasonable and I have no complaints there. There is a strap to attach them to the bike and the lights simply clip on from there, which can be a little fiddly, but at least you know that they’re held securely in place. Originally, I made an error and placed the front light on the handle bars, totally forgetting that it’s 180 degrees of light and the unit was on its side in that position, so it was lighting my face up in true horror movie style; in the interest of not terrifying the locals, I moved it to the only other option I had, which was the forks, but there was no issue with that and it worked perfectly. At the time of writing this review, the cost of the lights is 22.88 and I really did have to sit and ponder as to whether they’re worth that amount, and, on balance I think they are, just because the 180 degrees aspect. If I was to suggest any improvements, it would be a system where you could choose to mount the front light vertically or horizontally, as I would prefer to use it on the handlebars, but that’s a minor gripe. Happy to recommend. AlysaCouvreur says: 28/01/2022 at The Gelielim Bike Lights Set are super compact. The size is small yet the lights are good. There’s a good selection of modes which you cycle through by pressing the single button on the top. A long press turns the light on and off. While it should do a good job in making you visible, I’m not sure if it’s bright enough to see in front of you in very dark conditions. In fact it probably shouldn’t be thought of as intending to, because a wide angle light is best for being seen, but a narrow beam is better to see by. The holder straps work well, with a little elasticity to hold firm to the bike. They fit the light units very tightly. They are easy to attach and detach for recharging. Light fingered rogues may also remove them, so it may be best to take the lights with you when parked up. The charging socket is on the bottom, and covered by a little rubber stopper that fills the port. We’ve not had the weather to fully test this against rain but it seems fine, though a little concerning that it may come off at the attached end. Compac Anonymous says: 28/01/2022 at This is a good bright front and rear light, I like the different design, nice and small and discreet. You charge this via a USB cable, It doesn’t come with a charger, includes a cable, you could use a standard USB type charger or plugged in to the PC to charge. The front gives a very bright light, with good coverage, the rear is the same as front but with the red lens. Easy connection to the front and rear of the bike, build quality is excellent, much better than the price would indicate. Well made and a great price really pleased with these. Anonymous says: 27/01/2022 at I really liked these lights, although i found the recharging a hassle. This set of lights come with a white and red light, both on a strap that wraps around the frame of the bike easily and tightens to the thickness required. Unfortunately they then have to be removed to charge unless theres a plug near where you store your bike. They charge via usb and are fully charged in about 3 hours, giving you about 20 hours on the alternating flash light setting, there are also 4 other settings for the lights. The lights do give off quite a lot of illumination, making you visible on the roads. They are built reasonably well, a bit plasticky looking, but they do a good job of illuminating. I am old school and my bikes have always had the old dynamo lights, so having to take off lights to recharge regularly is a bit of a hassle, but other than that bug bear, these lights are more than adequate and a good design. Anonymous says: 27/01/2022 at These bike lights may be small, being about 35 mm by 30 mm curving out to 25 mm. but they are brighter than the love child of Albert Einstein and Carol Vodernman. You get a white light (front) and a red light (rear), both offering a good 180 light spray which really does get you seen at night from a distance. They have inbuilt rechargeable batteries which charge up using the USB lead supplied. Plug them in from the base and let them charge for a few hours and they’ll light up your bike for many miles. They are attached to the bike by a ‘rubber’ strap with hooks to secure it properly. Too turn on the lights you simply long press the button on each light. Once on you have a choice of settings, from a solid light to flashing lights, with brightness options. Sliding the straps onto the little plastic bit, I’ll call it the peg. at the back of the lights is a bit fiddly, and, at one point, I feared the plastic ‘peg’ was going to snap off making the lights no use on a bike. But it held it’s ground and the straps were on. I don’t want to take the strap off just in case I’m not sol lucky the next time. I do have to say that this does have a downside. Well, the front light does anyway. That is that the front light isn’t the best when it comes to lighting up the area ahead of you when you’re riding. This is a bit dodgy when you’re racing down a potholed, badly tarmacked road. So, for safety reasons, I kept my old light on too, just to make sure I saw the potholes before my front tyre did. In all, these light will get you see from a distance and make you safer on the roads, but the front light doesn’t show you much of what lies ahead. Hence the drop in a star. Be safe in the dark and get seen .... but don't expect to see too far ahead IndiaMcKinlay says: 26/01/2022 at These lights have 5 different modes from static to various flashing . Because the LED’s wrap around 180 degrees you can set it to flash alternating on the different elements. They are quite bright and quite compact. They are great. The negatives for me (hence only 4 stars):- Micro-usb charging (1 cable included) – I would have liked USB-C Quite difficult to fit – the plastic clip on the light is quite hard to get the strap behind and the strap is quite hard to secure Quite expensive ManuelaBrassard says: 26/01/2022 at There are plenty of cycle lights on the market and many are very similar: one white for the front and open red for the back, attached with a rubber elasticated strap and with different flashing modes. The thing that sets this set of lights apart from others and the reason I like them so much is that they 360 degree light. The are constructed so that they each curve round 180 degrees giving light not only to the front/rear but to the sides as well. They are on the more expensive end of the price scale but you can’t compare them to most other lights because of this and the extra safety they provide. Each light comes with the aforementioned elasticated band to attach them to your bike and a single USB charging cable so unless you have a spare you will only be able to recharge them one at a time. Each light has a plastic clip on the back to attach them to the elasticated band. I found this quite difficult as the plastic clip is quite strong which makes it difficult to pull it away from the light body and slide over the band. However, the good thing about this is once in place they won’t be slipping off. Another neat design feature is the rear of the lights is concave so if you are fitting them to a seat post or handlebars they sit neatly in place. One flaw in the design is if you fit the front light to the handlebars then it is turned 90 degrees meaning you don’t gate the main safety feature of it being visible from the sides. It’s fine, however, if, like me, you can attach it to the vertical handlebar stem. It would be better if there was some way of rotating the light on its mount so no matter where you mount it you could position it correctly. The front light is primarily for being seen, it isn’t bright enough to light the way, you would need a secondary light for that. That is how I use them, to be seen even during the day. I use my built in lights in addition to these for night riding. Jacob Silver says: 25/01/2022 at I like the design of these lights. They have that retro look and they work. Very well. They really are bright and are very good in helping you be seen on the road. Easy to mount onto the bicycle too and they look the part. Nicola Fumo says: 25/01/2022 at At nearly 30 this combo is not cheap. BUT the 180 “wrap around” light spread is innovative and I would prefer to use these in an urban road environment where you need as much visibility as possible. Not surprisingly, forward light projection is sacrificed. I would therefore revert to beams for country or fast night cycling. Anonymous says: 25/01/2022 at You get a front and rear light -identical in operation. They came without charge and when plugged in showed a solidgreen power indicator light on top. When charged this flashes slowly-I presume with increased frequency as the charge decays. They attach with two supplied thick silicone bands-a choice of three holes to slip the plastic hook into gives a degree of flexibility in thickness. The instructions suggest the seat post for the rear and presumably handlebars for the front. I have front and rear wire baskets and they fit snugly on both. Just as important I can quickly remove them and they are not too inclined to go off in my coat pocket or bag–they are so light you don’t know you have them. A star off because nothing is perfect and like most similar front lights they are good for being seen but will not illuminate much of the road-pretty good for the price though. Anonymous says: 24/01/2022 at The lights arrived in a very small box, containing a tiny front and rear light, two rubber straps and a USB charging cable. Both lights were fully charged out of the box and were reasonably easy to fix to the bike. I did need to bend the hard plastic strip carefully back a bit though, so I could insert the rubber strap. You can select steady or flashing mode and the brightness is enough to get you seen, but not really sufficient to illuminate the road ahead. Whilst these do meet the requirements for bike lights, their rather basic function and plastic construction does make me question the currently advertised purchase price, These are on my wife’s bike and the lights I’d previously fitted to mine are more powerful and robust (aluminium shell) and yet cost around the same price as these. Both lights function adequately, but seem a bit pricey for what you ge
