This Gentlen/JideTech camera was a brilliant choice for improving the security of my home, set-up and installation was a breeze and I’m very impressed with the features and overall quality.
It needs only one cable connection to power and operate if you use PoE. This makes installation simpler and less expensive, which also helps scaling up networks when adding new devices.
The ‘motion detection’ feature works incredibly well and you can set up email alerts to notify you when the camera detects any irregular activity.
I bought this cctv to replace my old one that broke due to rain and water. It is easy to set up. The camera housing is sturdy and waterproof! It is working great and I can see the door, porch and all the way out the sidewalk to the street. That is fantastic!
I am happy with this security camera, it is easy to set up, great resolution for daytime and nighttime. The best part is that although the camera is small, but it can be adjusted at any angle to obtain a wide field of view, which helps me to observe more of yard, because there are drunk people make noise at night time, and this camera is what I need!

The camera has a nice finish, and the quality of the video is exceptional. It comes with the necessary accessories and a user manual for help with installation, and it works with the Hik-Connect app.
Despite the cameras low profile and size, it can effectively record a large field of view which I find preferable to installing multiple cameras to serve the same purpose.
It’s suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation, I plan on buying another in a few months, this POE dome camera has far exceeded my expectations and the customer service is excellent.
I needed to install a camera for my house and this dome camera with 360 pan range does a great job for the surveillance of my home. I set it up quite easy and I have set up few devices to get the real time alerts if someone comes to my house. For example, to install it on PC you just need to download a plugin and for the phone you need the app. The camera has good 30m coverage and IR night vision with HD quality of pictures and videos.
I had an issue with the installation and I contacted the service support and they responded very promptly and explained what exactly I have to do.
The camera has a wide application and it can be installed in outdoors in garage, underground parking or outdoors with a waterproof design and motion detection ensuring that you are aware of everything what is happening on your premises.
Great value for money, definitely recommend it.

Great pic and easy to set up. I changed NVRs a few months later and then started having issues. I had forgotten my password to the camera(I won’t make that mistake again) and discovered there is no factory reset button on the camera. I e-mailed JIDE Tech and they responded very quickly and sent me instructions on how to clear the password. Unfortunately the app required would not get through my e-mail firewall. No problem I dent them the Verificcation code(required to generate a validation code) and they e-mailed me straight back with the validation code which I entered and it worked straight away. You an’t ask for quicker better service than tha
This camera is of very good quality and I thoroughly recommend it. The software out of the box is pretty good but I have an existing centralised management of CCTV that I use through Synology NAS, works great via ONVIF and using the PTZ functions are also very good.
I purchased one of these 2 weeks ago to test with my system. It worked perfectly, brilliant camera. I logged on to buy a further 2 cameras but found the price has increased by 15 in 2 weeks. Think I may have to look elsewhere.
Used the default IP address to connect to the camera using IE explorer (luckily no duplicates on my network). Changed it using the camera UI and checked it was working with PoE (streaming live and PTZ). Then setup camera through Synology surveillance station. Just remember the port number is 8999. Also when setting up auto-pan you need to set the patrol preset condition to ’41’ in the Synology ‘live view’ for it to continuously pan through your preset positions (1-16), otherwise it just stops after one cycle. The brand was set to ONVIF.
Picture quality looks good even with IR in the dark but haven’t mounted in final position yet to know for sure. Main thing is all functions look compatible with the Synology DS, and separately purchased mounting bracket (suggested by Amazon) fit perfectly.

The quality of the product is robust, outstanding and it’s out in all weathers and it’s fully rain resistant. What can i say you won’t be disappointed and i will defiantly buy another one. The after sales service is brilliant can’t fault them.

I use ISpy on the PC and IP cam viewer on the mobile.
I purchased two of the cameras. I managed to change the IP address on one of them with no problems. I have it installed and it is first class with excellent video during the day and night. I tried to change the IP address on the second one but couldn’t access the camera with the software to do it. I sent an email to the technical dept asking for advice. I received an immediate response from Wind apologising and he sent me a replacement which I received at 10am the next morning. Couldn’t ask for a better response.
I have tried a variety of security cameras and found this to be easily the best value for money. I compared this 2MP camera side by side with a 5MP camera from another manufacturer that cost 50% more. There was very little to choose between on image quality. With a 2MP camera you get a 16:9 display compared to a 4:3 with a 5MP camera…so the 2MP gives a wider view but looses on height. One thing I will say about all the dome cameras I have tried, including this one is that the vertical tilt does not go from 0-90 degrees as most imply. When tilting up it stops short of reaching the horizon. However when zoomed out you can see the horizon and some sky above it but when you zoom in you loose both. This seems to be standard for this type of camera. So the higher you mount it the further you will see when at full zoom. I will almost certainly be buying more of these.
This camerea blew me away for 85 this is a phenomenal camera. Truly amazing value for money. Picture quality is great at HD and ptz is nice and quiet motors. Only complaint it could be quicker. Zoom and focus is really good mines 4x and still delivers great quality fully zoomed in. App is really simple to use. Setup was so quick! Scans for the camera and boom! Detected and working no problems! A must have for anyone looking for a great PTZ POE CCTV system.
Picture quality is very good ,build quality is good quality, the fact that it zooms and pan’s is most useful .good point to remember is to set the camera password , and remember that app password is needed too before it will work away from home over 3G or wifi remotely.
Just completing installation of 2 cameras. On test they work extremely well and I am linking to my iPad for remote view as well. Very impressed with the documentation and the install instructions. They don’t work with Microsoft Edge but good with IE on Windows 10
Arrived very quickly and was very easy to install. Works well form my POE switch and the HiSee app gives good remote viewing access and control to the camera from my mobile phone when i’m out of the house.
Had it installed for nearly 2 weeks now and no issues. Would definitely buy again.
Neat little camera, easy to set up on my smartphone using the Xmeye app. The POE adaptor doesn’t work but that’s a minor problem.
Still to figure out how to veiw it via the cloud but I’m sure it’s not rocket science.

This is a compact and well built piece of kit no problems installing it works so good may have to buy more to cover the rest of my property.
