I love this hob except the controls. Really easy to wipe clean and does it’s job well. However, the controls are dIfficult to see

I never had an induction hob before and heard it was the best to get. The hob is so easy to clean (you just need a wet cloth so it doesn’t scratch the surface). It warms up very quickly comperated to a ceramic hob and cools down fast after switching it off.
It looks so elegant and it is super easy to use. I highly recommend it.
I needed a temporary electric induction hub. This one is very easy to use. All you have to do is plug it.

The hob is really slim meaning that it “fits in” with any kitchen and looks really stylish. It works fantastic for small kitchens at it takes quite minimal amount of space. Easy to clean and works really well
Brilliant little induction hob. We used this as a temporary measure during our kitchen refurb and it really was a godsend.
Cut hole, place in hole, plug it in. That’s really it.
The hob is really fast works great with the right pans.
It works well enough. However the electrical flex could have been longer.
The hob was part of a New kitchen. A new outlet was installed with-in the next kitchen unit this proved to be too far apart due to the short length of the flex. There is no means of getting into the hob to wire in a longer flex.
A Really great induction hob at a fantastic price.
The controls are easy to use and the lock function is essential where little fingers can be tempted to play. Highly recommend.

I purchased a second hob and it was faulty. Sent back to Amazon, hopefully this one will work.
Quite thick and like the on off switch on the end which means you can place length ways or side way
I bought this for my daughters apartment. Heats up a pan of water to boiling very quickly. A neat hob.
It keeps turning off without reason
It shows error messages that do appear in the instruction manual,
And blatantly does not work,!!
Having had an amazing meal with uncooked sausages! I require immediate resolution
If that is not forthcoming I will require a replacement
Since writing this review, Gionien have exchanged email. I can confirm they do respond within a few hours, as they state.
My problem was to do with clarity of instructions and I thought the item was not responding as it should. They have responded and as far as I can tell the item is working correctly. I have suggested they may wish to add some clarity to their instruction manual. The hob does work well following the additional instructions provided

We got this product for a granny annex as yet it has not been used but it looks very good.
Works really well, the boost function gives practically instant heat, seems really efficient. The fan can be a bit noisy and seems to run on forever after use but If it helps it last longer that’s fine by me

It works fantastically well, as well as looking the part. I love the compact two plate nature. Controls are fantastic and it heats up much more quickly than I thought it would. One of the star ratings for this is “easy to clean” and I have to say that as it’s a glass induction hob the usual cleaning rules apply!
It’s really good quality so I’m bowled over with this for the price.
