Had for a couple of years now – no qualms, at all. Good quality product, will recommend. Battery lasts a good 45 mins & I bought a spare (just in case) which interchanges with the hedge trimmer I bought from Greenworks too, which is also very good quality.
I think I very nearly gave the Amazon server a heart attack while I convinced myself to buy this, put it in the cart, convinced myself it was a waste of money, deleted it from my cart. Rinse and repeat. Finally, I became so annoyed with myself I just bought the thing. And it is a fabulous new toy!
I remember reading in another review that the cut height is low at default so I wound it up to the middle setting, charged the batteries, and headed into the wild green yonder.
This is a revelation. It is light, quiet, easy to manoeuvre. It takes a while to start spinning the blade, but stops the moment you release the handle. It has a brilliant mulching feature which limits the trips backwards and forwards round in about the garden.
Setup is easy if a little fiddly. The only part where I bumped was looking for figure 1.9 the instructions are supposedly in a universal style, which means no one can work out what to do.
While there is no chance in this lifetime for me to become an Alan Titchmarsh clone, I think that for a while at least my lawn may be one of the best cut in my neighbourhood.
Quiet, cuts well and easy to manoeuvre. I’m pleased I got the two battery version – one isn’t enough for our medium sized lawn when the grass is growing quickly.
This was a replacement for my old Greenworks Cordless Mower that sadly conked out after many, many years of great service to me. Personally, for its size, I think it’s one of the best Cordless Mowers on the Market. It’s not great at cutting wet grass but what Mower is. Slightly heavier than a normal electric Mower. I own other Garden Equipment made by Greenworks and they all work off the same size battery. 40V Lithium-2.0Ah. Newer batteries are larger in size but again they all fit the Greenworks range of Tools.
It is lightweight so the fact that it doesn’t self propel is not a problem.
It doesn’t like long grass and cuts out when the going gets tough.
I have a small lawn yet one battery charge does not finish the lawn. As this came with two batteries this was not an issue.

I’ll admit, I was sceptical about the cutting ability from battery alone, but my scepticism was alleviated as soon as I hit the power button.
Cuts with ease, good range of level settings, stores away compactly, collects all the clippings.

I’m happy with the mower but the battery isn’t great, think I might have to get another one because I can’t mow all of my lawn before it runs out of charge unfortunately
What a fantastic machine. Lightweight and easy to move about. Battery gives you plenty of cutting time, which was important when we were choosing a lawn mower as we have quite a bit of grass and didnt wanna faff about with cables…or chopping it in half! This Greenworks mower was recommended to us and I’m now recommending it.

I purchased this lawn mower (without a battery) as i already had other batteries from other green works tools that i had. At first i hated this lawn mower, as i could not put it together correctly and found that it was too low for me, compared to my petrol mower. There is no height adjustment on this mower, not helped by the fact that i had the handle incorrectly placed, once i realised the issue, the height problem disappeared, although if you are quite tall, i am only 5’8″ i can imagine this could be a bit of an issue. However, overall the mower works well, it is noisier than i was expecting, but i can cut my grass on one battery charge for 25/30 mins without any issues. Like all lawn mowers it does not like overly long grass, so it needs to be set at its highest point at the start of a season or after a 2 week holiday.
As with other green works products they are great to use and have, but the initial instructions are pretty rubbish as i found out again this time around, I had previously purchased a strimmer, power washer, and hedge trimmer, but they came with batteries so now a have a stock of 3 that i can rotate across everything. One big plus, is that i do not have to take a petrol can down to get it filled anymore.

I had to recently return this under the 2 year warranty. Either the batteries would no longer hold charge or the charger would not charge them. The lawnmower struggles to cut longer grass and drains the battery. It also fails to go into the collection box and instead just clumps around the blade all the time. It was however a quiet lawnmower compared to others, it was easy to adjust the height and folded down for storage. I was just unlucky and had one that failed. I have a big back lawn and this lawnmower just wasn’t up to the job.
Superb machine. Works brilliant and has turned. 1hr job into a 10 minute one. Love it.
Good little lawnmower with good power, so much easier with cordless
This is a lightweight lawnmower,excellent and easy to use especially for us more mature citizens. It is smaller than I thought it would be but I’m very happy with it.
When the lawnmower was delivered the box was marked as having heavy contents. The box markings were not incorrect!
The grass desperately needed a cut and got one. First cut of the year. The lawnmower coped with the long and uneven grass, was easy to use and just as easy to clean. Well impressed, by a humble lawnmower.
No problem with the batteries as they have a little button, that when pressed, shows the charge state of the battery. Also have other cordless equipment from the same manufacturer and was hoping that the batteries were interchangeable. They appear to be.
This lawnmower replaces my previous cordless lawnmower, mainly replaced due to the inability to get spare batteries for the old lawnmower. My sons will benefit!
