At first the batteries come half charged and I initially tried to cut the lawn with one. It didnt finish half of it so make sure you charge them before you try to use them. After I charged the batteries and used it for the second time it was great. It cut my lawn easily on one battery with half left, which was more then enough to plug in their battery strimmer and use the remaining battery for that. Even after strimming, it still had half of charge left. My grass was pre cut from last time but wet and it is a thick fertilised lawn. I also use it on the mulching function, which will most certainly put more strain on the blades and battery.
My lawn isn’t level either its got bumps and divots in it all over so its had its work cut out. It does bog down a little but not enough to stop it cutting the grass. Although my mains corded one, which was a bosch used to bog down on some areas.
First impression was very quiet. Unbelievably quiet actually. It is however very heavy. Mine being the 41cm one. Don’t expect light weight my bosch one although mains powered and only 36cm, was alot lighter and I’m a young bloke.
I’m yet to use the bagging system but I have no doubt that will work fine. I mainly bought it for the mulching and being battery operated.
My lawn size is around 11m x 7m so not a bad size lawn and I’m not discharging a full 2.0amp hour battery and I have two!
The pictures are after I cut the lawn on setting 3. It has 6 settings. I’m more then happy with that length. I dont want it really short as I have a dog.
The only thing I was disappointed by was the fact it doesnt have a roller, that would of been a nice finish to this machine.

Bought this on Prime day after lots of research on cordless mowers. Took 10 minutes to put together and once battery was sufficiently charged i set it to work on my lawn. One a single charge i managed to complete two cuts with the blade set at different heights, first at level 4 and then at level 2. Gave a great cut and the grass box was suffficiently large enough to capture all cuttings. All in all i’m delighted with the lawnmower and can’t wait to use it properly next year.
Really like it, I have a lot of garden for which I use other larger diesel machines, but wanted something light and manoeuvrable to cut banks and other tricky areas. This is perfect for slopes as there is no issue unlike petrol engines with oil. I like the fact it is instant and has no significant maintenance. In terms of cut, it is pretty good, where the grass is thicker you just take it slower and it leaves a great finish. For the money I would say it is really not bad at all. If your garden is not too big then it could easily be your main machine.
Fast delivery. Seems better dealing with longer grass than the previous alternative probably due its weight and 40v battery

This is a great little lawnmower, lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, great not having electric cables to worry about or filling up with petrol. The only problem I had was trying to click in battery, it took ages before I got it to work, it just wouldn’t click in. Managing better on second cut. Would definitely recommend this machine.

Fantastic all round. We have lived with this mower most of the Summer and it has been brilliant. It’s seen some abuse too as our garden isn’t exactly a bowling green. Lots of lumps and bumps and loads of trees = leaves and twigs so it’s a great vacuum cleaner too. Would recommend 100%
Good mower if grass is not too damp and long. Used both batteries quite quickly last time out. Much cheaper than a Gtech just wished I had waited 2 weeks for the reduced price !!!!!
Super cut really easy to use. Much better than my pull start petrol.

Marre de la tondeuse thermique qu’il faut abreuver. Marre de la tondeuse lectrique dont il faut grer le fil. Cette tondeuse sur batterie est un parfait compromis… condition de n’avoir pas trop de terrain. La maniabilit est trs correcte, elle n’est pas trop brillante. J’ai fini par jeter mon dvolu sur modle 40V, avec chargeur et deux batteries 2Ah, d’une part pour sa largeur de coupe 41 cm, d’autre part pour sa polyvalence (tonte normale, tonte en mulching).
Bonne surprise lorsque j’ai dball le gros colis !
J’ai russi la sortir seule, son poids total tant trs raisonnable et la monter en deux temps trois mouvements, puisque seule la poigne doit tre remonte, clipse et visse.
Premier petit miracle !
Il suffit, ensuite, de charger fond les deux batteries pour utiliser la tondeuse.
Ces dernires sont faciles clipser sur le chargeur, puis enlever et insrer sur la tondeuse.
Elles possdent des indicateurs de charge, ce qui permet de vrifier avant utilisation le reste utiliser.
Deuxime miracle, j’ai tout compris et russi sans aucun effort !
Mon jardin faisant 400 m2 et l’herbe ayant bien pouss, j’ai utilis une batterie entire lors de mon premier passage en coupe haute, puis un peu de la deuxime batterie pour terminer le deuxime passage en coupe basse. Ceci dit, j’aurais pu choisir un autre mode de coupe, puisqu’il existe 5 choix de hauteurs diffrentes.
La tonte classique est facilite par son grand bac de rcupration facile mettre et enlever pour le vider et, cerise sur le gteau, pour les petites tontes il suffit d’enlever le bac et laisser l’outil spcifique pour un paillage menu laisser sur le terrain que demander de plus.
Troisime miracle et pas des moindres !
Cette tondeuse est super facile utiliser, le dmarrage se faisant en 2 secondes en appuyant sur le bouton et la anse du guidon.
Elle est trs maniable et, surtout, lgre, facile dplacer sans aucune force requise.
Pour les femmes moins costaudes que leurs conjoints muscls, de petit gabarit de surcroit avec mes 45 kg tous mouills, c’est vraiment un trs bon point.
Je dteste tondre, mais je dois dire que, pour une fois, on ne m’a pas entendue rler contre le fil et sa super rallonge qu’il faut dployer, surveiller pour ne pas les couper, puis remballer, ni contre la lourdeur de l’engin essence et ses difficults de dmarrage quand j’y arrivais.
Calme et srnit complets se sont installs dans mon jardin !
Je sors la tondeuse, je dmarre et c’est parti pour un tour complet de la surface sans stress, rapidement et avec une facilit dconcertante.
Sachant qu’en plus les batteries sont compatibles avec plusieurs engins de la mme marque, je pense acheter galement le coupe bordure pour fignoler le travail.
En conclusion :
Cette tondeuse est un rel plaisir utiliser tant pour sa facilit d’emploi, que ses performances et son peu de bruit.

Could do with being a little lighter, if you have to lift the machine it is heavy. and its lowest cutting settings could do with being a slight bit lower. But great quality machine (this may be why it is heavy)
I have had a petrol lawn mower for ages however, my two year old lawn mower has now gone faulty. Not impressed so on a neighbour’s recommendation bought a battery lawn mower. Totally impressed but you do need two batteries as by the time I’ve done the front and back the seconded one was needed. That said the battery does charge quickly but when you’ve started a job you just want it finished. I’ve just got what I call a normal size garden nothing flash, it takes no more than 20 minutes to do the whole lot.
Works well and give a good trim. So easy to charge and when you want use instantly starts. As with my garden it is in and out of the trees I don,t miss the self drive as it is so manoeuvrable.
Absolutely loved the mower HOWEVER one of the batteries cut out with 2 lights still showing[ half charged] the second time it was used.

Very pleased with this lawnmower which was bought to replace a petrol one. Much easier to use and much lighter. Cuts my lawns really well and the grass box is a very good size so don’t have to empty it so ofte
It was a little heavier than we expected but does a good cut when at its lowest level. We worked out that we needed to use both batteries to cut our lawn as it takes the full 40 minutes to cut it and each battery lasts 20 minutes.
La tondeuse est livre avec deux batteries de 2 ampres heures qui dure peu prs 20 mn chacune, insuffisante pour un terrain de 600 m.
Il vous faudra donc investir dans une batterie supplmentaire. J’ai achet une batterie supplmentaire de 6 ampres heure et l, c’est parfait pour faire tout mon jardin (elle dure enviorn 1 heure).
Une fois votre batterie supplmentaire achete (soit 1h40 avec les 3 batteries), le produit est fabuleux, pas d’entretien comme une thermique, et pas de fil pour vous embter comme une filaire. Le bruit est galement moindre (toutefois pas suffisamment pour vous autoriser tondre un dimanche …).
La marque est galement de qualit et le SAV ractif et l’coute.

With 1 batt/charge you get a good 20min cutting time and then there is a 2nd battery.
This mower seems very easy to handle and after struggling with a temperamental and cumbersome petrol mower, the job is much less of an grind. Some might suggest the ease of movement is reflected in the “build”. Some of the adjustments are different from a heavy traditional mower so read the instructions before steaming in.
The batteries (i have two) are lasting me about 30-40 minutes, depending on grass length (or the cutting length you’ve chosen) and if one runs out i just put the other straight on charge. Good product so far.
What a cracking piece of kit. Has come with 2 x 2ah batteries on a full charge it easily cut my back lawn (please excuse the washing). When I put the battery back on charge it still had two lights left on it. The petrol lawn mower has seen its day as has the corded one. This is a superb piece of kit for the money. My grass area is just over 600m2 and takes 1 and1.1/4 batteries to cut it. Batteries are very easy to change. I can’t see me going back to a petrol mower very pleased with this model.

This was delivered very promptly. It is a bit heavier than I expected, but not excessively so. It went together easily with reasonable instructions in the usual pictorial form. I find this type of instructions rather difficult at times, but as there was not much to actually do it was fine.
So, I charged the battery and set forth on my allotment to mow the surrounding paths and areas nearby. There was some quite long grass which required cutting on the higher setting and then again on a lower setting. But this was no more of a problem than using a petrol mower in the same situation.
The grass collector took a really good amount of grass and I didn’t have any problem with it overfilling and dropping cuttings on the ground. I haven’t used the mulching accessory so I have no opinion about that.
Changing cutter height is OK but it feels like it might not work well for long. We will see.
Battery life was maybe not as long as I would like, though I did challenge the machine with some fairly long grass.
I think the life will be fine for my uses, so long as I don’t neglect the mowing. If necessary I would be happy to purchase a second battery.
The charger was sufficiently rapid. I do find the odd little red safety “plug thing” a bit strange. Easy to lose as other reviewers have noted.
All in all I am very pleased with my purchase. Price-wise it is reasonable compared with some other more well known brands. But I didn’t want to spend loads of money for a device to use on my allotment. So a good compromise.
Would I recommend it to others? Yes, so long as you don’t need to cut a lot of heavy, long grass. But considering this is a “lawn mower” I thought it did very well on my sloping and uneven allotment paths.

Came in good time, easy to assemble. Two batteries. I cut my lawn using only one battery,it’s easy to alter the cutting setting. Good price very pleased with it.
‘Assembly’ is screwing 2 big plastic nuts to join the handle, two clips to keep the cable secure and slotting the grass collector in… so simple I cant understand why some reviewers found this difficult enough to knock stars off. The safety key is already in place and I never ever felt the need to remove it from my old one so cant imagine having a reason to remove this one (a reviewer also knocked stars off because they damaged the key and couldnt get a replacement)
The machine is powerful, lightweight, manoeuverable and very reasonably priced. 260 for the 40v 41cm blade with 2 batteries. I have only used it 3 times so far but am pleased with its performance, the battery capacity is great compared with my old mowers 24v one which means I can mow my thick, lumpy, uneven, weed ridden, stick infested lawn using the 2 batteries, it does cut out now and then(safety feature) because I am very abusive to my mowers and force them over patches of lawn that should really be strimmed first, it restarts immediately though.
All in all, so far, it’s a great purchase, the delivery was quick, price great very glad I purchased, especially at the price I paid because looking now i cant see it at that cheap price.

What’s not to like, no more hideous cords. I can use this fabulous mower to mow our front and rear lawns and I did the neighbour’s too and it still only used 20% of the battery. I never even needed to look at the manual, still haven’t, very obvious and easy to set up, not super lightweight but easy to manoeuvre around the lawn. What used to be a weekly chore is now something I look forward to. I love it so much I just bought the Greenworks Strimmer which uses the same batteries.

Did a little looking around, made the choice in the end due to the delivery time during the current restricted period. Arrived on schedule, assembled with ease, batteries had enough charge to mow my small front lawn. Lightweight, nimble, collects the grass with ease, easy to clean and fold away!! So impressed Ive ordered the strimmer to match!

It cuts just as well as a corded or petrol mower but never runs out of petrol or cuts through the cable or requires a superhuman effort to get it started. You just have to get used to pressing the button and pulling the bar (in the opposite order to a petrol mower 🙂 and you’re off.
I did have a problem at the outset. To cut a long story short, one of the batteries was faulty and it took out the charger. (Though they are amazing compared with older types of battery, lithium ion batteries are still a relatively new technology and can have their teething problems.) But I got in touch with Tools4Garden and they promptly replaced the faulty battery and dead charger with no fuss. Everything is now working perfectly and I’d never go back to petrol or using a cable mower.
It is reasonably quiet running and is the 2nd machine i have . The first machine ran for many years.
The battery lasts for two fairly large lawns before needing to make the change.
If you want to give the grass a short ,well trimmed cut This is NOT the machine to do it.
I lowered the cut to position one and was immediately disappointed, It has left the lawn looking like it needs another cut
Again if you like a striped finish, there is no back roller to do that.

Je tourne avec deux batteries pour ma tondeuse et mon coupe bordure
Suffisamment d’autonomie pour l’entretien de mon terrain de 500m2, mais trs limit lors des premires coupe de saison ou si l’herbe est trop haute.
J’ai longtemps hsit prendre une tondeuse sans fil me disant que les versions filaires pourraient me suffire au vu de la surface tondre.
Et bien je suis content d’avoir pris une version sans fil car je ne me rendais pas compte du nombre de marche avant/ arrire qu’il faut faire avec un petit jardin !!! Du coup le sans fil prends tout son sens.
Perso le terrain est dcoup en 2 parties, et il me reste encore 50% de la batterie aprs avoir utilis cette tondeuse + le coupe bordure de la mme marque .
La tondeuse coupe trs bien par contre ds que l’herbe est un peu humide ou pour couper des herbes plutt grasses, il faut oublier la fonction mulching car il va vite y avoir du bourrage.
Le manque de pice de rechange ma inquit du coup j’ai russi commander une lame de rechange sur Mower Magic Ltd pour un prix de 29.75 le plus cher tant la tva et les frais de ports (lame 12.79).
La lame est exactement la mme que celle d’origine ref 333161559.

Cutting the grass can now be done without the care and attention needed to avoid cutting a cord. This speeds the whole process up considerably.
Bit flimsy. Handlebar fixings are weak and poorly designed. Doesn’t cope well with grass more than approx. 150mm long. Don’t know why the User Guide tells the user not to use the machine in a backwards direction. Can anyone explain this.
Jardin de 500 m, utilisation d’une batterie et un peu de la deuxime en mulching.
Very lightweight compared with the petrol mower I was replacing. 1st use the grass was long and my large lawn the 1st battery ran out just 2 rows to go so swapped the battery. Next few mows have only used about 3/4 of one battery so owning 2 might be overkill!
After switching from a petrol mower the first thing that hits you is how light it is. Then when you start it – boy it’s quiet!! Also where my petrol mower would stall often in long grass this kept going and going. No need for the shoulder wrenching pull cord here!
The cut is superb. I’ve decided to keep the mulcher in and not use the basket grass collector. The grass does seem to disappear with some initial clumping after the first cut due to the length. Subsequent cuts and the amount of loose grass left on the lawn is diminished to virtually nil within 2 weeks. Height adjustment is easy and very happy with the lowest setting – certainly wouldn’t want to cut the grass any shorter than that.
I think it is well built, sturdy and strong. Easy to use. Very light and quiet. Very pleased with the battery life and the ease of charging.

This is a very quiet and efficient lawn mower. It handled an almost jungle like lawn with ease (as it had been a while since we last tackled the grass). We bought 2 batteries and it was definitely worth it as we only managed 3/4 on the first battery.
Very good cuts very well good runtime with two batteries picks up well
l am 63 and have a bit of joint problems so pushing it up a slight slope is not easy. Apart from that, great. Having 2 batteries was a good idea for when l haven’t quite done. One problem l have now is getting someone to take away 3 old mowers stored in the garage. Best bit is l don’t have to get the extension lead out and keep watching to see if its going to rain. Only used it once so far but look forward to next mow.

I am very pleased with my Greenworks mower, it is very easy to use and cuts really nicely. The only negatives for me are that one of the batteries seems to last longer than the other, but having two means it’s not too much of an issue. Also, the fold-away handle frame can be a bit fiddly. On the whole though, it’s a great mower and I would definitely recommend it.
Wish I bought one years ago. The battery does the job. No more messing around the extension leads or cables. The mulching function means there is no need to collect the grass or send it to landfill.

Only one cut but seems a cracking piece of kit. I have a fair sized lawn and it did it no bother. Nice solid build and quite effortless to use.
Super tondeuse, lgre, maniable, silencieuse, robuste. La dure de batterie 2 Ah 50 minutes environs. La tonte est nette, propre. a me change de ma tondeuse thermique qui faisait 20 kg de plus. La tonte devient un vrai plaisir. Je la conseille vraiment. Trois ans plus tard, a fonctionne toujours merveille. C’est vraiment une super tondeuse.
This mower was simple to put together, the battery life is good, it works hard when the grass is long and therefore does not last as long as when the lawn is at maintain length. Very very pleased with this mower.
It will cut my rear garden (in the picture) and also my front garden (much smaller) on 50% of the battery. I bought 2 batteries but have yet to need both.

Das Design empfinde ich als sehr ansprechend und modern. Das Handling des Akkus ist mehr als einfach und klappt ohne Probleme. Aufgeladen sind die mitgelieferten Akkus in krzester Zeit. Mit einer Akkuladung lsst sich die Flche (sehr niedriger Rasen) ca. 2,5 mal mhen (350 qm). Als praktisch empfinde ich auch die Ladestatus-Anzeige am Akku.
Das Schnittbild des Rasens ist optimal, ein schner glatter Schnitt.
Einziger Wehmutstropfen, die Hhenverstellung des Mhwerks ist etwas umstndlich gelst – Knopf drcken, Mher komplett anheben. Knnte auch einfacher gehen.
Positiv berrascht war ich von der Gre des Fangkorbes. Hier passt wirklich eine Menge Grnzeug rein!
Insgesamt ein tolles Produkt zu einem fairen Preis-Leistungsverhltnis.
Does what it is meant to: Cut grass! It does this well and efficiently. The 2 batteries it came with are essential because battery life is not long.
This machine cuts the grass beautifully and the battery lasts exactly as long as the makers claim.
In other words, my lawn size happens to be the size they say a battery will last for.
I bought this in conjunction with the same manufacturers strimmer and they both work well as a pair.
The blade is not as long as more expensive models meaning more trips up and down the garden. Weigh this up against the ease of mowing and for me it wins hands down.
I mowed 180m square metre garden (almost exactly 10 m by 18 m) draining half a 2 amp battery each time. Once I did a long cut after the winter and then a shorter cut straight afterwards and the battery had no lights when pressed but equally did not run out.
I had a self propelled petrol mower which died from lack of maintenance and this mower is so much easier. My garden is on a slope – not extreme – but this represented no difficulty.
The cut goes very low if needed and is very easy to adjust as it is spring loaded – to low for me to use as I have a poorly maintained moss filled lawn.
You can easily see how full the bag is by lifting the plastic flap a little – no need to remove bag to see.
There is a one second delay on starting as the blade gets up to speed but this is really very short and hardly noticeable.
If cutting a thick long patch the motor struggles as did my petrol mower but if you go slowly through it it copes well – not great for the lawn I know.
Folding the mower arm really is as easy as it looks.
Note hat the model I bought had no batteries or charger – I already had them.
In summary I am really pleased I got this as mowing is so much easier and the power seems more than adequate.
The mowing is neat and it does a great job of picking up the grass in the bag. All in all a great buy.

Trs bon produit. Avec l’habitude je fais dsormais tout mon jardin avec une seule batterie. En fait l’accessoire mushing est dj mont contrairement ce qu’indique la notice. Les vidos sur iTunes aident pour la mise en route.
Wie beschrieben bin sehr zufrieden dieser Rasenmher ist zu empfehlen. habe Ihn sofort getestet und habe meine 400 m Rasen in 35 Minuten geschafft.
Voici une tondeuse peu encombrante et facilement maniable mais qui convient videmment de petites surfaces.
Elle est belle, bien designe, avec une jolie couleur verte-pomme et colo,
Evidemment, pas de moteur thermique donc par d’odeur de carburant et de bruit lev ; pas non plus de fil traner, manipuler, et viter de sectionner !
Elle est dote de deux fonctions de collecteur et mulching, cette dernire tant vraiment sympathique sauf si vous tes rigoriste de l’apparence de votre gazon, et elle dispose de six hauteurs de coupe selon les terrains ou les saisons.
L’insertion et le retrait des batteries est facile mais la dure de vie des batteries est videmment la limite de cette tondeuse. Il est possible d’acqurir de nouvelles batteries pour ne pas avoir s’interrompre mais ces mmes batteries sont plutt chres.
Das Gute daran ist, dass man nur einmal in den sauren Apfel beien muss, indem man ein Ladegert und ein oder zwei Akkus kauft. Da die Akkus auf alle Gerte der 40V-Serie passen, braucht man spter nur noch die Solo-Gerte zu kaufen, die es teilweise schon fr sehr wenig Geld zu haben gibt.
Der Greenworks Tools 2504707UC Akku-Rasenmher ist ein Gert fr Einsteiger in das 40V-Programm, da es sowohl Ladegert als auch gleich 2 Akkus enthlt – wenn man den Rasenmher als Solo-Gert erwirbt, wird er deutlich gnstiger.
Greenworks Tools ist ein rein chinesischer Hersteller, der aber dank starkem Wachstum inzwischen ber Vertriebszentren sowohl in den USA als auch in Europa verfgt. Qualitativ gibt es bei den Produkten nichts zu beanstanden – man setzt hier konsequent auf Kunststoff, jedoch durchaus hochwertig verarbeitet. Die Leistung der Motoren ist sehr gut – so auch bei diesem Rasenmher, den ich im Herbst auf unseren Rasenflchen von ca. 700 qm einsetzen konnte. Mit einem Akku wre so eine Flche ohne Zwischenstopp nicht zu bewltigen, mit den beiden 2Ah-Akkus jedoch kein Problem.
Der Mher ist recht leicht und lt sich dank der grozgigen Rder gut bewegen – auch ohne eigenen Radantrieb. Die Schnitthhe ist bequem in mehreren Stufen einstellbar, das Schnittgut landet in dem ausreichend bemessenen Grasfangkorb. Die Schnittbreite betrgt ca. 41 cm – damit kann man auch groe Flchen recht zgig abarbeiten. Zudem ist dieser Akku-Mher auch noch angenehm leise – unser alter kabelgebundener Elektromher war mehr als doppelt so laut. Mit dem Greenworks-Gert kann man eigentlich zu jeder Tages- und Nachtszeit mhen, ohne jemandem auf die Nerven zu gehen.
Gute Erfahrungen konnte ich bisher auch mit dem Kundenservice von Greenworks Tools machen – ein Ladegert war defekt und wurde ohne Wenn und Aber schnell gegen ein neues ausgetauscht.
Fazit: Ein leistungsstarker und leiser Akku-Rasenmher, der im Set mit 2x 2Ah-Akkus gengend Leistung auch fr grere Flchen bringt – ausgezeichnet!
Mit einem Gewicht von etwas ber 20 Kilogramm ist er leichter als unser alter Rasenmher und dank der groen Rder kann man ihn sehr gut lenken und schieben, allerdings strt es ein wenig, dass man den Metallbgel permanent halten muss, um den Motor am Laufen zu halten. Die Griff-Flche ist allerdings gummiert, damit die Vibrationen etwas abgefangen werden.
Die mitgelieferten Akkus (Ladeanzeige vorhanden) waren vorgeladen, brauchten dann noch ca. 30 Minuten, bis sie ganz voll waren — bei unserer kleinen Rasenflche kommen wir mit einem Akku gut hin — die Akkus sind mit anderen Gerten von Greenworks kompatibel, das gefllt mir sehr gut. Das kabellose Mhen ist wesentlich komfortabler als mit einem strenden Elektrokabel.
Die Motorleistung betrgt 40 V und der Motor wirkt sehr kraftvoll, er schafft ganz schn was weg. Die Lautstrke ist wesentlich leiser als bei unserem alten elektrischen Modell, was ebenfalls eine deutliche Verbesserung fr uns darstellt-
Der Grasfangkorb hat eine groe ffnung und lsst sich unkompliziert abnehmen und auch wieder aufsetzen. Er bietet ein groes Volumen von 50 l und so brauchen wir nicht zwischendrin unterbrechen um den Korb auszuleeren.
Mein Fazit: Ein toller Akkurasenmher, der uns mit seiner guten Verarbeitung und der guten Mhleistung berzeugt hat — und hey, ich muss es einfach sagen; die leuchtend grne Gehusefarbe ist total genial. 5 zufriedene Sternchen von uns.

Grundstzlich war ich mit dem Mher immer sehr zufrieden. hnlich wie bei der aktuellen Dieseldebatte wurden aber auch da die Herstellerangaben bezglich der Akku-Kapazitt definitiv nie eingehalten. Auch damals war mir schon bewusst, dass dies Werte unter optimalen Bedingungen gemessen worden sind. ( Rasendichte, Mhhhe- tiefe, Unebenheiten. Akku-Ladezyklen etc.. )
Tja…und dann kam Greenworks Tools….!
Ca. 100 gnstiger, Ergonomie-Gewinn durch zentralisierte oberflurige Hhenverstellung, absolut berzeugendes untereinander kompatibles Akku-System. Gewichtsersparnis gegenber dem Rotak von knappen 5kg ( Mhbreitenbereinigt beim 41er! ) Und auch das ist mitunter wichtig fr Leute wie ich, die Rcken haben….!
Und ganz ehrlich hatte mich bei dem Premium-Hersteller B.sch immer am meisten gestrt, dass das Akku-System untereinander nicht kompatibel ist/war. Denn jeder Haus & Gartenbesitzer hat doch weitere zustzliche Gerte und mchte dazu nicht noch weitere Akkugren und Ladeschalen etc. rumliegen haben.
Bei Greenworks Tools gilt daher: einer fr alles !!!
Ansonsten nehmen sich die 2 Gerte-Hersteller wenig. Der Greenworks Tools kam ebenfalls vormontiert, ist auch ohne Bedienungsanleitung in knappen 10 Minuten Mhbereit. Die Akkus hatten im Lieferzustand bereits eine Grundladung: Nummer 1 war in knappen 20 Min. voll, Nummer 2 brauchte etwas ber eine halbe Stunde.
In der Praxis dann relative Identitt zum B.sch. Fr knappe 400qm Rasenflche brauchte ich auch hier rund 1 1/2 Akkuladungen. Auch lautstrketechnisch unterscheiden sich die Hersteller da kaum. Gleiches gilt fr Material- und Mhqualitt. Wobei gerade bei letzterem Greenworks Tools bei beiden Schnittbreiten marginal besser abschneidet, zumal der groe mit Schnittbreite 45cm dann noch die Mulchfunktion und eine modifizierte Fllstandsanzeige des Grasfangkorbs hat.
Und auch die unterschiedliche Schnitthhenverstellung kommt mir und meinem Rasen beim Greenworks Tools eher entgegen:
41 cm = 5fach = Mhhhen 25mm – 80mm = 18 kg inkl. Akku = 379 VK Amazon
45 cm = 7fach = Mhhhen 19mm – 76mm = 22.2 kg inkl. Akku = 399 VK Amazon
Allein schon aus Gewichtsgrnden ziehe ich daher die 41cm Schnittbreite dem 45er vor. Bei der unteren Schnitthhe von 19mm blieb dann auch der groe GW Tools permanent stehen, da mein Rasen ( leider ) sehr uneben verlegt wurde. Grundstzlich gilt, dass gerade bei unebenem Rasen alle Akku-Mher schnell an ihre Grenzen stoen, mitunter stehen bleiben, und letztendlich zerrt dies unweigerlich am Akku. Insofern ist also gerade das Thema Akku-Laufzeit sehr sensibel zu bewerten.
Fr mich passt hier aber alles und fr beide Modelle gilt eine 5 Sterne Bewertung. Gegenber dem Deutschen Markenhersteller haben beide jeweilige Vorteile, mal ganz abgesehen vom einheitliche Akku System. Speziell da wird es B.sch nun zuknftig aber schwer haben.
Tja, Konkurrenz belebt den Markt. Das ist gut so, speziell fr uns Kunden !
Die Bedienung gestaltet sich auch einfach, der Akku lsst sich einwandfrei einsetzen und die Schnitthhe seitlich problemlos einstellen. Der Fangkorb wird lediglich eingehngt und ist somit schnell und einfach zu entnehmen und wieder einzusetzen. Aufgrund des verhltnismig geringen Gewichts und des Tragegriffs, kann er auch alleine gut getragen werden wenn ntig.
Das Mhergebnis kann sich auch sehen lassen, der Rasenmher mht gut und sauber. Auch das jetzt auf dem Rasen liegende Laub in unserem Garten wird anstandslos weggemacht.
Die beiden Akkus sind schnell aufgeladen und knnen somit abwechselnd verwendet werden. Eine vollstndige Ladung des 2Ah-Akkus betrgt ca. 1 Stunde.
Zum Verstauen lsst sich das Griffgestnge einklappen.
Nach den ersten beiden Einstzen gibt es auf jeden Fall nix zu meckern. Fr Rasenflchen bis ca. 500 qm ist der Rasenmher gut geeignet wie ich finde.

1. Fr meine Hndin. Sie konnte es erst gar nicht fassen, dass das ein Rasenmher sein soll. Keine Fehlzndungen mehr, die zum groen Zittern fhren, wie sonst nur die bescheuerten Silvesterknaller. Und eine Arbeitslautstre, die nicht sehr viel lauter als Frauchens Turbofn ist.
2. Fr meine Nachbarn. Denn sie merken nicht mal mehr, wenn der Rasen gemht wird. Egal ob sie gerade drauen Geburtstag feiern oder ein Schlfchen halten. Der Mher ist auch direkt neben dem Zaun kaum als Gartengert hren.
2. Vor mir selbst. Wow! Ohne jede bertreibung ist es tatschlich so, dass ich die 250m Rasen mit diesem Mher in der halben Zeit gemht habe. Es ist so leicht, dass ich so schnell wie ich wollte und ohne den fiesen Kraftaufwand beim Drehen, Eckenmhen und vor allem am sanften, aber sprbaren Hang durchmhen konnte. Bei exzellentem Schnittergebnis wohlgemerkt. Das Mhen mit dem Greenworks-Mher hat in jeder Hinsicht berzeugt.
Natrlich muss man Konzept und Gert trennen. Das Konzept Akkubetriebener Mher ist grundstzlich sehr “sexy”. Geringes Gewicht, das Fehlen jeglicher Wartungsarbeiten aus dem blichen Reinigen und der Wegfall von Kraftstoffeinfllerei und lkontrolle – all das ist fr sich genommen schon die Anschaffung wert. Wenn dann aber auch die Handhabung und das Schnittergebnis berzeugen, kann man sehr zufrieden sein. So wie hier. Zwei Akkus werden mitgeliefert, einer gengt fr 40m locker. Auerdem, sofern man auf Greenworks setzt, hat man gleich einen Akku fr die Kettensge, wie bei mir, oder andere Produkte der Reihe. Bis auf dem Umstand, dass die Griffstange nicht im Neigungswinkel verstellbar ist, ist hier alles vernnftig konstruiert und produziert. Das Gert luft sehr schnell an, mht sehr sauber und kraftvoll und auf einen Motorvortrieb kann man getrost verzichten, so leicht wie es ist.
Insgesamt also ein gutes Gert fr kleine bis mittelgroe Grten, dass auch auf unebenen Flchen gut zu verwenden ist. Man kann es bei Bedarf auch mit einer Hand sehr gut fhren und der Kraftaufwand beim Mhen ist auch ohne Antrieb deutlich geringer als bei den Motorgerten. Empfehlenswert!
Im Lieferumfang dieses Greenworks Tools Akkurasenmher sind 2 Akkus, Ladegert, ausfhrliche Bedienungsanleitung und Mulcheinsatz dabei. Der Mher ist vormontiert und lsst sich ohne Werkzeug mit wenigen Handgriffen in Betrieb nehmen. Bei mir war der Mulcheinsatz eingesteckt und musste vor dem ersten Mhen entfernt werden. Die beiden Akkus waren zu ca. 50 % vorgeladen und es konnte damit gleich mal ein Test vorgenommen werden. Was sofort auffllt: die Verarbeitung wirkt deutlich billiger als bei dem Bosch Gert. Auch die Bedienung ist nach meinem Empfinden bei Bosch ergonomischer gelst. Dagegen ist die Positionierung des Akkus (lsst sich von oben einstecken/Entnehmen) und der Grasfangkorb beim Greenworks Tools besser gelst als bei Bosch.
Beim Mhen selbst macht sich die groe Breite von 41 cm bemerkbar. Der Mher ist dadurch etwas unhandlicher als der kleinere Bosch, man schafft aber grere Flchen deutlich schneller. Beim ersten Versuch war unser Rasen etwas feucht, der Mher hatte damit aber kein Problem und der Grasfangkorb ist wegen der groen ffnung auch nicht verstopft. Von der Akkulaufzeit braucht man bei den mitgelieferten 2 Ah Akkus jetzt keine Wunder erwarten, bei unseren ca. 100 qm reicht ein Akku fr ca. 75 % der Flche (ist bei dem Bosch aber auch so).
Fr kleinere Rasenflchen bzw. viele Hindernisse (wie Bume, Beete usw.) ist dieser Greenworks Tools nicht so optimal, da er durch die Gre doch etwas unhandlich ist, fr grere Rasenflchen sollte man ber einen strkeren Akku nachdenken ( Greenworks Tools 29727 40V Lithium-Ionen Akku 4Ah ).
