Trying to do 100 skips a day. Hamstrings don’t always allow it, but this rope, plus the ability to adjust the length, is far more pleasant than a n old washing line!

This is a really good skipping rope. It is adjustable, by cutting back the rope, so that if fits an individual persons size. The handles are really easy to hold and are comfortable.
You’ll need to adjust the length of the cord. This is a metal wire plastic coated. Measure the length you need you can YouTube that or put two feet on the cord and hold the cord and handles up and straight. The end of the handles should come to about nipple or shoulder height
Snip with pliers but do a few cm at a time in case you shorten them too much.

I recorded it on Apple Watch at HIIT although there are dedicated skipping apps in the App Store but be wary some of those are extortionate. Just use your AW.
Oh, I bought a mat too which was pricey but reduces impact on your feet and I could do the skipping in doors I thought I’d have to go outside.
After a week I’ve got the technique right and jumping fifty times which is about 25 seconds then resting 30 seconds then repeat for fifteen minutes.

excellent rope but very tricky to adjus
his is a great rope, good weight and FAST! however, the problem with it is that it is very difficult to adjust. once you remove the plastic caps on the handles, you are supposed to push out the excess rope to cut it back to the right size. however, the plastic cylinders that hold the rope in place get stuck so you cannot push the rope out to cut it back. i ended up having to use needle nosed pliers to have to pull the rope out to cut it to size. needs to be better thought out.

The foam on the handle is just so unnecessary. I took it off and the hard plastic under is much more usable and more comfortable .
Also the handle should be maybe an inch longer. Again, I put my own DIY extension using a 25mm plastic pipe and its now a great kit.

Practical features
Just got this skip rope for a week. It comes with lightweight metal cable core and wrapped with PVC cover. The handle is easy to grip, there is internal rotating rings to connect the role to the handles, aiming for extending the role lifespam and facilitating the fast rotating of the role.
2x pairs of rope holders/stopper are being used, 1 pair in each rope/handle end.
There are ann extra pair of holders/stoppers for future replacement.
The skip rope provides considerable length and expecting user to measure and cut to fit his/her unique body build.
The measure and cut is easy enough to perform for an adult.
As only have it for a week, not sure yet its durability, but it looks promised so far.
Over is a good-buy and recommended.

Used this for 3 months now. Once you get used to it with the right length, you will enjoy daily use of the rope. Do not cut it too short in the beginning. Give allowance for adjustments. The skipping rope generates a fairly good amount of momentum while skipping so that you do not have to swing your arms too much.

I skip outside destroying ropes. This is by the most durable, cheapest and comfortable. It has decent speed not the fastest but I can still occasionally do triple unders and doubles are easy with it. The handles are good and mould around your hand nicely and the rope is pretty easy to adjust. 5/5 would recommend.

Well Iv only had it a couple days so the durability rating was a chance lol! But it is a fantastic item, a little more weight than my plastic cheaper one, so I can do the double-unders easier! I bought this as my said plastic one tangled a lot doing side swings and cross overs, upsetting my rhythm all the time. This rope has solved that completely, makes me a much better skipper, I love it! Thanks

The only thing to bear in mind is that you will need some good wire-cutters to adjust the length (I borrowed some from a neighbour), but this is a good sign in terms of durability. The ball bearings in the handle mean that the rope spins round easily and doesn’t catch.

Extremely painful if you hit yourself
I couldn’t use it after a few times as it’s so painful if you accidentally hit your legs or your feet. I knew it had steel in it but the pain is unbearable, I had bruises and stopped using it unfortunately
