I brought this for a trip to Europe not knowing for sure if I would need it. It ended up raining all day in Stockholm. This coat kept me dry. The hood fits around the face so it didn’t blow off in the wind or let rain get in. Worth it. I went by the advice and got a Large even though I normally wear a medium size. Honestly, probably could have ordered the medium and been fine.

I purchased a small because other people thought the coat ran small. I wear an xsmall to a small. the small was too big the xsmall has plenty of room. My thought is the smaller sizes are acurately sized and the larger sizes run small. Ironically since purchasing the coat it has not rained hard just a drizzle so i can't accuraley determine its water proofness.

Belle coupe, très beau manteau
Je suis trs heureuse de mon nouveau manteau. Belle longueur, bien ajust et les manches sont assez longues. Je craignais que les manches soient trop courtes mais ce n’est pas le cas.

I’m, 5’7″ and a little curvy. I purchased this lightly lined shell, oversized to accommodate layers and handle rain and cold in urban Seattle over Christmas. On me, it hits mid-thigh, so my butt stays dry. I live in CA, so I needed it to be adaptable to milder conditions (45-50) as well. When we got to Seattle on Christmas Eve day, it was raining and cold — about 40 degrees. The coat was cozy — completely water- and wind proof. Overnight it snowed and the temps dropped to between 20-25. We had an authentic white Christmas! I layered it up with fleece-lined water resistant leggings, polypro base layer top, HH Polartec fleece pullover,
Bean’s Polartec vest, Polartec hat, scarf and gloves. The weather remained snowy, icy, cold and windy until we left on the 29th. I remained warm, dry and happy as a clam for the duration! Back home I’m wearing it

Buena prenda, protege bien en la nieve aunque se necesita una segunda capa. No tiene bolsillo el la manga para forfait solo en los laterales. El problema del color blanco es que se mancha con facilidad y quitar las manchas es difcil.

I bought a size larger than usual to allow for a fleece underneath as there’s no thick insulating layer. All in it’s a nice, functional piece of kit, you get what you pay for.

I was most worried about the sizing because I am solidly in between a small and a medium and sizing always depends on the brand. 5’2″ and 120 pounds with broad shoulders. The medium is absolutely perfect. Roomy enough for layers but still slim looking.
UPDATE: So I’ve had this coat for about 6 months. And at least 50% of the time the zipper won’t work when I’m trying to zip up. Or it won’t unzip all the way and I’m left struggling to take it off. It is to the point that I dread the zipping moment when I’m in a restaurant. Will I stand there for 5 minutes struggling to zip my coat? Or off? Kinda puts me off wearing it.

Aunque en la foto parece ms largo y entallado, no lo es.(por so no le doy las 5 estrellas y el logo del brazo no es blanco, es gris) Mido 1,64cm y me queda como a 4 dedos por encima de la rodilla, es de corte campana, mas recto de cuerpo y se abre un poco abajo, pero sienta genial. La talla es amplia, suelo usar la L y es la que ped, tena miedo por si me quedaba muy justo, ya he he cojido 3Kg de ms y al contrario, me queda suelto y disimula todas mis curvas, incluso podr ponerme algo de abrigo debajo para cuando haga ms fro. La tela es muy agradable y el forro tambien, no es grueso pero tampoco demasiado fino. Lo he puesto stos das que estbamos a 9 y con el chandal debajo no he necesitado nada ms. Es bastante transpirable, no he sudado nada con l, con un uso normal de ir al trabajo y poco ms. La impermeabilidad an no he podido comproblarla, porque no ha llovido suficiente. Pero ya es un imprescindible en mi armario. Muy satisfecha con la compra y adems lo consegu en una oferta por menos de sesenta euros 🙂

Having moved to Phoenix from Montana I didn’t need to have a ski jackets anymore but spotted this and it’s perfect for our winter days in December and January. The coat is stylish and classy. I loved it so much I ordered one for my daughter. As usual with Helle go up one size.She usually wears a medium ordered a large and it fit. I get a large and ordered an extra large and it fit! It’s hanging in the closet waiting for next December and I know I will enjoy it!

Lightweight but sturdy. Excellent quality. I am a size 16. I am 5 feet 1 inch and 65kg so the coat comes to the middle of my knees. Coupled with wellies or boots I am well protected when out walking. Plenty room for layering, have worn it with 3 layers including a thin fleece and very comfortable. Not baggy without layers. Neck height is good and not tight or prone to scratching my face and the hood is adjustable. Bought for out walking in the rain but would look very smart in other circumstances.

As much as I'm happy with this jacket, i do miss the days when Helly Hansen made detachable fleece liners for their windproof and waterproof jackets. I am pairing this jacket with a fleece that i bought from another HH jacket in 2002/2004. And it fits perfectly - - a benefit of HH consistent fit. However, i miss the snaps that would keep the sleeves and neck in place as i took off the jacket. I chose this model over the long Belfast jacket because this Auden has a packable hood, which folds into a stand up collar, thus preventing me from needing a neck scarf on some days.

I ordered a larger size so i could layer underneath but the sleeves where half an inch shorter than the size smaller. I had to return it as the sleeves were too short but otherwise great quality.

Daughter needed to look good for 6th year with coat that was properly waterproof for Scottish August, that had length to fit flatteringly with skirt/Dr Martens – and one that didn’t leave her cooked through lack of breathability. This has been well and truly tested over two days of torrential rain now and has passed with flying colours. After day of being stuffed in schoolbag came out with minimal creases.
She is size 16 and 5 3. The XL was good shape with space for jumper in cold weather, but not baggy and shapeless. Knee length, and the extra stud button at cuff meant neat at wrists.
Delivered incredibly quickly. All in all, worth every penny so far.

I love the jacket. It keeps me dry, fits like the sizing says. Only thing I find that it doesn’t do is breathe. I sweat a lot in the jacket.

As usual, a high quality item from HH and at a great price. A quick look over the coat brought no surprises with workmanship. For true to sizing chart and seems to keep the rain on the outside, where it belongs. My Wife is quite happy and she says she would highly recommend to her friends. KS
This coat is chic enough to wear on a rainy day in Paris, sturdy enough to wear hiking in the woods, and edgy enough to blend into the bar crowds at night. I have a collection of raincoats, but as soon as I got this one, the rest went into storage! I love this coat, and its been money very well spent.
I’ve been using it regularly through the rainy winter and spring (since December of 2019), and its held up really well. No leaks, and it looks brand new despite the fact that I have put it through the ringer. I honestly love to walk in the rain, and this has kept me cozy and dry. Its got a little bit of weight to it, so its perfect for those 40 to 70 degree rainy days…but any warmer than that and it starts getting a little hot in there.
I’m slender/average – 5’7″ with a 34′ bust and hip, and the medium fits me very well. Just roomy enough that I can wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath, but also not too lose for the days when I’m just wearing a t-shirt. As others have said, the cuffs are pretty tight, but I don’t mind it!
The only con is the pockets. My jacket arrived with a small hole in one of the pockets- but the fleece was easily sewn up, and I haven’t had a problem since. Other than that, the pockets are kind of tight, but I can usually manage to fit in the following: Wallet, tampons, chapstick in the inside breast pocket; phone, airpods, sunglasses, keys in the hand pockets. The phone is kind of hard to get in and out, that’s the main downside. And there’s not much room left for your hands. One day I might pull out the fleece and extend the pockets a bit.

I had to size up three sizes!! I normally wear a petite XL as I’m pleasantly plump 5’2″. I read so many reviews stating to size up at least one size and I almost got the XXL but there was one review that convinced me that I needed to size up to a XXXL. I even went to the HH website and based on my measurements and age and height, they recommended an XL. There is no way I could have fit into an XL in this coat or an XXL. I’ve never in my life worn anything close to and XXXL size but let me tell you, if you are a size 16-20, have a matronly figure and carry your weight around your stomach and hips, you will need the 3X. This coat is a bit longer on me, hitting just below my knee but it looks great and I have enough room to layer. I was concerned that the white would make me look too large but it really doesn’t. It looks stylish and very tasteful.
The fabric is silky soft and very flexible and not bulky at all. The zippers are of good quality. Both the front and the pockets have zippers. I feel like I got a good deal on this coat and I highly recommend.

Una prenda de calidad. La he usado practicando ski con mal tiempo y responde perfectamente a mis espectativas. Repele el agua 100%. No deja pasar el aire y muy transpirable. Eso si, hay que ponerse una capa primaloft debajo ya que contra el fro no es la prenda ms adecuada. Muy cmoda, gran libertad de movimientos y la largura, al no ser muy estrecha da para moverse sin problemas. Es la nica prenda que me he comprado y el largo de las mangas va acorde con mis brazos, perfecta! Puo estrecho con 2 clics, se me hizo un poco incmodo usar con guantes ya que no me daba el puo para ponerlo por fuera y al ponerlo por dentro del guante me resultaba algo incmodo. Para vestir, es perfecto el puo.
Si le tengo que sacar alguna pega….creo que le falta un bolsillo en la manga para meter forfait.
Me encanta la parka, estoy muy satisfecha con la compra.

so glad i bought this earlier this year, have worn it practically every day during recent storms and wet weather, including during a long walk on the east coast headland during heavy rain and gusty winds. high quality and windproof, water just runs off the material. the fit is snug if wearing several layers and a scarf, but it is roomy enough, and pockets are deep enough to keep hands protected from the elements too.

An no he podido usarla en lluvia pero la calidad de la tela se siente excelente. Ped la talla S y creo que est un poquito grande, pero est bien. El paquete lleg super rpido.

Encantada. Funciona genial como impermeable y cortaviento. Es como una segunda capa, ya que no tiene forro interior de abrigo.
El diseo me encanta. Sienta muy bien y entalla un poco en la cintura, por lo que se puede usar tambin para vestir.
Talla normal. Escoger la talla habitual. Yo mido 165cm y peso 60kg y escog la M.
No le pongo las 5 estrellas porque pens que el interior iba a ser acolchado y me iba a servir para climas fros, pero por lo dems, la recomiendo absolutamente.
