The flush-mounted Homematic IP Blind Actuator is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and offers automatic control of exterior and interior blinds, shutters and awnings with all standard tube motors. Therefore, the small actuator is installed into a flush-mounted box and wired to the existing tube motor. After set-up individual week profiles can be defined, also depending on the sunrise and sunset

Simply use a remote control or your smartphone. With the Homematic IP app, the ceiling light can be dimmed to the required brightness for an evening in front of the TV while the floor lamp is turned on, creating the perfect mood.

Smart Home made simple

The entire solution can be intuitively set up and comfortably controlled via the free smartphone app. Configuration of single devices is performed by the Homematic IP cloud service. Homematic IP is based on the 868 MHz radio band. There is no interference whatsoever from WLAN, Bluetooth, video streaming or other users of 2.4 GHz.

Uncompromising Security

During installation of the system the communication of Homematic IP is secure and cannot be manipulated. During operation, all radio packages are encrypted and authenticated. Reading, changing or repeating data or other kind of attacks are impossible. Similar to online banking, the established AES-128 and CCM standards are used.

Flexible Application

Homematic IP can be easily retrofitted due to its wireless communication and it can thus be integrated into new installations as well as existing buildings. Battery operated devices can be easily screwed on to radiators or stuck to walls, while the wired components offer invisible integration into the interior design.

Offline operation

Many functions like heating profiles, time profiles or alarm notifications via the alarm siren continue to run even if there is no active Internet connection or if the Access Point is destroyed.
