The floor type adjustment is basically a suction bypass so on carpet you get less suction.
The brushbar drive is weak – it tends to stall when steering, I never had that problem with my previous dyson.
It is lightweight. Cable could be a bit longer, a couple of metres longer would have been perfect for me.
Easy to empty and clean a bonus.
I’ve had this hoover for some time now and I really like it. It is very light weight and manoeuvrable. The suction is pretty good – not the best I’ve ever had, but certainly not bad. I particularly like the long power cord. I can plug it in my downstairs lounge and have it reach all the way up the stairs to the bedrooms (typical size 3 bed terrace house).
We have change for this one. It’s Great.
Hoover simply and efficie
I needed a new hoover for my elderly mother who has dementia, introducing new things can be a bit challenging but she has coped with this hoover & it does what it is supposed to do
I like the colour ways style and a comfortable large grip handle. Lightweight for carrying upstairs. Steerable nice long cord. Used pet turbo brush attachment which picked up decent amount of pet hair from pet throw. Be good if came with an additional vac hose to connect to existing vac hose so have greater reach. Like tools stowage which works well. Doesn’t lie completely flat for vacuuming under coffee table but that’s only a minor point. Overall I’m pleased with my new vac from Hoover and at an affordable price.
I am absolutely delighted with this hoover. I’m the sort of person who takes a while to make a choice, fearing I’ll be disappointed. I’m definitely not with this. It’s easy to move, it gives a lovely finish to the carpet pile, the stair mini hoover is brilliant. I have previously struggled hoovering the stairs with previous hoovers. The mini tool makes it so easy and suction is great, albeit you are still carrying the hoover with you as you go. For the fraction of the price of a shark, it’s performance is great. I previously had Dysons and it’s better.
I replaced my cordless Vax with this Hoover vacuum cleaner. The long lead means I can vacuum my entire large apartment using one central socket. The machine is reasonably light and unlike most other vacuums, is very easy to empty.
I’m not convinced it is working correctly as the brushes stop rotating intermittently but I will persevere.
This Hoover is not the most powerful and I don’t have any pets, and so it works for me. Others with children and long-haired dogs may be disappointed.
Recommended for small houses and average size flats.

Its easy to move around and really lightweight for anyone who struggles with the hoovering!
The handle removes to allow more stretch and for anyone who thinks this doesn’t have enough stretch the hoover is so light you can lift it to give yourself a bit more.
One of my best amazon purchases! Maybe it could have a bit more suction but I am happy to compromise a tiny bit for the fact is it so lightweight.
I bought this machine to replace my 14 year old Dyson which had stopped working. When I opened the package it looked like a toy compared to my old machine. However looks can be deceiving as it has proved to be an excellent machine, with good suction and manouverability. Having to disconnect the hose to use the tools is rather annoying, but that’s the way it’s designed. When the handle and tube is used with the tools for cleaning in corners the tube is too short and it would benefit with an extension. Also as the machine is so light it has a propensity to fall over when the hose is being used.
Until I repair my Dyson this will do very nicely thank you.
Delivered quickly and easily assembled (mostly done already). Seems almost identical to the Vax I had to replace after many years – which I found good, so this is ideal! You can vary the suction and/or the brush rotation which is good as I have hard and soft floors, and a pet! Although they make a point of cable length it could do being a tad longer but is fairly lightweight and nicely manoeuvrable. WOULD recommend, esp if you have cat or dog.
I absolutely love this! So easy to push about. Suction is brilliant and sucks up all dirt.
I love how easy the hose comes off the bottom and the attachments attach. They also store securely to the hoover, so you don’t lose the attachments.
I also find it has a long cord, I’ve never run out of lead in my 2 bed house. I can do the whole upstairs from one plug and the whole downstairs. It makes hoovering so much easier and quicker.
I actually don’t think I have anything negative to say about this hoover. For me it’s been a lifesaver!

So far so good…the last Hoover I purchased didn’t last long- bissell icon 25v. Sad as I always found bissell a very good product…these things happen.
I looked around and decided to purchase this upright hoover for a change. I like the suction power and its light to manoeuvre around…I remember having a hoover that lasted years.
Absolutely perfect for me , after years of using a dyson, (battery lasting about 15 mins , spending ages trying to clean inside filter’s ) I decided to get a main operated one , no more worrying if the battery will last long enough , the hoover is quiet and powerful, perfect . And it’s got a 5 metre cable
Gosh it arrived and I went to give it a test run – I had just come home the day before after a short trip, before going I cleaned the house from top to bottom. How embarrassing it was to see what came up in the hoover, unfortunately I have deleted the photos from my iPad but have taken it from my phone. Obviously the hoover is not as light as a stick but never the less I can still manage it at the moment (it would have been nice if it had a light on the front like one I bought about 1970).
Very easy to assemble and I have the attention span of a fruit fly so this is perfect! Quiet, it purrs. Powerful, amazing suction, easy to use attachments and so light, I totally love this bit of kit and would not hesitate to buy another one! 5 MONTHS ON AND I AM DISAPPOINTED IN THIS VACUUM. THE SUCTION HOSE ATTACHES ITSELF TO THE CLEANING HEAD WITH A VERY FLIMSY CLIP, THE ABOVE PHOTO IS OF THE TINY BIT OF PLASTIC WHICH HAS BROKEN (IT WORKS INSIDE THE CLIP AS A TINY LEVER) AND NOW MEANS THAT THE HOOVER NO LONGER WORKS BECAUSE WITHOUT THE FLIMSY CLIP SECURING THE HOSE IN PLACE THE FORCE IF THE (EXCELLENT) SUCTION BLOWS THE HOSE OUT SO YOU CANNOT USE IT!! HOWEVER, I’VE MANAGED TO FIX IT WITH STRONG GLUE AND ELECTRICAL TAPE BUT THIS HAS TO BE A PERMANENT FIXTURE WHICH MEANS I CANNOT USE ANY OF THE TOOLS!!!! NOT HAPPY WITH HOOVER!!!
Thus is a quality hoover which deals really well with our two collies and the hair and mess they leave. It is robyst, sturdy, easy to use snd yes quite light. I like the option of stopping the brushes which is good for the hard floor and when using it outside to clean the car. Overall, I rate this highly and worth the extra cost over a similar described Vax.
Had stick cordless, battery poor and stopped charging after 8 mths.
This hoover very good, suction good can swap between suction only or beater. Floor or carpet.
Not a lot of tools but adequet. Fairly manouverable. Quietest hoover ever had.
Only thing, back to restricted by cord but this is very long and can do whole ground floor 4 rooms from midway power point.

This hoover is rea.ly good. My last cleaner was a Dyson ( which was really good and lasted years just became to heavy for me) The hoover is lightweight and easy to maneuver lead is a good length the attachment for stairs is really good. Would recommend to any one having difficulty with heavier model
The cleaner works well. All the accessories work, once you have fiddled to fit them, but you can’t help thinking this was made to a ( very low ) price. Like so many new devices, the producer’s miserly costings have resulted in an item that feels less than ideal. Finally, possibly because it is a very recently released model, I have failed to find any of the big online suppliers of vacuum spares, who can provide a replacement drive belt. This situation should improve with time : it needs to, because we all know the first thing one expects to fail on this type of cleaner is the drive belt for the beater bar ! Sadly, for a real Hoover, only 4 stars out of 5 – “could do better” !
I also tried a Hoover Upright 500 Pets and that was too heavy for me and I preferred the look of this one.
– Really strong suction on both hard floors and carpets (we have hardwood floors and carpets in our house so were able to test on both)
– Very long power cable (we live in a victorian terrace so plug sockets are few and far between! this wasn’t a problem with this hoover at all)
– Very simple to use, very impressed at how easy/clean it was to empty
– So much quicker and easier to use the pet hair removal brush than to continuously brush our velvet sofas (check before and after photos) which drove my partner mad!
Negatives:
– Only drawback was the actual weight of the unit, it was fine for me but my female partner just felt it was on the heavy side when using i
Absolutely brilliant. It worked really well on my carpets. It was able to remove hair and pet fur that I couldn’t even see was there. I mean there was so much that I had to clean the brushes straight away. That was also easy enough.
Another thing is how light it’s. My previous one was very heavy and this made it super easy to move around the carpets. And the handle is super comfy. Very smooth.
I think the only downside is I with the hose could stretch further. I was having a hard time cleaning the stairs and having enough room.
Also really like the colours and accessories. Brilliant design.
I love that it’s lightweight and has an excellent suction to it – far better than any previously owned.
Another feature that’s good it has 80 degree steering on it, makes it so easy to move it around.
The hard floor to carpet feature is brilliant because it’s not just 2 settings, it’s a gradual change so the carpets that are a bit harder but aren’t actually hard floor I can just put in between the two and it gives me the perfect suction for it.
Finally the simplicity of the whole Hoover is brilliant – none of this complicated, 18372 different pieces of equipment malarkey just a simple, easy to use Hoover.
I literally have no negatives to report whatsoever.
