Got this in my garden, it is very helpful to me, specially when im planting new plants, is amazing, easy to use and easy to manage, very handy, this Garden Claw Tool Cultivator, Hand Twist Tiller with Durable Steel Shaft Tines and Comfortable Handle 76cm Long, im happy of my purchase value for money
Used as it was designed for, tilling soil beds. My only dislike is with the ‘durable steel shaft’. With all four bolts / wing nuts securely tightened, the assembled shafts still ‘rattle’ i.e. the shaft was not ‘solid’ once put together.
My garden duties don’t go beyond grass cuttings, leaf collecting, and barbecues in good weather but my wife is a VERY keen gardener. She’s forever doing things I don’t understand with plants I don’t know the names of – I normally ask her to tell me the colour and point at it… – including a fair bit of work with the soil and planting new bulbs. When I was buying a new rake set, she spotted this and asked me to get it too. Quick and easy to put together, and to use you just push it slightly into the soil and then push down and twist it to burrow into the earth. You don’t need to put much pressure on it as the four curved spikes cut through the ground well. Much quicker and easier than digging out with a spade or trowel.
Inside the box sit all of the components of this garden hand tillar . It comes in three parts , with an assembly instruction leaflet a bag of screws and a nice pair of gardening gloves .
Made from a lightweight metal the three parts consist of the handle , this has ABS rubber grips , the central black pole , and finally the bottom part which holds the claw
You can adjust the size as all three pieces gave two holes to put the screws through . Assembly is really simple all you need is a spanner to tighten the nuts on the screws .
This is the perfect height for raised beds rotating and agitating the soil before you begin planting .
The claw and handle are coated yellow ,but the claw is easy to clean off with a brush . I like to ensure it’s stored in a dry place to expand the life of the metal fixings and avoid any rusting .
Very reasonably priced you’d be hard pressed to find a hand tillar if this quality in a garden centre at this ones price . I’m happy to recommend .
Have to say i prefer the straight prongs instead of these curved ones. They tend to catch in the surface roots. Almost lost one of the bolts, the nuts dont lock. I will be adding locknuts to mine.
Easily assembled using pliers and a spanner to tighten wing nuts and bolts, sturdy once assembled. Claws very sharp, used to remove 3 – 5 cms thick hard pan of overburden left over garden by builders.
My other half said she wanted one so I purchased it for her. She assembled it fairly quickly and asked me to check as it appeared too simple. Having used it she says does the job but we have a clay soil so it tends to leave large lumps-nothing is perfect. Nice touch for the included gloves though.
This makes weeding an absolute cinch, twist, kift and bin the weeds and their roots. It saves kneeling and bending.
The self assembly is a bit cheap and cheerful, the bolts are over long and the nuts are not locking. My wife is shorter than me, I had to drill out extra holes, the manufacturer should think about adding some adjustability to the shaft length. So I had to modify it and supply more appropriate nuts, but at the price I’m not complaining.
The cultivator was easy to put together and was instantly available for use. Our soil is very much a clay soil and in a dry spell of weather it had baked hard. The Cultivator was well able to deal with the bits that were not baked into a hard “crust” – for these the only answer was to start with a garden fork to get the cultivator in and then use it. It makes a far better job of turning and tilling the soil than a fork. One criticism I have is that the handles are not really designed for work on really hard soil and I had a blister on one of my thumbs from turning the device in the heavy soil and I was wearing sturdy gloves.. A little bit more attention to the molding of the grips might help with this problem! Let it be said, however, that I have had other makes of cultivator that had no protection for the hands. It is a sturdy device that is up to most jobs, I imagine; I have had other cultivators of this type that simply broke and were consigned to the bin! In general I am very pleased with the device and am pleased with it – I only give it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the grip issue mentioned above.
It is very easy to use, really helps to add some more air to the soil. Easy to store it is quite small. Also it is very strudy and well made. Highly recommend buying it. Most wanted tool for garden!
This is a really useful tool on the allotment but I had to use my own nuts abs bolts to securely tighten the parts together. The ones that were supplied by the manufacturer were useless.

Excellent tool did the job easily . I turned my garden over in no time
Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, hab ich ja noch nicht so lange.
Aber er lsst sich gut handhaben und erleichtert mir die Arbeit.
Works great for shifting the dirt around.
Wouldn’t recommend for weeding.
I am disabled and I dug a border 18 inches by 12 feet in slightly less than 1 hour.

Easy to use and was very easy to assemble. Have used it and it appears to be very sturdy.
It’s robust and easy to use, made the gardening a lot easie
Seems to be robust only used it once but it did the job
I would prefer it if the claws were straight and not curved in at the bottom.
It’s a handy tool if the ground isn’t to hard other wise you end up with blisters works fine on top soil
Quick to assemble and immediately made things easier. Nice aerated soil in no time at all. I honestly didn’t think it would work so well.

Makes turning over clay soil a lot easier and faster to remove weeks. So far I’ve only used once so cannot comment on robustness.

Makes light work of cultivating most souls and is so easy to use. Really good tool which I wouldn’t be without now!
We have bought other GOOD NAMED tillers before ..but they were no way as good as this one …Highly recommend
